Does Your Nakshatra Predict How Popular You Will Be?

TW: This post discuses few sensitive topics associated with death, negative scandals, body image issues, etc. If you feel uncomfortable with such topics, please do not read further. I also do not support or condemn anything, as through this post I am merely reporting my observations.

For this post, I collected the Sun and Moon (excluded Lagna as most idols did not have confirmed birth time) for 49 female idols who made it into the list of "The Most Popular Kpop Female Idols (From 2009-2023)"

My aim is to not predict but to purely observe.

The video was purely about popular idols, so please note that idols can be popular both favourably and unfavourably.

As mentioned earlier, most birth times were not confirmed and therefore some signs may be quite off.

I am not an expert so my explanations will remain minimal, if any of you are more knowledgeable, please drop in your opinions as well.

First, for the the Sun Sign.

The Top 3 listed Sun Signs among the most famous female kpop idols included:

Uttara Bhadrapada (12.2%)

Dhanishta (10.2%)

Rohini (6.1%)

For Uttara Bhadrapada,

These women were mostly known for projecting a very strong yet attractive aura around them. Interestingly, these idols were also mostly famous for quite a few negative incidents such as death/hate (Sulli), drug scandals (Park Bom), reporting of bad behaviour (Irene) and mental health issues (Mina). Although not all, most of these women fitted the trope of "love to hate" with the most significant examples being Lisa and Irene. However, their popularity and fan base is extremely vast and most of these idols were appreciated for their immense hard work. Their perfectionistic tendencies are not hidden to the public, for instance Lisa in Youth with You and Irene's scandal that supposedly arose due to her excessively perfectionistic behaviour. Nevertheless, these women are greatly appreciated for their ability to bounce back from hate and the consistent quality and the passion they display for their work. These women are also usually at the very top of their respective positions. For their looks, they usually have a very cold yet attractive face paired with a touch of cuteness especially through their lip shapes.

For Dhanishta,

These women were mostly known for their unique visuals, calm yet cool voice and are interestingly very skilled dancers. Unlike, the Uttara Bhadrapada women, these women had a more approachable energy and were usually liked for their adorable or charming personalities. They are also more easily liked and favoured by the general audience. They are also usually termed as idols having a more natural beauty (Sooyoung) with beautiful bone structures and supermodel-like bodies giving them an additional classy looks (Naeun). Most of these women either are (Rose) or look tall and have a strong social media presence (Seulgi) which is received very favourably by most of their fans due to its aesthetics and trendy image. Contrastingly, these women greatly respect their privacy and do not share much information regarding their private lives. As mentioned earlier, each of these women have very distinct personalities, and even more than their looks, their fans appreciate their personality which appears genuine, charming and innocent.

For Rohini,

These women are possibly the most diverse in terms of personality with their most prominent common factor being popularity. These women particularly had longer careers compared to other women (Yoona, Hyuna, Ailee). Interestingly, they were also the most likely to either seperate from their groups or naturally purse influential solo careers. Contrary to Dhanshita women, the lives and emotions of these women are more open to the public but this is usually after they have passed a certain event. Both Hyuna and Ailee have been very open about their body issues and how they both had to undergo strict diets in order to fit the image their company and fans wanted. They also report how others might have liked it but they personally did not, highlighting their sacrificial nature and the immense pressure these women face to meet standards and live up to a certain ideal. This could also be attributed to their general body type of being quite broad and having more curves, which went against the beauty standards of its time. On the positive side, these women are greatly admired for their everlasting ethereal looks and natural cuteness. Their personalities are usually quite friendly and also seem to be extremely charming. These women truly shine, making them some of the most entertaining and famous members of their group (Dahyun).

Finally for the Moon Signs,

The Top 3 listed Moon Signs among the most famous female kpop idols included:

For Uttara Bhadrapada,

Sharing many similarities with the Sun in Uttara Bhadrapada women, these women are also strikingly popular and most fall in to the "love to hate" trope. However, the love these women receive from their fans seems to be much greater and they do not have as much as of a negative reaction in comparison either. However, they also have this theme of undergoing several backlashes from the public (Taeyeon & Minzy). They also seem to be the victim of several issues with anxiety in their early years which later transforms to a more composed, evolved and refined image in their later years. However, no matter what stage in their career, people truly do not hold back when attacking these individuals. Interestingly, 2 out 4 of these women were the leaders of their respective groups as well (Taeyeon & Victoria; both SM too). Possibly due to the negative experiences they faced in their earlier years, they tend to take very good care of their juniors and have a very "elder sister" vibe to them (Ailee & Taeyeon). Their visuals have a very "alien" vibe to it with most of them being called such as well.

For Magha,

These women, first and foremost, had extremely striking features with their visuals always remaining an extremely strong topic and a huge contributor to their fame. They are consistent and disciplined in their works enabling these women to succeed in a variety of industries (Sooyoung, Yoona). They are especially known for their particular and even peculiar routines that they enjoy following (lazy stretching in the morning, Sooyoung; eating cereal before bed, Yoona). Surprisingly, these women are also a huge fan of darker hair colours and some even strongly dislike lighter hair colour on them (Nayeon). They are also extremely famous for their witty and honest sense of humour (Chaewon). Their genuineness and ability to entertain a large audience by just being themselves is extremely admired (Nayeon). Although these women do not take the spotlight consistently, they are always able to make a good comeback and rebrand themselves in ways they wish, truly displaying a transformative and versatile nature. They usually have small features and are able to fit a variety of styles and concepts.

For Hasta,

Interestingly most of these women are very good dancers and some of them are especially known for their ability to free style (Chungha). Unfortunately most of the fame received by these individuals is in a negative fashion as well with some being plastic surgery rumours (Chungha, Namjoo). They also receive a considerable amount of criticism for their personality especially with a lot of hate branding them as "fake" for supposedly trying to put on a show (Yeri). These women are also generally quiet and have a calm presence. However, they are also known for being quite blunt and honest when provoked. They usually brand themselves as logical, straight forward and rational most of the time. These women are usually seen taking breaks and time-off from the public due to the hate they receive (Mina). Much of this hate turns these women to become more quiet and distanced which is very much in comparison to their relatively vibrant and outshining nature in their early years. Their appearance usually consists of a small face/features and are usually short in height as well. They usually have a lot of younger and female audience as well.

୨୧ COMO MEXER NO TUPPERBOX!

Rinn's produções tem o prazer de apresentar o passo a passo, porque não é de hoje que quero fazer um post de como mexer nesse bot tão útil para o rpg, mas sempre deixava para lá por preguiça, mas depois de ter que repetir os mesmos passos para amigos próximos, resolvi juntar tudo aqui e compartilhar com quem se interessar! Sem enrolar muito, veja após o cut um guia básico para quem se interessar. Também sugiro darem uma olhada nas traduções da Mira, sobre guias mais completos sobre o discord!

O Tupperbox é um bot usado no discord para uma única conta ter vários "perfis" (tuppers) em um único servidor, muito útil para aqueles que jogam rpg, visto que conseguem manter dois ou mais personagens sem precisar ter uma conta para cada um. Muitos dizem ser difícil de mexer, mas ele é extremamente fácil!

PELO BOT

I. COMO ADICIONAR O BOT EM UM SERVIDOR.

Antes era mais complicado, tinha que entrar em um site e tudo mais, só que agora, se você estiver em um cantinho que já tem, basta apertar no bot e clicar em "ADICIONAR AO SERVER" e selecionar o servidor de sua escolha, quando surgir a caixinha correspondente. Como nas imagens abaixo:

Vai aparecer outra "caixinha" para autorizar algumas coisas no servidor, só descer e apertar em "AUTORIZAR", não coloquei imagem porque já tenho adicionado no meu servidor e não ia funcionar. Com a autorização, o bot vai entrar no seu servidor e é agora que a diversão começa, porque podemos dar inicio ao cadastro dos perfis.

II. CONHECENDO OS COMANDOS DO BOT.

Para aqueles que estão começando, creio ser bom conhecer o bot, então sugiro que faça um servidor pessoal para mandar o comando "tul!help" e verificar tudo que pode ser feito, ou apenas visite esse guia! Ao enviarmos o comando, ganhamos essa mensagem do bot:

Existe esse menu embaixo, para acessar uma nova página, clique na seta que circulei em rosa, se quiser voltar para a página anterior, clique na seta que circulei em verde. Não tirarei print de todas as páginas, porque o que importa são os comandos, tanto que apenas eles vão ser "traduzidos", mas apenas os mais importantes, que podemos usar ao nosso favor:

tul!register: registra um novo tupper, ou seja, o perfil | ex.: tul!register "park sooyoung" joy > text — onde o nome fica entre "" (ou qualquer outro sinal) e o comando em si fica em seguida, pode colocar o que desejar, mas sempre precisa ter text no final.

tul!remove: cancela um tupper registrado | ex.: tul!remove "park sooyoung"

tul!list: veja a lista de todos os tuppers que você tem registrado, também pode ser utilizado para ver os tuppers de outros usuários do server.

tul!avatar: para adicionar uma foto ao perfil cadastrado | ex.: tul!avatar "park sooyoung" link da foto.

tul!rename: para alterar o nome do perfil | ex.: tul!rename <name>

tul!brackets: visualize ou altere os colchetes do tupper registrado.

tul!birthday: adicione ou altere o aniversário do personagem, utilizando apenas o comando, é possível ver os aniversários de todos os tuppers cadastrados | ex.: tul!birthday "park sooyoung" 09/03/1996 — a formula é MÊS/DIA/ANO.

tul!describe: adicione, visualize ou altere a descrição de um tupper, se você quiser colocar.

Crei que esses são os mais importantes para quem está começando, os demais são bem avançados e até bobos, para quem só quer cadastrar um perfil.

III. COMO CADASTRAR SEU PERSONAGEM NO TUPPERBOX.

Repetindo: o bot é bom para quem tem vários personagens em um servidor, seja de rp em grupo ou no 1x1, para não ter que ficar tudo com a foto de perfil da sua conta, acredito que dá mais imersão quando a gente vê o turno com foto + nome do personagem.

Não tem como cadastrar personagem no pv do bot, nem sei se tem como abrir um pv com ele, se alguém souber, me avise. Abra qualquer canal do servidor escolhido, se não tiver um especifico para o bot, (da comunidade, 1x1 ou um pessoal) para começarmos. Como colocado acima, o comanda para cadastro é tul!register, basta mandar a formula para o bot e esperar o cadastro.

É sempre bom fazer um teste, para ter certeza que cadastrou, agora vamos adicionar um icon. Podem pegar qualquer foto online, basta copiar o link e colar assim:

Não esqueçam de colocar o comando antes, especificando para qual tupper o icon vai. Também podem adicionar imagens diretamente de seu computador ou celular, basta colocar o comando e adicionar o arquivo.

Com a foto selecionada, basta enviar a mensagem, segue imagens dos processos feitos.

Não apaguem a mensagem do comando, porque se o fizer, o avatar vai sumir do tupper. Realizem um teste, novamente, para ter certeza que a foto ficou da forma que deseja; normalmente todos os tamanhos ficam bons.

Com isso, vocês já podem começar a jogar com o tupper. Vocês podem colocar o nome da forma que desejarem, com fontes e símbolos, o bot aceita tudo. Até o mix de fontes de sites online são aceitas e não ficam bugando.

PELO SITE DO BOT

I. CONECTANDO SUA CONTA NO SITE.

Desde que descobri o site do Tupperbox, minha vida mudou, altero tudo por lá e é muito mais fácil porque não precisa ficar mandando vários comandos em um servidor só. O site conta com um guide, em inglês, mas acho ele confuso até hoje. Antes de tudo, precisa conectar sua conta do discord no site, mas é super simples. Quando abrir o site, tem a opção LOGIN lá no canto da página, basta clicar ali e esperar abrir outra page.

Pronto, sua conta está conectada e você pode mexer em todo o site, mesmo que a gente só use a "DASHBOARD", ali tem tudo que precisamos. Quando abrir essa aba, você vai ter essa visão:

Em rosa temos todos os tuppers que estão cadastrados na sua conta, a contagem fica no cantinho, não dá pra ver porque o popup tá na frente. Em azul, os comandos de abrir e fechar, se não quiser clicar na setinha do "Ungrouped", pode clicar ali. Em verde, a opção de adição, que tem duas opções, a de adicionar um tupper ou fazer um grupo.

II. COMO CADASTRAR UM TUPPER NO SITE.

Clique em "add tupper" para ganhar essa nova page:

E agora começamos os trabalhos, mas devo avisar que não podemos adicionar arquivos diretamente do computador/celular pelo site, essa opção é premium, mas não se preocupe, se quiser adicionar, só fazer o que ensinei no de cima. Agora vamos cadastrar um tupper pelo site.

Coloque o nome e pegue o link do icon que deseja, então só colocar no "avatar url", o registro fica no "brackets", só colocar da forma que desejar e deixar a segunda lacuna em branco. Diferente do canal, a gente pode adicionar da forma que estamos acostumados, ou seja, DIA/MÊS/ANO. Colocar uma descrição é opcional, só coloquei para exemplificar, acho que fica legal para apresentar seu personagem em comunidades, com infos básicas, dá até para adicionar links, se quiser. Fui fazer um teste e aparece assim, quando mandamos o comando em um canal:

Enfim, depois de montar, não esqueça de salvar! Eu fiz o teste e cadastrou normalmente, muito mais rápido também. Outra coisa legal do site é que conseguimos ver quantas mensagens já foram enviadas com o tupper, aparece na parte de "posts", é besteira, mas é um detalhe novo.

III. COMO FAZER GRUPOS E ADICIONAR OS TUPPERS NELES.

Os grupos são bons para separar seus personagens por gênero, nacionalidade, espécie (humanos e sobrenaturais), por ship de jogo ou quais são de 1x1 e quais são de comunidades; faça o que mais te agrada, só lembre que é UM tupper por grupo, não dá para estar em dois ao mesmo tempo. Para criar um é só clicar no + (como na imagem do tópico acima), mas no lugar de "add tupper", clique em add group.

Dê o nome de sua preferência e salve, ele já vai aparecer na listagem do lado. Agora vamos adicionar os tuppers no grupo, só abrir o ungrouped e selecionar o tupper que deseja.

Com o perfil aberto, vá na área GROUP e selecione a pasta de sua preferência, depois salve a mudança e pronto, seu tupper está na pasta escolhida. E vai ficar assim no site:

CADASTRANDO O TUPPER NOS CANAIS.

Existe uma ferramenta mágica no bot, porque vamos concordar que é um saco ter que escrever a formula toda vez, a cada mensagem. A gente esquece e tira espaço para a mensagem, se for um turno, você vai precisar dividir ainda mais o que escreveu, por isso, você pode fazer uma "mágica". Se você tá em um rp com dois, ou mais, personagens, pode ser que essa parte não te ajude, porque o tupper só automatiza um "perfil" por canal, pode ser útil para canais que apenas um personagem tá envolvido, mas se ambos estão, pode ser ruim.

Essa opção só funciona no app do discord, não tem como fazer pelo site, importante lembrar. E temos duas formas de realizar essa ação, a primeira sendo no mesmo canal que cadastrou o tupper (se o fez), basta enviar esse comando: tul!auto "nome do personagem" #nome do canal. Quando digita o "#" vai aparecer esse popup com todos os canais do servidor, se tiver mais que 10, se não me engano, vai precisar ir digitando até surgir o que você quer; selecione o canal e envie o comando.

Se quiser deletar o automático, só usar tul!auto off "nome do char" #nome do canal.

Também tem como colocar o tupper em todos os canais, basta enviar tul!auto "nome do personagem" e para remover é a mesma coisa, só ir com tul!auto off "nome do personagem".

A segunda versão é ainda mais simples, seleciona o canal que você quer e manda o comando, porque vai automaticamente. Vejam o exemplo abaixo:

Como podem ver, não mandei a mensagem ainda, mas percebam que não tem o backet dele, [ eth ], antes da frase. Mas assim que enviei, minha mensagem ficou por dois segundos e foi substituída pelo tupper cadastrado.

Pronto, assim que você automatiza os perfis de seus chars em um servidor com o tupperbox, tem outra coisa legal, você pode usar o auto em tópicos também, só fazer o comando, que já repeti várias vezes, mas no lugar de botar o nome do canal, coloca o nome do tópico e pronto, apenas as mensagens do tupper escolhido vão para aquele tópico, apesar de que se você manda uma mensagem em um tópico com o bot, as próximas não precisam ter a formulado, porque vai automaticamente.

Hi!!!! I've been reading through this webnovel after seeing @ot3's pitch for it and started writing down some thoughts on the characters and worldbuilding and imminent murdering. This story is very, very long and I only reacted up to about chapter 33, so most of my thoughts will involve the worldbuilding and less the murder mystery aspect -- so if you're looking for theorizing you won't find much of that here. Since I'll be continuing eventually, I wanted to post what I did make note of to revisit later!

Most of these are not marked by chapter/section because I was lazy and I'm not sure how easy it will be to follow as a result, but everything is chronological.

The visual I'm getting of the solar system/local system/dimension they inhabit is kind of a blend of steampunk and fantasy and uhh some secret third thing. With the walls of their "universe" painted in that puella dollhouse witch lair style. Does the sun bounce around like a screensaver. Does it orbit their earth or is it on a fixed axis flung out into “space”? Does “space” even exist anymore? I’m assuming they’re in an enclosed area that they've created. Do they actively use arcane resources to keep objects (ie star and planets) sustaining themselves, or have they made them self sufficient?
