Shinichi defending himself with soccer skills is still so funny in theory. A criminal probably sees him and mocks him for not taking self-defence in any kind and Shinichi responds with a very mean kick to the groin.

Anyone who knows Shinichi knows to keep kickable objects away from him and have learned he can and will use whatever he can to knock people out with (shout out to the time he tried to use cabbage or lettuce and exploded it).

Kaito probably tells Agasa to update his watch to hold more darts for the criminals sakes more than Shinichi's, having been a recipient of the soccer balls of hell. I'd say he'd put a few balls of knockout gas for him in his pocket but knowing Shinichi, he'd find someway to use them as soccer balls to kick at criminals.
