So yesterday I spent a bunch of time recreating D&D characters in BG3 (after having downloaded a bunch of cc mods)

FYI I wasn't paying attention & didn't actually change Evie's stats/proficiencies/etc. to mimic her actual character sheet before taking the screenshot, but everyone else's info is as close to "canon" as I could get them.

1) Brenworne Flashwing - High Elf, Fighter (Eldritch Knight), Noble. I used her for a campaign in college that only had a couple sessions. One of my ironic characters (a high elf from a noble family but she slings around a big axe & hates nobility). I'd like to reuse her one day.

2) Carla - Hill Dwarf, Bard (College of Lore), Entertainer. Used in a completed campaign with friends from high school! She originally didn't have a beard but partway through the campaign I was like "she only shaves once it starts getting annoying to deal with" so she ended up with a bit of a beard.

3) Ebony Way - Tiefling, Fighter. Used in a two-shot modern campaign held over Roll20! Here she doesn't really look very close to "canon" at all but I originally designed her on Hero Forge. Another ironic character (tiefling fighter but she's sweet & kind & wears pastel clothes).

4) Evie - Changeling (usually disguised as human), Sorcerer (Death Touched), Haunted One. Also used in a two-shot campaign with college friends! And also another ironic character (Death Touched & Haunted but wears a pretty white dress and make her hair pink).

5) Isil - Half-Elf (half human, half high elf), Sorcerer (Draconic Bloodline - Black)/Rogue (Thief), Charlatan. Not yet used & one of the rare characters that actually has a fair bit of backstory already. Also her scales usually only look like purple makeup & become black scales when she's using magic. No particular campaign preference, she's just kind of a fugitive & a mercenary.

6) Kallisto - Tiefling, Druid (Circle of Stars)/Rogue (Swashbuckler), Sailor (Pirate). The newest edition to my roster & not yet used! She also has a fair bit of backstory; ideally I'd like to use her in a campaign that starts with all the player characters having amnesia since that's where my backstory for her ends, but I can always adjust.

7) Qelira - Water Genasi, Ranger, Charlatan. Used in one campaign in college that only had like one or two sessions, then reused for another campaign that was technically also a redo of another more modern campaign. Qelira is my ADHD gremlin child & I'd like to use her again someday

8) Singe - Tiefling, Warlock. Not yet used. Her patron is a celestial being that actually made a pact with Singe's mother while she was pregnant with her. She died in childbirth & the patron raised Singe themself. I'm not sure how exactly I would fit her into a campaign, as I'm not sure why she would leave her patron. Something to discuss with the DM should I end up in a campaign that I'd like to use her for.

9) Vhinn Do'mtor - Air Genasi (child of a drow and a djinn), Rogue (Thief)/Sorcerer (Shadow Magic), Urban Bounty Hunter. Used in a campaign in college that fizzled out in "season 2". Part of me wants to reuse her one day, but I also don't think I could; she's kinda attached to that particular world in my mind. I did, however, make an alternate version of her where her mother never left the Underdark & thus Vhinn was born full drow (and named Vhana for the sake of differentiation). Her mother, Chalnitra, never liked drow society or Lolth & raised her child in the hopes that she might one day leave. Vhana, despite becoming a Cleric of Lolth (she is still a shadow magic Sorcerer as well, she gets that from her mother regardless of who her father was), does leave the Underdark. I imagine there would be some tension between her & other part members, & she wouldn't blame them for not trusting her. Regardless, who knows how long she can keep calling on Lolth's power before the goddess rejects her for turning her back on everything the drow stand for...

I had wanted to release my hair mod on Nexus yesterday... but then the patch happened. And I'm probably waiting a couple days before updating, so releasing the hair mod will have to wait...

In the meantime, I started on another hair! This is based on my sona, The Horologian. I originally was trying to go for a soft gradient but was having a hard time getting that. I played around with some settings, & even though this isn't what I was going for, I think it looks better than what I imagined so I'm keeping it.

It was the stormy season, so we weren't able to go outside much, but finally the clouds cleared up and we spent all day looking at what the merchants brought from around the world and trying new spices from vendors."

"Nothing really happened besides that, but I didn't often get to spend time with my mother alone without duties knocking on the door... I can still hear the merchants yelling at each other through the market, lizards sagging the branches so low it was a miracle they didn't break. It's the first thing I think of when I remember her."

This character wears glasses. He has short black hair, with bangs framing his face and styled in the "comma" hairstyle. His nails are painted black. He is wearing a black coat that has 3 buttons and it has white hearts near the end of the sleeves. He is also wearing a plain business white shirt, slightly unbuttoned revealing a bit of his chest. His pants are black, with white stripes and is wearing a belt as well. He is wearing black oxford shoes. He also has bunny ears.

so if you've noticed he does not have a name... mainly because i am bad at coming up with names but also... like he's pretty much based on me HJRHJGFG so i feel like it's kinda useless to come up with a name. i pretty much just designed him based on what i like to wear or would like to wear someday lol. speaking of which... i did have a name but it's like... that feels like a name reserved for an OC in the Future

not very good at making OCs anyways (well actually i have FF14 OCs that i'd like to refine someday and we don't talk about my silly anime OCs back when i was younger) but the silly name i gave him was "VHana" which is really funny because it's a little too close to VFlower the vocaloid. that being said maybe i'll come up with a proper name someday.

another aspect of challenging myself in regards to modeling is designing! not very good at it but it was fun to try at least. but I literally just looked at some fashion blogs and tried to find what I like. that coat he's wearing is based off of this coat and i had to think long and hard about how i would style that coat irl

for this character sheet, i've basically referenced off of the design sheets for F7D, the way the artists set them up are very clean. also the renders were made in blender and i don't think i'll be making this model ready for MMD anytime soon. plus i want to challenge myself to try and use blender more in terms of rendering. while making this model, i actually ended up experimenting with the compositing feature and i ended up getting a really cool result... would like to try it out some more in the future but it was fun learning and practicing ^^

Some facts about Vhana. Shoutout to @stainedcarmine for pointing out a few things I hadn’t thought of when considering this particular reincarnation verse.

Is very organized despite having grown up in a poverty-ridden area. Inherited this from Jihxo’hn, which at first was only a minor influence in the way she placed things and analyzed stuff. Now it’s purely obsessive, and it shows in her office space where she has everything from old holopads to awards stored or lined up in accordance to size/date received/weight.

Remembers parts of her life as Jihxo’hn, primarily in regards to locations, contacts, company names, with relationships and people pertaining to them being the hardest to discern among the memories that have surfaced. Eventually she hopes to connect the dots with everything and learn about who exactly she was in her past life.

Works as a private investigator on an interspace level. Is highly dedicated to her work and ensuring that all of the information her clients want is in their hands. As such, she doesn’t veer off the beaten path when working cases, giving the cold shoulder to those who aren’t related to her job. Uses credit to afford her trips across the universe, with payments made in percentile increments to prevent her debt from wracking up in exorbitant amounts.

Her mother is dead, while her father and little sister are estranged from her. They both pursue dangerous lifestyles whereas she prefers skirting the line of dangerous and safe.

Now and then she’ll moonlight as a hired hand, but doesn’t like the nitty-gritty nature of the work that she’s supposed to do. Only when she’s desperate. Doesn’t like to dirty her hands with the blood of others.

When it comes to food, she enjoys meals that have a crunchy texture to ‘em. To that end her favorite meals consist largely of fried food, with some sporting crustaceans that aren’t even cooked.

Lastly, she shies away from the limelight, as she doesn’t want to be in the center of any conflicts. Ironic given the nature of her work, but so far she’s managed to stay out of trouble despite the potential of being put in compromising situations.
