Since I’ve just gotten on to #bandcamp I’m going through all my past albums one a day. This was the sixth and the first of two so far as part of the duo Promis & Matthews (with @imatthws ). Continuing with the look back at my previous #musicvideos before the new album comes out , this is one of the best songs , one which I thought and still do that it "could have been a contender". One of my personal favorites from the Promis & Matthews project "Vertigo Heights," this is "I Earned My Crown." It was shot in a ruined castle in Leiria Portugal with help by Portuguese musician Nuno Russo, and at Ian Matthews' Los Angeles home studio by his wife Laura Matthews.

From "Vertigo Heights" the is "Everything Seems Better At Night." Another guerrilla type video shot throughout Los Angeles by fashion designer and CEO of Horse of Arabia Husam Salman. One of the more commercial and accessible songs, I thought, from the Promis & Matthews "Vertigo Heights" project.

Now we move on to my sixth album, "Vertigo Heights," and the first released as a proper duo with my producer and co-writer Ian Matthews, as Promis & Matthews. The sound is more pop and less cabaret as the regular Promis albums. This video was directed by Amor Armour and shot around Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles. The song is "Dear Photograph." The lyrics were inspired, as many of my songs were, by my mother's recent death.
