kaede she wants to be big spoon. no she wants to be little spoon. no actually don't touch her. no wait scratch that she's laying on top of you all 5'2 glory. its 3am dont look at the clock.

"...Did you finally decide on what you want to do, Iako..." Sleepily mutters Kaede with a sigh as she pats the girl's head... She was stirred awake by feeling Iako constantly switching positions, until she felt lay on top of her.

One eye opens halfway to gaze down at her. "I hope you're satisfied staying like this, because I'm not letting you move again...."

In fact, she goes to completely wrap both her arms around Iako, along with one of her legs hooked around her, before letting out a satisfied hum. "Muuuch better...."

Now she'll sleep even better with her cozy Iako-shaped pillow!

"Exactly... so even he's aware that he can't outrun us." He could tell that Yuma didn't like the sound of him going in there alone; which he could understand, but still couldn't help but chuckle. "I promise it will be fine, Yuma. Besides; as your senpai, I have to try to look cool at least once, right? Heh heh heh...." He was joking, of course, mostly hoping to ease some of Yuma's anxiousness. His smile warms when he ultimately does agree to the plan. "Thank you, Yuma. Alright, it's a plan; and I will. Yeah, but I'm prepared for anything. He won't slip away from us, again!"

With that, he gives one more nod of his head, before entering the dark room. Maybe it was because of the high amount of tension he was already feeling, but something about the different shapes of the shadows visible from the flashlight, felt a bit eerie... But he quickly steels his nerves and continues searching for him. Hoping to see any hint of bright red eyes, as he peers under tables, gazes at the especially darker parts of the room where Yuma's flashlight didn't brighten up at the moment...and he'd use his own, but he wanted to have two hands open and ready to restrain him. He's also keeping his ears open for any semblance of noise; shuffling of clothes, the faintest footstep, possibly even his breath: anything. Because if he does, he will immediately make his way to that part of the room. No matter if their target is possibly aggressive or resists heavily... Shuichi will not be afraid. He is absolutely determined to grab him the moment he sees him, so that Yuma won't even have to worry about catching him at the entrance.

"If he's breaking his pattern then he must feel like he's being cornered, right? I can't imagine he would do this if he felt everything was proceeding as usual." Yuma gives a worried, little noise at hearing his senpai's plan, nervously glancing back at the taller detective.

"Y-you want to go in there? Alone?! B-but that's..." He desperately wants to object, but he knows Shuichi's plan is the best one they have if they're going to put a stop to this chaos. They know where he is and that there's only one way out of the room. No matter how unnerving the situation, they have to take this chance.

"All right... I'll stay here and guard the entrance. B-but make sure to watch yourself, okay? Now that he's about to be caught, he might lash out just so he can try to escape..."

Yuma makes sure to stand right in the center of the archway, his brow furrowed as his flashlight casts unusual shadows onto the walls thanks to all the various art equipment and sculptures. Any other time he would have liked to inspect everything that's scattered throughout the room, but right now they only help to make Yuma that much more unnerved, especially since Shuichi won't be alone in there...
