Notre Dame'in Kamburu - Victor Hugo (kitap yorumu) Bir arkadaşımın tavsiyesi ve bir kaç kitao sayfasında tavsiye edilince okumaya karar verdim📖. Bu kadar güzel bir eser olduğunu, sular seller gibi okuyacağımı hiç bilmezdim 🤔 bir değil birçok konuya ve kişiye, ülkenin yaşadığı döneme, şartlarına, insanların kültür durumuna ve adalet anlayışını gözler önüne seren muhteşem bir eser. Yer yer şaşırdım, üzüldüm, düşündüm, her tür duyguyu bir arada yaşadım 😱 3. Bölümde şehri anlatan yazılarda(ne nerededir hangi tarafta kilise vb. Yapı bulunur, şehrin krokisini anlatmış ) birazcık sıkıldım ama kitabın yazıldığı dönem ve sonrası için muhteşem bir düşünce🙂 konusunu anlatmaya kalkarsam tüyo verebilirim o yüzden hiç değinmeyeceğim📚 kitabın çevirisi muhteşem, öyle güzel ki okurken ayrı bir tat aldım. Muntazam bir çeviri. 26th February 1802, birth of the French poet, novelist, and dramatist of the Romantic movement Victor Hugo, best known for his novel Notre-Dame de Paris (The Hunchback of Notre-Dame), and Les Misérables. Hugo is considered to be one of the greatest and best-known French writers. Notre-Dame de Paris, published in 1831, was instrumental in a Gothic revialist movement in Paris, and the saving and restoration of Parisian Medieval buildings. The novel follows Hugo’s previous attempts to highlight Gothic architecture with his paper ‘Guerre aux Démolisseurs’ (War to the Demolishers). Notre-Dame de Paris follows these themes in its detailed descriptions of Notre Dame and Paris in the period of 1482, surrounding these architectural proclamations within the story of Quasimodo and his love for the gypsy Esmeralda. The book's success did eventually lead to an historical preservation movement and Gothic revival architecture, including major renovations to Notre Dame. These renovations were still in place upto the fire in Notre Dame that occured last year, which destroyed the roof and the spire, but the building was saved. Evidence of the existence of an historical figure based on Quasimodo, was discovered in the memoirs of Henry Sibson, a 19th century British sculptor who was working at the Cathedral in the 1820’s. Sibson claimed that one of the stone masons that worked alongside him was a hunchback.
