music & vocaloids month ; fifth day.
synopsis: Sex with Ouka and Issa was always amazing (even if you were sore for a week after it).
# tags: scenario; friends with benefits; romance; smut; nsfw
warnings: threesome (m/f/m), double penetration, sex on the couch, butt fuck, sore pussy, hair pulling, tits sucking, slut & pet names
includes: female reader ft. ouka kira & issa kiduku {vazzrock}
Your eyes were full of tears, your hair more tangled than ever, and a trickle of sticky saliva was coming out of your mouth. You closed your both eyes as Issa entered your ass harder and at the same time Ouka tightened his hands on your hips trying to push his own pelvis up to feel the warmth of your pussy even better. The double stimulation was disgustingly satisfying for you. Your thoughts were obscured by pleasant pain and orgasms spreading one after another. The two men had a great time seeing your facial expressions and body language; for two friends, sex with you was the best pleasure and the best reward for a well-played concert.
“... We’ve been fucking for so many months, the three of us, and you’re still so damn tight. It’s amazing, baby.” The white-haired singer tightened his fingers on your skin, and you only opened one eye, moaning under your breath; your breathing was rapid and your heart was beating several times faster than normal, you felt sick from the pleasure. You were sore and tired, but at the same time you knew that this was only the beginning of your sex. It was only four minutes spent on the brown couch in your small living room.
The TV was on, and one of the random movies that had recently appeared on the platform was playing on the screen. However, you didn’t know what this movie was really about, you only watched its short beginning, and then the red-eyed man’s hand was under your fabric shorts, and Kira’s lips on your breasts, which he secretly adored. They very quickly undressed you, used the little lube you always had in the cupboard next to the couch, and then relaxed your tense muscles and mind. You forgot to even order food or talk about the past week, you went straight to carnal pleasure and your first mum.
“Come on, slut. Cum for us one more time.” This time the dark haired man spoke to you, while leaning towards your own right ear. More chills ran through you, your pussy tightening, causing Ouka to grunt in satisfaction.
Issa held your arms tightly, but after a moment, one of his hands grabbed your hair. He tangled his fingers tightly in your soft strands, then pulled you back with a firm motion that made you moan even louder. Your face was fully visible to the twenty-seven-year-old, who only licked his upper lip at the sight of your red face, full of tears and sweat on the temples.
“Our little fuckdoll looks so good being fucked by us, right?” He asked amused, leaning in even more and then kissing you straight on the lips. The chaotic kiss caused another wave of pleasure, and you cummed once again on Ouka’s cock. The sofa was soaked and needed refreshing soon.
Ouka took care of your nipples again and you tightened your fingers on his shoulders; your nails left visible and deep marks on his pale skin, but he didn’t care. If necessary, make-up artists will surely hide the marks and scars you left.
“Give her to me, Kiduku. I want to take care of my kitten’s sweet lips too.” He smiled, touching your chin by his fingers. Issa let go of your hair and the other man took the opportunity to give you a much softer kiss. Nevertheless, just as juicy and pleasant as the previous one. “Y/N, I love you like this.” Ouka slowed down and you took a deep breath.
Your eyes were wide, your lips puffy, and your cheeks flushed. You looked over your shoulder and then ahead. You knew how to please their faces and eyes.
“Please, p-please... Harder. I want to stop walking for the next few days. I’m feeling so good.” You moaned pleadingly as your body sank to the twenty-five-year-old male.
“... Who would I be if I didn’t fulfill my little whore’s request?” The black-haired man asked rhetorically, and his friend only corrected your tangled hair and wiped your face from sweat and tears.
“You can do it?” He asked calmly and you nodded. “I’ll hold you tight, baby girl. Everything will be fine.”

[Masterpost] TsukiPro “Taikyoku Denki” Pamphlet Translations
Hello, hello~! Here are the translations for the “Taikyoku Denki” pamphlet that TsukiPro released a few months back~! They added new profiles, and updated the lore that they initially released for Tsukiuta~! It’s a really interesting world, and the lore is equally rich and beautifully established! They planned on using Taikyoku Denki for another ProSta before it got postponed/cancelled, and I hope that they’ll pick it back up again soon!
What we know from TsukiSta 10th is definitely expanded on and updated within this pamphlet, and it was so interesting to see how they connected all of that to already established information~! It’s so great seeing SQ, ALIVE, VAZZROCK, and infinit0 joining in on this world, too~! They definitely add some spice and a whole lotta wholesomeness and chaos into this world.
I hope that you get to enjoy them as much as I did, too~! It’s a really rich world that opens up the imagination, for sure! ( ´ ▽ ` ).。o♡
Thank you to Rakuen for helping me get my copy, as well as for generally helping me with some terms~!
Notes, and masterpost under the cut, enjoy~!
A few notes:
Some of SQ and ALIVE don’t have pictures (for now) because their official Twitter didn’t seem to post everyone’s profiles, and we didn’t want to scan the pamphlet for fear of ruining the binding >< I will update them when I get a clearer picture set!
The SQ Twitter posted about answering questions/messages regarding the pamphlet, but they haven’t posted anything about it since they’ve been consecutively busy with AGF, SQS8, and then their “Ano Koro” CD updates. I will update this post when they release their Q & A as well!

I wonder why Obsidian is the only one that is named after volcanic glass instead of an actual mineral. did they explain this? 🤔
Good question, I’m not sure actually. But can you imagine Gilbert being called something like Gilbert von Hematite (that’s the only black mineral I know, thanks vazzrock. Oh and onyx too)
It’s possible it could be deep lore related

[Translation] Tsukihana Kagura Cast Presentation: Shikkoku (Six Gravity)
We’re going further into the pamphlet~. I’ll be doing Tsukiuta and SQ while Ryota will be working on Alive, Vazzrock and infinit0. All the profiles will be posted here, one at a time so stay tuned.
Also, prepare your hearts because Aoi’s transformation is just 🔥🔥
Many thanks to Ryota again for assisting me and helping with the proofreading! Please don’t repost/repost/retranslate my translations.
Nation: the affiliated country’s name Flower name: the name as a dancer Dance technique: the name of each person’s characteristic dance Dance props: the name of the tool used while dancing (there are cases when none are used)
Mutsuki Hajime
“Dance proudly! Shikkoku!”
Nation: Shikkoku ※chief
Flower name: Shigen no Ou (Former Purple King)
Dance technique: Kuninotokotachi no Kami
Dance props: Folding fan / Inscription: [Shigen] (Foundation for everything)
Among all families from ‘Shikkoku’, the oldest and strongest nation, ‘Mutsuki’ is considered the heart and the pride of the country, and he is the heir of this lineage.
His dance, which conquered quite a number of gods, is without a doubt divine work. Just one, unnoticeable look and a slight fingertip movement can hold many meanings and that seems to have a great effect on the gods.
It is believed that it’s not a dance dedicated to god, but rather a ‘god’s dance’, as it causes miracles every time. Because of that, he’s rarely seen dancing.
He gives off the feeling of a normal young man, hates formalities, hides his lineage origins and travels the world as Shikkoku’s warrior rather than dancer (he’s a guard that acts in the name of justice, not for loss and gain)
Yayoi Haru
“Do you wish to see Shikkoku’s dance, the dance that conquered all the colours?”
Nation: Shikkoku
Flower name: Oborodukiyo (Moonlit night)
Dance technique: Getsuga (Moon fang)
Dance props: Long sword / Inscription: [Harutsugedori] (Bush warbler)
This man is the lord of the ‘Yayoi’ household, one of the five families that supported the core lineage, ‘Mutsuki’, throughout Shikkoku’s long history.
As ‘Yayoi’ can speak without reservation even against ‘Mutsuki’ and their position as advisors is strong, they are considered a burden by the latter and the atmosphere between the two families has always been tense, leading them to having rather disadvantageous duties. With that kind of circumstances behind, Haru was somewhat aware that dealing with the current head, Hajime, might turn out to be a difficult task, and his impression remained unchanged right until he met him.
However, the second he saw Hajime’s dance, all his needless anxiety vanished completely. Nowadays, he’s Hajime’s biggest supporter. He looks forward to all his tours around the continent, and sometimes spreads the word about it.
Interview with Mutsuki Hajime (Six Gravity)
Q. Please tell us about the highlights of this stage play and your impressions or story behind your partenered dance.
If I were to put it simply, it would be "It was easy to do." Whenever I think that there's something more I'd like to try doing or something I'd like to change, Haru would always tell me, "You want to try it, right?"
He'll accompany me until the end. Though his triumphant "I knew it~" face is a bit irritating (laughs). It's still thanks to him that I could challenge a variety of things. Thanks.
Q. In Tsukihana, all 12 nations have their own specialties, but if you could come up with a new specialty for your own country, what would it be?
Kuroda manju. Since he's black.
Q. Lastly, leave a short message for the fans.
The season of the stage plays is once again here. As we’ve been doing them every year, it feels like it turned into a tradition. I may say that, but with each passing year I also challenged myself to build and bring on a new me rather than maintain the ‘same, old persona’. I would be happy if you could enjoy this.
Interview with Yayoi Haru (Six Gravity)
Q. Please tell us about the highlights of this stage play and your impressions or story behind your partenered dance.
We’ve been doing our best! I mean that, seriously (laughs)!!
The last time Hajime and I had to perform a choreography (or more accurately would be to say dance, isn’t it?) with all our might was when we got the duet songs. I was actually in the middle of a lesson when I remembered I had issues at that time as well. That feeling similar to being in a sports club (laughs). It’s so fun I can’t even feel the pain…… but even so, I’ve been doing my best (laughs)!!!
Q. In Tsukihana, all 12 nations have their own specialties, but if you could come up with a new specialty for your own country, what would it be?
Shikkoku glasses.
Q. Lastly, leave a short message for the fans.
Traditional costumes ♪ Wo~w. Personally, I like Japanese-styled things, so while I was taking a closer look at everyone’s costumes, I got to imagine a lot of our various scenes ahead of the audience.
Please come to see and play with all these ikemen.
Uduki Arata
“Shikkoku’s first flower, ready to dance”
Nation: Shikkoku
Flower name: Aka Tsubaki (Red Camellia)
Dance technique: Ichino Kurohana (The First Black Flower)
Dance props: Katsugi (T/N: the word means ‘carrier’, but he’s technically carrying a veil) / Inscription: unsigned
He’s a member of the ‘Uduki’ household, one of the five families from Shikkoku. He pretends to be a great support for the lord of the family, his older sister, Yuka, but his acting might not be entirely a lie.
‘Uduki’ is light. Their lineage is in charge of public diplomacy. Although there are some who think he’s not suited for bargaining, reading his facial expressions is a rather difficult task, he’s rarely perturbed by something, his astounding speech and conduct are bewildering, his wild intuition cuts deep into the heart of a matter, etc. And surprisingly, he’s quite capable.
He likes both dancing and singing. He’s actually seen doing that on a regular basis.
Satsuki Aoi
“Shikkoku’s second flower, ready to dance”
Nation: Shikkoku
Flower name: Shiro Tsubaki (White Camellia)
Dance technique: Nino Kurohana (The Second Black Flower)
Dance props: Rabbit mask / Inscription: [Gento] (Moon)
He’s a member of the ‘Satsuki’ household, one of the five families from Shikkoku. The lord of his family is his older brother, Chihiro, whom he supports from the bottom of his heart.
‘Satsuki’ is darkness. Their lineage protects the peace and the harmony of the world, be it by secret intelligence, ambush, or sedition, and supports both the ‘Mutsuki’ and ‘Satsuki’ households from the shadows. Ever since he was a child, he’s been training by himself to become Hajime’s perfect shadow, but the latter treating him like a younger brother and pulling him in the front rather than letting him remain a shadow has confused Aoi quite a bit in the beginning.
He may be quiet, but his handsome appearance is nothing but eye-catching. He himself is not aware of that, and therefore he’s dragged sometimes into disputes without knowing the reason.
Interview with Uduki Arata (Six Gravity)
Q. Please tell us about the highlights of this stage play and your impressions or story behind your partenered dance.
Normally, when it's just me and Aoi, I'd be the one in charge of moving around without holding anything back. But this time, I use a prop that I put on my head and I move around softly and beautifully.
Having to move so slowly is a bit difficult for me. I'm required to be delicate up until my fingertips, so a lot of times my limbs became so numb…… And the actual results of my training!? Look forward to seeing them.
Q. In Tsukihana, all 12 nations have their own specialties, but if you could come up with a new specialty for your own country, what would it be?
The wonder of blackness! Black strawberry milk!
Q. Lastly, leave a short message for the fans.
In this setting, Aoi and me are playing roles that are exactly the opposite of our usual images. I handle diplomatic things in the light, Aoi operates in the darkness, or so it seems. It also reminded me of how I was in Rabbits Kingdom. I hope that seeing a different side of me makes you excited.
Interview with Satsuki Aoi (Six Gravity)
Q. Please tell us about the highlights of this stage play and your impressions or story behind your partenered dance.
I get to dance with a mask on my face, but as my visual field is much more narrow, I bumped so, so many times into Arata when we were dancing together during rehearsals (smiles bitterly).
I didn’t sleep one night because of anxiety thinking I might do that during the real thing.
However, with the help of various people I’ve been clearing all the challenges one by one, so here we are now, the performance is right ahead of us! I’ll dance until the very end and leave no regrets behind!
Q. In Tsukihana, all 12 nations have their own specialties, but if you could come up with a new specialty for your own country, what would it be?
Hot springs. With so many volcanoes around, some hot springs must have formed too, right?
Q. Lastly, leave a short message for the fans.
Welcome, to the joint stage-play “Tsukihana Kagura”!
I’ll bring you to the “Tsukihana Festival” together with everyone from Tsukipro, all wearing traditional costumes! There’s action, a lot of songs, dances and highlights! Look forward to them!
Shiwasu Kakeru
“Let’s make these pretty flowers bloom!”
Nation: Shikkoku
Flower name: Gokutsuki (December)
Dance technique: Tsukikake (Running with the moon)
Dance props: April ring / Inscription: [Kinshi] (Golden Kite)
He’s the lord of the ‘Shiwasu’ household, one of the five families from ‘Shikkoku’. Back when he was 5 years old, his father, and at the same time previous lord, suddenly retired, his mysterious last words being “I will become the Kagura King!”. Because of that, his term of office is the longest among all the current lords.
As a result of being thrown into society’s rough waves early on, he’s a very reliable young man.
He joins Hajime in every journey around the world, and since Hajime’s not aware of some societal notions, Kakeru’s able to support him perfectly.
Kisaragi Koi
“Man! The costumes and dances are beautiful no matter what country~!”
Nation: Shikkoku
Flower name: Kunshiran (Clivia)
Dance technique: Getsuren (Love for the moon)
Dance props: Spear / Inscription: [Baren] (Lotus Blade)
This young man is the next lord of the ‘Kisaragi’ household, one of the five families from ‘Shikkoku’. He is Kakeru’s childhood friend and often joins Hajime in his journeys.
He has a network of friends that surpasses national borders. He’s a pretty well-known face, so he ends up being saved or saving people a lot.
He goes around and helps people in need, and sometimes, he loves asking them “Do you know who this person (Hajime) is~?!”
Although he calls himself a warrior in training, he’s already qualified enough to be one. The reason why he can’t see that is because compared to others, his goal (Hajime) is too high.
Interview with Shiwasu Kakeru (Six Gravity)
Q. Please tell us about the highlights of this stage play and your impressions or story behind your partenered dance.
In our dance choreography there’s this moment when I throw my bouquet to Koi and he’s supposed to catch it, but during our rehearsals both of us were turning right before that moment and the flowers landed majestically on the floor. Ye~p, this is bad!
Both of us have been working overtime, practicing over and over again!
Koi~! Let’s work until every shot is perfect!
Q. In Tsukihana, all 12 nations have their own specialties, but if you could come up with a new specialty for your own country, what would it be?
Dam, dam, daaam ♪
Black oden.
Q. Lastly, leave a short message for the fans.
Please vote! Thank you for voting Shikkoku fairly. We’re in your care.
Interview with Kisaragi Koi (Six Gravity)
Q. Please tell us about the highlights of this stage play and your impressions or story behind your partenered dance.
This is not a (modern) dance, it's (traditional) dancing! …...And so, I don’t really have a say in this matter. I could even say I bid farewell to my liberties, huh.
I did think it would be something fresh, but difficult, too (laughs). Since in this story the costumes are traditional, I practiced putting on a yukata. Whenever the sleeves flutter and hit my face, all I could think was how much I want to make that look graceful instead (・ㅂ・)9!
Q. In Tsukihana, all 12 nations have their own specialties, but if you could come up with a new specialty for your own country, what would it be?

[Translation] VAZZROCK BI-COLOR SERIES VOL. 9 - emerald Drama Track 1
Here’s the translation to Reiji’s first drama track~! I hope you enjoy his usual banter with Ayumu lolol
Thank you again to @ryuukia for sharing with me ^^
※ Please don’t re-post the English translations without permission.
Under the cut, enjoy~!
Track 1: [ちょっとは距離を縮めよう] “Let’s shorten our distance just a little”
[0:00]
REIJI: (sighs) Tomorrow’s an event with Ayumu, huh.
REIJI: It’s at the outdoor stage where we had rehearsals then, right?
REIJI: It’s been a while since I last had an outdoor event.
AYUMU: It’s the first time for me.
REIJI: A sitting event?
AYUMU: No, a standing one.
REIJI: Don’t tell me… The kind of event where there’s free admission?
AYUMU: The tickets were sold beforehand. I heard that it’s so the stadium wouldn’t be so packed even if it’s a standing event.
REIJI: Oh, is that so? The stage itself was kinda huge too, huh? I thought so during rehearsals.
AYUMU: It just seemed like that because there were no people.
REIJI: We won’t be changing costumes until the last part, right?
AYUMU: Yeah. It was decided so that we could maximize the time we’re standing on stage during the duration of the event.
AYUMU: Didn’t the manager tell you this yesterday?
REIJI: I was just confirming it. Oh, are there other things you’re curious about?
AYUMU: Let me see… What should we do if there’s an encore?
REIJI: Ah, we haven’t decided that yet? Well, I kinda wanna do all that I can but outdoors is…
REIJI: We have to mind the weather and when it becomes dark.
AYUMU: That would probably be the problem. huh.
REIJI: What’s tomorrow’s forecast?
AYUMU: Cloudy with a chance of rain.
REIJI: Ah… It’s ‘cause you were too excited.
AYUMU: Don’t make it my fault!
REIJI: I mean, all of your solo events have had accidents, right?
AYUMU: …! Wh-what about you then?
REIJI: Me? In my case, it was… mostly cloudy?
AYUMU: Alright. If tomorrow’s cloudy then it’s your responsibility.
REIJI: (scoffs) Isn’t that better than the rain though?
AYUMU: But isn’t cloudy weather cold?
REIJI: No, man, rain is even colder!
AYUMU: In the meantime, if the weather’s bad, the equipment will get wet and an encore would be impossible.
REIJI: We’ll get wet too, you know?
AYUMU: You love being drenched, right?
REIJI: Eh? What’s with that idea?
AYUMU: I watched your drama the other day and you fell into the pool.
REIJI: Eh? You watched that? Anyway, it’s not like I fell because I wanted to.
REIJI: It’s only ‘cause of the role and the story, okay?
REIJI: It’s not like I particularly like getting drenched, got it?
REIJI: Since we’re on the topic, aren’t you the one who’s always drenched? You dumb rain man. (1)
AYUMU: How many times do I have to tell you that I’m not a rain man?
REIJI: Just admit it already! Oh~! How about making it your charm point then?
AYUMU: What part of that will make it my charm point?
REIJI: Not getting phased by the rain could be your charm point, y’know?
AYUMU: … I guess it could be welcomed.
REIJI: (scoffs) Don’t start daydreaming now!
AYUMU: In any case, the event is tomorrow. It’s necessary that we clarify everything before the appointed day.
(Ayumu sneezes)
REIJI: Oh…
AYUMU: What?
REIJI: Ah, no… It’s nothing.
[03:10]
(Ayumu stands up from his chair)
AYUMU: (in a matter-of-fact tone) What time do we have to get to the arena?
REIJI: 12.
AYUMU: What time do we leave here tomorrow?
REIJI: 11.
AYUMU: What time will you wake up?
REIJI: You’re even gonna ask that? I’ll wake up so we’ll make it.
AYUMU: Your “making it on time” is more like “barely making it”.
AYUMU: You’re doing an event with me tomorrow so be there with 10 minutes to spare.
REIJI: (laughs) Yes, ma’am.
AYUMU: Who are you calling “ma’am”?
(Ayumu sneezes again)
REIJI: Hm… Ayumu… Do you have any allergies?
AYUMU: No. Why are you asking me that?
REIJI: “Why,” you ask… Well—never mind…
REIJI: Is there anything else you wanna confirm?
AYUMU: I wanted to confirm the general event but…
AYUMU: Then, could we run over it again—
REIJI: (suddenly interrupts Ayumu) Alright! It’s getting late~
REIJI: Meeting’s over~!
AYUMU: Hey, don’t just end it on your own!
REIJI: Is there still something you need, Mr. Worrywart, Ayuku-kun?
AYUMU: I don’t need anything. You should at least be a little worried.
REIJI: Sure, sure~ Sorry for not being all worried.
REIJI: Anyway, let’s go eat.
AYUMU: I got it.
[04:37]
AYUMU: But… Is it necessary that we eat together?
REIJI: You see? We’ll be doing an event together tomorrow. Don’t you think we should at least close our distance a little?
REIJI: Eating together is exactly for that purpose.
AYUMU: (scoffs) You’re too naïve. Do you really think that people will get close after eating together once?
REIJI: That… Is that something to be so triumphant about?
AYUMU: Never mind that. There’s nothing wrong with eating together.
AYUMU: Let’s go.
REIJI: Alright~! Well, since we’ll be doing an outdoors event tomorrow, let’s just cook something today.
AYUMU: Eh?
REIJI: My room or your room, which do you prefer?
AYUMU: …! Are those our only choices…?
REIJI: Where else would we go?
AYUMU: If possible, my room isn’t…
REIJI: Ah… My room’s full of stuff right now~ It’d be a big help if we could use Ayumu’s room but~ How about it~?
AYUMU: No, uh…! My room is in a horrible state, too so…
REIJI: I don’t really mind it though~
AYUMU: I do! If you don’t mind a disastrous room anyway then why not use yours?
REIJI: I didn’t say that it was disastrous. But, y’know? I’ve never been to your room before.
REIJI: I feel like I should visit at least once for our friendship’s sake.
REIJI: Or maybe…
REIJI: You’re hiding something~?
AYUMU: It’s a normal room.
REIJI: Then~
AYUMU: Let’s go to your room!
REIJI: O-oh…! Y-you’re direct for once…
REIJI: Do you want to come to my room that much~?
AYUMU: No, not at all.
REIJI: You’re really not honest. Then, I’ll go to your room next time. Today, mine will do.
AYUMU: … Is that so? Thank you.
REIJI: In exchange, bring some plates with you, got it?
AYUMU: Plates?
REIJI: The other day, I was thinking of remodelling so my stuff aren’t really organized.
REIJI: That’s why my room’s kinda empty right now.
AYUMU: I thought you said it was full of stuff?
REIJI: Ah… That’s well… Going with the flow?
AYUMU: You… You were teasing me, weren’t you?
REIJI: A little bit? I kinda wanted to poke fun at you~
REIJI: I think that’s a talent on its own, don’t you~?
AYUMU: (sighs) I take back my thank you from a while ago.
[07:24]
(door opens)
REIJI: Now then… What should we eat?
REIJI: That Ayumu’s pretty picky…
REIJI: Oh! Tomato? If I bring this out he’ll leave for sure.
(doorbell rings)
REIJI: Ah, yeah!
REIJI: He got here faster than I thought.
(Reiji opens the door)
REIJI: Hey, sorry for the wait.
AYUMU: Is this okay? (Ayumu hands him the plates)
REIJI: W-wait…! Y-you… How many did you bring?
AYUMU: It’s a set of six. Don’t break them.
REIJI: No matter how you think about it, six plates is unnecessary…
AYUMU: Don’t hesitate to use them. I’m coming in.
(Ayumu closes the door behind him and walks inside)
AYUMU: There’s really nothing here… There’s no sofa so where should I sit?
REIJI: There’s a chair by the kitchen counter, right? Wait there.
AYUMU: … Th-this chair that looks like a bar stool…?
(Ayumu sits down)
AYUMU: … I’m not used to it…
REIJI: Bear with it.
REIJI: How hungry are you, Ayumu?
AYUMU: The normal amount.
REIJI: Then, salad, roast beef, and pasta should do, huh?
REIJI: You’re okay with Caesar salad, right?
AYUMU: Y-yeah… You can cook?
REIJI: Simple stuff, yeah. I can make roast beef and use the rice cooker.
AYUMU: Wh-what in the world are you planning to make me eat?
REIJI: Ah, did you just imagine something amazing?
REIJI: It’s okay, I’m sure it’d be more delicious than store-bought food.
[09:33]
AYUMU: Thank you for the meal.
REIJI: Thank you for enjoying it.
REIJI: Ah, I can return the plates next time, right?
AYUMU: Yeah. If you want, you can have them in exchange for Japanese sweets.
REIJI: You’re bargaining?
(Ayumu coughs)
AYUMU: Want me to help with cleaning?
REIJI: Nah, it’s not much.
AYUMU: Really?
(Ayumu coughs again)
AYUMU: Then, I’ll be heading for home now.
REIJI: This is my first time meeting a guy who says that. (2)
REIJI: Ah, wait!
AYUMU: What?
(Reiji opens a cupboard door)
REIJI: Here, take this with you.
AYUMU: Honey?
REIJI: I’ll give it to you to make up for teasing you~
AYUMU: You… Wh-what are you thinking?
AYUMU: Ah…! You’re bribing me?!
REIJI: What for?!
REIJI: Are you sure you don’t want it? It’s from that shop that sells Japanese sweets so~
AYUMU: …! If that’s the case then I’ll accept it. I’m thankful.
REIJI: As usual, your countenance changes so fast when Japanese sweets are involved.
AYUMU: You don’t need anything else, right?
REIJI: Yeah, you can go back.
REIJI: Ah…! That honey’s expiration date is close so you better eat it fast.
AYUMU: Wha--?! You… You just wanted to get rid of it, huh…
REIJI: Then you don’t need it~
AYUMU: I’m not returning something I’ve already been given! Plus… the honey did nothing wrong. I’ll be eating it soon.
(Ayumu opens the door)
AYUMU: Don’t oversleep tomorrow.
REIJI: I know, I know. Sleep properly too, okay?
AYUMU: I know that, Mom.
REIJI: (laughs)
(Ayumu leaves and closes the door)
REIJI: I hope he got the message… That he’s catching a cold…
REIJI: He’s the type to not notice that about himself…
==END==
Translator’s Notes:
(1) Reiji actually calls Ayumu 「雨男/ameotoko」whose common translation is, “a person whose presence seems to invite rain”. Using that would be too long so I just simplified it to its other (more literal) translation, “rain man” XD
(2) Ayumu says 「お暇/oitoma」which is kinda like, a lesser/uncommon way of saying “I’ll be taking my leave/I’m going home now/I’ll be heading back” so Reiji was kinda shocked about it.
※ Please don’t re-post the English translations without permission.

music & vocaloids month ; third day.
synopsis: Being the manager of a six-member male group is not an easy thing. But you definitely wouldn’t trade your job for anything else!
# tags: scenario; manager/idol dynamic; manager!reader; caring!reader; fluff; comedy; mess & chaos; sfw
includes: female reader ft. rock down {vazzrock}
author’s note: manager!au? i’m in.
You sighed softly, rubbing both temples with your hands. The interview on the breakfast show was starting in a few moments, and most of the band were not ready and had the best time teasing each other or simply refusing to cooperate just like Ayumu.
As a experienced manager, you only looked at your smartwatch – five minutes and twenty-three seconds left, which is quite a lot of time, contrary to appearances. You immediately looked at Shou, who was the leader of this whole six-person kindergarten, and then at Gaku, who was by far the most thoughtful and calm of them all.
“... All right, guys. Focus, focus. Ruka, wear a waistcoat and pants. Don’t run around without clothes. You’ll still get sick.” You walked over to the young man, handing him his outfit for the day, then fixed his hair. “When the interview and performance are over, I’ll take you all out for a delicious dinner, so let’s be in tune tonight, shall we?”
“Yes, Y/N-san! Thank you~!” The man’s smile was sincere, and thoughts of food overshadowed his reluctance to appear on TV program.
Then you looked at the blue-haired and previously mentioned Ayumu sitting on an armchair in the corner of the room, to whom you also approached after a short while. Your warm hand adjusted the collar of his light-colored shirt, and moments later with your free hand you handed him his favorite candy bar covered in milk chocolate.
“After the interview, I’ll buy you another one, ‘kay?” You looked at him fondly, and the twenty-six-year-old nodded. Although Tachibana was an introvert and didn’t like crowds of people nor just talking to others, he felt completely safe and understood with you. Plus, he was getting sweets from you, even though you both knew he shouldn’t have eaten them so much.
Reiji and Haruto finished dressing and asked you to judge the outfits. All you said was that they look very good and manly as always, and will definitely attract the attention of the cameras this morning. Such words for the male idol were a kind of boost, so they smiled triumphantly, silently arguing about which one you like more.
“... What do you think about me, lady Y/N?” Shou asked as he spun around and you just giggled. He always called you per lady or miss.
“You definitely look wonderful. I told you that gloves would be perfect for your style.” Another smile appeared on your face and the leader just laughed, thanking you for the compliment. “All right, Gaku. Are you ready too?”
“I guess so, could you just tie a button on the back for me?”
“Yes, of course.” You quickly complied with the request of the tall, dark-haired member of the band, and then tapped him on the shoulder, thus signaling that he was ready.
Perfectly with the man’s thanks, the producer invited the whole ROCK DOWN onto the stage with two couches and a table full of snacks. So you smiled at all six of them, giving both thumbs up. Morning interviews were really important in the culture of jrock or jpop bands, so you wanted everything to go your way.
All six moved towards the exit of the locker room, but before they finally left it, each of them gave you a quick but sweet kiss right on the cheek. Stunned, you just shook your head in amusement and shouted a loud ‘Good luck!’ in their direction.
‘Maybe interviews aren’t so bad after all...?’ All six thought, then greeted the host with a low bow.

[Translation] VAZZY Unit Song Vol. 1 - Drama Track 2
Here’s the second track~ Lol, the basketball match was more intense than I thought it’d be. It made me wanna go play, too XD
Track 2: [やるとなったら、熱くなる] “It’ll get crazy if we get serious.”
Under the cut as usual, enjoy~
Track 2: [やるとなったら、熱くなる] “It’ll get crazy if we get serious.”
(shoes squeaking as they walk on the court)
OUKA: It’s a lot smaller than I thought it’d be.
FUTABA: Isn’t it perfect for a 3-on-3, though?
OUKA: Have you played before, Futaba?
FUTABA: I used to play with Nii-san before but only a little bit.
NAOSUKE: Geh…! Then, does that mean that Issa’s good at basketball, too?
ISSA: It’s ‘Issa-san’ remember? (Issa hits Naosuke on the head with a basketball)
NAOSUKE: Ow! Stop that! A basketball’s very hard, y’know?! I won’t get taller anymore!
NAOSUKE: Give me the ball! (Naosuke tries to grab the ball but Issa dodges)
ISSA: Woah~ (Issa starts dribbling) If you want it, come and get it.
NAOSUKE: Oh, that is it…!
(Issa and Naosuke play one-on-one)
NAOSUKE: There!
ISSA: (laughs) So slow.
NAOSUKE: Damn it…! Not yet.
NAOSUKE: (starts panting)
ISSA: Hah~ Here, Futaba. (Issa passes the ball to Futaba)
FUTABA: Eh…? Wait a sec, Nii-san…
ISSA: Just shoot it casually.
FUTABA: (starts dribbling the ball) Geez…
NAOSUKE: Yuma, back me up!
YUMA: Wha--?! It’s already started?
NAOSUKE: Stop Futaba-san!
YUMA: (starts running on the court) (quietly) Even if you say ‘stop him’ I…
YUMA: Futaba-san, I’m sorry. I won’t let you pass.
(Futaba tries to get past Yuma)
FUTABA: Yuma-kun, you’re good at this, huh? You almost got it from me.
(Meanwhile, on the side-lines)
MAMIYA: Oh? They’re already playing?
OUKA: You’re late.
MAMIYA: Sorry. I bought something [on the way].
OUKA: Ah, sports drinks? Then, I guess it’s okay.
MAMIYA: Oh~ You forgave me~?
MAMIYA: So… What’s going on here?
OUKA: Naosuke riled Issa up and then they dragged Yuma and Futaba into it.
MAMIYA: Ouka, you’re not gonna participate?
OUKA: We haven’t even decided on teams yet.
MAMIYA: (laughs) Well, I see.
MAMIYA: Futaba’s doing everything on his own.
MAMIYA: Why are you slacking off there, Issa?
ISSA: Oh. It’s ‘cause I already played with them a lot.
OUKA: What part of you did? You were there at the beginning only.
ISSA: As if I could compete with that training maniac.
MAMIYA: (laughs) Then, that means Issa’s not confident in his stamina.
ISSA: Hah? What the hell are you implying?
MAMIYA: I mean, you’re already worn-out, aren’t you?
ISSA: I’m not.
ISSA: Anyway, provoking me won’t do you any good. I won’t fall for it.
MAMIYA: Figured. Then… How about we make a bet?
OUKA: H-hey…! That’s—
MAMIYA: Oh come on~ It’s fine for the losing team to treat the winning team to some alcohol, isn’t it?
OUKA: There’s no way it is! Plus, Naosuke and Yuma are still underage.
MAMIYA: Then they’ll be treated to some food so~
MAMIYA: Issa~ You can ask for anything you want, y’know? I may not look like it but my income’s fairly well~
OUKA: (to himself) There’s no way a former national idol like him makes ‘fairly well’…
ISSA: (scoffs) Anything, huh?
ISSA: Fine. If it’s that then I’ll go along with you.
ISSA: We get to choose the shop too, right?
MAMIYA: That was the plan~
ISSA: Come, Ouka. You go be that Prince’s opponents.
ISSA: There’s no way that he can move properly if you’re there.
OUKA: Like I said, don’t just decide things on your own!
MAMIYA: (in a cute tone) Ouka-chan~ Can you do it for me, please~?
OUKA: Why do you think that’d work on me?
ISSA: Don’t tell me you’re bad at spo—
OUKA: Shut up!
OUKA: Are you sure you can stop that idiot?
ISSA: (scoffs) Who do you think I am?
MAMIYA: (laughs) You guys are in the same team, y’know?
ISSA: I know! / OUKA: I understand!
MAMIYA: (laughs) You’re in perfect sync, huh~
(Naosuke, Yuma, and Futaba continue to play on the court)
NAOSUKE: Got it!
FUTABA: A-ah…!
ISSA: Tch. They got it.
ISSA: What are you doing, Futaba?
FUTABA: Even if you say that, 2-on-1 is a little difficult, you know?
FUTABA: Nii-san, hurry and come back here.
ISSA: Guess I got no choice. Let’s go, Ouka.
OUKA: Don’t order me around.
(Ouka and Issa run to the court)
MAMIYA: Alrighty then~ Guess I’ll go, too.
(Mamiya goes to the court)
OUKA: Futaba, I’ll back you up.
FUTABA: (excitedly) Ah! Ouka’s on this team?
FUTABA: Nice to work with you!
YUMA: …! Ouka-san’s on that team…?
ISSA: See? They’re already scared?
NAOSUKE: Yuma, here’s a pass!
MAMIYA: Pass to me, too.
NAOSUKE: Alright! Takaaki-san’s on this team!
MAMIYA: Heh~ That’s right.
MAMIYA: For the meantime, Naosuke, you go mark Ouka. Do it before Yuma backs down.
ISSA: Bastard, don’t interfere!
MAMIYA: Heh, talking strategy in front of me was a bad idea~
MAMIYA: Yuma, you go and mark Futaba just like that. I’ll face-off with Issa.
YUMA: I’ll be counting on you.
MAMIYA: Alright~ Shall we begin?
(A heated battle ensues)
ISSA: Hey, stop them! Over here!
NAOSUKE: Alright~!
ISSA: Don’t let them pass.
FUTABA: Nii-san!
(The game continues)
MAMIYA: Alright, that’s great!
MAMIYA: Shoot!
(The ball goes in)
***
ISSA: (panting) Ah, damn…! How many matches are you gonna make us play?
MAMIYA: (laughs) If alcohol’s on the line, there’s no way I can just lose.
FUTABA: Ah… We lost, huh.
ISSA: Futaba. That’s ‘cause there were times when you were going easy.
FUTABA: Eh?! I wasn’t! I gave it my all!
FUTABA: It’s ‘cause Yuma-kun was so good, you know?! Plus, he’s so young!
MAMIYA: No doubt about that~ (laughs)
NAOSUKE: (panting heavily) H-how is everyone talking normally…?!
NAOSUKE: (panting heavily) I… I can’t even stand anymore…
YUMA: Probably… it’s because Nao was moving as much as three people…
OUKA: (panting heavily) Really…! You’re so persistent… You kept chasing and chasing. That was a nightmare…
NAOSUKE: (laughs)
MAMIYA: Ah. Don’t forget to stretch, you guys. If you can’t move properly tomorrow, you’re not gonna hear the end of it from our manager.
NAOSUKE: Yessir~
(They all stand up and go stretch)
FUTABA: Come on, Nii-san. Don’t just sleep there. Start stretching, too.
ISSA: Why does someone like me have to do something like that?
FUTABA: Your muscles will get sore later, you know?
ISSA: You just have to massage them later, right?
MAMIYA: Ah, I’m planning on dining with everyone after this so…
ISSA: Hah? Why are you deciding that on your own?
MAMIYA: Oh~ Did I not tell you?
ISSA: I wasn’t listening.
MAMIYA: Well, since everyone’s already here, it’s fine once in a while, isn’t it?
MAMIYA: It’s what the winning team wants, ya know~?
ISSA: Tch…!
NAOSUKE: Yay! I want hotpot!
MAMIYA: You’re so refined.
OUKA: Hotpot, huh…
OUKA: Takaaki, do you know any shops that can accommodate this many?
MAMIYA: O-of course I do but… They’re kinda far away from here.
ISSA: Alright, then that’s a no-go.
MAMIYA: Don’t just let it go so easily. If it’s just hotpot we can cook it ourselves, you know?
OUKA: Are we going to cook it?
MAMIYA: Ah, is there somewhere you wanna go?
OUKA: That’s not what I mean but…
YUMA: Making hotpot for six people sound so difficult, doesn’t it?
YUMA: I guess I’ll say this now but I don’t think I can be much help.
NAOSUKE: Me, too. I can wash the green onions, though.
ISSA: You don’t put that in a hotpot, right?
FUTABA: Hotpot, huh~
FUTABA: Boiling them over normal water is good, too but boiling them in broth sounds great as well!
FUTABA: Ah, how about putting in some miso to make it thick? Or something like a Korean stew, too~
(Naosuke’s stomach starts rumbling)
NAOSUKE: Uwah…! Just imagining it’s making me hungry.
FUTABA: (chuckles) That sound was amazing, huh?
NAOSUKE: That’s ‘cause Futaba-san was talking about delicious things!
MAMIYA: I’m pretty sure that apartment has a huge room we can use, right?
OUKA: Communication room. In other words, our common room.
MAMIYA: Yeah, yeah, that one. Let’s go make it there.
MAMIYA: Don’t worry, I can cook reasonably well.
OUKA: Fine.
MAMIYA: (laughs) Hey now~ Why’re you making such a meek face?
MAMIYA: First off, let’s do rock-paper-scissors to decide who’ll buy the ingredients.
ISSA: Ah… I’ll pass.
FUTABA: You can’t do that, Nii-san. We lost after all.
ISSA: Damn…! We definitely won’t lose next time.
ISSA: Go and participate for me then.
FUTABA: Is it possible to do rock-paper-scissors with both of my hands, though…
OUKA: Futaba, don’t listen to him seriously. Let Issa do it.
NAOSUKE: Alright! If it’s rock-paper-scissors you can leave it to me!
YUMA: Speaking of, I’ve never seen Nao lose once in rock-paper-scissors.
MAMIYA: Alright, then here we go~
MAMIYA: Rock-paper-scissors!

»»————- ★ ————-««
[0:00]
(Door opens)
OWNER: Welcome—Oh? Taka-chan, you brought someone this time?
MAMIYA: Yup, table for two~ Is the tatami room available?
OWNER: It is.
(Mamiya and Sho start walking)
SHO: Oh~ This shop’s got great ambiance.
SHO: It’s for the general public but it’s very elegant.
MAMIYA: You should tell the owner that directly. I’m sure he’d jump for joy if he heard that from you.
SHO: (chuckles) You’re exaggerating.
(Mamiya and Sho settle themselves in the tatami room)
MAMIYA: Alright… Should we order some draft beer first? Or maybe wine?
SHO: Hmm… Draft beer maybe~? I want to know what it feels like to enjoy it after work~
MAMIYA: Roger that~
MAMIYA: (opens the sliding door and tells the owner) Owner, two draft beers and whatever you’d recommend to eat!
OWNER: Got it.
(Mamiya closes the sliding door)
SHO: This is the shop that Ouka told me you frequent, isn’t it?
MAMIYA: Yup, that’s right—Wait, you talk about things like this with Ouka?!
SHO: We do~ You become our topic of conversation a lot, you know~?
MAMIYA: Uwah… I won’t ask what you talk about then…
SHO: (chuckles) That’s such a waste~
MAMIYA: (smiles) Really now.
OWNER: Here, thanks for the wait.
(Owner starts serving them)
MAMIYA: Oh~! I was waiting for that~ Woah…! They look so delicious!
MAMIYA: These wings really pair well with the alcohol, ya know~?
MAMIYA: Sho, can you hand me that plate over there?
SHO: Sure.
(Sho hands Mamiya the plate)
SHO: You ordered so much. Are you sure we can eat all of this?
MAMIYA: Hm~ You’ll know once you start eating~
MAMIYA: Ah, Owner. Please bring us some nihonshuu later on, too.
OWNER: You got it.
(Owner leaves and closes the sliding door behind him)
MAMIYA: Alright then, should we toast for now?
MAMIYA: Thank you for your hard work today, too!
SHO: And to you as well~
(Mamiya starts drinking)
MAMIYA: I feel so alive~!
(Sho starts drinking)
SHO: Uwah~ That’s so delicious.
MAMIYA: Are you actually the strong type, Sho?
SHO: I wonder~ I don’t have any plans about finding out whether I’m weak or strong to alcohol.
MAMIYA: About how many glasses can you drink if it’s wine?
SHO: Hm… About two or three?
MAMIYA: (laughs) That’s great! Are you fine with nihonshuu, too?
SHO: If it’s not too harsh for my taste.
MAMIYA: I see~ This place has a great selection of nihonshuu so, you can just choose later.
SHO: I’m looking forward to it~
MAMIYA: Welp, let’s go eat something before that.
(Mamiya prepares a plate for Sho)
MAMIYA: Here you go.
SHO: Thank you. I’ll prepare you some of these on a plate, too, okay?
MAMIYA: Sure, thank—Ah, no, wait!
MAMIYA: Haruto advised me before to only let you eat and to not let you serve food so uh—
SHO: I don’t think I’m that clumsy though.
MAMIYA: No one thinks that you’re clumsy. It’s just… There are things that people are not suited for, you know?
(Mamiya starts serving the food instead)
SHO: Takaaki watches over people even when we’re not all together, huh.
MAMIYA: (laughs) It’s not like I’m doing all of this consciously though. I guess it’s just because I’m surrounded by a lot of accident-prone people.
SHO: Does that include me~?
MAMIYA: (laughs) Yes, it does.
SHO: How strange~ I thought that we were supposed to be in the same situation~
MAMIYA: You mean, us being leaders?
SHO: Yup. A leader who takes care of his family of six~
MAMIYA: (finishes serving Sho the food) There we go.
MAMIYA: We’re actually a huge family of 12, you know?
SHO: (chuckles) A really big family, huh~ Even though it took quite a while.
MAMIYA: That’s true.
(Mamiya starts eating)
MAMIYA: Mmmm~!! This is so delicious!!
SHO: (chuckles) It’s that good? Maybe I’ll have some, too~
(Sho takes a bite)
SHO: !!! This is~!!
MAMIYA: It’s so good it makes you want to just exclaim, right? Then, if you drink alcohol after this, it’s—
(Mamiya starts drinking)
MAMIYA: It’s the best!
SHO: (laughs) You really look like you’re deliciously enjoying it, huh~
MAMIYA: Not “look,” I really am~!
SHO: Let me try it then~
(Sho starts drinking)
SHO: (chuckles) It truly is the combination of happiness, isn’t it~?
MAMIYA: (laughs) You look like you’re enjoying, too~
MAMIYA: We should do a commercial for beer now.
SHO: (chuckles) A privilege for those over 20, huh~
MAMIYA: Alcohol drinking is exclusive for those over 20, y’know?
MAMIYA: Looking at your image, it’s unexpected that you’d like beer so—we might really be able to make it work.
MAMIYA: Maybe I should try telling my manager that…
SHO: Do you keep thinking about things like that even on your days off, Takaaki?
MAMIYA: It’s not like I always do. But, I can’t help it…?
MAMIYA: Whenever I find something unexpected about our members, I kinda think that maybe we can use that as a selling point, too, or something.

[05:05]
SHO: Oh~! I might have something not about me.
SHO: The other day, I went to a local district with ROCK DOWN. It was a roundtrip only but, Ruka kept on saying that he wanted to go sight-seeing.
MAMIYA: (laughs) Sounds like something he’d do.
SHO: Even more so since it was a hot springs district. But, we couldn’t find that much free time to roam around.
SHO: Just when I was thinking of having Gaku calm him down, Reiji already started asking the locals for information.
MAMIYA: He’s good at things like that, huh?
SHO: In an instant, he found out about a footbath that only the locals were familiar with. We all boarded a taxi and headed there afterwards.
SHO: Even though we only had two hours before we had to go on the plane.
MAMIYA: (laughs) Ayumu didn’t object to that?
SHO: About that~ Even Ayumu got excited about entering the hot springs since we were there already.
SHO: Everyone was of one spirit and we headed to the footbath~ (chuckles) And that footbath was the kind that had small, sharp pebbles in it, too.
MAMIYA: And then it was pandemonium~
SHO: (chuckles) Exactly~! Ayumu was screaming in pain but Ruka kept pushing on his feet. When Ayumu couldn’t bear it anymore, he started riding on Gaku’s feet.
SHO: And, when I thought that Haruto was looking like he was fine, it turns out that he couldn’t even move a foot~
SHO: Reiji took a video of all of us during that time~ Of course, one where he’s included as well~
MAMIYA: Ah, I can totally imagine it~ Wait, that seems like something that’d happen in a variety show.
SHO: That’s right. I was thinking that it would seem fun to do a show like that with everyone after Reiji showed us the video.
SHO: You meant something like that, right~?
MAMIYA: Yeah! Being with those guys, even normal things seem interesting that I just wanna show them off to people, y’know?
MAMIYA: But, a hot spring’s super nice~ I wonder when we’ll get that kind of chance.
SHO: What happened when you went to the local districts?
MAMIYA: It was a roundtrip, too. The only thing we did was maybe eat the famous boxed lunches in bullet trains.
MAMIYA: Plus, Ouka sent his manager back in advance so we barely even managed to buy them. That’s it.
SHO: It’s difficult when you can’t find that much free time, huh.
MAMIYA: I wish we could do more next time.
MAMIYA: Ah, but, doing something with all the members is good on its own, too.
SHO: Even if it’s just in the common room?
MAMIYA: Yeah. Just the other day, Issa was saying he wanted to eat some salt and butter bread (shio pan).
SHO: Salt and butter bread?
MAMIYA: You don’t know? It’s kinda like a croissant. The texture’s soft like a French bread and it’s got a bit of a salty taste with lots of butter.
SHO: I think I kind of get it now.
MAMIYA: But, that was at midnight.
SHO: I don’t think… any bakeries are open at that time, huh…
MAMIYA: And I’ve never seen them being sold in convenience stores, too.
MAMIYA: Plus, he was being all spoiled and saying that he didn’t want it if it’s not freshly baked. He hit Futaba awake and told him to make one from scratch. When Futaba told him that he didn’t have the ingredients, Issa went all the way to my place.
SHO: Well, he can, since we’re in the same apartment complex~
MAMIYA: But, getting asked for some flour and stuff at midnight should be out of the question, right?
SHO: (chuckles) It should, huh~ So, did you make some?
MAMIYA: Oh, we definitely did. But he got mad since we didn’t have any butter so he went to get Yuma. And then, Ouka got mad because he got woken up by the noise. He brought with him Naosuke because, according to Ouka, “Naosuke would definitely sulk if no one woke him up.”
SHO: So, you all made bread in the middle of the night?
MAMIYA: Yeah. Futaba was the teacher and we were all kneading dough.
MAMIYA: Really, what an evil thing~
SHO: Did Issa participate in the bread-making class, too?
MAMIYA: That’s just the thing! He’s the one who wanted to eat it but he said, “I’m sleepy so wake me up when it’s done.”
SHO: Ah…
MAMIYA: He fell asleep in a corner in the room so I went ahead and played a prank on him~
SHO: (chuckles) What did you do?
MAMIYA: I curled his hair oh so thoroughly with a curling iron~
SHO: (chuckles) I’m surprised he didn’t wake up~
MAMIYA: It’s me we’re talking about, you know? His hair got so fluffy that it would make him 3x more hostile if he saw it.
SHO: He didn’t find out even after he woke up?
MAMIYA: No one generally looks at a mirror at midnight, right? The bread was just done too so, he was happily enjoying his bread with his fluffy hair~
SHO: (chuckles) That side of VAZZY is really great, too, huh~
SHO: I want to see that kind of cooking show, too.
MAMIYA: Hm… I want to try it too as long as Ouka doesn’t get to hold a knife.
SHO: It’s that bad?
MAMIYA: I wonder now… I think it’s the same level as Haruto not wanting you to hold a knife.
SHO: That’s… Well, that’s reasonable~
MAMIYA: (laughs) Don’t say that~!
SHO: (chuckles) I can’t get enough of talking about our members~
MAMIYA: Oh man… We should have talked about this on the broadcast.
SHO: Ah…!
MAMIYA: Well, let’s talk about it next time~ Let’s take that opportunity to appeal to make a TV show, too~
SHO: As expected~ You don’t miss any opportunities.
MAMIYA: I am very honored by your words of praise~
MAMIYA: Now that we’re in the mood, wanna go for the nihonshuu~?
SHO: Sure~
(Mamiya opens the sliding door and places an order)
MAMIYA: Owner, some nihonshuu, please! Oh, the not too strong kind.
OWNER: Got it.
OWNER: Here you go.
MAMIYA: Eh--?! That’s fast! What’s this~? Did you already prepare it and was already waiting for us?
OWNER: Yeah, I got a hold of some good stuff, see?
MAMIYA: Heh~ Sho! You can expect that it’s good if the Owner recommends it.
SHO: I can already smell how good it is~
OWNER: Alright then, please enjoy your stay.
(Owner closes the sliding door)
SHO: It’s unusual for it to come with a small cup, huh?
MAMIYA: It feels as if it’s meant just for drinking alcohol, right~?
MAMIYA: Then, once again.
SHO: That’s right~ Cheers~!
»»————- ★ ————-««
[10:47]
SHO: Oh… This is…
SHO: It’s delicious.
MAMIYA: I’m glad to hear that~
MAMIYA: Ah~ It’s so good! He really got a hold of something good with this!
SHO: It feels gentle to the lips but the aftertaste is very distinct…
SHO: I feel like I can drink a lot of this~
(Sho starts drinking more)
MAMIYA: There’s a saying that good alcohol shouldn’t be wasted so, drink as much as you’d like.
MAMIYA: It’s alright, it’s just us leaders here anyway.
SHO: We won’t be troubled if we see each other drunk, huh~
MAMIYA: That’s right. Since we’re here drinking good alcohol, why don’t we talk about things that we can only talk about as leaders?
SHO: Like what?
MAMIYA: Hm, let me see… For example… How did you feel when your CD was first released?
SHO: You mean, my solo song?
MAMIYA: Yeah.
SHO: I really felt… nervous about my first song.
SHO: Of course, I did feel a little bit excited about it, too.
MAMIYA: Same here. I’ve been super nervous about it starting from how people would feel about it until the time I actually saw it on sale.
MAMIYA: But…
SHO: But?
MAMIYA: Hm… It’s just a little bit but… I was scared, too…
SHO: That’s… That’s unexpected. In what way were you scared? Was it because the expectations were too much?
SHO: Or because yours was the first one released?
MAMIYA: Hm… There’s that, too. I mean, I was first in line for the VAZZROCK Project, right?
MAMIYA: I had it in mind that I can’t fail at the very beginning.
MAMIYA: Plus, in my case, I have history with an old unit so… I was thinking about how the old unit’s fans would feel if I released a song without the old members. I got too worried about that, too.
SHO: I see. You’d be curious about how your old fans reacted, huh.
MAMIYA: I guess I was, even though we got newer fans, too.
MAMIYA: That’s why, I totally couldn’t sleep on the day the CD was going to be released.
MAMIYA: And I can’t really yawn during the release event so I had to use some super cold eye drops so early in the morning.
SHO: (chuckles) So you did something like that, huh?
MAMIYA: For real.
SHO: I didn’t know… You just seemed so relaxed to me before and after your CD’s release.
SHO: I guess that’s a part of your character, too, huh.
MAMIYA: Then, my feint worked. It’d be nice if I managed to fool the others, too.
SHO: At the very least, you managed to fool me~
MAMIYA: Well, I’m glad about that. (sighs) I can really only talk about these kinds of things with you.
MAMIYA: I mean… I don’t think that we have to be perfect because we’re the leaders but… There are times when we can’t show the members we’re nervous, right?
SHO: Yeah, I know…
MAMIYA: I know that even leaders feel lost or weak sometimes but… Ah… It makes me wonder what would happen if my members see me like this or something…
MAMIYA: As someone who should pull them along, I don’t want to show them any unnecessary anxieties that I feel.
SHO: That’s right. And not just as leaders. We’re the older members too so, there are times that the younger ones get influenced by us.
MAMIYA: Exactly!! That, too! My unit’s got more people who just debuted unlike ROCK DOWN, right?
MAMIYA: If I say this in front of people who just entered the industry, I feel like they’d be disillusioned by what the people around them do or say in the future!
SHO: That’s true, it is a specialized industry after all.
MAMIYA: In an unstable world like this, the only ones you can count on are your friends. Specially the leader who leads the way. To them, we’re the bright light that guides them along.
SHO: They’ll feel uneasy if the light becomes small or unstable, won’t they?
MAMIYA: That’s exactly it. No matter how strong the winds may become, the light should never disappear.
MAMIYA: Even if we have to desperately protect the light, you know?
SHO: So even you think of things like this, huh, Takaaki…
MAMIYA: He-he~ Being shameless means that I’d be great at hiding secrets, too~
MAMIYA: Well, I can say these things now because of a certain someone.
SHO: A certain someone?
MAMIYA: I can only open up about this because I’m with you, Sho. A unit leader just like me.
SHO: (smiles) I’m honoured.
SHO: Then, I guess it’s my turn to reveal some secrets.
MAMIYA: Heh~ You have something, too?
SHO: Of course, I do.
»»————- ★ ————-««
[15:23]
SHO: Unlike VAZZY, our average age is not that young. And we have a lot of members who have already been in the industry before.
SHO: So this is from a slightly different point of view but…
MAMIYA: Like, how you had difficulty trying to be in charge of people from different fields in the industry?
SHO: I won’t say that I didn’t have that in mind but...
SHO: But, I guess I did feel some… anxieties, maybe? about why I was chosen to be the leader.
MAMIYA: Eh? Why so?
SHO: You know? I’m the type who thinks that it’s okay even if the oldest member is not the leader.
MAMIYA: Hm… Well, that’s true. In the entertainment industry, sometimes it’s the career history and not the age that’s the deciding factor.
SHO: Exactly. I wasn’t familiar with that kind of common sense in the entertainment industry.
SHO: Even though I was introduced to the agency, it was as a violinist, not as a talent.
SHO: Even though I knew what kind of world I was entering when I became a talent, I never once imagined that I would be a unit leader.
SHO: It made me feel uneasy a lot.
MAMIYA: Heh… I’m sorry to say this but—I never really noticed since you always seemed so relaxed!
MAMIYA: And, from my point of view, you always seemed so elegant.
SHO: There were times when I just laughed it off to make it seem okay, you know?
SHO: I’m so glad that my feint worked~
MAMIYA: That just means that we’re both good at keeping up appearances.
SHO: (chuckles) That seems to be the case.
SHO: But, I’m glad I got to talk about this with you.
SHO: It made me remember that it’s okay for leaders to experience troubles, too.
MAMIYA: Me, too. I feel so relieved that I’m not the only one who felt lost at times.
MAMIYA: Well— (softly) This is just between you and me, okay~?
SHO: A secret just for the two of us, huh~
MAMIYA: Totally~ Then, let’s praise ourselves for getting us all the way here, shall we~?
SHO: Agreed~
SHO: Now then, leader~ Thanks for your hard work.
MAMIYA: To you as well, leader~ Thanks for your hard work.

Track 01: 『ばずらじ、リーダートークの回』 “VAZZRaji: Leaders’ Talk Chapter”
»»————- ★ ————-««
[0:00]
MAMIYA: Alrighy, let’s get started then~
SHO: That’s right. Listeners, are you ready?
MAMIYA: VAZZROCK Radio a.k.a. VAZZRaji—
SHO: Start~!
MAMIYA: Today’s MC is VAZZY’s leader, Mamiya Takaaki and~
SHO: ROCK DOWN’s leader, Onoda Sho will be delivering the broadcast to you~
MAMIYA: Wait, why aren’t we using the legendary tea table? I was looking forward to that, too… (1)
SHO: I’d say it’s because there’s only the two of us here.
MAMIYA: Well, it’s spacious so let’s use it even if it’s just the two of us!
SHO: Maybe this is the staff’s decision so that it won’t feel a bit too lonely in here.
MAMIYA: I see.
MAMIYA: Well, I guess it’d take some getting used to. I mean, this past year, we’ve finally managed to get closer to each of our units’ members, right?
SHO: That’s right~
SHO: Our unit feels like the household of a couple who’s been married for over 30 years~
MAMIYA: (laughs) Thirty, you say? That’s a little bit too relaxed now, isn’t it?
SHO: (chuckles) VAZZY has a lot of young members so, is it safe for me say that it would feel as if you were in the middle of raising children?
MAMIYA: Raising kids, huh~? It’s not really inaccurate so I find it kinda funny~
MAMIYA: We’re showing our different tastes as units now, aren’t we~?
SHO: Yup, we’ve gotten more work as units, too, so I’m sure that things will continue to be more interesting~
MAMIYA: Exactly! VAZZY’s really tight-knit now~ Thanks to that, we can finally have this leaders’ talk~
MAMIYA: Well, I guess even though I say that, when we get home, everyone will be waiting for us anyway.
SHO: That’s true~!
SHO: I imagined co-habiting to be somewhat similar to being in prison but, we have our own common rooms and it feels so wonderful, doesn’t it?
MAMIYA: You just said, “being in prison,” didn’t you…?! What kind of imagination do you have?!
SHO: Oh? Is that wrong~?
MAMIYA: Also, say that we’re living in a dorm. Ah, but just so there aren’t any misunderstandings— Every one of us have our own rooms and we have our own hometowns, okay? Please keep that in mind.
SHO: We’re all just in the same apartment complex~
MAMIYA: Yup, yup! The members are just living next door~
SHO: It’s really convenient when we’re borrowing soy sauce, huh~?
MAMIYA: (laughs) That’s kinda an unexpected situation for someone living in the city.
SHO: Ah! Speaking of… Ruka said the other day that he wanted to take a peek at everyone’s sleeping faces but… Do you know what he’s talking about?
MAMIYA: That guy’s saying things like that again?
MAMIYA: Ah, simply put… He’ll be sneaking into a sleeping member’s room and then film their sleeping faces with a camera.
MAMIYA: It’s kinda like a wake-up prank.
SHO: (excited) That sounds so exciting~! When should we do it~?
MAMIYA: WAIT A SEC!! You’re only saying that ‘cause you think it won’t happen to you!
SHO: To me? Hm… I don’t really remember how my mornings go so… I don’t know if I’ll even manage to make tea for him when he comes around…
MAMIYA: There we go— You low blood pressure bastard…
MAMIYA: My Ouka’s got low blood pressure so I can kinda understand but, waking him up is really troublesome, you know?
MAMIYA: What do you do when you need to be somewhere at an early time, Sho?
SHO: (excited) I have Haruto wake me up~! (sparkles)
MAMIYA: Wow… That’s a nice smile…
MAMIYA: It’s definitely hard on Haruto, right? No… I guess he’s used to it by now.
SHO: (chuckles) Are you the type who wakes up easily, Takaaki?
MAMIYA: Hm… I think I’m a light-sleeper. Though, I can fall asleep quick, too.
SHO: (chuckles) I’m now at a loss whether you’re sensitive or not~
MAMIYA: It’ll be a huge advantage when you’ve been in the industry for a long time~
SHO: Please teach me next time!
SHO: In any case, Ayumu’s going to be completely against the wake-up prank but Gaku’s going to play along~ We’ll be in your care if the opportunity does arise, okay~?
MAMIYA: You’re exactly the kind of guy who would make that happen…
MAMIYA: (sighs) I wonder how I should tell Ouka and Issa about this… Wait, maybe I shouldn’t. They’ll just get mad at me or something…
SHO: (chuckles) I’m looking forward to it~
»»————- ★ ————-««
[03:45]
MAMIYA: Oh, that’s right! Did we mention today’s talk topic yet?
SHO: I wonder… In any case, isn’t it just about how the VAZZROCK Project has surpassed a year since our start?
MAMIYA: It’s so like you to not remember if we said the topic but then perfectly remember what it actually is.
SHO: Thank you~ Is that the correct response~?
MAMIYA: It is, it is! Well, I guess we should just continue, huh?
SHO: (chuckles) Nothing will change even if we confirm it anyway.
MAMIYA: VAZZRaji’s strong point is how everyone can just listen to it with a relaxed atmosphere.
SHO: That’s right.
SHO: Since it’s been a year, are there any things that you found to have changed since we all started co-habiting?
MAMIYA: Hm… Let me see… Ah! Vazz and Rock have gotten so much bigger since we got them~
SHO: We got new members of the family when they got here, huh~?
MAMIYA: Ever since they got here, my phone’s camera roll is now full of cats, you know~?
SHO: (chuckles) You’ve completely fallen in love with them now~
MAMIYA: I mean, it’s hard not to take a pic of them when they’re clinging to you or when they’re sleeping, right?! Doesn’t Reiji take lots of pics of the cats, too?
SHO: He doesn’t make it obvious when people are watching him but, he spoils them a lot~ He secretly bought them toys, too!
MAMIYA: Exactly! (laughs) Wait—It’d be meaningless if we just revealed that.
SHO: Didn’t you get scolded by Ouka regarding an issue with Vazz and Rock?
MAMIYA: Wha--!? How did you know that?
MAMIYA: I didn’t get scolded~ Mama just gave me a li~ttle warning, okay~?
SHO: Just to be specific, what did you do?
MAMIYA: I… gave them too many treats~! (laughs)
MAMIYA: But, you know~? Those kitties eat them up so much when I bring the treats out~
SHO: They’re so cute…!
MAMIYA: Very.
SHO: Then, it can’t be helped.
MAMIYA: Right?! Well, he explained that it’d be bad for them if the cats got too fat so, I’m holding back for now.
SHO: (smiles) How admirable~ You’ve levelled up as a pet owner, huh~?
MAMIYA: It’s more like, I was forced to level up.
SHO: You’re really raising everyone, huh~?
MAMIYA: Exactly. Hey, wait! (smiles) Has anything happened to you in the past year aside from us all living together?
SHO: Well, that’s~ It’s the same as what you’re thinking, isn’t it~?
MAMIYA: Pretty much~
MAMIYA/SHO: It’s VAZZLive, right? | It’s VAZZLive, isn’t it~?
MAMIYA: (laughs) That’s just gotta be it, right~?
SHO: It is our first live after all~
MAMIYA: That was fun, huh?
SHO: Yup! Just remembering it now still makes me excited.
MAMIYA: To be honest, I didn’t expect out first live to be that exciting.
SHO: Is that so?!
MAMIYA: I mean, we did perform songs that were just released, you know?
SHO: That’s true. Do you think preparing for all of that was difficult for everyone who attended?
MAMIYA: I think so. But still, everyone went along with us.
MAMIYA: The members all felt like one as if we’ve been together all our lives!
SHO: Once you’ve tasted it, you can never truly go back to not knowing what it feels like, huh?
MAMIYA: (laughs) Exactly!
SHO: Compared to me, you look like you’re so used to it. How did that feel for you?
MAMIYA: Hmm~ I may be used to it more compared to the other members but, that was my first event with VAZZROCK so I was secretly nervous.
MAMIYA: Well, I did get too carried away when we actually started though.
MAMIYA: What about you, Sho? You’ve performed in much larger concert halls, right?
SHO: Hm… In terms of audience count, that may be true but, the image of the penlights waving and all of that is—
(Their conversation fades out)
»»————- ★ ————-««
[07:20]
SHO: (to the staff) Thank you very much for today.
MAMIYA: (to the staff) Thank you very much! Our other members will be in your care next time, too.
SHO: It might be our turn again before that, you know~?
MAMIYA: (laughs) They have to shuffle the members around!
MAMIYA: (to the staff) Then, thank you for your hard work!
SHO: (to the staff) Thank you very much.
SHO: We’ll be going ahead now.
(Door opens and Mamiya and Sho walk out)
MAMIYA: (stretches) Thanks for your hard work.
SHO: You, too. We managed to finish it without any incidents, huh?
MAMIYA: (laughs) Won’t it be a problem if an incident happened while the leaders were in charge?
SHO: Well, I guess so~ (smiles)
MAMIYA: Alright then… (Mamiya checks the time) 6:30, huh…
MAMIYA: This is just the perfect time, isn’t it~?
SHO: For what?
MAMIYA: Sho, do you have anything scheduled after this?
SHO: My work for today’s done after VAZZRaji.
MAMIYA: Then, should we go?
SHO: Um…??? Go where?
MAMIYA: (smirks) Of course~ To someplace nice~

[Translation] VAZZROCK Play of Color Series Vol. 2 Drama Track 1
Here’s the translation for the first drama track in VAZZROCK’s Play of Color Series~! This is so much fun~! It’s a lot more serious compared to “Trust Me, Trust Me’s” drama tracks but it still feels wonderful to listen to!
※ Please don’t re-post the English translations without permission. Please just like/reblog them instead ^^
Under the cut, enjoy~!
Track 01: 「悩める少年」 “Troubled Youth”
[0:00]
YUMA: Hmm… (flipping pages)
YUMA: The required units to take for this is… 48. (Yuma starts writing) And the compulsory subjects are… (Yuma circling words on paper) This, this, and this.
YUMA: And then… Ah, this is needed, too.
YUMA: I have a lot of work to do at night so maybe it’s a good idea to have them all done before it gets late.
YUMA: Like maybe… take them three times a week…?
YUMA: Ah, but… it’s been decided that I should at least take two days for school and maybe try to map out my work days on weekdays, too…
YUMA: Hm… (groans, puts down his paper and pencil)
YUMA: (sighs) I didn’t know that registering for a course would be this difficult…
YUMA: It overlaps with work so much that I’m a bit troubled…
YUMA: If it was only my solo work then I’d maybe prioritize my school work or at least try to balance them.
YUMA: But, if it’s an activity with VAZZY, I might trouble for everyone else…
YUMA: One more day until the deadline…
YUMA: I feel like I won’t come up with an answer if I think about it alone.
YUMA: Maybe I should talk about this with someone…
<-------------------->
[01:25]
(door opens and then closes)
YUMA: Everyone’s out…
YUMA: Takaaki-san’s schedule is… Ah, a location filming since this morning.
YUMA: Ahh… I should’ve discussed this with someone earlier…
YUMA: Hm?
(Ruka is arranging cans on the shelf)
RUKA: Ouka-kun, where do I put this? Oh, this one goes here. This one’s… Ah, there’s one like this here already.
RUKA: Um… Ah, this, this! This one goes here and the fruit ones go inside here… Alrighty!
RUKA: Yay~! This should do it.
OUKA: Thank you, Ruka. It’s a big help that you’re here.
OUKA: If it were just me alone, I’d be absolutely puzzled about where to stock that huge amount of canned goods.
RUKA: I got a bit scared when I saw you just standing still there though~
RUKA: It’s completely fine with me~ I guess I’m the lucky one here~!
RUKA: I can take what I want from these canned goods, right~?
OUKA: Yeah, go ahead. It’s not an amount that I can finish by myself after all.
RUKA: True. The boxes were filled to the brim, huh.
RUKA: Though, I guess since they’re canned, they can be stored for a long time.
RUKA: Still, the dorm feels more like a dorm now, doesn’t it?
RUKA: Wait… I’m amazed you could even bring all of them here.
RUKA: The boxes were filled with cans, right? Weren’t they extremely heavy?
OUKA: Of course I couldn’t carry them by hand so, I borrowed a cart from the agency.
RUKA: Well, I guess that’s the obvious choice~!
RUKA: They were from a model friend of yours overseas, right?
OUKA: Yeah. A few years ago, we did an event together on stage and we’ve been in contact ever since.
OUKA: He’s an Austrian living in Czech right now.
RUKA: !!! That’s a bit complicated.
OUKA: He is a bit strange but he is an interesting person.
RUKA: Well, he does send canned goods without any prior notice so… I can tell that he is a bit strange!
OUKA: (chuckles) It seems like he’s really into them right now.
OUKA: It looks like he enjoyed it so much that he couldn’t wait to recommend it to someone else.
RUKA: Heh~ It’s true that there are a lot of labels that I’m interested in!
OUKA: Like, which one?
RUKA: Um… (Ruka reaches over to the shelf) Like these ones!
RUKA: Now that I take another look at them, these cans look kinda fancy ♪
RUKA: Look, look! This one’s so colourful and so pretty~!
RUKA: The label looks like a picture book but oh my♪ It’s aged sardines! It’s iwashi, right? (1)
OUKA: Ruka’s hobby is… collecting beer cans, correct?
OUKA: Do you like shiny things?
RUKA: Wow, you say that like I’m a crow, huh… Though, I like them!
RUKA: (humming) Ah, look at this, look at this~! This cute one looks like it could be used for decoration, right?
RUKA: The big ones over here can be used to hold accessories and stuff after it’s been washed and cleaned~
RUKA: Isn’t it fun thinking about them like that~?
OUKA: It looks like you’re enjoying this a lot more than I am.
YUMA: (approaches them slowly) Um…
RUKA/OUKA: Hm?
<-------------------->
[04:30]
YUMA: Good afternoon, Ouka-san and Ruka-san.
OUKA: Yeah.
RUKA: Oh, it’s Yuma-kun~! What’s up, what’s up~?!
RUKA: It’s a weekday afternoon, y’know? What about school?
RUKA: Oh yeah! You already graduated [from high school]! And you recently got accepted to college~!
RUKA: You went from a high schooler to a university student! From DK to DD! (2)
RUKA: Congratulations~!! (clapping)
YUMA: A-ah, yes… (chuckles) Thank you very much.
OUKA: Oh yeah, now that you mention it. Let me congratulate you as well, Yuma.
OUKA: I’ll send you something as a congratulatory present later.
RUKA: I’ll treat you to a delish dinner as a present, too~!
YUMA: (chuckles) That makes me happy.
RUKA: Oh? What’s really wrong? You’re looking glum, Yuma-kun.
YUMA: It’s um… Actually… I have something I wanted to consult with you about university…
RUKA/OUKA: Hm?
<-------------------->
[05:23]
RUKA: I see. Registering for courses. How nostalgic~
RUKA: It’s the number one most surprising change you face after graduating high school, huh?
YUMA: It really was a shock…
RUKA: I figured it would be~ I mean, not once in my life have I ever had to decide my own schedule. But then, they handed me the list of schedules.
RUKA: “We offer guidance too but, please decide on your own first!” is what it felt like.
RUKA: It gets puzzling sometimes, doesn’t it?
YUMA: Exactly…! (Yuma suddenly stands up and slams his hands on the table) That’s exactly it!
RUKA/OUKA: O-oh…!
OUKA: Oh… It looks like this guy’s being driven to a corner more than I thought…
RUKA: That’s right…
YUMA: I-I’m so sorry… (clears throat and sits back down)
YUMA: I know how to do it because it was explained to us.
YUMA: I do but… I keep wondering about whether this is enough or if maybe there’s a better way to arrange them…
YUMA: It made me think about a lot of different things.
YUMA: It sounds pathetic, I’m aware…
OUKA: Nothing about it really is though.
RUKA: By the way, what about your partner Nao-kun? He just entered university too, didn’t he?
YUMA: I chose a different school and department from Nao so the process of registering was different for both of us.
YUMA: Plus, it seems like the first years in his school have a lot of subjects to do that they don’t have that much free time.
YUMA: He told me that he didn’t have to think it through much.
RUKA: I see. I guess it’s true that it’s different for each place.
YUMA: Ruka-san’s already graduated from college, right…?
RUKA: Yup~ I’m a university graduate.
RUKA: I went to the same university as Gakkun but I was in the Sociology Department. Gakkun was in the Business Administration Department.
RUKA: Our departments were different.
OUKA: Sociology Department and Business Administration…? Is that so?
RUKA: Oh, you didn’t know?
OUKA: Yeah. I knew that you two were in the same school for elementary, middle, and high school as well as university but…
OUKA: I feel a bit upset hearing that now after knowing that information.
RUKA: (laughs) I’ll talk about it as much as you want if you just asked~
RUKA: If you’d like, I’d be willing to let you interview me~
RUKA: Though, I have no idea of your academic background so I may ask you a lot of things about it.
RUKA: You’re a university graduate too, aren’t you, Ouka-kun?
OUKA: As far as I’m concerned, yes.
YUMA: As far as you’re concerned…? Meaning?
OUKA: I’ve been doing work since I was very young after all. I didn’t have much time to actually attend university.
OUKA: I managed to pass somehow by passing reports and theses papers.
YUMA: I-I think it’s amazing how you can pass with just that…!
RUKA: Oh, here, here~! I attended university normally, y’know~?
RUKA: I guess this is my time to shine, huh!
RUKA: Leave it to me, Yuma-kun!
YUMA: Yes, Ruka-san!
<-------------------->
[08:03]
YUMA: This might be too sudden but… You debuted when you were in your first year at college, didn’t you, Ruka-san?
RUKA: I totally did~ But, I was a totally nameless actor then though.
RUKA: I was doing work as an extra here and there, too.
RUKA: I did have a lot of chances standing on stage but they were all just minor roles.
RUKA: Ya know, like, there weren’t even any lines for me at all.
OUKA: It’s kinda hard to imagine that now since you’re a shining actor who takes center stage nowadays.
OUKA: I guess you could call that your lowest social stage.
RUKA: Totally~ Still, even if I wasn’t at all successful then, it’s not like I was destitute~! It’s totally not a tragic story at all!
OUKA: Eh?
RUKA: I mean, I am a part of a huge agency like TsukiPro after all.
RUKA: I had a lot of other complex jobs that I did. Thanks to that, I had tons to do and I didn’t worry about what I’ll eat afterwards.
RUKA: Someone I know who’s been acting for as long as I have did part-time jobs while acting, too. Still, there are a lot of stories of people doing that but still only scraping by so, I’m grateful for what I had.
YUMA: Were you already in the dorms then, too?
RUKA: Yup, I was~ In other words, I didn’t have to worry about rent and the electric bill~!
RUKA: That was a big deal, too, huh.
YUMA: That’s true…
RUKA: Oh, by the way, I wasn’t living in this dorm when I was in university.
YUMA: Eh? Is that so?
RUKA: Yeah! Back then, I was living in a much smaller building in the Okubo area. It was kinda like an apartment.
RUKA: It’s three floors and only 5 minutes to the station~!
RUKA: The rooms were… Wait, I think they were kinda like a 1-LDK kinda thing…? (3)
OUKA: I didn’t know that we had dorms in Okubo, too.
OUKA: Shibuya, Okubo, and here, huh…
YUMA: I heard that there were dorms in the Akihabara District, too. Oh, and around Akasaka as well.
YUMA: The other employees have their own dorms, too, correct?
RUKA: It seems like there are some rooms that the agency lends occasionally.
RUKA: Like for meetings and for fittings. Oh, and since there are people who miss trains often because of the nature of their work.
RUKA: They lend out rooms for them to sleep in when that happens~!
YUMA: So we had stuff like that, too…
OUKA: I know about that part. It seems like Takaaki uses them sometimes.
OUKA: There’d be a huge scandal if he were to stay in a run-down hotel, right?
YUMA: I see…!
RUKA: So, going back to the topic~
YUMA: A-ah…! Yes, sorry for going out of topic.
RUKA: So, let’s conclude~!
RUKA: You’ll be okay. It’s possible to balance school with work after all! Rest assured~
RUKA: And if you’re having trouble with your schedule, you can just discuss it with your manager—ah, wait, you don’t have your own yet. You can ask Takaaki-kun, your leader!
RUKA: I think it would be best to decide while talking to an agency office staff, too~!
YUMA: Consult with an office staff…?
OUKA: You’re making a face that’s saying you didn’t think of that possibility.
YUMA: Ah… Y-yes, that’s right…
YUMA: I see… It concerns work so I have to consult with the people at the agency, too, don’t I?
RUKA: Exactly~! When you do, put into mind what your aspirations are, okay?
RUKA: In the first place, the schedule is for you to decide your own curriculum since its purpose is for students to think of what they want to be in the future and to think of what they want to learn.
RUKA: First, you have to think of what you want to learn for what you want your future to be, Yuma-kun~
RUKA: You have to have that clear in your head.
YUMA: It’s true… You’re right…
YUMA: My future… What I want to learn…
RUKA: Think, think, oh young one~! And then, go attack the agency!
YUMA: I’ll think about it carefully for now.
RUKA: Hm?
YUMA: Would it be alright to discuss with the agency what I have written for my own?
YUMA: I’m worried that they might think it’s a bit selfish of me.
RUKA: What~!? No way! What are you saying? Of course, it’s going to be fine!
RUKA: The reason why the office staff and the managers are here is to support you with all of that~
RUKA: Right, Ouka-kun~?
OUKA: Yeah, it’s as Ruka says. It’s a necessary step for work.
OUKA: There’s no way that they’ll think of it as selfish.
OUKA: If you have concerns or things you want some help in, I think it would be a good choice to consult with them about it, too.
OUKA: Plus…
YUMA: Plus?
OUKA: This might seem a bit harsh when you’re at a loss but…
YUMA: Please tell me, Ouka-san.
OUKA: Well then, Yuma…
OUKA: Not consulting with the agency about hindrances you might experience at work is… a bit unprofessional, don’t you think?
OUKA: Deciding that it’s impossible without telling anyone about it and then saying “I can’t do it,” at a crucial time is much worse.
YUMA: (quietly) Ah… Y-yes, you’re right…
OUKA: A-ah, no, I…
RUKA: Still, asking someone older than you for advice is a bit of a hard hurdle, huh?
RUKA: But, I totally get what Ouka-kun’s trying to say. I totally do! That’s important, too~!
RUKA: Like, you know how it’d be a huge tragedy if someone says, “I’ve hurt my foot,” right when the big play’s about to start?!
RUKA: The people around you have to fix it as soon as they can and there’s the possibility that everything we’ve worked hard at rehearsal will go to waste.
OUKA: Ruka… // YUMA: Ruka-san…
RUKA: That. Is. Why~!
RUKA: Yuma-kun! You have one choice!
RUKA: You have to use me, Ouka-kun or Takaaki-kun as much as you want when you’re troubled about something!
YUMA: (chuckles) “Use,” you say?
RUKA: Alright, I’ll re-phrase it! You can rely on us~!
YUMA: Rely on you…?
RUKA: Yup, rely on us. That’s important, too.
OUKA: That’s right.
YUMA: Eh?
OUKA: I’m not good at putting it into words. Even if I try to say the same thing, I end up saying it in such a harsh way.
OUKA: Even so, I… We’re your friends. Don’t forget that.
OUKA: If you have to fight then, the agency will fight with you.
YUMA: Ah… Ouka-san…!
OUKA: F-first, you have to be clear of your feelings and what you want to do. Everything starts from there.
YUMA: Yes… (Yuma stands up) Yes, you’re right! I feel so refreshed now.
YUMA: Ouka-san, Ruka-san, thank you very much. (Yuma bows)
RUKA: O-o-oh~! I’m so relieved~!
RUKA: The frown on Yuma-kun’s face has disappeared~!
YUMA: E-eh…? Was I frowning…?
OUKA: A little bit, yeah.
YUMA: A-ah…!
RUKA/OUKA/YUMA: (laughs)
<-------------------->
[15:03]
OUKA: If he found out that you had this kind of conversation with us… Takaaki would probably feel a bit sad.
YUMA: E-eh…?
RUKA: Is that you speaking from his point as a leader?
OUKA: I’m sure he probably won’t cry but, I think more so than being a leader he… He loves taking care of people more.
RUKA: (laughs) I see now~! Something like, “I wish you relied on me, too!”
OUKA: That’s it exactly.
YUMA: I-I’ll go and contact Takaaki-san later about it, too. (nervous chuckle)
OUKA: (smiles) Please go do that.

ROA: Hm... We both drink but Rei’s stronger, I think. I can hold mine pretty well though.
REI: I think you’re pretty strong, too, though.

PART 2:
ROA: Rei-san, are you the type who doesn’t feel that way?
REI: Maybe so. I don’t really feel the need to rush.
ROA: That must be nice~! That kind of relaxed adult feeling. Do you even feel rushed in any way, Rei? Aside from that one time when Shu got super angry.

[Translation] VAZZY VAZZLIVE Pamphlet - Cast Interviews
Remember the original VAZZY - Beginning - cast interviews that I did before? Well, this is kinda the (extended ??) continuation of those interviews! It has almost the same questions as the ROCK DOWN ones but there’s also a few differences ^^
They talk about which VAZZROCK character they’re curious about, what kind of image they had of their characters and stuff like that! Still, I included the old interview just so it feels ‘complete’ XD
Thank you again to Auntie Moch (@/bundanyaharuto on Twitter) for sharing with me the scans and for indulging on our headcanons about VAZZROCK!! XD
※ Please don’t re-post and re-translate this interview under any circumstances. If you want to translate it to your native language, I can provide the kanji I transcribed from the scans ^^
Under the cut, enjoy! Very text-heavy so please be prepared for quite a long read ^^;
[VAZZY]
Mamiya Takaaki (C.V. Shingaki Tarusuke), Kira Ouka (C.V. Kobayashi Yusuke). Kiduku Issa (C.V. Yamanaka Masahiro), Kiduku Futaba (C.V. Shirai Yusuke), Oyama Naosuke (C.V. Sasa Tsubasa) & Shirase Yuma (C.V. Horie Shun)
[VAZZY] – Your expectations for a new [Beginning]
Q1: Thank you for your hard work on the recording. First, can you please tell us any impressions you had on today’s recording?
SHINGAKI (MAMIYA): While this is a story about [VAZZY]’s beginning, it is also about how the team came together at first. Like, the scene where they were making hotpot, before they noticed, the roles were already divided between them. That way, the process is more easily enjoyable than originally thought to be and, as the one voicing the leader, I could feel the happiness being conveyed. During the cooking scene, it was Takaaki’s first time being in charge and unexpectedly, those boys listened to him despite having their own strong personalities. Though, it might’ve just been because everyone was hungry and in a hurry [to finish cooking] so they could eat (laughs).
KOBAYASHI (OUKA): Leader’s definitely the type who is kind to anyone, and Issa’s the type who acts like his usual self no matter who he talks to. Among [VAZZY]’s members, I think that Ouka’s definitely the type whose attitude varies depending on who he’s talking to. Like, he has a very adult-like (mature) attitude when it comes to Takaaki, he clashes a lot with Issa, or how he turns into a big brother when he’s around Futaba. Having all these different expressions and attitudes made him really fun to act.
YAMANAKA (ISSA): He’s (Issa’s) very different from other characters I’ve voiced before and so I wasn’t really confident at first. Issa-kun has a lot of strong points and a strong personality so I had faced a lot of hardships regarding acting out his character. But, the recording sessions themselves were very fun. But, for this series, I plan to continue doing my best at bringing Issa-kun to life.
SHIRAI (FUTABA): To start off, I was really happy to find out that I’ll get to play brothers with Yamanaka-san who I was indebted to from the very beginning, and so the recording itself was very enjoyable. While it was inevitable that not all members would be around [for the recording], I was fortunate enough to be able to record with Yamanaka-san. I think it was good to have us be able to record together in order to help build up the characters’ chemistry [with each other] more.
SASA (NAOSUKE): “Who would’ve thought I’d be in TsukiPro?” is what I thought at first. Up until now it’s been my dream and right now I still don’t think that it’s really happening. I’ve always liked [TsukiPro]’s works and to think that I would be voicing a character under TsukiPro is something that I’m really grateful for. I’m so moved that I’ve ran out of words to actually describe how I feel!
HORIE (YUMA): Yuma’s only 18 years old but, out of all the other characters I’ve played, he’s the one who has an adult atmosphere to him and so I was really anxious at how I was going to play him at first. With the help of the staff as I consulted with them, I was able to imagine a Shirase Yuma within myself. This drama CD’s focus is on the characters, them having fun and enjoying themselves was very enjoyable to act. I hope to be able to bring to life Yuma’s complex personality and his real thoughts with this series.
[Something that surprised you and how you prepared to become a part of TsukiPro]
Q2: Please tell us how you felt when the VAZZROCK Series was decided.
HORIE: First, I was happy that I was able to be a part of it. Since it’s a series that has a huge focus on singing, my first thought was, “I’ll have to do my best with singing!” This is my first time singing [for a role] with a voice that’s not meant to be for a young boy(1) but, when I normally go to karaoke, I sing with a deeper voice so, people might not know this side of my voice yet. It’s just, since this is my first time trying to portray a different tone with a different voice, I think that the fans might be surprised or feel betrayed in a good way.
SASA: My surprise and happiness were so much that I initially thought, “Really? You’re pranking me, aren’t you?”… The feeling of longing was super strong… (laughs). Really, I had a lot of conflicting emotions but, the overwhelming feeling was mostly “GOD, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!”
SHIRAI: I’ve known about [Tsukiuta.] and then eventually [TsukiPro] so I was very happy. I was really looking forward to the recording session. In addition to the already existing series, 12 new characters are suddenly introduced. I think that we’ll give it our all as VAZZROCK so as to treasure and participate in the world that was already built.
YAMANAKA: I was very happy. I get to meet Issa-kun and I got excited about seeing how he’d interact with the onther members. Plus, when I saw that I get to play brothers with Shirai (Yusuke)-kun who I’ve been hosting a radio show with for over two years now, my first reach was “Oh!” and I felt very happy.
KOBAYASHI: I’ve heard of the series name [TsukiPro] before and to be able to be a part of a new project for it was an honor to me. When I received the demo song, it had a very adult-y feel to it and really had a nostalgic nuance because it reminded me of songs I listened to in middle school. It really felt close to me so, I felt very excited being able to sing a song with that kind of atmosphere.
SHINGAKI: I have heard of the [TsukiPro] Series before but for me to be able to be a part of it was beyond what I expected. I had wondered about what I would be doing as a part of this series but, when I read the script, it suddenly hit me that “Ah, my character’s kinda like the big bro type for everyone!” That’s why I felt like wanted to say “Hey, your big bro’s here!” while I was on the way to the studio.
[An Individuality of your character]
Q3: Please tell us any impressions you had about your character and impressions that changed after recording.
SHINGAKI: From the illustration, he looked like a cool character, his catchphrase is “Would you like to play with me?” so I thought that he might be the cool, smart type maybe? Well, that’s what I thought but when I read the script, I was like, “Wait, what?” (laughs). It was beyond what I imagined again.
But, my first impression was really how I thought I’d enjoy playing a character like him whose nature is pretty similar to mine. My image of him being able to do his job as a leader and gather them all hasn’t changed much. My initial thought was that he would be like [I can do anything so you guys follow me] but in reality he has weaknesses that are so realistic that it makes it easy for him to unite and cooperate with them. I could finally see that well after voicing him. Thanks to that, I could grasp that Takaaki was just a very passionate character.
KOBAYASHI: I thought from the initial illustration that he was “THE ・COOL” guy kind of person. Because he has sharp eyes, I kinda thought that he’d be the type of character in the series to say “I don’t plan on getting along with you”. When I actually read the script, it turned out that he has always been the type of guy who thought of [what he can do for the unit] from the beginning. He surely has been in the industry longer than anyone so he’s a bit particular about what he could do.
Also, I thought that he was like this perfect kind of person but, he’s a bit clumsy when he’s not doing his work as a celebrity… and the gap [with personality and appearance] is definitely too many! (laughs). But, I think that part of him makes him a cute and lovable character.
YAMANAKA: I thought that he would be the [great me] type of character and he has sharp eyes so I thought that he’d definitely have a bad personality (laughs). In the character’s relationship chart, it was written [Will he be able to get along with his unit…?] on it so I got a bit worried for a second.
But, when I actually started voicing him, it’s true that he’s a [great me] kind of character but, he’s a lot cuter than I originally thought. He has times when he’s not completely honest, there’s a part of him that likes getting spoiled by Futaba, there’s a part of him that clashes with the leader and Ouka, things like that. You get glimpses of that in this time’s drama that it really made me think that meeting VAZZY and being a part of it was a really good for Issa.
SHIRAI: He seemed like the sensible type of character who likes taking care of his brother so I wondered how he’d show his individuality at first. Personality-wise, there are parts of him that are similar to how I am so, it was kind of easy to imagine how he would be like. He gets bullied by Issa more than I thought so it made me feel a bit sorry for Futaba (laughs).
I thought that it was difficult for him to control the very free-spirited Issa but, he’s definitely the type who won’t let it show. I could grasp that he’s positive no matter what, and he has a very kind and generous heart that can face anything. I thought that he was an adult with strong mental fortitude.
SASA: I’ve always been the type who likes the “cutesy” kinds of 2D characters but, I have a weak spot for characters who seem cute but are actually strong-willed. And, since (Oyama) Naosuke-kun seemed a bit mischievous and really strong-willed, I personally thought “Wow, he sounds like he’s gonna be my oshi idol!”
I thought that he’d only be a more arrogant and mischievous boy but he’s actually very honest. He does have his arrogant and mischievous parts but, the image of him just being a straightforward boy is stronger, I think.
HORIE: A hot guy (laughs). I thought that he was this really perfect hot guy who had no worries at all and was extremely blessed. I wouldn’t completely say that he was a lone wolf but, he seemed like the type who’d put walls between him and other people sometimes. But, in actuality, he can talk with Naosuke who’s about the same age as him with no problems and he’s the type who can converse with people older than he is. I was a bit surprised to see how calm and collected he is.
Because of that, he can communicate with the others and is, in a good way, a bit vulgar. It makes him feel more human and I love that sort of impression more than my initial thought of him.
Q4: Is there another character aside from yourself that had a different image from your initial impression?
SHINGAKI: Since I’m the leader, I’m interested in how the unit will develop so, it’s Naosuke. Really, I just feel like calling his name out loud~ (laughs). [Hey, Naosuke!] or something. He is very straightforward to the point that he becomes frank, he’s not easily discouraged, and I’m sure that he won’t break easily. I’m looking forward to see what kind of face he’ll put up as he continues to grow in the story.
KOBAYASHI: Mine is Takaaki. I thought that he’d definitely be the type who’d get in a more heated argument with Ouka in that one scene with them but, it’s because of the slightly weird tension then that there’s a sense of security, too. It’s because Takaaki doesn’t easily break down that Ouka, and I who’s voicing him, can feel calm. I felt that he was going to be a really great leader.
YAMANAKA: Mine is Futaba. He can handle his brother more than I thought he would. He looked so soft and fluffy from the illustration but he’s actually a lot more capable than he shows. Issa normally abuses him so, he didn’t want to leave Ouka any bad memories when he invited him to go training with him. [He’s not only soft but he has a good head on his shoulders!] is what I think of him now.
SHIRAI: In my conversation with Ouka, not only were they the same age but Futaba has admired Ouka for so long that I thought he’d be someone who can talk to him with a special kind of awareness. Also, about how he interacts with the other members—like Ouka or mediating between Naosuke and Issa—Futaba, I think, is a person that balances the unit well.
SASA: Mine is Yuma-kun who is very close to Naosuke and has many scenes with him! My first impression of him was [Oh~ He’s definitely hiding a dark secret~] or something (laughs). My impression of him now is completely different and that he’s really just a gentle big brother who supports the energetic Naosuke no matter what.
HORIE: I thought that Issa would be a more [great me] type of character with a meaner personality but, he’s surprisingly very caring. He might seem to be the type who says something without minding the people around him but, it really surprised me to see that he says these kinds of words with the best intentions for the people beside him. Also, this isn’t really on topic but, my impression of Naosuke never changed much at all (laughs).
[Investigating the VAZZROCK characters!?]
Q5: Is there a character you’re curious about in the [VAZZROCK] Series?
SHINGAKI: When I first saw Ouka’s name and how it’s written, I had the strong image that [He’s the type of character that has a decided path and will continue pushing for it, maybe?] But, he turned out to be just a really hot-headed and awkward guy. I had the same impression when I heard Kobayashi (Yusuke)-kun during recording, too. Really, he’s just cute, huh?
KOBAYASHI: Mine’s Futaba. He can somehow mediate Ouka when he’s being a bit ill-tempered and yet, he’s still someone who can rely on somebody like Takaaki. Mediating between Issa and Ouka is his job… or rather, he thinks it’s his job so he just kind of does it. Takaaki and Ouka have a sort of stability as people working as celebrities but Futaba has a very realistic and different kind of stability, I think. He’s just on a whole different level so, we might get to see that in future releases, too.
YAMANAKA: Since everyone is so unique, just picking out one name is very difficult… Well, I am kind of curious about our easy-going leader Mamiya-kun but, if I were really to choose one, it would be my younger brother Futaba-kun. In any case, he’s so high-spec! First, he can control that Issa, he might seem like the soft type of guy but he can scold his brother properly, he can cook, he can play basketball, he can hold his alcohol… I guess I got curious about him a lot because we have a lot of scenes together but, I really do think he is so capable. That kind of quality in a guy might be popular with the ladies but for now, he’s too occupied with making his brother a priority (laughs).
SHIRAI: Mine is ROCK DOWN’s (Nadumi) Ruka. He looks so cute in appearance but when I looked at his profile, it said, “Manly” so I wondered what sort of character he’d be. And Koumoto (Keisuke)-kun, the guy who voices him, can do anything! He’s got a good career, he’s handy, but he sweats easily… what kind of information am I giving now? (laughs)
I’m extremely curious at how Koumoto-kun will approach acting this character. I think one main point is seeing how he’ll interact with the rest of the ROCK DOWN members.
SASA: Mine is definitely Ouka-san. The reason is very simple and it’s because I love his character design (laughs). I mentioned that I love the “cutesy” type characters but, another of my weak points is a “lean and very beautiful character” and Ouka-san just really hits that nail right on the head. I think he’s very cool.
HORIE: After having a few lines with Ouka, I sort of began imagining what else they could get along about. At first glance, they seem to be having a very cheerful discussion but, I feel that sometimes there’s that kind of wall of difference between them. Whether it’s a wall made by Ouka towards Yuma or whether it’s one made by Yuma towards Ouka, I can’t tell but… I think that perhaps Ouka still hasn’t completely opened up and showed his real self yet. I’m really looking forward to what kind of conversations they’ll have in the future.
[The story that continues to unfold for these greatly unique (diamond in the rough) characters is?]
Q6: Please say a message for all the fans reading now.
HORIE: I don’t know how VAZZY will develop from here on, or how it will grow. The slight mysteriousness of it all makes me feel very excited. If that same thrill is somehow felt by everyone who listens, then I’ll be very happy. Please continue to support VAZZY from here on.
SASA: I’ve always been a fan of all of TsukiPro’s works and, to see my name displayed as a voice actor under the [TsukiPro Info] for a character still feels very strange for me. We really never know what will happen in our lives. That’s why, to everyone who picks this up who’re not sure what’s going to happen, let’s face all of these things together and do our best…! And, if possible, please continue supporting VAZZROCK!
SHIRAI: The members this time all give a very adult-like atmosphere and they all have their own different personalities that go with it. Among them, I’m very excited myself to see how Futaba will continue to grow with the other members. I think that the fans will enjoy the songs that come with the CD as well. We will be in your care from here on.
YAMANAKA: The VAZZROCK series has finally started and I’m quite looking forward to seeing how it will continue to grow. I would be very happy if you could enjoy this CD together with your friends or no matter where you go. Thank you for your support.
KOBAYASHI: While thinking of how such different people got together to form the unit [VAZZY], Ouka, the character I play, is sort of a senpai among the other members but, I feel like along the way, those members will be teaching him something, too. That way, they will all be lending each other their powers and soon enough they will be a good team, is what I think. This time’s CD, and the CDs following this as well, is all about how the characters will grow. Although, they’re different for each, I’m quite looking forward to seeing how they develop. Everyone, please look forward to their development as well. And, please continue to support VAZZY, and ultimately, VAZZROCK as well.
SHINGAKI: They really are individuals with such unique personalities and us voice actors are truly looking forward to how these individuals’ personalities will complement each other to make VAZZY a good team. I hope that the day when we can show that we are a good team will come soon. It will be because of your support that our story can continue. Right now, we still can’t show full results, but I think that new things will surely be born out of this, so please continue giving us your support. This is a request from the Leader.

VAZZRAJI: ROCK DOWN Chapter
[0:00]
SHO: Now then, is everyone ready?
ALL: Yes~!/Yeah.
SHO: Shall we begin? VAZZROCK Radio, a.k.a. VazzRaji is~
ALL: Starting!
SHO: Alright, it’s started. It’s VazzRaji: ROCK DOWN Chapter.
SHO: It’s the TsukiPro famous live broadcast radio to get to know everyone better. Today’s main hosts will be me, ROCK DOWN’s leader Onoda Sho and~
RUKA: ROCK DOWN’s MC meaning~ It’s me, Nadumi Ruka will be delivering it to you~!
RUKA: We’re in your care, okay~? Alright, everyone, let’s get this party started! Applause~
(everyone starts clapping)
SHO: Then, let’s start with the self-introductions. Let me see…
SHO: Shall we go clockwise starting with Haruto?
HARUTO: Got it.
RUKA: Ah, a little explanation for those who don’t understand. Right now, the members are sitting at a very round tea table. (1)
REIJI: Why is it at a tea table though? Is it because there are a lot of people?
REIJI: Plus, isn’t it kinda mean to have six grown dudes sitting in a low tea table like this?
AYUMU: If the problem is with the number of people, wouldn’t a long rectangular table be fine, too?
REIJI: Right?
GAKU: I heard from the staff that it’s a tea table from tradition.
GAKU: It seems like a lot of dramas have been born on this very tea table.
REIJI: Wait, wait, wait! What kind of dramas are born in a radio broadcast in the first place?!
GAKU: Other times it’s a serious betting game, other times it’s a serious game of life. And sometimes, it’s a “hey, look over there” kind of competition.
GAKU: It seems like a lot of very personal and famous competitions have happened here.
HARUTO: I-it seems like they were just playing around…
GAKU: Well, that’s ‘cause it’s that kind of radio broadcast.
RUKA: Alright guys, stop~! You’re getting too heated about a tea table.
RUKA: We still haven’t introduced ourselves yet. To the listeners, we just sound like a bunch of dudes who suddenly got excited about a tea table’s history.
SHO: Even Haruto who was all ready to do a self-introduction looks as if he stopped wanting to talk midway.
GAKU: Oh yeah, that was right. Haruto, we’re sorry.
AYUMU: We’re sorry. Please continue.
REIJI: Alright, Haruto~ It’s your turn. Speak as much as you want!
REIJI: This is your chance to be playful and show your quirky side!
[02:40]
HARUTO: I’m ROCK DOWN’s Kujikawa Haruto. It’s nice to meet you.
REIJI: U-uh… That wasn’t playful at all, huh…
HARUTO: I had planned on being very playful though…!
REIJI: …
AYUMU: At what part…?
HARUTO: I made a weird face right at the end.
ROCK DOWN: Ah…
RUKA: Ah, that’s too bad!! It’s totally too unfortunate!
RUKA: Haru-kun, this is a radio broadcast. Just the sound’s being broadcast. They can’t see your face.
HARUTO: Oh goodness…!
REIJI: I feel like these jokes won’t end so I’m going next!
REIJI: (clears throat) I’m Amaha Reiji, ROCK DOWN’s sexiest man. It’s nice to meet you~
AYUMU: You’ll describe yourself like that…?
AYUMU: I’m ROCK DOWN’s Tachibana Ayumu. I’m not used to radio broadcasts so, I’m a little nervous.
AYUMU: I will be in your care.
GAKU: I’m Oguro Gaku. Please call me Gaku, or Gakkun, or whatever you like.
GAKU: Please enjoy yourselves as we slowly unravel our hearts to you.
RUKA: Welp, Haru-kun’s was a bit of a fail but the rest went on smoothly~
SHO: (chuckles) Let’s continue on with this kind of atmosphere then.
RUKA: You’re right!
SHO: This VazzRaji is for the fans to be able to get to know us better. It’s a radio where we’re all supposed to have fun~
RUKA: We can do convos like a while ago but, that’s normally how we’re like backstage or back at the dorms.
SHO: It’s our usual conversation, huh?
RUKA: Exactly! Let’s do it just like that, with a style that’s not trying too hard~
SHO: Maybe there will be people who’d be surprised and say, “Oh, so that’s what he’s like,” huh~?
SHO: Speaking as the leader, I know that everyone has their own cool and cute side. They all have their own appeal so, I hope that the listeners will be able to see that as well.
REIJI: Sho should show his cute side more, then.
SHO: (chuckles) I hope I meet their expectations.
HARUTO: I know all about Sho's cute sides so I'll present them all later.
HARUTO: I’ll try to do my best to show all my cute sides, too!
GAKU: Haruto’s got a “little brother” atmosphere so I think you’re already cute without trying.
HARUTO: Gaku-san…! What do you plan to do by making my heart throb like that?
GAKU: I wasn’t expecting anything.
HARUTO: Reiji-san, you’re making a shocked face over there. Please, don’t hesitate to spoil me, too. I don’t mind.
REIJI: Uwah… If we’re talking about wanting little brothers, I’d prefer Ayumu.
AYUMU: Don’t suddenly drag me into this.
AYUMU: Plus, I’d prefer being an older brother.
GAKU: What kinda conversation is this?!
RUKA: Alright, everyone~! It’s good that you’re getting along but, the conversation’s going nowhere.
RUKA: Let’s get started with the real deal then~ Today is VazzRaji: ROCK DOWN Chapter’s beginning so~
RUKA: We gotta have a talk of course! Here’s the theme~
(Ruka pulls out a signboard and shows it to everyone)
RUKA: “Please tell us all the nicknames you’ve had until today~!”
[05:51]
AYUMU: Nicknames, huh…
HARUTO: Do we just have to write it on the sketchbooks given to us before recording?
RUKA: Yep, that’s it~! But, since the listeners can’t see, you have to read it aloud.
RUKA: Then, everyone will go wild with responding over it~
AYUMU: I see…
AYUMU: To be honest, I don’t think I have a nickname that’s really interesting enough for everyone to talk about.
SHO: Actually, this was the same topic that VAZZY had.
SHO: They had someone there that didn’t have a nickname, too, so it’s going to be okay ♪
SHO: That in itself would make for a good talk.
REIJI: Sho didn’t say any names but, I can only think of one guy who doesn’t have a nickname (in VAZZY)!
GAKU: (chuckles)
RUKA: Alright, the time limit is one minute so write all you can~!
RUKA: After that, everyone will show theirs on the count of three, got it~?
RUKA: Alright, start!
(everyone gets flustered as they begin to write)
GAKU: That was sudden…
REIJI: Oh, for real?!
(everyone starts writing)
HARUTO: (muttering) There’s that… and that, too…
AYUMU: (muttering) Oh, there was that as well…
SHO: Alrighty ♪
HARUTO: That was fast…!
SHO: I had a lot of nicknames that I got from when I was performing overseas so it was all written in katakana.
REIJI: Damn…! Isn’t one minute too short?!
REIJI: Ah, there’s still—Uh…
RUKA: I started the countdown myself but this is bad…!
RUKA: Um, there’s that… and that… ah, and that, too…!
GAKU: I’m done.
AYUMU: Me, too.
AYUMU: Mine’s really normal so, I’m counting on everyone to please expand the talk.
GAKU: That’s kinda gallant of you to say.
GAKU: It’s gonna be okay~ There’s six of us so even if we talk about the weather, we can talk about it for 30 minutes.
AYUMU: I see. Thank you.
RUKA: How many more seconds left? 10 seconds?!
REIJI: Alright, I’m done!
RUKA: AH!
(bell dings)
SHO: Alright, time’s up~
RUKA: (panting) That was bad for my heart…
GAKU: Ruu has a lot of nicknames after all. You get a new nickname every time you go to a theatre.
AYUMU: That’s amazing.
RUKA: Well, being in the theatre is kinda like being in a school club.
AYUMU: Is that so…?
AYUMU: Though, it’s true that it did kind of feel like that during our KisoSekai performance.
AYUMU: It was fun.
GAKU: I think Ayumu would do well in a play, too!
SHO: Now then, now then~ Shall we announce what we wrote?
RUKA: Everyone, here we go! 1, 2, 3, go~!
(they all show their sketchbooks to each other)
ROCK DOWN: Woah…!
[08:33]
SHO: Should I read mine first?
SHO: Let’s see…
SHO: “Oono, Shoui, Snow, Ninja” These were nicknames that I got during my overseas violin recitals.
SHO: I don’t have much nicknames here in Japan. I’m usually just called ‘Sho’ here.
HARUTO: This is my first time hearing that Sho was a ninja…!
SHO: Of course I’m not ♪ Surprisingly, there are still a lot of foreigners who think that Japanese people equal ninja.
SHO: It wasn’t said to me specifically but, I’ve heard some Japanese people being given the nicknames “geisha” and even a kaijuu’s name.
HARUTO: I see.
AYUMU: Apparently, there are a lot of foreigners who find pronouncing Japanese names difficult.
SHO: Exactly. In my case, since my name is ‘Sho’ they felt that it sounded a bit short.
SHO: Though, there were a lot who just called me by my name.
REIJI: Here, here~! What does ‘Snow’ mean then? Or is it directly just that?
SHO: It is. Apparently, it was because of my appearance.
RUKA: It’s true! Sho-kun’s very pale~ You’re also thin and look frail so ‘Snow’ fits you perfectly~!
SHO: Though, I may not be frail as you imagine. That’s all for my nicknames ♪
SHO: Next one is Haruto. Go ahead~
HARUTO: Got it.
HARUTO: “Haru, Kujikawa Bomb, Warrior #2” Lately, I’ve been called “Sunshine Kujikawa” too.
HARUTO: Though, I’m happy that my nicknames have increased thanks to ROCK DOWN’s activities.
RUKA: Aside from the first ‘Haru’, the others sound so intense and powerful!
RUKA: Yep~ It’s proof that Haru-kun’s doing so well in ROCK DOWN!
REIJI: Ruka~ I really admire that positive thinking of yours sometimes.
REIJI: Rather than calling it a nickname, isn’t it more appropriate to call it some weird parts of Haruto?
HARUTO: (with an energetic voice) Let’s do this!
REIJI: Shut up!
SHO: Even though I’ve known Haruto the longest, there are still times when I’m surprised every time I see a new side of him.
SHO: That’s why every day feels so fresh~
SHO: Seeing him play along every now and then makes me happy as a leader ♪
AYUMU: I won’t deny that he’s been playing along. It might mean that… he’s becoming more amazing.
REIJI: Ayumu~ I’ll share my awesomeness with you so why don’t you release your awesome self~?
AYUMU: You’re right… There are times when I think that.
REIJI: Aren’t you… being too soft today?
AYUMU: Am I? (sighs) Maybe I am.
AYUMU: I might unexpectedly like this kind of calm talks.
RUKA: I’m glad that Ayumu-kun’s enjoying VazzRadio~!
RUKA: Alright~ Up next is Reiji-kun! Release your dark past~!
REIJI: Don’t just decide whether someone’s nickname is dark or not!
GAKU: But, isn’t there something awesome written there~?
REIJI: Well, I won’t deny that! I’ll explain it later so I’ll read it for now.
REIJI: Alright…
REIJI: “Amahane, Tenshi, Amaji, Reijii, Autto, Amahacchi, Tenbane, Host, Number 1, Pindon” Guess that’s about it.
REIJI: Alright, feel free to react!
GAKU: You’re kinda chill about this.
GAKU: Man~ I really like your professional attitude where you face anything head-on without trying to hide anything.
REIJI: Being able to read the atmosphere stops people from making fun of you in this industry.
RUKA: See~? Your professionalism is something else~
RUKA: Okay, can we ask you to explain now~?
REIJI: Roger.
REIJI: Well, “Amahane” is another way of reading my last name.
REIJI: “Tenshi” is, y’know? Take the “ten” character from “Amaha” and combine it with the “tsukasa” character in “Reiji”. That’s how it’s read.
REIJI: Then “Amaji” is really just another way to read my combined name.
REIJI: “Reijii” is just a longer way of pronouncing my name. Then “Autto” is from “outrage”. For some reason, only the first part remained. (2)
REIJI: It was just a nickname from when I was a teenager but, I wasn’t really that wild, y’know?!
SHO: Really? I feel like I’ve heard a lot about Reiji’s naughtiness even before I joined the agency.
REIJI: Ah… For real…?
SHO: For real~
AYUMU: By the way, that was around the time he met me.
GAKU: I see now. “Outrageous” Reiji and the serious Ayumu.
GAKU: No wonder you’re natural enemies.
REIJI: Wait a sec! Like I said, I wasn’t that naughty!
RUKA: Reiji’s fans from long ago might be laughing at that sarcastically now, huh~?
RUKA: Reiji-kun, Reiji-kun, continue explaining~
REIJI: (groans) You all better back me up after this.
REIJI: What’s left? Well, “Amahacchi” is self-explanatory.
REIJI: “Tenbane” is part of the ‘other reading’ series.
REIJI: “Host, Number 1, and Pindon” are also easy to understand.
REIJI: I was told that I act like a host sometimes so they gave me that nickname.
AYUMU: What’s “Pindon”…?
REIJI: It’s that really classy rosé champagne brand, “Dom Perignon”. It’s a pink champagne so “pink” plus “don”. Pindon.
REIJI: It’s a really expensive champagne that’s drunk at host clubs so I was given the image that I drink a lot of classy wines.
AYUMU: I see.
AYUMU: “You’re a man who splurges on classy wines,” is what it means, huh?
REIJI: I’ll tell you this, okay? It’s only an image and a misunderstanding, got it?
REIJI: I’m the type who’s actually pretty common and uses stuff until I can’t use them anymore.
ROCK DOWN: We know.
SHO: Reiji has his own perverse side but he really loves taking care of people after all~
HARUTO: He’s a kind senpai who taught me a lot, isn’t he?
GAKU: You’re a very doting man after all, huh?
REIJI: … Hearing it all from you directly is kinda annoying…
RUKA: Then, let’s go to Ayumu-kun next~
[14:56]
GAKU: We’re ready to expand the talk for you.
RUKA: Perfectly ready~!
AYUMU: You make my heart feel at ease. Thank you.
AYUMU: Mine is, “TachiHana, TachiAyu, Ayumin, Warrior No. 1” that’s all. (3)
HARUTO: I thought that they would be all normal but it seems like there’s something more to them.
RUKA: I don’t think you have the right to be saying that, Haru-kun~
GAKU: Well, ‘Warrior No. 1’ is exclusive to us so, putting that aside for now, TachiHana, TachiAyu, and Ayumin all seem to come from your name but—
GAKU: ‘Ayumin’ is kind of a cute nickname.
REIJI: Ah… (laughs)
AYUMU: Mr. Outrage here gave me that nickname.
AYUMU: He harassed me when I was feeling so nauseous from nervousness during filming one time…!
RUKA: He seems to remember it quite well~
REIJI: Ah… That was— (chuckles) Y’know? I was trying to calm your nerves!
GAKU: And so, you two became natural enemies.
HARUTO: My condolences!
SHO: Though, I can totally imagine it.
RUKA: Bullying is bad, Reiji-kun~
REIJI: It was in the past, okay?! It’s all in the past!
REIJI: Plus, I wasn’t planning on bullying him! Really, I’m telling the truth!
AYUMU: Well… if you told me that now… I might believe you.
HARUTO: You’re barely safe. Isn’t that great, Reiji-san?
REIJI: Shut it!
SHO: Back then it was difficult for the both of you but, ever since becoming a part of ROCK DOWN, your misunderstandings have all gone away~
SHO: (chuckles) Isn’t that great?
GAKU: Going off-topic, here are my nicknames. Ta-da.
(Gaku shows his sketchbook)
GAKU: “Gakkun, Daikoku, Gakunosuke, Kuro, Daigaku, Okan” That’s about it, I guess. (4)
RUKA: Oh~! I feel like I’ve seen most of those!
SHO: Out of all the nicknames where they’re all a variation of ‘Oguro Gaku’, “Okan” stands out the most.
GAKU: Right? Plus, I feel like I hear that all the time here and there.
GAKU: Am I really motherly?
AYUMU: I guess I can equate it to you being tolerant.
HARUTO: Though there are times when you really are like a mom.
GAKU: What’s with that~?
HARUTO: You don’t mind us being all wild outside and you always tell us, “Come on now, you boys, it’s time to go~” and stuff like that.
AYUMU: True.
GAKU: Your image of me is… quite something…
SHO: It means that you’re very reliable.
[17:22]
RUKA: Alright, I’m last~
RUKA: “Rukacchi, Ruu-Ruu, Nacchan, Nadumi Luke, Run-Run, Runba, Taruzumi, Borude no Mouchan, Nabebugyou, Kujaku, Sanba, Hikaru, Hakusai, Ruu-nyan, Ruu Nadumi, Shinkansen, Taraba, Imasokari, Mikhail, VazzRu, Ruemon, Pasta, Guinomi, Hachiko, Yoshitsune” were all I could write before time ran out~!
RUKA: I couldn’t write everything down and I think there are some I forgot.
REIJI: No… Isn’t that too much?
HARUTO: What an amazing amount of nicknames…!
HARUTO: Please share some with me!
AYUMU: I want one or two as well…
GAKU: That’s a new kind of joke… (chuckles nervously)
GAKU: Ruu loves nicknames, huh.
RUKA: Yup, yup~ Doesn’t a nickname convey a sense of familiarity so, isn’t it good~?
SHO: True. You do say so during events, too. “You can call me anything you like,” you said.
RUKA: Exactly! Calling me whatever is totally okay~
RUKA: Like, “A Ruka just for you~” or something.
RUKA: I seriously think that.
RUKA: I’m a stage actor after all. When I’m on stage, I live as many people and have lived many kinds of lives but, if I’m given a nickname for acting as that person, I feel like he really did live, you know?
RUKA: Kinda like a title, see~? I’m happy whenever they increase! I’m proud of it.
REIJI: The reason’s quite deeper than I thought it’d be. You’re kinda an unfair guy, huh.
REIJI: You took the most satisfying part.
HARUTO: Looks like his fighting spirit wasn’t to be taken lightly.
HARUTO: That way of thinking has been a good lesson for me.
AYUMU: Ruka’s amazing…
RUKA: (laughs) Thank you~
SHO: I’m so glad that we could talk a lot about your nicknames, Ruka.
SHO: It has been fun but we’ve run out of time.
RUKA: Thank you for sticking with us until the end, listeners~ Did this make you more interested in ROCK DOWN, I wonder~?
AYUMU: Did I… appeal well to you…?
HARUTO: Ayumu-san managed to show his soft side with his cool exterior so I think it went okay.
GAKU: Oh, that’s nice phrasing there, Haruto! It’s okay, Ayumu. I think it went well, too!
AYUMU: I see. I’m glad.
AYUMU: Radio is fun, huh? Since they can’t see us, we can relax and move ahead without being too nervous.
AYUMU: It might be fitting for me.
REIJI: Sho and Ruka’s great at making the conversation move, too.
HARUTO: True. Thank you, Sho. And Ruka-san, too.
SHO: Oh my, I got praised~ I’m thankful for the wonderful time, too.
RUKA: Please look forward to the next VazzRaji, too! But, we have to close this one properly first.
RUKA: We shall part for today in order to meet again~!
SHO: Let’s meet at the next VazzRaji, okay?
RUKA: Alright, then!
ROCK DOWN: Thank you very much!

Translator’s Notes:
(1) A traditional chabudai (tea table) typically looks like this:
Hence the characters’ reactions XD
(2) Amaha Reiji is written like this in kanji: [天羽 玲司]
His nicknames are:
Amahane: [天] can be read as [ten/ame/ama/amatsu] and [羽] can be read as [bane/hane/ha/wa/u] hence when you combine them, it can be read as“Amahane” instead of the usual “Amaha”.
Tenshi: [天] can be read as [ten] (as mentioned above) and [司] can be read as [tsukasa/tsukasadoru/shi] thus, “Tenshi”.
Amaji: [Amaha] + [Reiji] = Amaji
Autto: “outrage” in Japanese is written as [アウトレイジ/autoreiji] so, “autto”.
Tenbane: Going with the ‘other reading’ series like Reiji said, [天/ten] + [羽/bane] = “Tenbane”
(3) Nothing really needs to be explained since TachiAyu, Ayumin, and Warrior No. 1 are self-explanatory but, Tachihana might need some explaining ^^
Ayumu’s name in kanji is: [立花 歩] When together, [立花] is normally read as “Tachibana” but the [花] part can be read as [hana] as well hence, Tachihana.
(4) Oguro Gaku in kanji is: [大黒 岳]
His nicknames are:
Daikoku: [大] can be read as [oo/ookii/ooini/dai/tai] and [黒] can be read as [kuro/koku] hence “Daikoku”.
Daigaku: [大/dai] + [岳/gaku] = Daigaku
Okan: [御母] is simply another way to say ‘mother’ XD
