But for now, let's calm down and save it for the murder run.
Still it was interesting in that I hadn't known he could be pushed like that.
If I had done this in the run where I demanded a platoon for blackmail, would he have backed down?
What would change I wonder

This video game kills facists
Overboard! is a new game on IOS/Switch where it’s the 1930s, you’re a former actress/socialite on a cruise ship, and you just threw your husband overboard, killing him. Don’t feel too bad about it, though — he was cheating on you, had a gambling problem that drove you both into debt and, oh yes, he was a big fan of Hitler. Maybe WWII hasn’t fully erupted yet, but Veronica Villensey still believes in killing Nazis.
The setup is that you, as Mrs. Villensey, have eight hours until the ship reaches port. Your objective: Get away with the murder, of course. Were there any witnesses? Did you leave any evidence behind? Is it better to frame this as a suicide or to pin it on somebody else aboard? If someone else is suspicious of you, can you convince them of your innocence or should you just fucking kill them, too? You choose where to go and what to say, but everything you do causes minutes to pass, so it’s a time-management game as much as a game of choices.
I managed to get away with killing Mr. Villensey on my first playthrough, and I even started banging the ship’s commander on the side, but alas — I was left with no money due to outstanding debts and no insurance. That’s where the game’s brief length comes in! Each playthrough lasts about 30-45 minutes because it’s designed to be replayed. You’re supposed to progressively learn more and more about each person, place, and thing on the ship so you can devise the ideal crime.
It’s fun! The dialogue is snappy and Veronica is an amusing anti-hero. Exploring what happens in different parts of the ship at different times of day keeps things interesting on each loop. It’s like a bite-size period-piece mystery visual novel. I dig the art style, too. So basically... I just wanted to say that I like it. It might not be worth the $14.99 they’re asking on Switch, but when it’s on sale or if you pay the IOS price of $5.99? Sure.

Behind the Design: Overboard!
Behind the Design: Overboard!
The murder mystery game Overboard! is a whodunit with a killer twist: You done it… and now you have to get away with it. In Overboard!, you play not as the detective but the murderer most foul — Veronica Villensey, a fading 1930s starlet who’s tossed her husband off a cruise ship. Now, you have just eight in-game hours to pin the crime on somebody else. Chat with unsuspecting (and suspecting)…

Overboard review — Murder, she committed
It’s 1935 and, on a crossing from England to America, I have just shoved my husband overboard. He’s gone. Dead. Kaput. Unfortunately, I now only have eight hours to cover my tracks before we dock in America. Overboard has proven one thing to me that I’ve always suspected: I’m a bloody virtuoso at murder. Emphasis, I suspect, on bloody. (Also, if law enforcement is reading this, I’m joking and please don’t check my basement.) Man overboard That first paragraph wasn’t actually me confessing to crimes that I somehow committed decades before I was born (addressing that to law enforcement, again). But it is the premise of Overboard. As the newly widowed Veronica Villensey, you’ve got eight hours to quite literally get away with murder as the other first-class passengers go about their day. Your chances of succeeding on your first attempt are very, very slim, because you don’t actually start with a lot of information. While Vero... Someday I will do a full playthrough for Overbord! But in the meantime, enjoy the newspaper articles at the beginning and end.

You could kill him right here and now. He's lying about the safety. Anders is on watch.
That makes Clarissa the only one who isn't killable with some kind of dolphin, I think.

See I didn't see this written about in the walkthrough or on TV tropes
Mr. Carstairs can also be killed with a weapon that has a connection to dolphins.

So in my first playthrough he came on the deck, and evesdropped on the conversation with Clarissa, which is a deviation from his normal routine. But I found actually I can goad him into it in the morning
