Repost from @veganwise Cults are something I worry about daily as a Catholic. But Vegans are like a group of true Christians to me. We don’t care where you came from, we don’t care what your belief system is, we just want to eat good food and have a good time. We want to get along. And we would like the best for the world we live in. While Christians do so spiritually, we want to do so economically, health wise, and for humanity. If you are religious and vegan, here’s a good thing to say that have even confused the nuns at my church: “Your goal is to create world peace through a unified church. Your goal is to make sure everyone goes to heaven. Well my goal is to make sure that everyone does not get sick while they’re working on going to heaven. I want to end world hunger so there’s no mistake that there isn’t a god. If everyone went vegan, there would be no world hunger, and therefore, no justification to not think there was a greater power at work.
