So, I had a fun concept.
Jayce Giopara and the Machine Herald vs post-canon Jayce Talis and the Herald of the Arcane, fighting on top of the sungates. (Is Jayce Talis evil? Is it a brawl that went too far? Did their counterparts piss them off, or vice-versa? Who knows! But he and his Viktor are on the same side.)
The backing track is MOTI's cover of "Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit". (I feel some of the lyrics are pretty thematically-appropriate-especially "Light of the Binary Star" and "I am what you could be if you tried".)
Who wins? Don't know! (Probably Talis and Arcane Viktor, but I do think Giopara and the Machine Herald could do it if they used petricite and could work together for at least five minutes.) But either way, it's a cool fight.
OOOH actually i have been playing around with a similar concept!! like arcane vik and jayce traveling through different universes trying to remove the anomaly from other universe's hexgates/sungates, and they (or at least one them) lands in the league timeline. through a series of coincidences, giopara ends up coming across a very human looking viktor poking around piltover (my own post-canon headcanon of viktor is he's still irreversibly deeply intertwined with the arcane itself, thus his body is still malleable and changes constantly) and manages to slip away before he gets to ask hey!! what the fuck are doing here!!! why you have skin!!!! (and possibly a similar event with the machine herald and talis, though the physical differences between him and giopara are much stronger ie skin color eye color face shap full beard and longer hair etc). giopara tries to confront mh vik who also has no clue why he's got a weird ass doppelganger running around and they eventually confront them as the sungates. mh vik and giopara assume that evil clones are up to something fucked up meanwhile arcane vik and talis don't feel like explaining themselves (i dont think their league counterparts would listen, anyway), so it ends up coming to blows.
as for who wins? almost definitely talis and the arcane herald. talis by himself? probably not, he never was really a fighter even before he broke his leg. He might put up a better fight against himself but he probably wouldn't stand any chance against the machine herald. But the arcane herald is like. a god. like a straight up god. any contact with his skin? you lose. use any sort of hextech? well he's literally hextech at it's peak and seems to have complete control over it, so you lose. have any sort of metal on you? you've just given him way more an advantage because his transmutation abilities is reliant on metal, which sucks because one of them is mostly made of metal. they may put up a fight but the arcane herald wins no doubt. i dont think it'd end in arcane vik and talis killing their other selves thanks to the consequences of fucking with other universe that much, but it'd still be a hell of a fight
