“It’s rare we get a night like this one,” you muttered as you tipped your head back to catch the last few droplets of the alcohol you’ve been passing around. At the beginning of the night, everyone had been completely sober, but now, it was a different story. There had been at least three bottles that were passed around, and now you had just finished the last one. As far as you knew there wasn’t any more alcohol in the house, and Dean would never let anyone touch his secret stash no matter how drunk he was.

“Every night ends like this for me,” Dean laughed as he tipped back his chair. He wasn’t paying attention, and he almost fell back if he hadn’t jerked upright at the last second.

“Want to play confessions?” Sam asked with a grin.

“While being drunk? Hell yeah,” you laughed a little too loudly.

“Okay, you go first little brother since it was your idea.”

“Fine. I cry every time I color outside the lines in my Star Wars coloring book,” he hiccupped.

“Sam, you colored in it last week,” you smirked.

“Yeah, I know,” he laughed. It was a shame he didn’t really know what he was saying because you would have loved to see that little pink blush dust over his cheeks. He was handsome every day, but you loved it when the man blushed. Being drunk and having these thoughts weren't really a good idea since no one knew of your crush on the man, but you hoped your brain wouldn’t make a fool out of you tonight.

“Okay, my turn,” Dean declared as he cleared his throat. “When I was in high school, remember how I snuck out to go hang with some friends?”

“Vaguely,” you grimace at your throbbing head.

“Well, we had gotten so hammered that I was dared to streak naked through the neighborhood, and I did. But the thing is that someone was recording the whole time, so now my penis is all over the internet forever.”

“Shit, what’s the link?” you laughed. Sam grunted in dissatisfaction at you wanting to see his brother’s penis when it was his that he wanted you to be seeing, but he didn’t say anything else about it.

“Okay, what’s yours?” Dean asked you.

“Okay, remember the case we had where I was really bitchy because I was going through a dry spell?”

“And I told you that Sam or I would have been happy to take care of that issue of yours,” Dean smirked.

“No, I didn’t, you did,” Sam glared at his brother. You would have been upset by his words if you hadn’t heard what he muttered under his breath. “I wouldn’t have done it that way. She’s a lady.”

“Well, I was so desperate, anyone with a cock looked good to me. So, a guy with knee-high socks and crocs ended up coming to my room that night. I still don’t remember exactly what happened,” you chuckled as Dean threw his head back and laughed.

“I have a secret Pinterest account where I’m currently planning my wedding,” Sam blurted out.

“Okay, forget Dean’s dick, I want that link!” you exclaimed.

“Dude, seriously? What are you, a chick?”

“Don’t listen to him, Sam. I think it’s pretty romantic that you have your dream wedding planned.”

“Who are you planning it for?” Dean smirked knowing that his brother had a huge crush on you.

“No one,” he scoffed.

“Ooh, Sammy had a crush!” you gushed.

“No, I don’t. Dean, your turn,” Sam changed the subject quickly, and even though you were wasted, you kept thinking about his dream bride.

“Fine, right after graduation, I--” Dean shot out of his seat before running to the bathroom to throw up whatever was in his system.

“And that’s our cue to stop for the night,” you giggled as you gathered the bottles.

“Yeah, it is.”

“Sam?”

“Yeah?”

“Whoever that lucky woman is that you’re going to marry won’t know what hit her. If it were me, and I kind of hope that it is, I wouldn’t ever let someone like you go,” you said before leaving the room. It took a few minutes for the words to process in Sam’s mind, but as soon as they did, he shot out of his seat to run to you.

Before any kind of relationship with Michel I'd say Deshanna as her keeper/former mentor and her father. Of course Inquisition pulls her away from those supports, so Charter is a good friend but not a perfect substitute for sharing all her true feelings. I think a lot of people confide in her, including Cassandra and Cullen, but she has doubts that these people would trust her if she wasn't Inquisitor.

As for Michel, not to spoil my own story, but nothing there could happen without the utmost honesty first. 😁

I adore her and Michel together but hey the heart wants what it wants, how would Verita choose if she had to?

Ha, no spoilers!  IF Solas is redeemable and IF he lives, I could see Verita going back to him. She would forgive him, especially once she understands 1) why he walked away after Corypheus was defeated 2) his motivations for telling her the gods were not gods and 3) who he really is. She’s got a lot of capacity for forgiveness -- so far in her story she’s started coming around to Morrigan once the context becomes more clear (Morrigan essentially grew up under some influence of Mythal when you think about it). 

However, I don’t think their romance would be immediately rekindled. He’d need to work at it, and she would be cautious friends at first. But the pull is there, regardless of who else she may or may not have fallen in love with.  That being said, if she and Michel were in a committed relationship already when all the above conditions were met, she would not leave him for Solas. She’d probably feel very conflicted about it (which would be an angsty story of its own), but she would stay with Michel.

In truth, it’s another reason she seeks the overlooked corners. She can’t bear to come across another soul.

Cole tries to help. He offers to listen with Verita, and though he has a sort of preternatural wisdom, he doesn’t speak Elvhen either. She thanks him anyway and he offers a hug. She gladly accepts.
