A few words? With her? Vicki had never been a very...liked girl. Most of the other kids thought she was strange and avoided her like the plague. As a child, people often picked on her to the degree that Billy had to get involved to physically pull them off of her. Sidney seemed like she was pretty well-liked, she had a large group of friends and no one had anything negative to say about her. People didn't whisper and laugh under their breath when she walked by. Maybe it was just because Billy had taken some kind of interest in her? He'd said something about asking her out, hadn't he? She wished she'd been paying more attention that night.

"Oh --", she finally speaks after near a full minute of silence. "Sorry, I was --" her mouth dries up as she lacks an explanation and she shakes her head. "What's up?"
