Nothing is so bad that it isn’t good for something. . Today, as I waited for a bus home from visiting my grandfather in the hospital, the first bus was just as full as the Chinese trains in rush hour, so I decided to wait the eight minutes for the next. . Because I did that, I met my uncle on the next bus! Lucky me! . It’s been a year since I last saw him, so I’m glad I ran into him. . The Wind Farm in Tórshavn The project of building 13 new wind turbines in Húsahagi a few kilometres northwest of the Faroese capital Tórshavn, which began in November 2013, is finished and the wind turbines are in operation. The wind turbines in Húsahagi are a big step forward in SEV’s green direction. The National Museum of the Faroe Islands is located in Hoyvík. The permanent staged exhibition: National Museum – Nature and Culture, covers Faroese geology, botany, zoology, archaeology, folk-life and history. The museum has an open air museum located close to the exhibition. Until mid May the museum is open Thursday and Sunday from 14.00 -17.00.
