Veroturo

Arturo feels most comfortable taking off his mask around Veronika. He doesn’t really understand why, but for some reason he finds her unadulterated creepiness to be comforting.

She quickly figures this out and makes an effort to never comment on it, so that it can stay safe for him.

Jus thinking about verturo

I like to think veronika would subvert expectations just to mess with arturo, being unusually gentle and slow with him. Maybe painfully slow but more so gentle and intimate rather than something intimidating/unsettling like how I imagine Arturo would think of an intimate session with Veronika would be like .If I'm making sense?

Arturo without the mask (the original for this artwork.) was so cursed I had to make a separate version with the mask on.

I’m gonna try doing more artworks in this style. (The dr splashart/cg/official art/execution art style, but not the sprite arts, I don’t really care for those.) It’s honestly kind of hard. I spent a very long time on this artwork and I don’t even think I did that good replicating the style. I can’t really find much any videos or tutorials about the art style and I can’t really find much videos about the lead dr artist.

I have also considered doing splash arts for Arturo, Veronika, and Arei, because I like them, but Arturo I am especially struggling with because his talent freaks me out and I don’t know how a splash art for a plastic surgeon would go.

Veroturo in my DRDT x Goodbye Despair Talent Swap AU

Princess Veronika x Swordsman Arturo

•During the events of the prologue, Arturo is the one who attacks MonoTV instead of Levi. However, this action causes spikes to come out and towards Veronika instead of him. Arturo manages to slice the spikes down with his sword before they hit her. Afterwards, he gets down on one and bows his head to her, apologizing to Veronika and offering to be her personal bodyguard as a way to atone for his actions. Veronika accepts and the two become inseperable throughout the killing game.

•Arturo has a natural instinct in protecting others, so he's naturally protective over Veronika, who also happens to be royalty. He stands on guard for her at all times. Arturo thinks Veronika is very nice and also sort of thinks she's pretty, but he wouldn't admit that aloud.

•Veronika admires Arturo for his sword abilities and aspires to be like him at some point. She appreciates his company a lot. She also thinks that he is a very good natured and cute soul.

I like all the ships you mentioned there! Acevi has an interesting dynamic especially on Ace's end :). Areiden is cute as fuck and I love it and poor Arei deserves the world. Xanruko is tragic but also fun and I love how Xander's betrayal impacted Teruko that deeply and we get to see the consequences of it in chapter two. Charwhit is amazing and I love all the fanart and their gay little banter. Veroturo is fun as fuck, especially on Veronika's side, I love it lmao. VEROVID SOUNDS SO MUCH FUN AND CHAOTIC I LOVE IT OMFG
