FLASHBACK TO JULY 19TH 1982; JARED TRISTAN PADALECKI CAME INTO THIS EARTH. Let me tell you something about this man, just listen to me here. PSA: The date I'm typing this is 5/14/16, 34 days before His birthday. I was taught that when you want to say something positive to someone, it's always better to say it than to die questioning whether they needed to hear it. I could EASILY type out pages upon pages upon essays of how so deeply in love I am with this generous people mechanic the world was blessed with, but I feel many people already know about my insanely positive opinion on Him, so I won't strain my thumbs typing extra stuff we all understand. NOW, I'm here to talk facts about my hero. (SIDE NOTE: I'm crying- no, sobbing- as I type this out you guys have no idea. Cliche fangirl move, right? Ha. I'm funny and relatable.) C'mon, we're talking about a man here that will use EVERY SINGLE FIBER IN HIS 6'4 EMOTIONAL TEXAN DOG LOVING VESSEL TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY- despite going through his most definitely unfair share of struggles himself in both his younger and older years he's pushed his issues aside to teach others how to always keeps fighting and rises above THEIR struggles. Never in my ENTIRE LIFE will I ever love someone like the certain special way I love Jared, never in my entire life will I ever be so specifically inspired by a person, AND NEVER. IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. WILL I EVER RECEIVE A HUG LIKE THE HUGS IVE GOTTEN FROM JARED AND YOU KNOW WHY? BECAUSE JARED FRIKIN TRISTAN PADALECKI DOESN'T JUST WRAP HIS ARMS AROUND YOU, NO HES NOT THAT MAINSTREAM- HE SQUEEZES YOU INTO HIS CHEST IN SUCH A WAY IT KNOCKS THE AIR OUT OF YOUR LUNGS & LETS YOU KNOW YOU ARE NOT ALONE, AND HE'S GOING TO MAKE SURE YOU NEVER ARE. 6 additions of Always Keep Fighting (Love Yourself First/You Are Enough) shirts have been made. (& bought by me as soon as gone on sale because how could you NOT.) So late to this train, but...

During Vegas Con 2016, the boys are asked how they knew their partners were the one. Watch how uncomfortable they get!

Jared: “Jared and Jensen, when did you first meet your future ex-wives?” He’s jesting, obviously, but I would never joke about something like that. The thought of my boyfriend being my future ex is just too horrid.

Jared thinks long and hard for what to say, eventually finding the words. He speaks of a she while Jensen sits next to him with a stony expression on his face. He talks of how he didn’t want to see anyone else after their first date, about how he feels loved even when he can’t love himself and how (s)he makes him a better person. He can’t look at Jensen while he speaks, but once he’s done, he pats Jensen’s knee as if to say “You know you’re the one for me, don’t be fooled by the pronoun.”

Meanwhile, Jensen has had time to think. Watch how different his response is! He holds eye contact with Jared, carefully keeping any gender pronouns out of his reply. He speaks of how his partner was somewhere in between destiny and a leap of faith (makes sense, as Jensen is said to be a little reserved), but he does not regret choosing to take a chance with the partner of his choice.

Phew. I’m getting some serious chills down my spine from watching this. I get the feeling they’re not really talking about their wives here. Jared is just too careful not to look at Jensen, as if he fears losing composure. Jensen, on the other hand, is solid as a rock, as if standing in support of his man. It feels like he’s convincing Jared, “You’re my one, too. We’ve been through so much, but I don’t regret choosing you.”
