had a GVF dream last night and naturally in my dream I had to log onto tumblr and tell everyone about my experience

so here I am fulfilling the prophecy

#I miss them 😔#I dreamt that I went all the way to LA to see one of their shows at a small outdoor venue #very intimate and there was no pit !!! It was GA but no pit !!! CHAIRS #and the venue accommodated for my visual disability and let me in early so for the first time in my life I had a good view at a GVF show LOL #Jake was wearing the dragon suit from DIG #I think Sam was wearing his original DIG suit too? it was also black #Danny was wearing his Starcatcher outfit #and Josh was wearing a new jumpsuit that was white and BEJEWELED FROM HEAD TO TOE #it was sooo sparkly and pretty #so then they played a song and it was a cover (I don’t remember what song) and I was like well that’s kinda weird #and then oomf showed up and talked through the ENTIRE SECOND SONG (also a cover that I don’t remember)#and I was like well if he keeps doing this after the second song then I’m gonna tell him to be quiet #BUT THEN THEY LEFT AFTER THE SECOND SONG AND I WAS LIKE 🧍🏻‍♀️#but then I was like … well that’s the best view I’ve ever had seeing GVF so at least there’s that #anyway I haven’t listened to the boys in a hot minute but I might have to jam out on the way to church idk!#after that I had a different dream that I flew to Texas with my friend and I wanted to go to the American Girl store so I did and he left me #behind and got another flight without me KDHSJSKA ?!????#I had a lot of random and vivid dreams last night lmao #anywho…. love yall miss yall !!!!#life is finally calming down a bit but my depression is also starting to rear its ugly head again so WOMP #u win some u lose some

#have pretty much never even left brisbane let alone been on a plane or in a new city so this is major #don’t worry don’t worry this is a safe stranger so there’s no drama there it’s just someone from the aus paramore discord who wondered if #anyone else from bris was doing the same which is when the lights in my brain flipped on #we’re not doing accommodation or anything literally arriving at midnight #ubering to the venue and then just. staying lmao #it’ll certainly be a time #but it’s going to be so worth it #personal

So the other other day I went to Disney On Ice with my family and the moment I saw them, I developed one hell of a hankering for a snow cone. I knew I wanted one (despite New Zealand winter being in more-or-less full force) and I knew I had some money, so I went to scout the stalls selling them in the venue and see which one sold them for the cheapest price. If not from the Disney-themed stalls (which are always overpriced and always just for the merch inextricably tied to them), then from the stalls the venue itself had, because they actually had those and didn't completely restrict us to sacrificing our wallets to the big mouse.

Spoiler alert: THE ONLY STALLS THAT HAD THEM WERE THE DOI STALLS

AND THE SNOW CONES COST 25 NZD A PIECE

I never wound up buying a snow cone ;m;

I'm still craving one to this day, three days after the event wrapped up ;m;

i think we're gonna get a better asia tour in the future. like it's gonna include other countries he toured during ltwt (turkey, uae, philippines..) and gonna include the shows he cancelled and didn't tour before (japan, india etc) or maybe i'm delusional lol why do they take us for granted? asia is literally the biggest continent :( we deserve better

you’re a lot more hopeful than I am… and even in this best case scenario that you’ve described, treating a particular group of people like shit and then treating them right afterwards isn’t that great of a look

agree with your last sentence, we deserve better

#anon #I won’t pretend to know for sure how this stuff works #but I would think that when you cancel shows this last minute it doesn’t bode well for future deals with venues/promoters/local crews etc #not to mention fans will think a thousand times before purchasing tickets again #it’s not even about the tickets to the actual show itself because him and his team always make sure those are affordable #it’s about purchasing flight tickets and booking accommodations - most of which are non refundable #I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before but when I went to see him in Turkey the concert ticket itself was the cheapest thing I spent money on #and also right now im thanking my lucky stars I didn’t have enough time’s notice this time around #to try and schedule a whole entire international trip in order to make one of the Asian dates for this tour

Really feeling the height dysphoria tonight y'all... :))))))

#seriously there is only one grown adult man in the world alive who i know is shorter than me #most children are taller than me an adult dude of 24 fuckin years old #i can only buy children's shoes and often online because they dont really sell those in stores #i am swimming if i get an adult medium shirt and pants are always far too long for me because 30in is way too much #working anywhere is so hard because all equipment abd surfaces are far too high up for me #and then the job refuses to buy a stool or ladder tall enough to accommodate me #my father renovated the kitchen around 2 years ago and raised everything in height #the counters are now up to my neck and the cabinets are entirely unreachable but for all other folks theyre fine #even with a stool i cant reach beyond the front of the second shelf for anything #i cant even sit down in chairs unless they are table chairs and not restaurant or bar stool height #if they are i just straight up fall over trying to sit in them or the chair falls down or both #if im going to a seated event i have to research the venue first to be sure they have tiered seating and its tiered enough #otherwise i wont see anything because the person in front of me regardless of age is always far taller #the entire world already is run by folks who are against trans people like me and who dont accommodate me #doctors dont accommodate my chrochic conditions and pain at all and never have so i just suffer #and the entirety of every place house and establishment is specifically built for people above my height by tons #so i basically live in a world that wasnt made for someone like me and i just already feel like i dont belong here #and this lack of accommodation just makes it worse
