शिव की नगरी काशी में गंगा तट पर स्थित काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर शिव के बा��ह ज्योतिर्लिंगों में से एक है। प्राचीन काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर में भी गैर-हिंदूओं को जाने से रोका जाता है हालांकि इस मंदिर में कई बार गैर-हिंदूओं को दर्शन करने की अनुमति दी गई है लेकिन मंदिर के अंदर उत्तरी दिशा में स्थित ज्ञान कुपोर कुएं के आस-पास किसी भी गैर-हिंदू को जाने की अनुमति नहीं है। दरअसल यह स्थान मंदिर के पवित्र क्षेत्रों में से एक है, जहां केवल हिंदूओं को आने की इजाजत है ।

Hindu Mahasabha's calendar says Mecca and Taj Mahal are Temples

The Hindu Mahasabha, Aligarh released a disputable Hindu New Year Calender, in which it called holy site of Muslims, Mecca as 'Maaceshwar Mahadev Temple'. Prior, the right wing groups reffered to Taj Mahal as 'Tejo Mahalaya Temple'.

"We have done 'hawan' customs on the auspicious New year of the Hindu calendar and made plans to make this nation a Hindu Rashtra," said Hindu Mahasabha national secretary Pooja Shakun Pandey. She said that Muslims had pillaged Hindu religious heritage sites and had transformed them into mosques by changing their names likewise. "They should now need to give these back to Hindus and we will restore their original names, as specified in the new calendar," she included.
