Diego Ricol: En México se realizó la primera edición de Muestra de Cine Venezolano

En la primera muestra de cine venezolano realizada en la Ciudad de México bautizada “Venezcine”, se presentaron por cuatro días proyecciones de una selección de películas venezolanas de los últimos años en formato de ficción, documental y cortometraje, que abordan diversas temáticas y géneros, con títulos nominados y premiados internacionalmente.

La muestra abrió una ventana en ese país a lo mejor del séptimo arte venezolano y construyó puentes culturales entre México y Venezuela, al propiciar un espacio para la pluralidad, la creación y el reconocimiento.

Esta fiesta cultural para la comunidad cinéfila, tanto venezolana como mexicana y latina en general, que hace vida en México, fue presentada en las instalaciones del Cine Tonalá. Además de las proyecciones, hubo una presentación de los directores, productores y actores, para hablar de sus experiencias, apreciaciones y perspectivas en conversatorios posteriores a la proyección.

Las películas que se apreciaron a través de “Venezcine” fueron:

La comedia “Más Vivos que Nunca” de Alfredo Anzola

El documental  “Nos Llaman Guerreras” de Jennifer Socorro, Edwin Corona Ramos y David Alonso

“Salta” de Marianne Amelinckx (drama romance)

“Lucy” de  Roberto Gutiérrez (romance)

“El Hombre de Cartón” de  Michael Labarca (drama)

“Ramón” de Hernan Jabes (comedia)

“Antö” de Joe Torres (sci-fi)

“Harina” de  Joanna Cristina Nelson (drama)

“Tisure” de Adrián Geyer (narrativa experimental)

La proyección de “La Familia” de Gustavo Rondón

A pesar de la crisis que ha enfrentado Venezuela en los últimos años, el cine se ha mantenido en pie en manos de creadores veteranos y emergentes que no han dejado morir su arte y la industria; acudiendo en algunos casos a la coproducción con otros países así como cintas venezolanas que se han hecho con inversión privada.

En el marco de esta primera muestra de cine venezolano, se presentó una muestra de artistas plásticos venezolanos residentes en México, como Alberto Spinetti, Maurizio Cataldo, Guillermo Coll, José Augusto Paradisi y Luis Riera.

La fiesta cinematográfica contó con un toque musical con la presentación de los jóvenes cantantes: Lolita De Sola y Samuel Sánchez ambos artistas nóveles venezolanos.

Este esfuerzo mancomunado fue posible gracias a la alianza de Carla Müller con 4×4 Producciones y sus socias María Gabriela Díaz y Diana Díaz, en conjunto con Catherina Cardozo y la productora Eventlife México y sus socios Luis del Villar y Luis Ugueto, y Rodrigo Llamozas director de programación del Veff en conjunto con Irene Yibrin.
