VERSE 01 || KISARAGI KIDNAPPINGS This one is private, as it follows the events of the discord server. This follows Melody and Aleksei's lives as projects, up until the death of their mutual creator.

VERSE 02 || ???? wip

The period after the death of the kisaragi kidnapper, but before they got settled. Also private.

VERSE 03 || STARDOM This is the blog's default verse. It takes place after Aleksei and Melody have achieved their stardom.

In a universe where everyone is born with numbers on their wrists counting down to when they’ll meet their soulmate, send me 00:00:00 for my muses reaction to their numbers hitting zero when they meet yours.

Gabriel did his best to ignore his clock. It angered him more than gave him hope like it did to everyone else. He was convinced that his clock was broken anyways. It would constantly change times randomly instead of actually counting down and sometimes it stayed frozen on the same time for days. 

When he was younger, he’d gotten so angry about it that he tried to get rid of it many times. He tried cutting and burning it and had ended up in the hospital numerous times. Anymore, he just kept a leather cuff around it so he wouldn’t ever have to see it.

Unfortunately, that meant that he didn’t actually know when it ran out, though he was told it would tingle or burn sometimes if it had hit zero and was not paired with another; the universe wanted people to be with their mates.

So when Gabriel bumped into the red head on his way out of the coffee shop, he didn’t think anything more of it. “Sorry,” he said and went on his way, sipping at his overly sugared drink.

The smell of paper had hit his nose the instant that he crossed the threshold. When he had made his way completely inside, he felt a sense of ease. His guard was never fully dropped, not really, but at the very least, he found the bookstore's atmosphere to be calming. Shota had found that being in places like bookstores and libraries was something that invoked an ounce of peace within him. Or maybe it was the greenery that beckoned him in from the window.

As he walked further into the building, dark eyes swiveled over to the shop owner. Aizawa didn't speak at first but he did give Dwight a curt nod to let the other man know that he had been heard. His eyes moved away from Blackburn to scan their way across the store in search for something. If Aizawa was a more patient man and if it were earlier in the day, he might have done some browsing. Shota hadn't ever been one for idle chit-chat but for the time being, it was illogical to waste time looking around, so he might as well cut to the chase.

"Actually, there is something that you can help me with," he replied. "I was wondering if you could point me into the direction of your horror and poetry sections. Oh, and if you have anything on horticulture, I'd like to have a look at that too. Given how many plants are in here, I would imagine that you have a few of those."

It was later in the evening when business was starting to slow down. People were heading back to their houses and which left Dwight’s store empty. Dwight utilized this spare time to sweep around the store, restock his bookshelves and perhaps most importantly, tend to his garden.

Despite being a bookstore, Dwight prided himself in cultivating such a beautiful array of plants. They decorated the outside of his store and the inside. He had several pots that he arranged around the building to give the store a relaxing vibe. Dwight waved his hand over a plant, a green aura engulfing his hand slightly as his magic helped the plant grow.

He heard the bell ring to his shop and he turned his head over. “Welcome to Verbatim, please let me know if there’s anything I can assist you with.”
