While he wouldn't call himself 'free', as there was always the constant burden of being tied to a realm beyond the one of humans, he could most certainly say that tossing his previous responsibilities aside was far more relieving than what he could ever have imagined. Or rather, taking his responsibilities and turning them into something he could actually have something gain from. Still, as pleasing as it was to having left the seemingly endless count of crossroads behind, he was fully aware of how much of a wanted fiend he made himself out to be.

It was not a joy, needless to say. To constantly have the need to scout out his own surroundings for any potential threats sent from Hell. Naturally, taking out its agents were but a small feat for someone like him, but it would very much draw unnecessary attention. All he wanted was to do his work in peace and quiet - was that truly so much to ask for?

... Clearly, not.

As much as he could sense the souls of those humans around him, he could always tell if there were any abnormalities. And this one... was no ordinary human, now were they? It looked and talked like a human, but certainly didn't behave like one. And... whatever.... energy, if you will, that resides within it, was no ordinary soul either, was it?

Obviously he wasn't going to mention how he himself is doing that exact same thing, but at the very least he had a purpose. Surely an archangel would have a tremendous one himself, no?

making it back — alive was a feat. by now he’s certain news of his capture was spread, especially amongst dumbledore’s army, only to be confirmed once he’s snuck back into the room of requirement. the markings on his wrists were much fainter than they were originally, having been shackled by the carrows, but the effects of the torture were PERMANENT. The school had surely gone downhill since their headmasters death, another war rising. it felt bleak, the only thing the student body had to lean on was each other ( at least those who were part of the. . . resistance. But he didn’t regret anything, and it wasn’t the first time he’d rebelled against it. it wouldn’t be the last. He was quite adamant in his refusal he couldn’t torture first years or anyone, even if he got tortured himself. “ I’m surprised longbottom didn’t tell you, “ he got out through his teeth, as he was in quite of bit of pain, lowering himself into one of the chairs as she questioned him.

he didn’t want anyone feeling . . . pity for him, especially when he didn’t do it to be heroic, he did it for those who didn’t really have their voice yet. it took a minute or so for him to collect his thoughts before he sighed. “ the carrows. they tortured me for not wanting to practice the cruciatus curse on first years. I only now just managed to get away. I reckon it won’t be long before they come looking for me. “

Please stop ignoring that white supremacy is a huge core element of radfem/terf ideology.

Like yes they hyperenforce gender roles and stereotypes on all cis women, but it is primarily women of color that they target and accuse of being predatory and "not real women" when they're targeting cis women.

The metrics of "real woman vs trans woman" that terfs love to share are almost all just white eurocentric beauty standards. Small nose, thin fine hair, little/no body hair, petite but somehow curvy, hell I've even seen a post saying skin lightness is a determiner.

Terf/radfem circles are racist at their core. You cannot separate radical feminism from it's violently white supremacist roots. You can't have "anti-racist radical feminism", that's a fucking oxymoron. There is a very clean path from terfs to tradfems/tradwifes, to just straight up conservative republican women.

Yes yes always, terfs are super misogynistic. They hurt all women by forcing them back into the little impossible painful boxes that they claim they're fighting. But one of their biggest targets other than trans women is black women. Not to mention ignoring, discrediting, or just straight up trying to erase all the hard work that black trans women did for queer rights.

Radical feminism is very much transphobic, homophobic, and misogynistic. I'm not saying stop addressing it as such. Don't ever do addressing it as such!

But radical feminism is white supremacy in a coat of pink paint. Please never forget that when talking about how it hurts us all.

he felt it creep on him, the warmth resonating in his face after her lips met his skin. they’d undoubtedly spent a lot of time together recently, and he liked it. he liked more than he liked hanging with most people, because she understood him, and he was both scared and not scared at the same time. he’s self aware- so he knows he has the capability of inflicting harm or harsh words on people just by generally being him, so he’d truly hate to hurt her in any way, should they continue to grow. Right now he’s at ease, just in her presence and doesn’t feel the need to be so guarded. she even got a smile out of him. “ thanks? “ he grinned again hoping it didn’t look stupid that his face was probably a little flushed from the kiss she placed on his cheek.

he hadn’t had the guts to even really do more than hug or hold her hand, because he wasn’t in the business of trying anything too quickly, even if he felt affection for her; it was still very new to him. and he wouldn’t be afraid to admit that she’s much better than him. something however shifted slightly as he leaned in and returned it, pressing his own lips to her cheek before retreating and settling back beside her.

at times -- finn still couldn't believe this was his life, like he needed to pinch himself. of course, he wouldn't have even had this chance if he didn't get discharged and end up back in lima. he figures this was the universe or something, guiding him. he had to thank her, too. without her he'd probably still be working for his step-dad -- not that he didn't enjoy it, but it wasn't enough for him to be . . . happy.

being on the road with haley was something he never would've imagined. many late nights, lots of time on the road. of course nothing compared to what felt like on stage -- even behind a drum kit. but something was building between them. blurring the lines of . . . friendship. they'd outgrown the tutoree - tutor dynamic months ago, their friendship was probably one of the more healthier ones finn had had - even in highschool. finn didn't want to confuse things so when he's feeling cornered, he sighs, his gaze locked on hers.

" i think i need you .. i need to hear you say it .. " then maybe it wouldn't be all that confusing for him to put his own feelings out there.
