In a break from the usual topics Ive been reading The Count Of Monte Christo because the 2002 movie with Jim Caviezel was fundamental to my late teens and there is something so wrong with Edmond Dantes like I am 276 pages in and he's still setting up his Rube Goldberg machine of a vengeance plot he's the perfect antithesis of Hamlet

Hamlet couldn't bring himself to do anything and everyone knew he was pissed off.

Edmond Dantes on the other hand is arguably doing too much and no one knows he's even still alive.
