*Kaleidoscope Cinema, Pictures Productions, and S. R. Enterprisers collaborates for SEVEN strong BIG Marathi movies*

The Marathi film industry has grown tremendously over the years with high-quality content, theme, storytelling, stellar talent, production, and presentation. The Marathi entertainment world has become more and more extensive and has also gained audience love & support over the years.

Two major production houses have come together to announce the seven-strong slate, its biggest to date in the Marathi film industry at a recent event in Mumbai, the renowned writer-producer Paritosh Painter’s Kaleidoscope Cinema & Picture Productions and Producer Rajesh Kumar Mohanty’s S. R Enterprisers, Co-Produced by Manoj Avana and Online Producers are Mangesh Jagtap and Sejal Painter.

The seven films will be directed by eminent directors from the Marathi industry and will also feature superstar actors from the Marathi film industry.

The seven films announced at the star-studded event were, *'Nirvadhi', ‘Sutka’, 'April Fool', 'Fakt Mahilansathi', 'Three Cheers', 'Ekda Yeun Tar Bagha' and 'Ti Me Navhech'.*

Mahesh Manjrekar will be directing 'Nirvadhi' which will star prominent actors like Subhodh Bhave, Upendra Limaye and Gauri Ingawale.

Sutaka will be directed by Prasad Oak and it will star Swwapnil Joshi, Prarthana Behere, and Omkar Raut in the lead roles.

April Fool is a thriller comedy film directed by Priyadarshan Jadhav, starring Siddharth Jadhav, Ankit Mohan, Rasika Sunil, and Rinku Rajguru in lead roles.

‘Fakt Mahilansathi’ will star Sai Tamhankar, Shivani Rangole, Vandana Gupte and Prasad Oak to be directed by Mrunal Kulkarni.

‘Three Cheers’ is written and directed by Paritosh Painter and will feature Siddharth Jadhav, Shweta Gulati, Jayesh Thakkar, Bharat Dabholkar, Tejaswini Lonari, Resham Tipnis, Vijay Patkar, and comedy king Johnny Lover.

'Ekhda Yeun Tar Bagha Return Janarach Nahi' is directed by Debutant Director Prasad Khandeker and will star Sayaji Shinde, Girish Kulkarni, Bhau Kadam, Tejaswini Pandit, Namrata Sambherao, Vanita Kharat, Rajesh Shirsatkar, Omkar Bhojane, Gaurav More and Pandharinath Kamble.

“Ti Me Navhech’ written by Paritosh Painter, will see a stellar cast of Shreyas Talpade and the gorgeous Urmila Matondkar who will be working together the first time. The film will also feature Ninad Kamat in a prominent role.

*Speaking on the occasion, Producer Paritosh Painter, Kaleidoscope Cinemas and Picture Productions,* said, “Marathi is my mother tongue and I have always enjoyed Marathi cinemas and wanted to be a part of this amazing industry, and I am extremely happy that this dream is coming true. *Producer Rajesh Kumar Mohanty, SR Enterprises*, said, “Marathi films are no longer restricted to a particular community but are loved by audiences across the globe. Content plays a key role in Marathi cinema and that's what I love most. We are extremely happy to come together with seven unique content-driven entertaining films in Marathi.”

*Speaking on the occasion, filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar* said, "The story of the movie ‘Nirvadhi’ was on my mind for a long time. It’s a beautiful love story and a very unusual ones. Subodh Bhave was my choice to be part of this film since the beginning. Subodh too liked the story and with filmmakers like Paritosh Painter and Rajesh Kumar Mohanty coming together, we are sure that this film will be great in all aspects.

*Director Prasad Oak* said, “As a director, I had dealt with historical films and period films. I really wanted to tell something unique and talk about the present scenario. I am very happy that I will be able to tell such a story through the film ‘Sutka’.

*Urmila Matondkar, who is making a comeback in Marathi after a long time*, expressed her feelings and said, “I loved the script that Paritosh narrated and it also stars amazing talent like Shreyas. So, when the team approached me I just couldn’t resist”.

Raaga Vrindaavani Saarang belongs to the Saarang group of Raagas of the Hindustani Classical Music System.  It is said to have been evolved by Swami Haridas – a great devotee of Shree Krishna and the Guru of the great Taansen and Baiju Baavaraa. It is believed that pleased with the rendering of this Raaga, Shree Krishna  appeared before Swami Haridas and stayed on as an idol which can still be seen in Mathura.

Raaga Vrindaavani Saarang (also called Brindaavani Saarang) is popular as a summer Raaga, generally associated with compositions predominant in devotion, romance and mysticism. It traditionally features in Gujarati and Rajasthani Folk music

This Gujarati Rhyme describes the moral of the story of The Liar Shepherd and Tiger, in which a mischievous shepherd boy used to shout for help, pretending that a tiger had attacked and the villagers used to run to help him. He would then laugh and say that he was merely joking. The villagers stopped believing him. One day, when in fact, a tiger attacks, his calls for help remain unanswered .... 

The first four lines of the song say that falsehood always harms, even when it is enacted as a game or joke. 

The second paragraph of four lines says, one who lies, even as a joke, gets trapped. Truth gets revealed and the liar has to repent. 

The last paragraphs says that one who acts thoughtlessly, later has to repent and such works may even cost one's life.

Raaga Durga is one of the oldest and basic Raagas of the Hindustani Classical Music System.  It is named after Maa Durga – the Goddess of Bravery and Compassion in Hiindu traditions.

It is believed to be a Raaga of “Dheer, Gambhir and Veer Rasa”, meaning that it is associated with moods that evoke serious, calm and serene disposition and arouse courage and bravery.

A Sargam Geeta is a rhythm-bound composition of musical notes, called Swars - in the Indian Classical Music traditions.

This composition is in the Taal Tritaal, which consists of 16 beats.

साक्षरता का मेरा पहला पाठ हिन्दी वर्णमाला का था । अनोखी बात यह है कि मेरी मातृभाषा गुजराती है, मेरी पढ़ाई अंग्रेज़ी माध्यम में हुई और मैंने सर्वप्रथम पढ़ना-लिखना हिन्दी में सीखा !!! 😊😊 - अ से अनार, आ से आम, इ से इमली, ई से ईख .... 😀😀

गुजरात से दूर, केन्द्रीय विद्यालय में अभ्यास के दौरान गुजराती पढ़ना-लिखना सीखने का मुझे अवसर नहीं मिला और न ही मुझे गुजराती का पाठ्यक्रमीय शिक्षण मिला । मैं छठी कक्षा में आई तब हिन्दी से गुजराती के साम्य को जान-समझकर हिन्दी के माध्यम से जब मैंने स्वयं ही गुजराती पढ़ना-लिखना सीख लिया, तब मुझे ख़ुशी के साथ-साथ यह एहसास हुआ कि मातृभाषा सीखना हमारे लिए स्वाभाविक रूप से सरल होता है ।

हिन्दी से मुझे विशेष लगाव रहा है । अच्छी, शुद्ध उच्चारण से सजी, शब्दों के मधुर प्रवाह सी हिन्दी बोली-बातें-वार्तालाप सुनकर बड़ी प्रसन्नता होती है । हिन्दी को भारत की एकता को सँजोए रखते हुए देखा है, महसूस किया है और इस अनुभव के कारण हिन्दी और अधिक प्यारी लगती है ।

हिन्दी दिवस / हिन्दी पखवाड़े की हार्दिक शुभकामनायें !!!
