Of my Vestiges, only Maggie met the Hooded Figure. She was approached on behalf of a Benefactor who wanted her to take care of a very important, very lucrative job. Maggie, who needed to take any job she could get, went to the meeting spot and... well, we all know how that ended.

Venaya was a member of a Nocturnal Cult that had made residence in the Twilight Sepulcher. However the Sepulcher was attacked by the Worm Cult, and Venaya was one of the cultists who was captured and sacrificed. The others were slaughtered.

Niraen was a Dominion Marine fighting in Cyrodiil; her unit had made camp for the night. After several hours of strange noises that were mostly written off as wild animals, the Worm Cult ambushed the camp and Niraen was captured for sacrifice.

How did your vestige end up meeting the Hooded Figure? Was it by chance? Did they mistake her for someone else? Lemme know I’m curious

I now know how Venaya gets involved with Caius' shit. Namely, she progressed Julan's personal quest to the point where they went to meet Mashti. Julan asked Ven about stuff she was meant to be doing, which brought up Caius and the fact she hadn't done anything for him. In my mind, she's like 'yeah I was abducted and forcefully deported and I suspect that this guy works for the Emperor for some kind of Imperial Scheme' and Julan is like 'well maybe if you do some jobs for him, we can find out what the Empire's up to and put a stop to it!'

And Venaya avoided that by doing Mages Guild stuff... until no one had any work for her because she somehow doesn't meet the requirements for Wizard, and she's like 'well shit I need something to do.'

So basically she gets involved with Caius in an effort to fuck with the Empire and because she had nothing better to do XD

💀 - Does your OC have any phobias?

Lava. She really hates the stuff and will do anything to avoid it. Ironic since she's a dunmer and her homeland has entire rivers of it, but after being horrifically burned in a lava river by the Cammona Tong, she's never felt comfortable near the stuff since. Every time a quest has sent her into a volcano, she's wished she could be literally anywhere else because fuck lava.

🍩 -Who is your OC’s arch-nemesis or rival?

Magister Gothren. Ever since her run in with him in Vvardenfell, she's longed to have a reason to kill him because fuck that guy. So imagine her delight when, seven hundred years later, she's told that if she wants to be Hortator of the Telvanni, she'll have to kill Gothren. She's literally ecstatic to have an excuse to kill him, its one of those little things that brings her great joy (and scares Julan ngl).

Otherwise she's not really got any rivals per say because she's always made an effort to avoid that kind of attention... even though she failed miserably to go unnoticed by the Pact.

✏️ - How often do you draw/write about the OC?

Not as often as I should ;-; I've done a couple of lil oneshots with her, but honestly she deserves more

okay yeah, Venaya wouldn't waste any time after seeing the fabricants, she knows what they are and where they come from. She'd contact Divayth Fyr about getting access to the Clockwork City's vault, and head there straight away without any faffing about.

Soooo Venaya has corprus now, and I've spent a lot of this playthrough trying to figure out how that'll work with her whole Immortal-Vestige/Daedric-Goop deal because there needs to be actual consequence to her contracting the disease. Like, she can't just kill herself and come back magically healed.

So I figure that even if she does die, when she reforms, she still has corprus, and it always resumes from the starting stages of the disease. So without a cure, she could reach a point of unbearable agony, die by accident/on purpose, and then just start all over from the beginning and re-experience the whole disease all over again :)

Because corprus wasn't fucked up already.

2nd Era: go collect some books. What?! Shalidor wants you to be embroiled in his homoerotic drama with Sheogorath?! You'll need to collect some books to solve this!

3rd Era: go get some mushrooms, put this fake soul gem in my rival's desk, now go get this guy to join our club - if he refuses, murder him ^^
