What up all you omnivores always like "you know what's a good condiment for meat? More meat!" Hot dog? That needs ground beef! Ground beef? Let's put bacon on that! Steak? Yeah well duh a lobster goes on there! . Guess what, us vegetarians and vegans can do that too. . You know what's "lit"? Squash with a condiment of more different squash, that's what's lit. . Here's the warm kale salad with roasted delicata, smokey seminole pumpkin "bacon," pine nuts, and roasted pumpkin seeds, and vegan sausage, in ALL ITS GLORY. The smokey, roasty, caramel flavors go so beautifully well with the purple kale varieties, especially now they're sweetened up properly with cold weather. Absolutely one of my favorite recipes. Cut delicata in rings, roast 375 for 30-40 minutes with olive oil with one flip at half time. Throw in nuts and seeds in the last 5 minutes. Marinate thin-cut moschata squash in liquid smoke, aminos, touch of maple, and maybe dietary yeast. Fry like bacon in oil with a touch of sesame oil. Add crumbled vegan sausage. I did fieldroast apple sausage. Quick wilt the kale after removing bacon. Combine ingredients and mix.
