i've been working on color-themed icon sets for @/vargascamp and i thought you might enjoy these two from the red set uncropped

this was literally my reaction upon finding these in my inbox, i've not stopped staring at them for like five minutes ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! the quality is so CRISP and the coloring is absolutely GORGEOUS, they look so ethereal, lethal in their battle-ready prime, and absolutely resplendent in the brilliant shades of crimson piercing through the grayscale i'm genuinely obsessed

Howdy Vincent! Say may I ask what inspired to make icons of twst characters? Did you decide to do it out of nowhere? :3/pos /nm

i've mentioned here and there that i originally started making icons (among other things) in the mid-2010s, so this is by no means a new passion for me. it's always been a fun hobby, but i didn't have anything with enough readily available resources that i was invested in for a while, so when i got into twst, it felt like a natural step.

though i've been playing since the EN server opened, this current iteration of my icons and such didn't exist until much more recently. i've had a lot of issues over the years simply keeping a blog, unfortunately. tumblr has created most of these issues on its own—such as this being my third attempt since late last year. (vargascamp to roaringdrago to magicpaint)

and, well, i've always stockpiled blog assets given that i prefer to make my own, so in a way, this also doubles as storage and categorization.
