Zooni Tales: Keep It Up, Plucky Pup by Vikram Madan

This was a cute book for early readers that reminded me of Dr. Seuss as it had lots of rhyming in each chapter. Zooni, the plucky pup, goes on adventures and loses a shoe, goes on a boat, and tries to save his friend Cat who fell down a whole! His friends help him as best they can--though, sometimes they cause more problems. Zooni takes it all in stride and is glad to have his friends around him.

It would be a great book to readaloud to young ones who may not be ready to read by themselves to help them learn new words.

On September 17, 2024, a guest lecture on the topic of "International Market in Textile" was held in the Madan Mohan Malviya conference hall. The keynote speaker was Mr. Manish Bhatt, chief marketing officer of Sangam India Ltd., Bhilwara.

The main purpose of this session is to provide practical exposure to management and commerce students regarding international market in textile. He shared all aspect of export business in textile sector. He discussed technical, documentation, logistic and supply chain, policies, rules & regulation in import export business. He depicted through companies power point presentation how company deals with different international clients on the basis of their culture and preferences. He shared that by business we can develop good relation with other country.

He emphasised that there is huge opportunity for talented youth specially for management graduates. He interacted with international students as well. Students showed their keen interest in how to start international business. He quoted some example of UK, European country and China. His firm has been selling to over 40 countries worldwide.

Concluding remarks and vote of thanks was given by Mr Rajesh Bhatt, Head-Dept of Management. Approx 60 students were present from both management and commerce. Mr. Raj singh, Mr. Vikram Singh Rao and Miss Kajal Devpura - Assist Professor were present in the session.
