the kins that have hit me hardest were vanitas (vnc) and dr Stephen strange (marvel) - as a tldr, the way they view themselves, their perceived relationships with others, and push to become someone better than they are now because of their fp or s/o hit the closest to home for me. vanitas and I connect most on a mental scale, with his implied bpd symptoms being so similar to my own (though less internalized), and his growth past shutting himself away from others thus refusing to grow and change, to becoming a more open-minded person in the end really resonate with me - especially when other characters take notice of it, it sounds like theyre talking directly to me and complimenting me for my achievements. Though, Stephen's character growth got to me more on a personal level - the whole character arc with his s/o, being able to take a step back and admit his faults, striving to work on himself while still longing for part of the past reminded me of my own partner heavily, so seeing it portrayed through a 'past' version of me on screen really hits HARD. but MENTAL ILLNESS ASIDE, I see aspects of my own personality within them both, the unintentional 'aloofness' and compulsive need to crack jokes as an example.

I could go on and ON with her, but the real ones(tm) know zora (ee) related emotions have smacked me in the gut multiple times, and she's the one I project onto and shift the most often, hence her being my biggest selfhood! - ☀️
