A quick introduction to all of the public lots in Veronaville. This is the lots that can't be owned by a sim.

There's currently 5 public community lots in Veronaville:

Veronaville Train Station On the Monty's side of Veronaville, you can find the little train station. Hopping on the train from Veronaville, will take you directly downtown to Belladonna Cove.

Stratford St. Church One of the two churches of Veronaville. This one is on the Monty's side of the town.

Veronaville Memorial The second church of Veronaville. This one is on the Capp's side of the town.

The abandoned vineyard Once a fruitful business, the vineyard has now been closed down for a while and completely abandoned. More or less..

The Norman Private School Founded by the Norman family many, many years ago, the Veronaville private school is a proud institution that only takes in the best of students. The school houses one after school club, which is The Chess Club. (it's currently unfinished)

Daniel Pleasant owns the most profitable coal mine in Veronaview. His wife Mary Sue helps him run it and oversees the distribution and sales of the coal. Now that Mary Sue's parents have moved in with them, she can spend more time at the mining office while they help out around the house.

Angela is the golden child of the family, and knows her first duty is to marry well. She couldn't help falling head over heels for Dustin though. She knows that he is smart and ambitious and deserves a chance to be more than a guttersnipe.

Lilith wants to be an opera singer and marry Dirk Dreamer, both of which would horrify her parents, if they paid any attention to her in the first place.

Daniel and Mary Sue have been in touch with some of the wealthy sims in Veronaville, and want to introduce their daughters to the Monty and Capp heirs. The girls have $10k simoleans each for their dowries, and if Daniel doesn't have a son, Angela and her husband will inherit the manor, mine, and Pleasant fortune! So it shouldn't be too hard to get an introduction for them.

This blog is run by three different people! The one writing this being gloomy! My friends and I, wanted to make a Genshin x Sims 2 crossover, with each each of us contributing to something.

However deciding which blog to post all the drawings and ideas to was going to be a hassle, so I had the thought of making a shared blog!

Tank: Ripp.

Ripp: Oh, you again. What are you going to do now, huh?

Tank: I just wanted to congratulate you. You've won.

Ripp: What, is Tybalt awake?

Tank: No. The Knights of Order don't even care anymore. Sana and Hamza keep going off with their girlfriends and Zoya left town to save one of her friends.

Ripp: That just means they gave up.

Tank: I guess so...but I think I understand where you're coming from now.

Ripp: (This was a weird conversation, but at least we won't have to worry about the Knights of Order anymore.)

Aktu: Oh, wow!

Aktu: Kent wrote me a love poem! That's so sweet of him!

Tank: ...The more I think about it, how did anyone fall for the "the people living with you are your aunt and uncle" thing? Neither of the two look anything like either of us.

Ripp: I'm assuming they thought I was adopted. After all, Puck is, too. It's not news to them.

Tank: Who's Puck?

Ripp: The redhead with the face paint?...he's pretty hard to miss. Have you not talked to anyone here?

Tank: No? What's the point? They're all going to die anyway.

Ripp: No wonder you failed your mission...come on. I'm introducing you to hi-

Ripp: (Oh, it's Kent! I haven't seen him since we stole Tybalt's body from the crypt. I wonder if we should tell him...)

Kent: Hey, Aktu? Are you busy?

Aktu: Nope! Just woke up, actually. Why?

Kent: I want to talk to you about something, in private.

Ripp: (Shoot! This isn't about Tybalt, is it?)

Aktu: Yeah, sure! Let's go inside.

Ripp: (Kent hasn't noticed me yet. I should probably go before he notices me and starts asking questions. I'll let Aktu deal with this himself.)

Ripp: Come on, Tank, let's go. We're going to go meet Puck.

Puck: (The tension at home is almost as bad as the tension at school. I wonder how Tybalt would feel, seeing all of this-)

*DING DONG*

Bottom: I'll get it!...Puck! It's your new emo friend! And there's like some guy with green slop on his face!

Tank: It's face paint!

Bottom: That's some really garbage face paint, then!

Puck: Bottom, don't say that!...and hi, Ripp. Who's the other guy?

Ripp: This is my brother. He's living with my...other aunt. Wanted to introduce him to everyone.

Puck: (Weird time for an introduction). Well, hi! It's nice to meet you.

Tank: Why are your ears shaped like that?

Puck: Excuse me? What's wrong with my ears?

Tank: They're pointy? You're not secretly an alien or anything, right?

Puck: Why don't we just...go inside?

(one long and slightly racist monologue about aliens later)

Tank: ...aliens have the ability to mind control other people and impregnate men, so we have to make sure they get eliminated as soon as possible.

Puck: That's great, um...what was your name?

Tank: Tank.

Puck: Right. Well, my godfather got abducted a while ago, and his boyfriend also got abducted and had kids over it. Both of them were fine, from what I heard.

Tank: You don't think they could've been switched out?

Puck: I mean...now that you think about it-

Ripp: Puck, don't believe a word he says. I've literally met actual aliens and they were super chill. He's just racist.

Tank: I'm not! You don't realize exactly how much danger you've been putting yourself in! They were probably just waiting for the perfect time to strike.

Puck: I can see why you two live in different houses...

While Tank and Ripp were with the Summerdreams, Romeo paid me a visit at the silo near Monty Ranch.

Romeo: Viola.

Viola: Hm? How exactly did you find me here?

Romeo: Well, the silo is a quiet place that nobody ever goes to, and I know you're not reckless enough to stay in the area where the Capps are.

Viola: Fair point. So, what's going on?

Romeo: Mercutio sort of, um, disappeared...

Viola: (HE RAN AWAY?) Why are you saying that like you were responsible?

Romeo: I guess I kind of feel like I am? He's only acting like this because I dated Juliette, which somehow lead to him getting it on with Tybalt for some reason.

Viola: You're not that powerful. It's not like you brought them

Romeo: But...there was someone who did.

Viola: What are you implying here?

Romeo: That new kid, Ripp! He's the one who's responsible for Mercutio's disappearance, with those parties and group hangouts that he never invited me too!

Viola: No, I don't think that's right eith-

Romeo: I'LL END HIM! AND AVENGE MERCUTIO!

Viola: (goddammit.)

GVGP Profile: Caliban Capp

After a long hiatus, I'm back with more genetic profiles. When we left off, we just finished up with the third generation Capps and Montys, so it's time to move on to the fourth.

When I posted the previous generation's summary, I announced that the fourth-generation sim with the fewest ancestors was first on the list. So, let's talk about Caliban Capp.

According to the Capp family tree, Caliban was the son of Prospero and Sycorax Gale. As you can see in his genetic profile, Caliban’s parents are his only known ancestors. As such, his entry will likely be somewhat short compared to those belonging to his children.

As a father of three, Caliban will be present in each of his offsprings' genetic profiles, and given a mention whenever necessary.

Skintone

As the son of an S2 father and an S1 mother, Caliban’s S2 skintone makes perfect sense.

Hair Color

As the son of two red-haired parents, Caliban also having red hair makes perfect sense.

Eye Color

While Caliban’s skintone and hair color are simple enough, his eye color is another story entirely due to the game presenting us with two options, one dominant and one recessive. For the record, Caliban’s father had dark blue eyes, whereas his mother had grey eyes.

When looking at the memories of his children and father-in-law, you will see that Caliban’s headshot shows him having brown eyes. For these brown eyes to make sense, we would need to assume Prospero had an allele for them in his genetic code. That said, Caliban’s brown eyes are not genuine, but rather the result of his corrupt face.

Option 1: Brown-Eyed!Caliban

As previously mentioned in my introduction post, Caliban, like other sims with corrupt faces, possesses the following three features present in his headshot — brown eyes, no eyebrows, and the second face template. While there are some brown-eyed sims with corrupt faces, Caliban is not one of them because he is actually programmed to have green eyes.

Option 2: Green-Eyed!Caliban

Like with the brown eyes, Caliban having green eyes would also require some hypothetical genetics. Should you want to keep hypothetical genetics to a minimum, it would be best if only one parent had the hypothetical allele. With that in mind, the best option would be to assume that the green allele came from Prospero since Sycorax already has a recessive eye color.

As a Whole

Caliban's filled out genetic profile. His skintone and hair color both make perfect sense. While both of his eye colors make sense with hypothetical genetics, the brown eyes aren't natural, and instead the result of borkage.

Who's Next

With Caliban out of the way, we're getting ready to fry some bigger fish. Some of them are on par with the Capp and Monty grandparents, while others have another generation to contend with. As for who's after Caliban, it's one of the bigger fish, because next up is Veronaville's answer to Cassandra Goth -- Bianca Monty.

Been meaning to try my hands on a Sims story for ages again and this one has been brewing in the back of my mind for a while now. Decided to make it a reality after all the love and support I received with the concept, so here it is!

The story itself is written by @bosouzoku and me and mainly focusses on Veronaville with a darker, more serious twist to it, following bits from the original Romeo & Juliet, except with more of a focus on Tybalt & Mercutio. Set in a bit of a modern fantasy. Will upload several character introductions in-between the story as well.

Brief warning beforehand, this story will tackle heavier topics like: Death, Depression, Murder and Abuse. All will be tagged accordingly.

This post will be updated accordingly as more parts are released.

Veronaville manga WIP starring the Tellier family (OC Sims) [May 2022]

I've started drawing my Sims 2 manga ages ago, but I haven't posted the first pages here yet. So for now, I will share the pages I've drawn since last year 😊. The original text is a mix between Dutch and German, but I wrote down the translations below the pictures. Pardon the crappy lighting and wonky formatting 🙈

On this page, I want to draw a set table with typical German dinner (Abendbrot), but first I want to make in-game screenshots of the dining table in the desired angles and refine the drawing of the front view of their house.

Thanks to some screenshots I made (and a 3D anime pose app), I managed to draw the eating poses of the Sim characters. And I tried to throw in a German pun 😅

Sims 2 Default SC4 Terrain Previews

Tired of going to make your custom hood with one of the default terrains in Sims 2 only to find out you don’t even like it? I know I was but no matter what terms I put in google, I couldn't find any good previews of the SC4 terrains. So I thought I’d provide for those who are currently making a hood or need to plan out their hood but can’t find the references for the terrain they used.

Previews under cut! All previews are with no extra hood deco (except for bridges in the hoods that use them) and with the lush terrain option. And might I suggest my deforested SC4Terrain Replacements so you don't have to go through deleting all the trees as well ;)?

Here is the town of Veronaville.

The town is divided into two different districts with different architectural styles; the 'English’ and the 'Italian’ side. The two sides are divided by the river.

There's currently 26 sims spread across 5 households in the town:

Has three younger sisters. They, like the rest of his family, both parents included, all live back in Veronaville. Harry visits when he can.

Worked at a research lab in Sim City, before he was eventually summoned to Strangetown to study strange radiation found at the crash site. Has only been here since shortly after the crash.

Was married for six years, but his obsession with his research, and the inability to be honest with his wife about what they were working on at the military base, eventually resulted in mistrust and divorce. She left Strangetown shortly after.

Harry has a Dalmatian named Amalthea. His actual child.

Most of his work and studies revolve around nuclear physics, but he’s also branches out into astrophysics, and has avid interest in space exploration. Aliens are cool. Like, let him befriend all the aliens. 

Will talk to everyone and anyone, and is happy about it. Usually can’t tell if the people he’s engaging in conversation feel the same way. 

Lies about the seniority of his position at the base so that he doesn’t have to be dishonest with people about what’s going on there, but he’s the worst liar to have ever lied. No one believes you clean the windows, Harry. Stop trying.

Monty family, Veronaville - #2

Mercutio's back at Veronaville, and since he’s an adult now (and had been thinking about it non-stop since he came back), he decided to tell the whole family about *something*.

He told them about him and Tybalt (but of course he asked him first if it’s OK with him LOL), and actually have managed to invite him over at the Monty Ranch. Tybalt was having some mixed emotions at first regarding the introduction. Talk about marriage was brought up by Isabella.

The elders were having second thoughts and didn’t know how to react at first, but they saw how Mercutio is happy when Tybalt’s around (and even just talking about him makes him all giddy).

The elders decided to invite the whole Monty family in the neighborhood and the Summerdreams for a small gathering/reunion (since they’re retired and kinda bored and nothing to do) before Romeo left for college.
