You're not sure how far out you've come now from your boss's cozy estate. And all for a little meat. Okay, that' was a lie. It's a lot and he's depending on you to get it back so that his fancy cooks can prepare it for a meal. Normally you would've protested against it and asked him to send some of his lowblood servants after it, but apparently it was of the utmost importance and only you could do it so efficiently. 

And so began the chase for various beasts in the woods, or wherever else they started running to. It didn't matter. You'd gathered a fair amount to this point, but you needed more still. As fate would have it, the beast you were currently after just seemed to want to run, infuriatingly. Your chase had gone on now for a few minutes, with little success on your end.

Your knives had at best made shallow cuts as they whizzed past it, or hit trees and completely missed their marks with a "thunk." If only you could catch up to it, or corner it, you'd be sure that you would win the fight here. Even taking into consideration your slight winded-ness, you were still more than a match for it. 

Your run gradually slows down as you try and locate the beast. It didn't lose you, no...just had to give it a minute. Examining your surroundings after leaning on a tree for support, you broke out into a run once again to find your prey.

I try to avoid being caught in situations where such decisions of life and death must be made. However, given the hypothetical situation in which I must choose:

I would be moirail to Dosime. My broodmate has never lost her grubhood sense of invulnerability and I fear it will end for the worse if she does NOT have someone to reign her in. -RQ

I would pail Veekoh. I do still feel for her, after all, and there is NO denying her beauty. But there would be NO sense in complicating our relationship outside the CONtext of a question like this. -RQ

That would leave Velira, UNfortUNately, to be the one culled. I bear her NO ill will, but when it comes down to it I simply do NOT have as personal a CONnection to her as I do the others. -RQ
