A few of my favorite things from the auction coming up at the Van Eaton Galleries. So many cool Disney pieces from Disneyland, Disneyworld and Epcot, among other fantastic items. I have to admit my heart belongs to Disneyland as I grew up going there. Pictured here are a pair of stretch paintings from the Haunted Mansion, an animated doll from It’s a Small World, two singing birds from the Tiki Room, the amazing drawing of the Fantasyland carousel from 1955 and the personal candlestick phone belonging to Walt Disney himself. Just imagine the conversations he had on that!!! If you can’t make it to view then at least check out the catalogue and enjoy. I was able to check out the #ThatsFromDisneyland Exhibit today! It was a beacon of Disneyland amazingness!! @lilyjcollins and I spent Sunday afternoon previewing the upcoming auction ‘That’s From Disneyland’ presented by the Van Eaton Galleries. Reliving and sharing my childhood memories of early Disneyland through to Lily’s own memories was quite the special treat!!! So many people came together to see it all and talk about their own experiences. There were quite a few families ranging in age. Everyone was in such a good mood. I believe that Disneyland really does bring out the best in people and brings them together. No wonder it is called “ The Happiest Place on Earth!!! If you are in LA or plan on being here up until August 24th you have to go see this amazing exhibit collected by one man and his obsession!!!It will definitely make you smile!!! #lilycollins #disneyland #vaneatongalleries #disneyaddict #disneyauctions
