3. 1-3 games you've played in the past 12 months that you really enjoyed

SO. it's not a surprise to anyone, but this January I actually bought and started playing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. I loved it so much that I ended up reading all eight books for which the game serves as a non-canon sequel, watched the show twice (once by myself, another one with my mother), and I am one achievement away from getting 100% on Steam. It's become one of my favorites and I really do love it.

And also, I replayed and, for the first time, I finished The Wolf Among Us!! Really, really good game, my favorite from Telltale, definitely, and one of my favorites in general. Because of that, I actually reread the Fables comics I had read in 2019, and, yes, I am also very normal about Bigby and Snow.

22. A game ending that's really stuck with you

ABOUT THIS ONE. I don't think I have any screenshots I took because I played it in a different place, but anyways...

I feel like all of my favorite games have really good endings, including those two above (I did cry of happiness during one of the epilogue endings in TW3, not gonna lie), but, for this one, I will actually say two of them.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I played it for the first time when I was 12, and to this day it's my favorite game ever.

It was actually the first game in which I cried during the ending scene, not because it was particularly sad, but because I felt I would never experience the same feeling of finishing it for the first time again. When the sages appeared all together? I was bawling.

Finding Paradise. OKAY, I DID CRY WITH TO THE MOON TOO, BUT I CRIED WITH THIS ONE FOR THE LAST HALF HOUR OF THE GAME, I'M NOT KIDDING YOU. When the song starts playing; when it shows how Colin wouldn't change a thing because, even if he has regrets, he doesn't want to lose anything of what he has now; them having to tell Sofia that Colin wrote everything with the invisible paint she taught him about... Truth be said, if I think about it hard enough, I remember it perfectly and I can use it to start crying at will.

I only started writing in January & these fanarts I started in April so maybe I’m not the best to answer but I’ll try!!🫶🫶🫶

Short answer: I’m motivated by brainrot & the characters that move into my brain and demand to be drawn/written😭

Longer answer: I’ve always loved and been obsessed with stories & even before I learned fanfic was a thing last year (I live under a rock), I was always creating these crazy stories in my brain. I used to play the sims a lot for example…I would literally delete every premade family & make my own super complex relationships/generational drama and just watch the chaos play out and I always had so much fun coming up with different storylines and thinking about their personalities and how they would probably interact with each other.

I also read like CRAZY !!! 😳 I am a book devourer & am especially drawn to very long books that have beautiful writing and amazing characterizations:

And so, even though I don’t consider myself a very good writer, and I would never even hope to become as good as the authors I read, I think it’s fun to try and capture some feelings and emotions of what it’s like to be human💓 I always try to write the characters with love and care and maybe it’s my obsession to make them almost three-dimensional that keeps my brain rot strong😆 I might not achieve it but I’m having a lot of fun trying…

As for creating so consistently, the writing part isn’t so hard bc once I get an idea in my mind I just want to write it! I don’t get oneshot ideas often but when I do I’m like😳✍️✍️✍️✍️ until it’s over😆 I think coming up with plot/ideas/characterizations takes me a lot longer than actually writing - I barely edit what I post because what I write down is already pretty polished.

For my art, I just love the human body/anatomy/angles etc and I have a lot of fun trying to make the drawings have a lot of movement and that’s kind of what motivates me. Art is also my job & so I’m just used to doing it all the time & these fanarts are a fun way to cool down after I do my “normal” art. The more I draw the more ideas I get, and I like to draw scenes from either my fanfic, or scenes that I think are cute but will probably never happen. But THEN sometimes the “extra” drawings inspire things, like my latest oneshot🫶

If you’re reading this and you’re a writer or artist too & look at it differently I would LOVE to hear what you think!!! Since I’m just starting out with all of this maybe there are better methods😆🫶 for me it’s just a love for stories and wanting to create all the time!!!

How you'd rewrite Dishonored death of the outsider if it was fully fledged game with 10 missions? (like Dishonored or Dishonored 2)

Oooh!! Enrichment in my enclosure - thank you for asking! Thinking about a total rewrite was a great exercise. Fair disclaimer: I haven’t read the books & their canon-status can’t hurt me. To me, the Dishonored games stand out due to their immsim design philosophy, and thinking about some of the industry reasons for DotO’s departure from that, if I could make a standalone game with ~ten levels I would, but with the same budget I’d also happily make two DLCs made slowly over a longer timeframe with greater attention to detail.

Setting & Characters

Billie: What has Billie been doing since she’s returned to Serkonos? Knowing the Dreadful Wale will sink, she’s sold it for scrap & has set up an agency in Lower Aventa. She’s something of a detective/odd-jobs man (& assassin when it suits her). Business is booming, life is good. I think a long-running implication that she's becoming Daud in some ways would make for an interesting subplot.

Karnaca: a city that unfolds. In the first levels, Billie feels like a forgotten woman, a ghost slipped through the cracks, but as levels progress there are hints & references to how her past actions have affected others & shaped the city

Alignments: Witches, gangs, religion, industry; missions for clients who can’t necessarily pay their way. Missions that allow the player to explore/understand Karnaca in a deeper way.

Daud: Billie is unsure if Daud again will bring her any closure. She’s been thinking of him since her time with Emily, and his name keeps popping up.

Deirdre: the charm is a more functional heart, similar to Jessamine, as well as her own character design. Perhaps she doesn’t see Deirdre until she chooses the powers, or until she’s in the void (see next point)

First arc: Finding Daud // Billie’s past

Powers: the Outsider offers Billie powers even though her life is finally, actually good, so she’s pissed off. A choice - she can take them, or play no powers mode.

Breanna Ashworth is this arc’s villain - she wants Delilah back, and knows that Daud has banished her before, wants to know how he did it. Grief & desperation has changed her, and she no longer has her high society veneer. The remnants of the Karnaca coven, now powerless, have stolen from the Overseers to arm themselves to the teeth, and to neutralise Daud’s powers, in addition to black bonecharms.

Billie’s in a race against time against Breanna to find Daud, but by the last level it becomes clear that Breanna *has* found Daud, and has been torturing him for information about the void. Her dynamic with Billie is complicated by their past.

I think betrayal would be an interesting theme, so maybe one of the levels gives you the option to ally yourself with Breanna under false pretences.

Second arc: choosing the fate of the Outsider // Billie’s future

Delilah is the core villain, but she’s obsessed with killing the Outsider so she can take his place, having been violently ripped from her perfect world in her own painting by Breanna (who meant well), & knowing the Empire doesn’t hold her interest... but a perfectly mouldable void & infinite power does take her fancy.

As remorseful Daud is obsessing about preventing Delilah from taking power, Billie’s doing some detective work and learns more about the Outsider (he’s not showing up and monologuing - she’s finding this out herself. A level idea could be a raid on a ‘haunted’ houses where the void is thin)

Delilah succeeds in taking the Outsider's place, leaving the Outsider dead or mortal depending on if you are able to save him. Delilah has split her soul from herself before and she’s very much clever enough to learn the Outsider’s name to render him mortal.

Daud knows he’s dying, though, and it might be an ultimate sacrifice to save both Billie’s life, and the Outsider’s.

So during the final battle, there’s an option to make Daud the Outsider, because Daud wants Billie and the Outsider to have a shot at a normal life, and his life was forfeit in his own mind…

… or, reluctantly accepting the Outsider’s help, Billie finds a way to cut the void’s access to the world, rendering Delilah an all powerful god over a dead & silent world.

Because of the past/present focus of this you could even have levels set in the past - missions with Billie & Daud. Perhaps Billie as POV character, and Daud dropping by the way that Billie did in Knife of Dunwall. That’d be neat.

Hello, yet again me, 0enoth answering some questions someone might have 👽.

Q: What even is a s0lavita and who even are you?

A: I'm the developer of s0lavita, it's a mainly surrealist and horror-ish & psychological rpg where you play as a (doomed) protagonist that meets wacky and weird people, such as "Chrom" "0enoth" "Vita".

You're introduced to Mors as a new caretaker, an observer of sorts, to be entretained by everything that happens. Mors will gladly tell you about herself.

She lives in an apartment complex with past hers' and people of paralel universes, they all have resorted to sell microplastics and computer parts to make a living, will Mors succumb too? Mors will show you around her art gallery, from there, you'll meet the in-game oenoth (that for some very normal reason and no hidden lore that you'll have to discover and put together) that for some reason you're very eager to meet, maybe you have unfinished business with them. Maybe not. Maybe you'll unlock hidden endings. Ah, after that, you'll play as "Chrom" and decide if to save her or not.

from there,you'll have different choices on what to do, that leading to different multiendings, including hints for the hidden ones.

Q: Who is who?

Depending on the player's (YOU!!!!!) decided route, Chrom will grow fond of Mors, or not.

A: Chrom is a pale woman with a hairbun. She's a scientist that has an interest for the sideeffects of sickness and experimenting on people. She is almost always in her home, she isn't fond of going out unless is utterly necessary.

0enoth is a phyisically androgynous male-ish humanoid creature that has half body missing and a "core" in the middle of their chest (s0lavita lore stuff). He tends to be always putting on a smiling persona, he's also Mors' friend and probably Vita's sworn enemy.

There's two more hidden character, one is from a future game, prequel to S0lavita.

I cannot describe who "Vita" is, it's major spoilers lol.

Q: Is there any sensitive imagery or topics?

A: There's only blood, body horror (Oenoth's lower body basically) for imagery, as for topics:
