A/N- I'm so desperate for Leon to come and coo me, comfort me, hug me, kiss me. Everything about DI Leon makes me feel like I'm a babygirl and can't hold back my giggles whenever I see the pictures of him. Even my grandma looks at me like I've finally found the one but little does she know... Just a little something for all of us who also feel the same way as me. Enjoy :)

The late afternoon sunlight streamed through the blinds, casting a golden glow across the living room. Leon was stretched out on the couch, a book resting in his hand, the other arm draped along the backrest. Everything about him seemed calm and at ease, his sharp features softened by the peaceful moment.

You were sitting beside him, legs tucked beneath you, fidgeting slightly. A strange ache of longing sat heavy in your chest, and the need for his closeness became impossible to ignore. Steeling yourself, you scooted closer and, without a word, wrapped your arms around him, nestling your face against his chest.

Leon stiffened briefly, startled by the sudden affection. The book slipped from his fingers onto the coffee table, and his full attention turned to you.

“Hey,” he murmured, his voice gentle and full of concern. His arms came around you instinctively, holding you close. “What’s this, huh? You feeling a little clingy today?”

You didn’t answer, instead nuzzling deeper into his chest. He let out a soft chuckle, the sound warm and soothing, as one hand came up to cradle the back of your head.

“It’s okay,” he cooed, his voice dropping to a low, comforting tone. “You don’t have to say anything, sweetheart. I’ve got you.”

His fingers threaded gently through your hair while his other hand rubbed slow circles on your back. Leaning down, he pressed a soft kiss to your temple, then another to your cheek. “You’re so precious,” he whispered against your skin, his lips brushing tenderly. “You know that?”

Your arms tightened around him, a muffled sound of contentment escaping you. Leon chuckled again, his voice tinged with affection. “Aww, look at you. My little cuddlebug,” he murmured, his tone light and teasing as he kissed your cheek again, lingering a moment longer this time.

“You’re really stealing my heart over here,” he cooed, his voice melting into a tender lull. “But that’s okay. It’s yours to take.”

The warmth of his words wrapped around you as securely as his arms did. The soft kisses and gentle reassurances melted away the ache in your chest, leaving only the steady beat of his heart beneath your ear.

“You can stay like this as long as you want,” he whispered, his lips brushing against the top of your head. “I’m not going anywhere, angel. You’re safe here with me.”

As he continued to hold you, his quiet cooing and the occasional kiss to your cheeks filled the silence, making the moment feel even more intimate. And for the first time that day, you felt completely and utterly at peace.

This is truly stiff competition for the worst case of willful false equivalence we've ever seen.

So, for those not aware: Ongoing embarrassment to gamers and the gaming industry, Mark Kern (former lead on FireFall), has been desperately trying to get Gamergate 2 going on X/Twitter... well after others have given up. If you need to get caught up on Mark, I recommend this video by documentary maker and experienced game developer, Dead Domain:

One of the latest fiascos in this mix has been the comparison of responses to character designs from Hades 2 (Aphrodite, left) and Stellar Blade (protagonist Eve, right). The post isn't by Mark, but is part of the general harassment campaign he's trying to lead.

If you're somehow not familiar with Aphrodite, she's the Ancient Greek goddess of love, lust and hot girl shit. It is absolutely perfect characterization for her to show up to a battle (or anything else) nude but for her hair teasingly covering the intimate parts of her body. But the buried lede here is, you don't fight her in Hades and nothing about Hades 2 indicates she'll fight there either, she just likes the aesthetic and has no reason not to indulge.

Stellar Blade will release on 26 April 2024, so we can't really give an informed discussion of her character. But what we do know is the studio head is the illustrator from Blade & Soul, Eve is described as being a member of "the 7th Airborne Squad" engaged in an "operation to reclaim the planet from the Naytiba", and the promotion material promises "an enthralling narrative filled with mature themes, mystery and revelation. Embrace the relentless pace, with no time to pause between moments where critical, story-changing decisions are made."

It's to be compared to games like Nier: Automata, Devil May Cry 5, Jedi: Fallen Order and Sekiro. And the screenshots look like this:

And yeah, unlike Bayonetta she's not supposed to be an unstoppable force of nature (and fashion) who is immune to self-doubt, she's supposed to be the scrappy underdog last survivor of her team.

Weird they gave her a costume that conveys... the opposite of literally everything they're supposed to be trying to tell you about her.

Hot take: the authors purposefully kept the Animorphs from ever properly taking advantage of a raccoon morph (until Book 52, maybe) because racoon morphs are too OP. Change my mind, tumblr.

I guess I'm not of the mindset that there are animals more OP or UP than others. It feels antithetical to the whole philosophy of Animorphs, which is all about all animals having unexpected advantages and there being no such thing as a "best" animal.

That said. What advantages does raccoon have? Genuine question — all I know about them is a) rabies and b) trash theft.

A Warm "Welcome Home!" (DI!Leon Kennedy x F!Reader)

A/N- Domestic Leon is everything, I swear that man does something to me..

The final exam paper sat on the desk as the professor called time. With shaky hands, you turned it in, your brain foggy and tired, yet a small seed of relief started to grow. Weeks of studying, sleepless nights, and stress had taken their toll, but now it was over. All you wanted was to go home—to the only person who made everything feel better.

Leon.

You imagined his face, that soft smile he reserved just for you, the way he’d hug you like you were the only thing that mattered. It was that thought that carried you through the bus ride home, the cold seeping into your skin as snow began to fall lightly. The world seemed to celebrate the year's end while all you could focus on was your exhaustion—and him.

When you finally reached the front door of your shared apartment, the warmth from inside radiated out even before you stepped in. The soft glow of fairy lights spilled into the hallway, along with the unmistakable aroma of your favorite meal cooking.

Your heart swelled, and for the first time that day, a smile tugged at your lips. Pushing open the door, you were greeted by a scene that could have been pulled from a dream. The apartment was bathed in soft, warm light, with small decorations hung meticulously—little touches you knew Leon had added just for you.

In the center of the living room stood a vase with your favorite flowers, their petals fresh and vibrant despite the winter chill. You stepped in, kicking off your shoes and dropping your bag by the door, and called out softly, “Leon?”

“In the kitchen, baby!” his voice replied, calm and warm, as if he hadn’t been anxiously glancing at the clock every few minutes waiting for you.

You followed the sound, finding him standing by the stove. His hair was slightly tousled, his sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and the apron he wore made your heart flutter. He turned as you entered, his eyes immediately softening as they met yours.

“Hey, sweetheart,” he said, walking over and pulling you into a gentle hug. “You look like you’ve been through hell.”

You chuckled weakly, burying your face in his chest. “Feels like it too. I’m so tired.”

“Well, you’re done now,” he murmured, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “And tonight, I’m taking care of everything. You just sit back and relax, okay?”

Tears pricked at your eyes as he guided you to the couch, draping a soft blanket over you. The coffee table held two glasses of sparkling cider and a small plate of appetizers he’d set out for you to snack on before dinner.

As you sat, watching him work with ease and care, you couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed—not by stress this time, but by gratitude.

“You didn’t have to do all this, Leon,” you said softly, your voice thick with emotion.

He glanced over his shoulder, giving you that signature half-smile. “Of course, I did. You deserve it—and more.”

Later, when dinner was ready, he sat beside you on the couch as you both ate, talking about everything and nothing. Midnight crept closer, and you realized you’d spent the entire evening feeling nothing but joy.

As the clock struck twelve, Leon pulled you close, his hand cupping your cheek as he leaned in to kiss you deeply, his lips lingering on yours as fireworks exploded faintly in the distance.

“Happy New Year, little one” he whispered, his forehead resting against yours.

“Happy New Year,” you replied, knowing that as long as you had him, every year would be better than the last.

For the past few years, Hunter Greene has been saving money for his transition. But his dreams are dashed just as he approaches the finish line, when the powers that be block the biotech company that he was going to transition with. All hope is not lost however, as his manager, a robot named Aster, has been brewing something behind the scenes for quite a while now . . .

Old Haunts is a choose your own adventure style visual novel set in an alternate, cyberpunk-esque present. There are a total of six different endings, each route taking about 3-4 hours to play through, depending on how fast you read. I wanted to do multiple things with this project. Including commenting on the current wave of transphobia in our society and also try my hand at making a proper choose your own adventure style game. Something that didn't boil down to 'do you want to be a good person and rescue the puppy? or do you want to be a bad person and murder the puppy?'.
