“Meditation is not a quick cure-all. You will start seeing changes right away, but really profound effects are years down the line. That is just the way the universe is constructed. Nothing worthwhile is achieved overnight. Meditation is tough in some respects. It requires a long discipline and sometimes a painful process of practice. At each sitting you gain some results, but those results are often very subtle. They occur deep within the mind, only to manifest much later. And if you are sitting there constantly looking for some huge instantaneous changes, you will miss the subtle shifts altogether. You will get discouraged, give up and swear that no such changes will ever occur. Patience is the key. Patience. If you learn nothing else from meditation, you will learn patience. And that is the most valuable lesson available.”

OM AH HUM VAJRA GURU PADMA SIDDHI HUM
& 'The Mandala of the highest Mantrayana is
like the udumbara flower that blossoms only once in an age. It is very rare and does not last for long. Only the very fortunate can meet with what is so difficult to find. ( Guru Padmasambhava)

"Notice human existence is like a solar eclipse of the heart. At different stages, you play hide and seek with your true self, hide from, deny, forget your own full light. Your own inner music is like the ring of fire, like the hidden galaxies you convince yourself are far away. This is the illusion of linear time. The root of who you are is the harmonic connection to everything. It is experienced or filtered based on your level of consciousness. Your life is encoded and you are in the midst of bringing what matters most to light. Every stage is what you make of it." - Liara Covert

Space is the Place--to Meditate...
The one who can control himself, can control the world—his world… You don’t have to go anywhere to meditate, except inside. Much is made in the modern New Age movements of all the different kinds of meditation, which, according to the books and blogs can easily number into the dozens, if not hundreds. But most of those sources aren’t really Buddhist, not in any strict sense. Still, a quick…

BUILDING AWARENESS TO CHANGE HABITS
Everything we are, and everything we do, arises from a habit. All our skills and abilities, and our cravings and addictions, whether good or bad, as well as our physical form, our emotional profile and our genetically derived predispositions and abilities – it’s all habits, either learned or innate. And those habits have been created from a combination of nature and nurture – that is, our…

From Suffering to Compassion: Transforming Life with ME/CFS
Living with chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) often feels like carrying an invisible weight that never goes away. The exhaustion is far beyond ordinary tiredness, permeating not just the body but the mind and heart as well. For many of us, this illness can feel like a curse, a complete derailment of life’s trajectory. Yet, over the years, I’ve come to see it also as a strange and unexpected…

Am I Filling The Shoes I Have Right Now?
A few weeks ago, I ran a half marathon. To be honest, the actual run seemed a letdown compared to the training leading up to it. So, this was my first time doing any kind of a run officially- I was a little surprised by how it unfolded. To begin with, there is a line for the loo. And some people are really hardcore, like warm-up with high knees – it was causing my anxiety, so I stayed close to…

"The essence of learning is reflection and the essence of reflection is meditation. As you go deeper and deeper into the meaning of the teachings, the wondrous qualities of the Dharma will become ever clearer, like the sun appearing ever brighter the higher you fly."
