Been trying to make one for each of the gods i work with/worship

Some Details about this alter (non upg)

(Slight UPG) one of hypnos animals is a sheep. But i also love plushes when i sleep. Ive gotten him a few plushes for this reason/devote some of my plushes to him. Thats why there is a stuffed sheep front and center and the toothless plush i like to sleep with

Bread,chocolate and alchoal (drinking horn) are always good offerings

Candles are always good too tbh

Poppies are a big symbol

Night is a BIG thing when it comes to sleep. So sometimes just nighttime Vibes (like the moths) i think fit Hypnos

Also moths are fluffy tbh and honestly i feel like he would love plush fluffy things (tend to be what i personally want to sleep with and he is the god of sleep!✨)

Thats why there is blankets in places

I don’t believe lavender/camomile is associated with hypnos but for our modern society those two flowers are pretty heavily associated with sleep. Which is why i added them

I also love sharing camomile tea with him (its in the mug!✨) plus a cute little sleepy time themed mug

The blue forget me not flowers are a little bit of a “joke” its easier for me to get forget me nots than the lethe river that has a forgetting effect.

In my experience he likes the shade of blue of the bookcase i picked. Probs upg too

Halloween is a holiday i love and i love to spend spooky season with her. (Feel like she digs the vibes) plus a bunch of Pumpkins! And Ghosts! And bats! Very much her vibe

I’ve been wanting to make an altar for Dionysus since I started worshipping him, but I can’t make a physical one (I’m a minor and in the broom closet).

I’ve seen how some people have made “mind altars” or something, but I can’t really do that because I keep forgetting/my mind wanders a lot.

However, I’ve seen some people make virtual altars, which piqued my interest. HOWEVER AGAIN—I have no idea what anyone uses for said virtual altars.

For those who have them/know people who have them, what apps/sites do you use?

Made a little altar for Cernunnos in Palia today, someday soon I hope to put the hunting trophy on there and replace the citrine with an emerald!! I found the pelt rug in Zeki's market after I finished setting up the table spread, I think that's a sign that he likes it <3 Praise Cernunnos!

You can have a separate private board for each deity you follow, as simple or as fancy as you like, and if you have Pinterest on your phone, you can visit or add to your virtual altars any time you want.
