honestly i have this hc that after team flash finds out about snart’s death, cisco contacts lisa ( or tries to ) bc he doesn’t know if anyone told her or not and he knows what its like to lose a sibling and not have any way to stop it

“hey, cisco.” it’s a pretty chipper greeting, all things considered. the cortex is empty, which isn’t that surprising. harry is off doing his own thing, caitlin is with jay somewhere and iris is at work. which leaves him and cisco in the cortex alone. which is pretty ideal, actually. as he walks past cisco, his hands drop to cisco’s shoulders and he gives them a firm squeeze. “sleep well?”

It seems like forever since she last spoke with Cisco. A soft kiss, a fleeting smile, and she’d ridden off into the sunset. Like some old western, but modernized in gold and leather. 

She’d kept a low profile. Steering clear of Central City in her heists. But she still came around now and again, hoping she’d run into her brother. Len and Mick had taken on a job that had not only taken them out of town... but out of time. Lisa had gotten used to the radio silence of communication - Len must be too busy, or maybe he doesn’t get cell service where ever he was. She’d always known there would be times that she couldn’t get a hold of him, but there was that reassurance he was only ever a phone call away. But even those messages were left empty, never returned. 

So it was a surprise to see Cisco’s name on her call display. Smart man... tracking down a new phone number for her. 

“You’re lucky I’m in town, Cisco...” Lisa smiled, listening to his voice on the other end of the line. “Why don’t we meet at Cold Cones?” It was a hot summer day, and she wasn’t feeling coffee at Jitters. Besides, she was feeling a little nostalgic. 

Lenny always took her here when she was a kid, taking her out of the house, away from Lewis’s drunken shouts. // @vibeco
