the difference in phoebe and prue's reaction to daddy coming home....................it's so heartbreaking because they both have severe abandonment/attachment issues but they present so differently. prue was old enough to remember having a mother and father who loved her--and she was old enough to remember losing them. her mother's death, and then her father's betrayal after that when he left rather than fighting for her or her sisters.
she is angry, because her mother was stolen from her and her father chose to leave, and she hates him for it, even if deep down she loves and misses him and wants to be able to trust him again.
for phoebe, on the other hand, it's a chance for getting something she never had to begin with--she was too young to form true memories of either of her parents before she lost them, and so what she has is this hole in her life she's been desperate to fill. the way her face falls when victor calls her piper at first is so painful because she's like 22 and experiencing disappointment from her father for the first time. she wanted to believe he needed to see and know her just as badly, and him not recognizing her (despite not having seen her since she was a baby) is a blow that is only further compounded by having a vision of him seemingly betraying her and her sisters.
yet even then, she's eager to find an alternate explanation. to believe that her father wants to be in her life. to accept and love him, while prue is so incredibly reluctant because she knows what it's like to lose her father and she refuses to let herself go through that crushing disappointment again.
phoebe reacts to her issues with abandonment by clinging tightly and desperately to everything and everyone around her. prue reacts by trying to shut everything else out and focus on what she can control so she won't be hurt. they mirror each other and i think part of why they have such a hard time getting along is that they are so similar and neither of them wants to admit it.

The ask prompts ask number who knows what I’ve already lost count:
victor and henry sr bonding as mortals in a magical family
Pairing: Victor Bennett & Henry Mitchell
Background Pairing: Paige Matthews/Henry Mitchell, Victor Bennett & Paige Matthews
Walking into the living room, Victor immediately realized what the problem was. Henry had his face buried in his hands and was perfectly still, a posture that Victor more than recognized from his early years.
Settling into the armchair opposite of his son-in-law, Victor waited. Henry finally looked up, something wild in his eyes.
"I traveled to the future."
Okay, so that one wasn't exactly in Victor's expertise. He'd seen the effects of time travel a few times: a time loop tormenting his daughter, his grandson making a desperate bid to save his family and world, and even his dead ex-wife visiting him. He'd never once gotten caught in any of that himself, however, which was probably preferable. While his daughters and grandchildren had (would?) knew the dangers of meddling in time, Victor had a list of regrets that he knew he'd never be able to resist fixing if given the opportunity. Being there for his daughters. Sparing them the trauma of demons preying on their trust and betraying them. Finding Paige two decades earlier. Saving Patty and Prue from dying so young.
Unaware of Victor's thoughts, Henry continued, "Paige and I were talking about raising kids with magic, and Wyatt-"
"Sent you to the future to see what it'd be like," Victor finished. Piper had warned him about being careful what he said in front of his oldest grandson until Wyatt was old enough to better understand his powers. He hadn't gotten the full details of the problems that'd caused, but he knew it'd happened more than once.
Henry nodded and rasped out, "We had twins. Charlotte and Penny. One of them moved all of our living furniture with her mind. The other one accidentally cheated on her science test by seeing the answers in a vision."
Henry buried his face in his hands again and mumbled, "I don't know how to do this."
Victor shuffled over and patted Henry on the back. "Magic is... not easy to deal with. You'll never fully understand it and never fully be a part of this world. Some people can handle that. Some people can't."
If he'd known before he'd married Patty, he doesn't know if he'd had gone through with it. Magic was... terrifying. He had no way of protecting his family, could only watch and hope that they'd be able to save themselves. But life without his girls, even with magic, was one that he didn't want to imagine.
"I love Paige," Henry argued, lifting his head. "It's not just the magic. I'm not- I grew up in the system, I don't-"
That was something that he had more experience with. Well. More of a "what not to do" type of experience. "Parenting is hard. Parenting witches is even harder, especially as a mortal. Now, I didn't do that great of a job of it, but you're not the person I was. More than anything, the thing is being there. You'll make mistakes. There's no getting around it, but being there and trying to fix them are the most important part of being a parent. And from what my girls have told me, including Paige, you're not the type to run when it gets hard, Henry."
Henry had a faint smile as he met Victor's gaze. "Not when it comes to Paige. I love her."
"Is that so?" Paige leaned against the doorway as both men turned to look at her. She smiled, eyes soft. "Good thing I love you, too."
She held her hand out to her husband. "Wyatt wanted to apologize for the magical journey, and I think Phoebe wanted to pry some future information out of you."
Henry rose and took her head with a wry shake of his head. "I don't know if that's how it works."
"I'll distract her for you two," Victor promised. He needed to go find his third daughter anyways, find out about this Coop fellow.

Funniest Charmed moment:
Victor visiting Piper only to find out that his daughter is heavily pregnant with a baby she conceived with her ex while he was dying, and is currently walking around as a 22 year old.

If it's true that Victor and Gram's fought because he wanted the girls to grow up mortal and he left because she said he couldn't parent witches. Just for her to turn around and bind their powers a couple years later and intend to have them bound even as adult women. Then damn.
I know Penny's story is that she's been hurt and scorned by men to become bitter af but hello? That's a little more than following that track.

Day 5 of #Prueweek2024 - Favourite Family Prue Relationship
Ngl, this is the most difficult part of #prueweek2024 for me. All the family dynamics and how they influenced Prue to become the person she was are dear to me.
I find it fascinating to think about how Penny instilled the responsibility of taking care of her sisters in Prue, so she could be sure that there was a strong-willed, go-getter demon fighter witch as the head of the family, much like Penny herself.
I also like to think about how Patty (and her death) had an influence on Prue's ability to express love to her family, friends and lovers.
And I can talk forever about how Victor influenced Prue's behaviour towards potential love interests (her hyperindependence, her need for stability and more importantly, reliablity in her partners, the way she takes steps back from any potential relationship the moment they seem untrustworthy like Andy with his ex wife and his reaction to her confession).
And last but not least, her sisters, Piper and Phoebe. Piper is Prue's rock, much more than Prue is Piper's. She is her confidante, the shoulder she leans and cries on when everything, all the (self-imposed) responsibilities become too much. And Phoebe is the person who challenges and inspires her. She is equally strong-willed and headstrong as Prue, but more unafraid to take what she wants, something Prue both envies and admires her for.
There's definitely something to be said about all family dynamics having the potential to be fan favourites. My favourite is and always will be
Prue x family.

I don't understand why charmed tried to push patty having an affair on us when we say that patty and victor were over way before phoebe was thought of. It feels like a way to make victor more sympathetic and like a victim along with penny driving him away. Nobody would've liked victor if they kept the victor from season 1 and didn't reshape him

1x03 - Thank You For Not Morphing
Stubbornly rating Charmed secondary characters as I rewatch.
Aw, man, this episode was so bad. The bad guys were so unbelievably incompetent. The acting was awful all around. Please be better, Charmed, I'm begging you.
Andy Trudeau. 5/10. He was almost a normal person in this one. Points added for dropping off Prue when he felt she needed to confront her father, no questions asked. It's almost as if he wants me to forget that he's a stalker.
Marshall, Fritz, and Cinda. 1/10. I had to give them 1 point because they bought the house. It couldn't have been cheap. Still, I can't believe these antagonists are all so frakking stupid. Jeremy and Javna were both bad, but this is completely another level of incompetence. It's like you can be a demon or a warlock only if you you pass a stupidity test and you have a death wish.
Victor Bennet. 3/10, mostly because of the general creepiness. I could have accepted the storyline with the father, and I did appreciate the ending of the episode to some degree, but he felt a bit yucky. Just... stay away.
Leo Wyatt. ?/10. I am looking respectfully, and waiting.

Meeting you for the first time
Billy
Tumblr media
The moment he saw you his long time crush on Petra was gone.
If you're a rat:
It was your first day and it wasn't going well. People were giving you looks and you didn't fit in anywhere. You wanted to make some friends, since you're kinda friendly person despite your great fighting skills, but you were too scared to approach anyone. Didn't help the fact that you didn't have intimidating looks.
That changed when you met Billly. He was the first who offered you a warm smile and the only one who came up to you.
If you're a legacy:
Definitely admires you from afar while others rats tease him bout it.
100% wouldn't come up to you, in fear that you're as mean as your group/gang (what they called? I forgot)
That's why he's in shock, staring at you with wide eyes and open mouth, thinking your joking, when you come up to him and want to be friends
Marcus
Tumblr media
Marcus was new to kd
If you're a rat:
He met you on the rooftop when Billly brought him there.
His first thought was that you are beautiful and he hoped that you could be friends
Well since you liked him tho, you decided to get to know him better, not caring what others would think
You liked to hangout with him. Both of you felt comfortable with each other
If you're a legacy:
He saw you in cafeteria, while Billy was explaining him about school
Billy noticed him staring at you and warned him to stay away from you since you were know as very cold and powerful. On top of that you were in a soto vatos group/gang?
Not gonna lie, Marcus was scared of you
So he was very surprised when you stood up for him when Chico was bullying him. Before he could thank you, you were already gone
You only stared talking in karate class, were you two were put together
After that you started to become friends, and he got to see your other side, turns out you're not as scary as people make you, you're a great person, and Marcus was the first person to discover it
Lex
Tumblr media
You're one of the deadliest student no matter If your a rat or legacie
If you're a rat:
I think that he usually doesn't even notice new people, but you catched his eyes when you got in fight on your first day
What surprised him was that, that being a rat you were brave enough to stand up for yourself, win a fight and put others in their place
Not to mention Lex definitely thought you are very hot
He wanted to introduce himself, but while he was thinking of a cool way to do it, you beat him to it, by coming straight up to him
That's when you two become friends. Your brutal but funny personality was something he liked very much about you
If you're a legacy:
No one dares to mess with you
You are a part of kuroki legacy and even better than Saya at fighting
Lex met you while you were setting up prank. Of course he knew who you are, but he never talked, let alone been alone in one room with you
He was amazed when he found out you one of the most powerful person In school were the one who set up all the pranks and never got caught (well till the moment Lex caught you)
From that day you became friends with Lex and others rats, not caring that your reputation might be ruined, since you could protect yourself perfectly fine, plus you got friends that actually care about you
_________________________________________
Okay, so it's quite messy I'm not sure if I like it. Also my English is not very good, I noticed I use the same words a lot.
It my not be very accurate but that's what I imagine
Also can request something if you want to

What if William made MC forget about him completely?
If you wanna skip the introduction you can scroll down to the next paragraph. This is my first post every here and my first fanfiction. This is from the dating game ikemen villains that just released to the US recently and I'm very excited. I've just started the game and I'm currently on chapter 6 on my William Rex route. (I'd be further but I'm broke :')) Even so, i already have angst prepared. Keep in mind none of this is cannon what so ever and everything can and will be inaccurate to the game timeline. Also I will be using my mc's name rather than the in game name. If people like it a lot and want a y/n version of the fanfic I will gladly make another. If you want a proper, more brushed up version of the fanfic, you can find it on AO3 (once i get my account that is) Anyway, enough talk. Lets get into it! Warning: grammatical errors
It was beautiful day in London which was quite rare considering how gloomy the city could be. Belle was sitting on a bench in a park reading her rendition of Lewis Carrol's "Alice in Wonderland" that had released a few decades ago. She was dressed in a simple yet fine dress of browns and greys, befitting of the current fashion period, complementing her warm caramel skin. Her ebony hair was picked up in a beautiful bun with a few strands of hair gently arranged. She looked far more elegant than compared to a few years ago when she was just a letter carrier, barely making it by.
She enjoyed reading her book along with hearing the sounds of the birds chirping, the carriages rolling by, and the few bits of laughter and giggling of children off in the distance. But all of that was interrupted when she heard one important voice call out to her. "Isabelle!" the man shouted, catching up to her. She looked up and smiled seeing who it was. She closed her book and got up from the bench and approached him. She felt warm and fuzzy just as much as she did when she first laid her eyes on him. Just as handsome as he ever was. He was the one man that could make her feel like she was in the stars above. The love of her life. Her dearest and darling husband........ Bryan Bennett.
When she finally approached him, she gave him a deep and loving kiss and he returned it with the same amount of tenderness. "I thought I had lost you there for a moment." he said with a smile. "Oh, and i brought you these." He then handed Belle a bouquet of flowers made from an assortment of red, pink, and yellow carnations, daffodils, butterfly weed, hyssop's and forget-me-not's. "Oh, these are beautiful! Thank you Bryan." Belle said as she gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek. "Come my dear. Lets not be late for the play." He said as he offered his arm to her. Belle gladly accepted as they made their way out of the park.
As they left the park, Belles eyes caught upon a man that made her blood run cold. William Rex. The last she saw of him, he invited her to one of his social gatherings where he made here feel welcomed at first but was quickly cornered by him. He would've done who knows what had it not been for her now husband. On one hand, thanks to him, the two of them were able to meet and fall in love. Then again, she shutters from the thought of that memory. As they walked by, he gave a smile. For what, she was unsure. He then walked away to who knows where. Every time she saw him, she felt unease and nervous around him. Yet at the same time, deep inside of her, a small part of her felt sad every time she saw him. Why, she was not sure. She payed no mind and walked with her husband to the theater.
*Flashback*
"No! I'm not leaving!" Belle yelled. "Belle please, your month is over and your free to go back to your normal life. This isn't a place you want to remain in" William urged her, sounding completely different from when they first met. "I know and I don't care! I can't.... I can't leave you." she whisperd. "Belle..." he said heartbroken. "You once told me," she started "that I was the only person who had the power to voice how my heart feels. I always ignored it, fearing of bothering others or getting my heart broken. But now I'm listening to what you said and telling you I love you. I did ever since I bumped into you in one of my deliveries. Yes, I was scared when I first saw you kill that man. But you've shown me there's more to you than that. You're kind and sweet and always care about how I or others feel. You commit crimes but you do it for good and the good of others. and no matter how much you or others may call you a villain, your not. You're a hero." "Belle, please..." William pleaded. "Let me stay with you William. Please... I love you..." Belle begged. "I......." he had the words stuck in his throat. He reached out his hand, about to cup her face. His hands were shaking as he could barely keep his composure. ".......I'm sorry." He said and he placed his outstretched hand on her shoulder. "What are you-" "SLEEP." He commanded. She could feel his power taking over. She tried her hardest to resist, but nothing was powerful enough to break Williams command. As she was about to collapse, He caught her and swiftly carried her bridal style. He always hated using his power, and the last person he ever wanted to use it on was Belle. But he had no choice.
***
"You used your power on her?!" Victor yelled. "I know, I shouldn't have. But there was no other choice." William explained. "William, I understand that you love her very much, but this is much farther than you normal prefer to go. I mean, forcing her to stay-" "She wanted to stay." William interrupted. "I... I couldn't let her. I went too far and now she wants to get caught up in this world we live in. We're cursed Victor. One day we'll meet a horrible end. And I...... I cant do that to Belle. I can't leave her heartbroken and miserable after I die." William said as a single tear began to roll down his cheek. "My god..." Victor exclaimed. "You really fell hard for this one, haven't you?" William gave a soft, sad nod.
Victor sighed "I did warn her not to get attached to anyone in the crown.... So, how do you propose we fix this dilemma?" William rummaged through his coat and grabbed a very special book that belonged to Belle. "You don't mean-" Victor gasped. "Belle has the fairy tale keepers blessing. And that blessing is imbued in this book." William explained. "The power to write ones fate." Victor breathed "Yes. The power has only ever been to record the events of history and fairy tales. Setting them all in stone. But what if we can change the story?" William suggested. "No! That is too risky!" Victor yelled. "You don't know what that can do! How would you even-?!" "I know the exact moment to change." William said, turning to the page of their first date. When he invited her to one of his special tea parties and introduced her to Bryan Bennett.
She was a big fan of his journalism and activism but she was to nervous to speak to him. So William cornered her to all wall to catch Bryan's attention. She was in no danger what so ever. He simply played the part of the villain and led her to her knight in shinning armor. She quickly realized this and was more flustered than she was angry.
Victor frowned. "She holds this memory dear to her. You know that, right?" William sighed. "I know. But this is the only way" William said as he grabbed the nearest pen. "....... You do realize you'll forever be the villain her story?" Victor warned. William froze by then, turned to him and gave him a melancholy smile. "... When have we ever not been the villain?" With that final remark, he took his pen and erased nearly everything. Every encounter, every emotion, every tender moment between the two. He erased there the crown and how she met them. He erased their final days together. All he left, was that one night together and changed it so that he could, in now way, redeemable. Every scratch of those beautiful words she wrote about him was like a dagger to his heart. It broke him to erase the moments they had. But there was no other way to protect her. He had to do it....
*present*
As William was on a walk for his next mission, he stopped and saw Belle happy with her husband Bennett. He smiled at the two sadly. Everything before still happened. Belle spent a month with the crown, her and William still had their dates and they still fell in love. The only difference was that Belle had no recollection of their time together or the crown. For all she knew, William was a cruel and manipulative man. The thought stung him. He never thought he would feel so horrible about being seen as a villain until she came along. No matter what she may think, he would always love her. As the couple walked out of the park, Belle caught a glimpse of William. He gave her a soft smile and walked away. Not wanting to ruin her happily ever after.
