I honestly don't understand how this NDA-thing works in the US. Maybe there are lawyers among your followers who can elaborate?
So what if a person signed a NDA if their partner outright violated consent and raped them? We are not talking about non-disclosure of some personal AH's information by this point that his partners could have come across during their relationship (which is what NDA is generally about, right?).
AH outright raped these people. Everything we see in these victims' confessions screenshots goes far beyond lawful interactions. They say AH raped them but they're silenced by an NDA. Does NDA cancel laws and allow to do criminal things to people as long as their voices are restrained by NDA? It cannot be so, can it? But something tells me this is what AH and his lawyers made the victims believe. I hope someone filed another case against this piece of shit. But I'm afraid he's gonna hide his ass in the rehab indefinitely now.
Yes, it seems that these victims believe the NDAs to be airtight and that speaking out will put them in violation. Armie wasn't stupid by choosing the victims he did- ie, those outside the HW bubble. It's clear they don't understand their legal rights, which makes me so sad and angry and frustrated. An NDA is not enforceable for acts that are against the law. He knew that. We heard him say they were all but worthless, but he used them to his advantage now it seems.
The cold hard truth is that most NDAs do not hold up in court
The most common areas where non-disclosure agreements are determined to be unenforceable are where they are not limited in duration, or scope. Illegality: Courts will refuse to enforce a contract where the underlying purpose is against the law.

Father or not... you closed fist and broke a 15 year old’s nose in the lobby of a hotel but what disgusts me is that the child’s mother isn’t doing anything to protect her child from this man who broke her kid’s nose!! No contact order means protecting your kid from your spouse

Photos from the www.DorisTate.com (now ican-foundation) Victim's Rights website.
"On May 12th, 1992, the 'Doris Tate Crime Victims Bureau' was created and named in her honor at a ceremony in Sacramento, which she attended with her daughters Debra and Patti. It was to be her last public appearance. Mrs. Tate passed away of brain cancer on July 10, 1992. The DTCVB had commissioned a painting of Doris Tate and it hung on the walls of their office for nine years. It was then given as a gift to Debra in 2001.
The Doris Tate Crime Victims Bureau, is a statewide organization active in making changes through the legislature and the criminal justice system."—Sharon Tate.net

The long stretch from indictment to sentencing was an unnecessary and tortuous process for the family. It's demeaning. . . You can't schedule your life. Minor things are difficult. The anxiety is amazing at each one of those hearings. I'm baffled by repeated delays in the trial: attorneys going on vacations, the public defender's office declaring a never-explained conflict of interest, a DNA expert being fired by the defense shortly before the original trial date.
