The fifth attempt. The fifth person.
Has sky blue eyes. And a strawberry birthmark over their collarbone and one on their cheek. They smile brightly and love kids and Eddie meets them at a restaurant that serves only vegan food. They’re friendly and easy to talk to because they’re gentle and smart and genuine. They’re passionate about family and cooking and putting love, happiness, and kindness out into the world and helping people in need.
They kiss Eddie’s cheek at the end of the night and thank him not just for dinner but for listening and meeting them in the first place. And it’s a nice kiss. He doesn’t hate it. It doesn’t make his skin crawl. He doesn’t instinctively recoil. It’s sweet. It could hold warmth. It could maybe trigger echoes of a heartbeat. Maybe.
A heartbeat knocked out of synchronicity with a single bolt of lightning that left its match silent.
Eddie drives out into the darkness, somewhere, anywhere, and then has to pull over and sob all over his steering wheel. For no reason. For every reason.
When he comes home, Chris is already in bed and Buck is stretched out on his sofa. His legs are crossed at his ankles and propped up on the arm of the couch. He has one of Chris’ textbooks in his hands. Of course he does. But he closes it when Eddie shuts and locks the front door behind him.
“So, how was this one?” Buck tips his head, curious but somehow condescending. “Looks like you made it over the two hour mark. Unless you got lost driving around again. You know your phone has a very convenient, already installed app that will tell you directions to and from places if you plug addresses into it. Then you never get lost and stuck in traffic.”
Yeah. Because Google maps or whatever other equivalent programs always have 100% accuracy and the directions are crystal clear.
Because lost isn’t a thing permanently attached to Eddie?
Every time it seems like he shakes it, it always comes back and finds him. Irony of ironies.
“Come on,” Buck urges. “You can tell me. What was wrong with this one?”
Reminiscence.
The smell of ozone and rainstorms. The taste of iron and metal. The bruises and burns left in his flesh. The dying, broken-winged hummingbird living in his chest that can’t fly, can’t eat, can’t touch, can’t live. The ribs cracking, breaking beneath his hands.
The dead, un-beating heart.
The precious beautiful heart he loves and cherishes more than his own life.
“Nothing,” Eddie answers but that isn’t true. “Everything. One thing.”
He can’t move from the door. His legs won’t work. He can look and stare into the middle of the room but he can’t see anything but a swaying lifeless body against a thundering, flashing sky.
Buck scoffs and pushes himself up until he’s sitting and can focus attention on Eddie. “That doesn’t make any sense.”
No. It doesn’t. Does anything make any sort of fucking sense? Does it make sense that one second Buck was standing on the ladder, working a hose, working on a fire, not doing anything particularly risky or dangerous, but the next second he was dead and hanging in midair?
Does it make any sense that Eddie can’t taste anything can’t feel anything can’t sleep can’t think can’t see anything but that moment where electricity burst through him like it wanted to end him, too?
It did. It did end him. His own heart stopped in the same moment. It just wasn’t the same way.
Eddie shrugs and takes off his shoes. He sets downs his keys. He shrugs off his jacket. His legs are rigid and numb. But they get him to the couch where he sits beside Buck. Not touching. Never touching. Touching is burning needing longing craving fire electricity desperation losing fading breaking.
Buck hums, then sets Chris’ book on the coffee table. “You gonna give this one another shot?”
It’s a science book. Because Buck will read ahead and find fun experiments to demonstrate concepts and science is always their favorite. They make volcanoes out of lemons and grow beansprouts in the windowsill and make battery circuits from potatoes. They do homework together and bake cookies together and play games and watch movies and make popcorn while Eddie goes out and tries to make his heart beat again.
“No.” Eddie picks up the half drunk bottle of beer sitting on the table and downs a good third of what is left.
Why would he? What would the point even be? Every single thing would just make him think of the one thing he needs and can never have. The only reason there was a chance of him feeling anything at all is because every single fucking thing about them screamed Buck and Buck and Buck.
Buck takes the bottle and gives him a suspicious side eye but looks elsewhere when he drinks and says, “Why not? You liked this one.”
Eddie bites his tongue, bites it, and bites it and still never tastes blood. “What makes you say that?”
“Well, you immediately complained about the others.” Buck leans back against the couch and tucks one leg underneath him. He’s wearing clothes he sometimes sleeps in. Soft black lounge pants, a thin hoodie that stretches tight across his chest, and fuzzy gray socks. And a pale green henley underneath the hoodie. That doesn’t technically belong to him. But looks really good on him. “So. Why no second date? Or are only first dates your thing? You going to make your way through all the eligible singles in Los Angeles and then pick one for a repeat?”
“Maybe I’m just tired. There are reasons I was never into going out with anyone. It’s superficial and people lie and how can you ever randomly stumble into something that means anything? Or that works? Or lasts?”
Buck hands the bottle back over to him. “What was the one thing?”
Eddie’s stomach tightens but he grips the bottle tightly and the cold wet glass at least feels something like how he feels. Saturated, frozen, fragile. “What one thing,” he asks without actually needing to know.
“You said one thing was wrong.”
“I also said everything was wrong.”
“Yeah, but first you said nothing was wrong. So which is it? What doomed this potential progress?”
Is there ever going to be progress? Is he ever going to find someone he wants more than always coming home to his partner and his son in another world where the three of them are actually a family?
“Come on, Eds. What’s the one thing?”
Eddie shrugs and finishes the beer. “The same thing that’s wrong with all of them.”
Buck looks at him expectantly. With that curious, sweet expression he gets whenever he hangs onto every word Eddie says. “What’s that?”
They’re not Buck.
“I don’t feel anything,” is what Eddie tells him though. Which is also true. And also the problem. He stands and starts for his bedroom but can’t help looking back at Buck curled up on his couch, wearing his shirt. “I’m tired. I’m going to go to bed. You want to stay over?”
Buck’s beautiful clear eyes are glassy but he blinks it away. “Always.”

Hot take, but veganism is a direct pipeline to ecofascism and as such has no place in Leftist circles.
First, veganism, with its holier-than-thou attitude creates elitism among those who follow it, more often than not accompanied by disdain and straight up contempt for non-vegans (often including pescatarians, vegetarians, fruitarians etc.). This creates division of us-vs-them typical for right-wing circles (and, just by the way, is also the groundstone for building up a genocidal ideology) instead of building a community ans bridging differences typical for leftist ideologies.
Second, vegans often paint the vegan diet as a healthy alternative to other diets (which is, just by the way, false), and also as "green" (which is a lie, too). Hence ecofascism.
Third, consistently with previous points, veganism is an exclusionist ideology, excluding among others
indigenous people, especially Inuits, who are literally dependent of meat income. Not only because there is no other alternative for them in their natural homeland of the Arctic, but mostly because in polar climate, you need shitloads of energy in form of carbohydrates and fats in order to keep your body warm enough to prevent hypothermia. We are talking about a gigantic amount of energy that is literally impossible to gain from non-animal food sources even if there were some in the Arctics for that matter. And before you come swinging at me, yes, I have literally seen vegan assholes telling Inuits to go vegan. To demand Inuits to go vegan means demanding them either to give up their traditional way of life and centuries of cultural heritage, or go extinct by famine. In other words, we are talking about inflicting either cultural, or literal genocide of the Indigenous people of the Arctics.
people with metabollic diseases such as celiacs, but also diabetics, people with food allergies, and other. These people literally cannot live off of the vegan diet. Totally vegan society would be literally incapable of keeping these people alive. We are literally talking about eugenics here.
Fourth, vegans love to falsely claim that their dietary choice is "the natural one", saying bullshit like 'humans only ate meat for a fraction of existence of humankind on a larger scale from Australopithecus'. Not only this omits number of biological and evolutional facts, but it artificially creates the cult of antiquity, typical for all fascist regimes. (Fun fact, our ancestors, especially Homo habilis, literally developed their big brains because of their increased income of meat and particularly bone marrow).
Fifth, vegans clearly ostracize non-vegans out of their circles (see holier-than-thou attitude above), attempt to discredit them, or just straight up accuse them of being liars and murderers without any backup for their claims (because there is no such backup to begin with), dividing into us-vs-them (see point 1).
Sixth, overpopulation myth. No need to say more.
Seventh, veganism claims false ecology of its ideology (using climatic fear of society to fearmonger and to further ostracize "meateaters" and other non-vegans) while in itself being extremely eco-harmful (try look up the alternatives for animal resources, such as "vegan leather", "vegan fur" etc. It's all plastic. While there is an ecological coating instead of culturo-ethnical, this is no different from the Nazi claim of Aryan race and the danger of Untermenschen for its "racial purity".
Thus concluded, veganism is a pipeline to ecofascism and any leftist (punks included) should shy away from it.

TW FOR HOMOPHOBIA AND RACISM
I'm currently watching Disney's "Strange World" with my family.
It features an mixed race, gay protagonist.
Disney barely promoted this film, but the conservatives still found it:
Here's the ridiculous parts of the 1-star google reviews of the film I've found so far:

This, except for the vegan part. Let me correct it:
Shout out to all leftist who don't go vegan because veganism is extremely ableist, racist, and eco-harmful ideology.
Fuck vegans.
Shoutout to leftists who are too poor/disabled to give back to their community.
Shoutout to leftists who are too poor/disabled to shop at local/small businesses.
Shoutout to leftists who are poor/disabled and have to buy things from Amazon and other megacorps because it’s the most cheap or convenient.
Shoutout to leftists who are too poor/disabled to reduce their environmental footprint because they need the single-use plastics.
Shoutout to leftists who can’t go vegan because of dietary needs, disordered eating, or neurodivergence.
Shoutout to leftists who can’t volunteer or go to community events/protests/noise demonstrations because of inaccessibility.
Shoutout to leftists who can only be politically active online because they’re housebound.
Shoutout to leftists who are disabled and are rarely politically active because they simply don’t have the energy.
Shoutout to leftists who can’t be politically active because they’re under the care of a guardian or are trapped in an abusive situation, and they don’t have control over their finances/belongings.
Shoutout to leftists who can’t read theory, or who have trouble reading theory, but still do their best to learn.
Shoutout to leftists who can’t understand theory at all because of cognitive/intellectual disability.
Shoutout to leftists who want to be more active in their community but can’t because they struggle with anxiety, socializing, or maintaining relationships.
Shoutout to leftists with personality disorders, complex trauma disorders, conduct disorders, OCD, psychosis, and any other leftist whose personality or thoughts often unwillingly go against their beliefs due to a trauma response or chemical imbalance.
Shoutout to leftists who don’t have any “practical” skills that would be needed in a commune (i.e farming, building, sewing)
Shoutout to leftists who are too busy simply trying to survive to even think about being politically active.
Shoutout to leftists who have to always ask for mutual aid but can never give back.
Shoutout to all the leftists who can’t do this and can’t do that and can’t do the things that leftists are “supposed” to do. No one person is perfect.
You aren’t a fake leftist for not being able to do these things. All that matters is that you put in the effort, in whatever way that you can.
It’s not about your abilities as an individual. It’s about our power as a collective.

Mumbo Jumbo is a VAMPIRE!!! (Evidence under the cut)
Tumblr media
Evidence 1: Minecraft skin. Very pale (like a VAMPIRE) and in formal attire, as all vampires are. His moustache may just be a cover to hide his fangs.
Tumblr media
Evidence 2: Redstone. Looks suspiciously like blood. Who knows if the red splattered all over his base is his newest project or the guts of his latest victim. It's the perfect disguise.
Tumblr media
Evidence 3: Moon cult. What's one of a vampire's greatest weakness? The sun! And what's up when the sun ain't? The MOON. If the moon took over, the sun wouldn't be as prominent as it is. All a part of Mumbo's vampire agenda.
Tumblr media
Evidence 4: Potato Boy Mumbo. Vegan vampire.
Tumblr media
Evidence 5: Grian Incident. Mumbo sucked the soul out of him like a vampire sucks the blood out of someone. It's just like, an alternative method because he was his vegan phase.

I think Hobie brown is the one character I've seen written completely out of character the most
Like, he would NOT say that
He definitely is. I see people write Miles and Gwen as spot on (pun unintended). Miguel and Pavitr are usually butchered for linguistics reasons
But with Hobie, him being a punk - one from a very specific time - adds a whole new layer of difficultly and honestly. At this point, I can't even blame people.
I think Hobie's mischaracterization is caused by two primary things, one purposeful, and one not. Please allow me to rant.
Hobie Brown, Mischaracterization, and the Sanitization of Punk Culture
I think Hobie's characterization is the perfect example of the way media purposely deminished and trivialized the punk identity in order to erase it's political connotations.
In other words, people misunderstanding Hobie shows how the media warped and censored the definition of 'punk' in the last 50 years.
Tumblr media
And that's on purpose.
Let's take the hippies for an example. When you think of them, what beliefs comes to mind?
Peacefulness, usually. Pot smoking. Music loving. And Anti-war. They love peace. The phrase 'Make Love, Not War' make come to mind.
But it's easier for the media to historically display hippies as people who were opposed to war - rather than people who were openly oppossed to the Vietnamese War.
As in, they weren't just opposed to war - which they were. They were also specifically opposed to the United States government crossing borders in order to push a capitalist agenda in Vietnam.
It's easy to say hippes loved communes - then to say 'Hippies were Communist'. With a couple words switched around - sanitization.
Punk is just like that.
It's easier to focus on the response rather than the source. It's easier to look at Hobie singing than to consider what he'd be singing about in those songs.
I feel like in the past 50 years the media has purposely centered the outrage of punk around music - as a targeted distraction, and a method of silencing. This goes from the outward hatred of Sex Pistols - to a President's wife literally taking a metal band to court in order to get the 'Explicit Content label' instated for the first time.(crazyyyy long story- crazy interesting. Google 'Mary Gore vs Twister Sister' - the videos of the band in court is hilarious)
But anyway the outrage of punk music in specific and the silencing of the message behind it kinda changed the way people viewed punks.
Media very much wanted to make punk something about senseless rebellion towards everything, the same way they tried to turn anarchy into 'unending chaos that never stops', when neither of those things are true.
Basically saying 'Oh, those people over there? They aren't angry oppressed people screaming and forming a community based around resilience, those are teeennagerrs. theyre just screaming cause theyre mad at their dads or something PLEASE dont look at them PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT CHECK IF WE'RE TELLING THE TRUTH'
And so people are presented with someone like Hobie, they see the loud music, but not picking up what he's saying if you get my drift.
And the other thing I'll try to keep short.
It's not purposeful, but I think it matters.
The Internet - Subculture vs Aesthetic
I don't think this is something that's been talked about yet.
But I feel like a lot of people misunderstand what a subculture is. So when they see Hobie, they see fashion, and music taste, and attitude. They instead perceive him as an aesthetic. Not someone who participates in subculture.
Subculture is a way of life. It encompasses not only your fashion and music tastes, but it can and usually extends to things like your morals, your behaviors, the spaces you exist in, etc.
Goth, Punk, Vegans, hell - even Nudists - are all subcultures. Because they effects the persons lifestyle. Subcultures are lifestyles.
Aesthetics are not.
An aesthetic is a (usually) visual ambience that is meant to evoke a specific emotion.
Aesthetics can extend to fashion, decor, and music taste - but not your morality or behavior.
E-girls, Emos, Hipsters, what have you - all aesthetics as they do not encompass morals, or behaviors.
And because of that - there are things that do or don't make you a punk. But there aren't really things that do or don't 'make you emo'.
Aesthetics don't have conditions, but subcultures do.
You have to be anti-government to be punk. You don't have to hate your life to be emo.
(Which is why when people bring this up, people are quick to call 'gatekeeping!' Because in the context of aethetics gatekeeping is seen as unneccesary, whereas in subcultures 'gatekeping' is more so protecting the underlying beliefs and motivations of the movement. People who see Hobie as an aesthetic will find these conditions odd because they're not seeing his punkness as a subculture.)
Today on the internet, it's a lot more common and easy to engage in an aesthetic. It's not uncommon for someone to purposefully pick an aesthetic - and go all out - simply because they like it. It's great. I engage with an aesthetic all the time.
But because of that, when people see Hobie it's easy to immediately be like 'oh okay hes doing it out of fashion hes doing it because he vibes with it cool.'
They look at Hobie the way they would look at an eboy (do those still exist).
______________________________________________
Sooo mixing the censored image of a punk along with the modern-day instinct to perceive something as an aesthetic rather than a way of life kinda causes.....this.
A Hobie tag were a lot of people completely misunderstand who he is as a person and his motivations as a superhero outside of 'I hate the establishment'.
Plus add in a dash of people just being totally blank on 70's politics. The Vietnam War, Margaret Thatcher coming to power, the IRA, etc. - all of those things I think tells us a lot about Hobie. I'm currently on a piece about that and an explainer of most of those events. Or if you want a brief rundown please feel free to ask, I'll do my best.
If you wanna know Hobie more - don't listen to punk music. Go read the lyrics, if you get what I mean. They truly do have something to say.
Hope this made some sense, thanks for reading if you made it this far :) also no proofread we die like kings but ill most likely do it later and delete this note.

Wrong. It's not vegan.
Eating the rich is eco-friendly, and isn't racist nor ableist. Unlike veganism.

The Tale of Two Cities according to Stephi and Heiko - Part 476
This weekend in all countries of the European Union will be held the election to the next European Parliament. I am not going into the specifics into what the countries itself can decide on their own and which is up to the EU. It is way too complicated, especially since all countries are still sovereign countries, yet have ti abide to European Law as well. I bet you already see how this gets complicated. It got them Brits that confused that they elected to get out of the EU and are now regretting it mostly because of economic reasons, which their own government told them would be way better without the EU. It is not.
This weekend’s election is still pretty important as there seems to be a trend towards right wing parties. It looks like a lot of people have not learnt enough about what happened last century and are still/again believing nationalist’s lies. Somehow a lot of people beliebe they would be better of being in their own and keep everything else out. I hope I also don’t have to talk too much about nationalism and fascism.
And while this election is important and there are a lot of parties to worry about there are also a lot of smaller parties that are just weird. Sometimes you cannot believe what people come up with. There might be cases for veganism, elderly people and some parties can still mix their serious agenda with some humor (like „We want more ice cream“ billboards). And then there are the crazy ones like the party that wants to use science to cure humanity of all diseases and wants people live forever. They seriously put this on their posters ad it’s their one only agenda.
You see, craziness and serious agendas are pretty close together when it comes to election.
The first picture shows a poster form Munich, while the second one is from Cologne.

I think a critical flaw in the vegan’s user’s argument was that they clearly buckled down on how capitalist exploitation and overproduction factors into milk and meat markets… and then seemed to assume that vegan diets avoid capitalist pitfalls completely.
But you’ve already posted on your blog before about how crop production under capitalism has created huge environmental issues in terms of biodiversity, depletion of topsoil, and sustainability. Meaning even a non-animal diet can (especially on the scale necessary for every human being currently in existence) still create large-scale issues if that diet demands having specific foods in abundance to avoid eating meat.
Like, I’m sympathetic to what vegans want to do, it just feels like they’re ignoring a MASSIVE number of pressing logistical and environmental issues to push that agenda. There’s several intersecting problems here, and claiming humanity as a whole is poised to chuck eating animals completely seems to be jumping the gun.
This is basically exactly what I hope to convey to people. I feel like extremely pressing issues such as topsoil loss, pesticide and herbicide use, and pollution caused by nitrogen fertilizers, not to mention the severe biodiversity impacts of monoculture, are being disregarded in favor of a very simplistic "Meat is killing the Earth" argument.
And I think the "veganism to save the earth" idea is just...distracting, as a movement. I'm glad people are motivated to do it. I don't think it's bad. But we need people to take action beyond just Buy Product. Anyone telling you that the most important action you can take is Buy Different Product does not have your best interest, or the planet's best interest, in mind.
If you're eating a plant based diet, but your only relationship with your food is Buy Product, you are still alienated from the source of your food. You still don't know, and can't respect or care for, the ecosystem or the labor that gives it to you.
My agenda is far more along the lines of "society needs to be organized so more people are directly involved in growing food that feeds their community" than anything to do with animals, but it's clear to everyone who has studied it for 2 seconds that farming needs to change hugely and it's so, so much more complicated than "farming animals is bad, farming plants is good."
Also the fact is that veganism cuts you off from sources of nutrients that have been part of virtually every human society ever, a LOT of people have disabilities, allergies or nutrient absorption issues that mean going vegan isn't possible for them, and people who try to argue with me about this simply Stop knowing how to read when this is brought up. "Some people need animal protein to live" is a reality of the world but people who don't like this straight up refuse to consider it.
I have no food allergies or sensitivities, and I still struggle to eat enough food to live. I lost thirty fucking pounds in college because of stress, the dining hall being shit, and my roommate trying to control my eating habits (long story). Thats like...well over 1/5 of my body weight. Sometimes people Cannot restrict their diet safely.
Like, sure, I 85% agree with the vegans who like to comment on my posts, but the remaining 15% of things they say is completely insane.
And some of them are so out of touch with reality that they will swear up and down that it's impossible for humans to drink milk without someone having to murder a baby animal. They seem to think farming is exclusively some kind of horror show that happens in a warehouse somewhere, and don't understand the concept that "some people live in rural areas" or "it's not uncommon in some places to just keep a few dairy goats that provide milk for your family."
And if they admit this exists, it's like "well, that's not where your dairy comes from, because the INDUSTRY—" thats. that's my point, you can get milk from a farmer who keeps a small herd that is well treated, we should start doing this actually, you can even keep your OWN goat
my ideal world involves "backyard chickens and goats are legal in suburban areas where there's space" because there's literally nothing innately unethical about keeping a couple dairy goats or healthy heritage breed chickens and you can quote me on that and you can even fight me.
That one person (the one who kept bringing up eating poop) (Lord what a sentence to have to write) eventually turned to "Well those sources are wrong because governmental organizations want you to keep eating animal products" which is already well into "conspiracy theory" territory. No thanks.

Whenever a disabled person's post on vegan ableism gets any popularity you find the same responses from angry vegans.
"Um, actually, veganism is about harm reduction. So you can be vegan and eat meat if you need to. Please educate yourself because you are being veganphobic right now."
"I smelled someone with your stated disability once so I know you are lying about having it to further your anti-vegan agenda!"
"No person needs to eat meat or use animal-based products. Stop lying!"
"Nature is important so if you must eat meat or use animal-based products to live, you should just die."
"Veganism does not have an ableism problem. You only think that because you listen to That Vegaon Teacher, Vegan Art Book, and other cringy vegans while ignoring upstanding vegan activists. Like Peter Singer."

Old man Terry slipping lactation pills in beloved's drinks and food and relishing in the way her body changes and her breasts become heavier, fuller, sore, bigger. I think he would do it as a means to control beloved and to obviously drink from it daily, believing it has benefits or something. When she lactates for the first time and is so confused, he feigns concern and gives her pills that he makes her believe it's for her health but it's to keep her producing milk. His good little calf.
Tumblr media
---
Of course it has benefits; mother's milk is the fountain of youth. Didn't you hear?
If Cleopatra could bathe in it, Terry Silver can drink it.
If it's good for a newborn, it's even better for an aging, power hungry Billionaire hellbent on quite literally latching unto and sucking dry whatever controlled and highly vetted source of health, longevity and strength he can like a vampire, and what a more fitting place for it to stem from than his very own beloved? Milk. It does a body good. A famous commercial from the 80's and 90's might come to Terry's mind as the idea occurs to him and of course the maintenance of a physique like his well into his sixth decade being alive doesn't come cheap (cheap, and not in the material sense, because Terry's more than willing to dish out cash) in fact, utilizing basic logic, it would be more and more complicated with each passing year; constant training, dedication, therapy, steam baths, devotion to the sport, very specific dietary choices. Yesterday, it was vegan screws and salads, but he so happens to find beloved's milk infinitely more appetizing, inviting and decadent to the degree he can and would induce their lactation through specific pills. Crushed in meals, crushed in beverages, crushed in a fine wine as they toast together over an intimate, romantic fine dinner for two. How very unassuming --- but he's here with an agenda. Terry Silver not only seeks rejuvenation because youth is the only thing money cant buy according to his own words, but he wants to consume in the general sense of the word. Consume beloved until they flow through his bloodstream, his organism, infused with his very bones; the things he breaks stone slabs with with such ease. The things he fights with. When he's in the midst of combat, it's like beloved's right there, alive and infused inside of his knuckles. You are what you eat, after all.
And of course, being Californian upper crust, he'd hear and see things.
He'd hear and see things for decades --- no doubt having participated too.
Celebrities eating their baby's placenta, Gwyneth Paltrow's beauty regimen that includes bee stings, Sandra Bullock's Hemorrhoid Eye Cream, Cate Blanchett's Foreskin Facials and Demi Moore's Leech Therapy. Hollywood's right next door. It would make Terry Silver's propensity for the strange and unusual almost seem commonplace; him drinking beloved's breast milk? Just another Wednesday in The Valley.
But, he cares. Of course he cares with every fiber of his being and his big, black heart. He tracks every change, every reaction, every sore and every bit of swelling surrounding beloved's body, perfectionist, control freak that he is. Their every complaint. Every bit of fluctuating transformation. Every bit of pain. Hell, he'd even bring in (a bribed off) doctor or ten to regularly check on beloved and quell any fears they might have by assuring them this is totally normal. It happens when someone's young and fertile; it is simply their concern he isn't truly surprised by because everything is going according to his plan and if he feigns anything, it's mostly innocence. But, Terry's far from innocent. This is him desiring to be one with beloved in every sense, consuming them, dominating them, wishing to take whatever he can from their youth and in equal measure, no doubt in mind it's a fetish too because the exchange simply turns him on. He is a dirty old man and he deliberately plays into it and just how very dirty and debauched he can be and that all by itself serves as a gleeful kink precisely because it's total filth. Total filth that totally amuses him. Perhaps even more so that he can expertly get beloved to actually allow him to drink from their breasts of their own volition to alleviate their pressure and pain they're feeling and have them thank him no less once it actually helps, perhaps utilizing a few well-learned massage moves of his as a gateway to everything that comes later.
