ONE MORE THING BEFORE I SLEEP

Since the beginning of me beholding this fsndom, I've seen lots of people headcannon that Mr. Plant sleeps with his petals closed or cocoons Argos in his petals when they smorch.

And I always thought that was super cute and also fun that he could potentially just manuever them freely however he wants or needs.

So like...

Imagine Mr. Plant lazily laying on his couch and watching TV and someone walks into his void.

He can't be arsed to move his arms, he's very cozy where he is. But his petals are always open for all to see.

Imagine one of his petals bending at the tip like he's waving Hello at you. 🥺

I mean unless he's angry that you walked in he's also probably not looking at you. But he'll still acknowledge you with a petal hello.

It's also fun thinking about his petals moving or twitching the way most animal ears might. Like if he shivers or feels uneasy they may twitch a little or something I dunno.

Petals. Dumb headcannons. Void Monster thing. Yes.

i love thinking about Argos' days going back and fourth between peaceful happy storybook scenarios to horrible traumatizing (not always for him) events on the regular.

One day he's out in the park having a picnic with himself and he gets visited by a mother duck and her little ducklings! And Argos gets to excitedly feed them peas or whatever he has on hand and its cute and sweet i guess. And then maybe in the same day Argos learns Mr. Plant has a(nother) stalker and so he plots how to remove them from the picture because it wouldn't do to risk Mr. Plant's safety like that! 😤 And only Argos is allowed to know things about Mr. Plant.

But it doesn't quite go as planned and the whole ordeal is messy and prolonged and arduous and Argos has the worst aftermath to clean up and dispatch. So he just slides this sludge of a leftover being into his basement or garden or wherever he keeps his carnivorous plants, and Argos let's them take care of the rest.

Yummy.

And then there's just enough time left in the evening for tea and to put together tomorrow's activities for the kids!

Is it going to rain? Maybe they'd like to do chalk drawings outside if it's nice. Oh look, a shooting star!

Back in January I made a comic about Argos experiencing Mr. Plant laughing for the first time.

But like

What about Mr. Plant experiencing Argos crying for the first time??

He just doesn't know how to react and he's concerned and feels a little guilty even. At first- which is a rare feeling for Mr. Plant. He wonders if maybe he caused it but no, Argos is just feeling overwhelmed by life.

This time.

And since Mr. Plant doesn't like touch, I imagine physical intimacy and comfort do not come naturally to him, and since he doesn't talk that's really all he can do in the moment.

So I'm just imagining him standing there, wringing his hands while Argos sobs over some built up stress and Mr. Plant is wracking his mind for all those rare moments where physical comfort was a thing in his life and he just

Awkwardly reaches out to give two clumsy pats on Argos' head and just leaves his hand there for a moment.

Just a really stiff, wordless "there there..?"

It's enough to make Argos stop crying, if only because he's startled and confused, but once he realizes what Mr. Plant is trying to do he can't help but smile.

Mr. Plant is trying.

And now that pressing issue of crying Argos is handled, Mr. Plant can focus on other ways to make him feel better for the rest of the day.

Argos who streams and had to do all the convincing in the world to get Mr. Plant to join him during them. He still won't cause he doesn't like the idea of being in front of an audience as often as Argos is, but he'll mod for Argos and when he's feeling more up to being in the spotlight, Mr. Plant will use those dumb text to speech functions to make snarky or cryptic comments at chat or about the game.

Argos has one of those stupid little vtuber models.

Mr. Plant does not hesitate to ban or fuck with chat.

While I was thinking about dressing up as Mr. Plant next year for Halloween, I was also thinking...

Ashur has like perfect posture or whatever.

But I always picture Mr. Plant with kind of a slouch.

Not super dramatic but like, arms kind of hanging in front of him while he stares unblinking at you.... and you aren't sure if he's just lost in thought or if he's contemplating lunging at you from where he is.

I don't remember if I ever brought that up before.

Either way, it's gonna be fun trying to make a Mr. Plant mask.

Kinda been sitting on these charts since August. 🥴 I filled them out back then but only showed them to one friend lmfaoo and since then they've just been collecting dust for months. I thought they'd be fun to post but i was lazy cause i felt like i'd have to... edit out some sliders.

It was a little tough for me to fill out just because I'm always jumping around AU's and timelines in my head so often that I start overthinking some of my answers lmfaooo.

I'm still at on the clock and taking calls but while I have a minute I'm thinking about 🎉"the child"🎉 from the latest twomp episode.

Do you think Humphrey will end up in the orphanage Argos works at and we'll see him again?

I don't know how likely that is or even if it does happen, how often it would be for him to make an appearance but it's a funny thought to me.

Imagine Argos and Mr. Plant getting pestered by this child-thing about when they're going to adopt him.

And Argos feels awkward and bad about it cause he knows Mr. Plant has no intentions of doing that.

I always like to think that Argos can be just as intense about his friendships as he can be about his romantic relationships.

He may not fixate on you the exact same way as his partners, but if you've declared yourself a friend of Argos and he feels the same way, then you've automatically strapped yourself in for life.

Whether you like it or not.

He doesn't get to keep a lot of friends after all, so he'll do everything he can to make sure you don't go anywhere.

But he's a silly guy who likes to help the best he knows how! So how bad can it be?
