Después de toda esta temporada y parte de la anterior, difundiendo a los cuatro vientos que Vinicius Jr. iba a ser el próximo Balón de Oro, ahora dan un giro de 360° y anuncian que el favorito es Rodri, que no digo que no se lo merezca, pero más lo mereció hace dos temporadas ganándolo absolutamente todo y marcando en la final de la Champions el gol del título y el Balón de Oro se lo llevó Messi, ganando únicamente la liga Americana y el Mundial.

Pero pongamos que ya no concediéndole el título a Vinicius, hay que buscar otro candidato, y, según los parámetros deportivos y de títulos del susodicho premio, el candidato ideal este año tendría que haber sido Carvajal, que lo ha ganado absolutamente todo.

Creo que queda justificada la ausencia del Real Madrid en la gala, aun siendo ganador de mejor equipo de 2024, un título que aunque merecido, suena a premio de consolación por la absurda decisión de última hora de arrebatarle el Balón de Oro al jugador madridista.

En mi opinión personal,creo que es porque denuncia racismo en el fútbol, y por ende en la sociedad y eso no le gusta ni a la FIFA ni a la UEFA ni a ninguna institución dedicada a la organización de eventos internacionales, lo que ha llevado a darle el toque a la revista France fútbol para que cambie su decisión respecto al premio. Yo, por mi parte dejo de creer en este tipo de premios desde este momento.
