Huh, and to think if they had delayed TROS a few more months they could have told us Rey went to the Lars Homestead to practice “Social Distancing”...

And there’s no Ben ghost cause he totally cares for Rey IN-THAT-WAY, people...

But, in all seriousness, things are scary right now. I’m in GA, but I have a cousin in MA who has been quarantined. The bright side is what you have to cling to.

Love or hate TROS it’s streaming now and the novelization is out today. I just started the novelization on my Kindle (I believe the Kindle app is also free for most phones and computers, there’s also Audible where you can get a free audiobook trial, or Walmart ebooks that offers $5 off for new customers). So far I’m enjoying the extra details and dialogue I WISH had been included in the movie.

And if it’s still not your thing, there’s some awesome Reylo artists who have ebook graphic novels. Off the top of my head I’m thinking Velharthis Comics and Miss Bliss.

And fanfiction is free! Write some even!

If you’re having anxiety, I also like using free apps like Happify, Sanvello, and 7 Cups.

I've started Velharthis - Book Three! This is both a page from chapter 1, which I'm working on, and a test page for layout, font, etc. Velharthis is my webcomic: Jenise dreams of becoming one of the greatest warriors in Tyr. There's only one problem: She doesn't have anyone to train her! After her grandfather dies, Jenise heads south to join the army and train as a mighty warrior. On her journey, she meets Peter, a competent fighter and erstwhile prince with questionable manners and a dark past. Peter offers to escort Jenise to Auphretes, and together they set out on a journey across a land on the brink of war and ruled by a magic called Alchemy. A new chapter of Velharthis is up!

Jenise faces off against Hexten. Will she win or get her ass totally kicked? What about Peter? This is the last chapter in book 2. Book 3 will start later this year.

Almost done the watercolour comic pages for Velharthis: Book Two. These are book-only bonuses.

I work on Arches cotton paper, so they need to be reflattened after painting. You can do that by using a damp cloth (on the back) and putting the pages between some large heavy books.

I’ll add the comic boxes and text digitally. I’ll do that after scanning. This is why flattening helps a lot - makes it easier to scan.
