tuesday: working with joyce-- major irrigation, then raking/tidying beds

biked to class; went to java ocean to get a chunky monkey smoothie and then knocked it over when i was unlocking my bike cuz i’m an idiot. also why the fuck is a smoothie EIGHT dollars class was interesting; i didn’t hand in any homework because i suck and didn’t do it on the ride home i went to search for a ceanothus jacob told me existed but couldn’t find it

wednesday: working with luke-- major irrigation also i collected some buckeye fruit from the tree across from mullen at first i was feeling very sluggish wrt working with luke because he’s such a downer (and subsequently i realized how much of a downer i must be to others) but then we both became less bitter and more into the work as the day came to an end also luke gave me a ride home which was very nice of him and we listened to the reggae hour on 89.5 KPOO which i enjoyed

class after; malcolm made us do manual labor and it was boring but i did it i finalized my planting plan for my erosion control project

thursday: mobile route, then watered infields, then back to terracing. got halfway up the hill, maybe more? ran out of euc logs though. will have to find more logs elsewhere

after work i went to botanical because i was riding my bike super slowly and decided to stop by to look at plants in jason’s beat. saw maria volunteering (yo man what. she literally went straight from work. to volunteer. damn. respect. she’s a machine) and showed her my project plan, and then went to draw a rhodie for old times’ sake then went home hit grocery outlet made quinoa and lunch and dinner and started reading thomas’ blog (kendra showed it to me today) and it’s DOPE and reminds me why i love what i do and how to see magic in every day life and i can’t wait to take his class

and i can’t wait to like, make time to try new projects and methods, when i am 3417
