I had an amazing, unexpected experience at the @mindworkschicago exhibition this weekend. InItially when I read "a behavioral science" exhibition, I immediately though of my son who is on the spectrum. 🌈 But it was much more than I thought...it was about me. The lessons slowly grew from my admiration for the details in each graphic display station. I began to see past the handheld, translucent, die-cut symbols, clean typography treatment on the walls and started to self-reflect. What do I really need to do right now as an artist? And how can that help me where I am in my creative career and life? Especially as a design mom - and even more, a mom with an autistic child. What decisions will I make now, that will change (or not change) my future.🕰 Well... What a crazy *little* journey its been these past few months💗🏡 - From finishing our kitchen & making Phoebe🚃 LIVABLE🙌🏽 to turning it into a real home🏡 with a backsplash and running water, AND a little space just for Lola🐶💗 This journey has been a wild one to say the least.😜 - We pulled the RV all the way from Nash to Chicago, (and I honestly can’t believe we made it in one piece😂) Chicago has been SO FUN.
