Marriage of Victor and Daphne Vandergrift circa 1939
Some delayed wedding photos for Victor and Daphne Vandergrift. I loved Daphne’s bridal look so much I felt bad not posting anything with it
That and, if I’m being honest, I wanted to post something happy before WW2 happens...

Random Photos
Here are some photograph-styled screenshots I've taken during the most recent decade.
First is Helen Kenway, cousin of the Vandergrifts, posing at the dock of the island her family lives on. Second is a little sad, Ewan Vandergrift's illegitimate son, Jude, and newlywed wife, Amy, in front of their new home in Strangerville. Sadly, Jude wasvan drafted and died in WW2 shortly after this was taken.

The day before shipping out
Elliott cozies up to his girlfriend, Jeannette, before he ships out. Meanwhile Victor stays with the family while his half-brother, Jude, elopes before they're both called to serve.
Sadly only one of these men made it back home :(

Victor studies hard in Britechester, while Daphne takes care of baby Neil back home in Brindleton Bay.
Well, Daphne ended up getting pregnant RIGHT after the wedding. Wasn't the plan but at least she has the rest of the family to help her raise little Neil Vandergrift while Victor is at University.
Also love Lawrence just chilling on the couch, though I wish I'd thought to make him read a book or something lol.

Beachside Proposal
Have I mentioned how beautiful Brindleton Bay is?
First member of gen 03, Victor Vandergrift, proposed to his childhood sweetheart, Daphne Lasalle, during an early morning walk. I really liked the cold barren landscape contrasting with such a happy moment, and I’ve been meaning to take images on this beach.
I love Brindleton Bay during winter but thankfully this was the last day of it, just in time for a spring wedding.

Christmas 1931
Not my best pictures but it was nice having the whole family together for the holiday so I wanted to show something for it. If I was more patient I would’ve posed them for a group photo...maybe next time lol.

Visiting family
Mary took the time to visit her younger brother and his new daughter, Muriel. The main family house is full of teenage boys so it's nice that there’s at least one girl in gen 03.
