ignoring my kickstarter for a minute to show off my table because I love it

So this is the table (normal style) it's got a lot of storage space in the bottom, it's also on wheels which makes it way easier to move around

We keep our games and blankets in there! so that's nice. but then...

IT OPENS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it opens into traystands, and you could still put stuff into the hole there if you wanted!!!

so it's really space efficient but also looks so nice and I really love it.

It also normally was $600 but because this was the floor model (which is why it's scuffed up) it was $150 :) still a lot, but I've never loved a coffee table this much so it was super worth it. it's really nice to be able to pull the bit of the table up closer to me so I can reach things easier.

today I had to work all afternoon and early evening and then go to a big birthday party so I frankly expected to end the day exhausted, irritated and disappointed and instead I had a great evening ! I got to see a guy I hadn't seen in a decade, we had a lot of mutual respect for each other and it was a pleasure to catch up with him, he's been through a lot of shit and I think that's what makes him so fascinating and likable ! I'm just very pleased to get to know him again and im very happy with how the evening went

I'm not sure what meat you mean (the later the evening, the worse my understanding of English lol) but yeah, feelings of loneliness? That's a thing for both of them. I can imagine a couple of things to describe being alone:

childhood events (they were both somewhat neglected)

being in the waiting room of a hospital, one of them in surgery

feeling alone in a crowd because the other one isn't there

a silly Star Wars conversation (I mean, if we take the alone literally, because Buck has a different opinion on a movie then at least 2 people we know)

hostage situations in which they get separated

soft moments of loneliness when waking up to a cold bed because the other one already went to his shift

misunderstandings, one of them leaves (if only temporary)

forced to make a heavy decision for the other one

feeling left out (also a thing for both of them)

And for the +1, realizing they are in fact NOT alone:

soft evenings when their shift endings match

touching hands during a stressful event

being completely accepted by the other one's family

an emergency call that somehow gets the other person on the line to help

moving in together

literally "I have your back" in an argument

etc. etc.
