She smiled as she moved towards him, she'd set up a small sit down area when she'd sequestered herself in the lab a few days ago, just in case she did take small food breaks. "We can eat over here" she said as she motioned for him to follow her towards the small round table that was near the window of the lab. There wasn't much to see currently as it was dark, but it was a nice view in the day.

tommy smirked ❝well twist my arm❞ he teased because he had brought food for himself, hoping she'd want company. after leaving star city, he was sure he was making a mistake not fighting for laurel, the first women he'd ever love, but working with team flash, was.. well it made him feel as if for the first time he was happy and actually had a purpose. caitlin was a huge part of that

Most people still had such awful associations with it, it was why it was a forbidden area for the public, especially since they didn't need to see what had been done with it. She was glad that they had only wandered into the labs that they used as back ups and for the "normal lab" work. They had a few patents going that were going to help keep the museum open longer, it would help the building get some usage and bring in extra revenue that would help in their attempt to hide the flash headquarters above even more efficiently. "Then you wandered the wrong way, the particle accelerator is actually in the basement of the building, quite a few floors down and only accessible by those who have clearance"

Lips curved into a pout as he looked around the unfamiliar room. The tour had gotten a tad boring and he had wanted to explore on his own. What he hadn’t expected was to be caught by lab personnel. Crap! “I am… soooo sorry. Didn’t mean to disturb you. I was just…” He attempted to lie, but she seemed too nice for that. “...trying to take a peek at the particle accelerator —or rather whatever’s left of it now. I know.” He gently slapped his hand before sharing a small smile with the woman. “Bad boy.”

She was surprised to find Tommy standing there, she had certainly been expecting either Cisco or Barry as they had been taking turns for the better part of three hours to coax her to leave. "I was" she defended, she would have just taken a break when she'd finish. "Fine fine" she said, because the food did smell appealing, especially when you considered she'd been living on snacks. "Will you join me?"

tommy held up the bag he had with him and added ❝i know you better than that cait, if you were gonna take a break when hell froze over.❞ he teased ❝lucky for you, i thought a head, got you your favorite nice and hot, so if you don't eat this now, it will be gross and cold❞ he tried to push the smell to tease her to actually take a break. he had come to central city to escape all the drama with laurel and oliver, and he was enjoying his time with caitlin. probably more than he should.

She rubbed at her eyes for a moment as she turned off the computer, she needed a break because all of the information was beginning to just blur. She'd been working on this particular article for the better part of two days and despite the various offers she'd received from her friends, she had only allowed herself a few breaks. "I promise I'm taking another break now!" she called out, as she heard the door open to her lab.

"I don't think.." she trailed off as she realized that the person who was approaching was not Cisco or any of the other members of Team Flash. "Can I help you?" there was of course that slight twinge of worry that always seemed to form when a stranger found themselves in the lab, but given the fact that they were still doing museum tours, sometimes the visitors ended up in the still working parts of the lab that weren't attached to team flash headquarters.
