They do get a happy ending! But :) Only in the True End! Which in the original game I remember being super hard to get djskbdks

NiGHTS!Smilk is able to leave the dream dimension and lives w/ modern au PV (Think the CROB timeline that Croissant grew up in, with the Happy Healthy Hamlet, the Sandwhich shop, and the weirdest stuff happening being Dr. Wasabi and Hero cookie fighting). It has a lot of shenanigans surrounding adapting to normal life- but it's Cookie Run, nobody's really batting an eyelash at guy who's blue and floats.

Unfortunately I can't say much more than that because nobody's guessed the twist yet and I really don't wanna spoil y'all!

❝ TᕼE ᗷEᖇᖇY ᑕᗩT ᔕET ❞ {set idea for ac:nh - a mix between my love of cat and strawberry }

I've been working for weeks on furniture sets/themes ideas for the new upcoming Animal Crossing game, just for fun and... for doing something while I’m waiting the game ^^ So, this is the first little set I’ve made : I firstly drew several cat and strawberry objects then I drew them on Illustrator /ᐠ｡ꞈ｡ᐟ\ It’s been a looooong time since I haven’t made “art” on illustrator just for fun, just for pleasure, so I’m really happy of the result and to finally showing to you this personnal artwork :3 I have a lot of other ideas (outdoor stuff, public projet, but I don’t know yet if I’m gonna make them with Illustrator too, I love to make stuff on it but it takes a lot of time. Also, I think more and more about selling some of my art on the web :3

Sebastian couldn't think. He didn't think anyone could when buried under a huge mound of blankets and pillows.

Well, like, he could think? If he tried? But he didn't want to. Everything was warm and soft and fuzzy around him, even the noise. Even the room. It wasn't an empty fuzziness, either! Not like the kind he usually felt, living all alone in the on-site dorms. This was a good fuzziness, like fairy lights and hugs, and given the chance he'd live like this forever.

From outside the pillow-blanket mound he heard a muffled murmur that had to be a voice. Sebastian's eyes sleepily blinked open, and he shoved a thick blanket away from him clumsily, making the words easier to hear.

"Sebastian? Did you fall asleep?"

"I think he did." There was a laugh he recognized as Berry's from outside. "Look at him. He's like a caterpillar in a cocoon. All rolled up and invisible. Let's drink his milkshakes while he's sleeping."

"You're an asshole, Berry," Eun said, and when Sebastian strained to listen he heard the faint clink of glass on a table. "Don't drink his milkshake. He needs it for when he comes out of there. He's butterfly soup right now. Let him reform into a solid being."

"He's what?"

"Butterfly soup. You know, the soup thing caterpillars melt into so they can become butterflies in the cocoon?" Sebastian paused, listening with something like vague horror. "I'm surprised you don't know. There was a psychological experiment carried out on them, to see if they were still the same being or a completely different thing. The butterfly shared fears the researchers created in the caterpillar, so we know they remember. They probably remember being soup, too."

"What?!"

"I wonder what it's like, being soup," Eun mused. "It'd be very liquid-y, I think."

Sebastian couldn't help but laugh. It would be wouldn't it? Maybe he'd be like jelly. Squishy, half-formed jelly Seb would be fun.

"Oh! You're awake." From outside, Eun laughed. She didn't sound surprised. "Come out, Sebastian. I made vanilla milkshakes. With extra cream, like all milkshakes should have."

"Oh!" Sebastian's head shot out of the mound. The air in Eun's apartment was warm, too, despite the snow falling lazily outside. It wasn't much of a change. "Gimme!"

Berry snickered, taking the single glass on the table. "I don't know. Maybe we should drink this ourselves..."

"Don't be a dick!" Eun flicked them on the forehead. Berry recoiled, setting the glass back on the table. "Hurry up and drink your milkshake before I stop Berry from taking it."

"Right!" Sebastian freed himself from the pillow pile-- it took longer than he'd like-- and rushed to the table his friends-- his something?-- were seated at. He plopped down into a free seat, taking the offered milkshake and gulping down as much as he could at once. "This is mine, Berry. No touching!"

"You can't tell me what to do," Berry laughed. "Give me a little. Eun made it, right? It'd be a shame not to share."

"... Fine." With an overdramatic groan, Sebastian handed it over. "But only because you asked nicely."

"Yes." Berry grinned, taking a large sip from the wooden straw. "Best son friend. Ten out of ten."

"You're welcome." Sebastian huffed, crossing his arms. "Honestly. Just 'cause you say I'm the son friend--"

... Wait.

"... I'm the what friend?"

"The son friend," Eun repeated. "Oh, uh- should we call you something else? Fluffy friend? Milkshake friend? Tall friend?"

"You're both pretty tall," Berry grumbled. "He's not the tall friend."

"Well, he could be the tall friend--"

As they devolved into a familar, playful argument, Sebastian sat, frozen. The son friend? What did that even mean? Was he like- like a son to them? Was that a joke he didn't get? What did that even mean?!

"Brother friend--"

"He's your brother friend, if anything! He's young enough to be your brother. No way would he be my brother, at his age--"

"-- no, brothers aren't friends. They're assholes. Soft friend?"

"-- What? Brothers aren't assholes--"

"Have you never met your brothers before?"

"Listen, my brothers are great!--"

"-- Yeah, because you're the youngest one. They're don't hate that they were expected to respect you."

"What the fuck does that mean?!"

"Um," Sebastian started, cutting their argument off immediately, "what did you mean by "son friend"?"

Eun and Berry fell silent.

"You-" Eun began. "Oh. Right. You don't know what that means."

"Right. Forgot." Berry groaned. "Um... family? Is that good?"

"I'd like family," Eun decided. "Let's go with family."

"What?"

"You're like family," Berry clarified, setting the milshake back in front of him. "You're the littlest one in the family. Despite how goddamn tall you are."

"The best kind of family." Eun nodded. "If you're alright with that?"

"I'm like family to you?" Sebastian's breath caught in his throat, his eyes filling with tears. "You really mean that?"

Eun and Berry's eyes widened in identical panic. "Sebastian? Sebastian, are you crying-?!"

Sebastian laughed, lunging forward and pulling them both into a tight hug. Eun yelped, barely able to keep the glass from falling off the table, and Berry immediately began protesting, but he didn't care. He sobbed-- laughed?-- into someone's shirt, filled with exhilaration.

"I- I've never had a family before," he stuttered out. "Not like this."

"Oh." Eun paused before reaching out awkwardly with one arm, returning the hug. "Is it nice?"

"It's... nice." Sebastian smiled. "I love it. Thank you."
