Noticing how stressed her brother had been, Lynette simply walked over and lay on top of Lyney. She was going to make sure he was not going to escape snuggle time. Not when he needed it. Her arms wrapped around his waist as her head came to rest on his chest. Soft purrs bubbled up in a rumble from her throat as she hoped it would soothe her sibling like it had for Freminet many times before.

" Ah— Lynette ?! " Surprise ripped itself from the young magician at the unexpected weight that settled atop him. The blonde had been fiddling with the puppet in his hat, doing a bit of routine maintenance, all to nearly topple over at his twin's lack of hesitation. Though their youth had known many instances of soft skinship— all hugs and cuddles and held hands to keep both cold and fear at bay— those moments had depleted over the years. Not through any diminished love, mind, but rather that those sort of things simply happened as one grew older. Lynette was no longer the timid little kitten that needed her brother to guide and protect her. She was a skilled fighter that could take care of herself. Though that didn't mean that he wouldn't still TRY to be there every step of the way.

He could scarcely recall the last time they leaned on one another this way. Had it been a few months ago ? A year ? Time really was getting away from him.

Top hat set aside, forgotten for the moment, he slowly placed a hand atop her head. ( For a brief second he thought she resembled herself of ten years prior ). Carefully minding the ears, he stroked her hair with a gentle touch. He knew better than to think she was doing this either for herself or no good reason. In fact, he'd seen her do this with Freminet several times before— and for much the same reason. Both boys had a tendency to let their thoughts get the better of them. Lyney was perhaps the WORSE of the two. Shouldering the weight of their worlds and letting no one in, all the while believing it would go unnoticed. And here he was now, precious sister drowning him in feline sympathy.

Just how concerned had he made her ?

There was guilt in his sigh, but he said not a thing. Not for a minute anyway. Opting to instead lean back with closed eyes and take in the soft rumbles as he tried to clear his mind. When the minute passed, he gave another sigh. This one guilt-free. " My dear sister, were you worried about me ? " A gentle scratch behind her ears. A soft chuckle at the thought. He was STILL putting on an act, but the tone of his voice finally admitted his weariness. " What a terrible brother I am. How ever will I make it up to you ? " Though he gave this lame jest, there was an underlying message to his words. Assurance that he was okay and gratitude for stabilizing him once more.

There was a bad storm brewing, the wind was whipping the trees around, the sound of thunder cracked in the air as rain poured. The nation of Electro was used to such storms, but people really shouldn't have been outside in them, the Oni was in his small home, not at the Gang's Headquarters when he thought he heard the sound of footsteps approaching outside. He'd push himself to his feet and open the door only to spot Thoma standing nearby.

"The hell are ya doin' out here in this? Get in here."

He'd reach out and grab the smaller male before pulling him inside his house where they'd be safe from the elements. He'd pinch the bridge of his nose and shake his head before heading to the little door in his hall and grabbing a large towel to wrap around the blond. Then he'd pick him up, not worried about the puddle in front of his door.

"Let's get ya dried off and warmed up, shall we? Ya can borrow somethin' of mine if ya want to."

The Fortress of Meropide...Aya didn't expect to go to such a place, let alone as a prisoner. She was still a bit mad about how it all went down, maybe she should have taken the duel as a way of not going to jail but it seemed unnecessary at the moment. How was she supposed to guess that Fontaine had such specific and silly laws?!

Still, all of that was for nothing when she tried to resist arrest, only making things worse. And maybe summoned a few spirits that made a lot of destruction.

As the guards patted her body for weapons, she sighed and handed over her two kaiken from her sleeves, and her talismans. So. Many. Talismans. She was honest enough to hand them over, even if Aya knew they didn't look like much. For the untrained eye, it was just a bunch of paper.

"Better take care of those, I will want them all back when I get out of here!" the woman complained to the guards, unaware of who was approaching her from behind.

While some of the words coming from the Bard's mouth had to be taken with a grain of salt, Lumine could tell that he was being genuine this time. While she might not agree with his statement about her being the most likeable person in all of Teyvat, she still appreciated his earnest efforts to cheer her up.

"Thank you. I feel honored to have the Anemo Archon speak so highly of me."

"Paimon thinks the Traveller is very likeable too! Especially when she cooks yummy food, hehe~"

"I don't know who told you that nonsense, but in this humble bard's opinion, you're the most likable person in all of Mondstadt. Maybe even all of Teyvat!" Venti moved closer and took her by the hands. "And if I ever find out who made you upset, then they will have the wrath of a God come down upon them as swiftly as the wind~"

After receiving Xiaos’s gift, Shenhe had checked in to the Inn with the intent to try to get some rest. By the time she had returned from the area, night had already fallen, and she doubted he would be there until closer to morning. After she cleaned herself up some from the event that had led her here, she found herself somewhat unsettled and made her way up to the balcony to wait instead.

On this night she had happened to be wearing the black dress that Cloud Retainer had made for her. Standing in the cool night air, her silver hair blowing in the breeze, she gazed out over the landscape looking for a sense of calm to edge out the small amount of confusion. She didn’t consider her birthday to be anything, but another day and this gift was something that stirred her more than expected.

“Xiao…” His name passed through her lips in a mere whisper, lost in thought as her fingers ran over the cool metal of the hairpin.

As soon as he moved closer, Lumine could feel the heat rise to her cheeks, painting them a deep crimson color. Would he be able to tell that her heartbeat had increased? Any control which she seemed to have earlier had completely been lost, leaving her vulnerable to his teasing.

"A...As you should be! I don't just go around kissing anyone, you know?" She huffed, crossing her arms. "But if you keep acting so cocky, I might change my mind. I'm starting to doubt whether or not you even deserve a kiss."

Scara leaned in closer, inspecting her face as he tried to discern whether or not she was just full of shit or if she knew what she was talking about. It's not like he could tell, but at least he could tease her the whole time about it.

"Oh? What an honor to be kissed by someone with such experience. I do hope you'll live up to my expectations," he smirked, his voice dripping with sarcasm as he got a little too close to her face, hoping to see her get flustered.

Ilia was still under her bed, wrapped tightly in her blanket. She had a fever and it hurt to even move. She'd never felt like this before, having been in a sterile, controlled environment her entire life before now.

The Oni would wait for Thoma to finish what he was doing, which, was likely sweeping or something before he'd wrap his arms around the smaller male and lean down a bit. He'd use his hands to slowly turn his boyfriend around, a grin playing at his lips for more than a few moments before he chuckled softly.

"Sorry, I needed attention. At least I was patient and waited for ya to finish what ya were doin' huh?"

He'd lean down the last bit and press his lips to Thoma's, humming as he tightened his hold on the blond. He was glad he'd cleared the air about words he'd said to Thoma before, regarding how he'd known the other was an 'outlander' but that didn't change the fact that he adored the blond in the least. Thoma not being an Inazuman native didn't change how the larger male felt at all. He'd pull back from the kiss and lick his lips a bit.

"Hmm, did Ayato make ya eat somehin' weird again?"

He'd tasted SOMETHING on the other male's lips but couldn't quite place it. He knew of Ayato's eccentricities regarding what he fed or gave Thoma to eat or drink. For a Commissioner, Ayato was kind of... weird. That was probably one of the reasons he got on so well with the Oni though.

When she was in her qilin form, Xiao was more approachable and she always appreciated his company, but she was typically frightened to approach him because he would always withdraw from people. However, she was taken aback when he abruptly changed into his little bird shape. She had no idea he had an animal form similar to hers, but then again, he is an adepti just like her. With a gentle bleat, she nuzzled the small bird that was curled up on her back.

Xiao smiled slightly as he continued to pet her head. It was strange to see her in this form, but she was quite adorable. After a few moments, he decided to join her in the fun, his current form turning into a small bird which nestled on her back.

Alhaitham had been laying back on the divan, reading a book before Kaveh had crawled on top of him. He though the blonde was coming for a cuddle, as had been a frequent activity they'd been engaging in. Lounging together on the divan at the end of the day, talking, or just enjoying one another's company.

When his book was taken from him, his place was marked and it was set aside on the low table.

Instead of a conversation, heated kisses were exchanged. Much more heated than they had exchanged so far. Alhaitham had be fairly upfront with the fact they were going to let Kaveh take the lead in moving their relationship forward into sexual territory. As the Scribe tended to have less emotional intimacy and more sexual actions due to having more casual relationships. But he wanted more with Kaveh.

That didn't mean his hands didn't wander Kaveh's body softly. Lingering on his hips, on his waist, and arms. Or that his sweet kisses didn't lingers in sensitive spots. And now being straddled on the divan, and kissed passionately, his hands removed the sash around Kaveh's waist, so he could slide his hands underneath Kaveh's shirt. Not too far. Not too much. Kaveh was leading. As much as every sweet noise from Kaveh made Alhaitham want to hear more.

The scribe was so caught in the kissing, the listening, and touching every inch of Kaveh's skin he hadn't realized his belt had become undone. He wasn't Aware what was going on on in Kaveh's head until, the blonde started started kissing down his neck and chest, and working Alhaitham's pants and briefs down his hips.

He looked down, the sight almost didn't make him say anything. Of Kaveh kissing his way down to his hard and free cock. He could feel his whole face was flushing from the sight.

"You don't have to - We can just keep doing what we were doing and I can deal with that after,"

It was always going to be better because of the emotional connection with Kaveh. It was always going to take him apart in a way that sex hadn't with others.

Sex was good, Alhaitham liked sex.

This was an expression of love, a visceral , carnal expression. Archons, it was better.
