If I had to put Nancy Wheeler in a relationship (if she never got into another serious relationship again, that would be beyond okay too), it would have to be Chrissy. It would be a freshish start, away from Steve, who she hurt and away from Jonathan, whom she fell into bed with when she was still grieving for Barb. Away from Robin, who is platonic soulmates of the man that she hurt. Of course, they're all still friends, and they all got the closure they needed, but still, it's all too close. Of course, there is something poetic about Nancy saving Chrissy and the others when they thought they were dead. Years later, when Nancy's a reporter and comfortable in her job, she meets up with Chrissy, who is a Guidance Counselor. Chrissy, who's sweet and understands limitations, that limitations aren't a bad thing. She also understands Nancy's narcissism as well as her aromantism. Nancy understands that Chrissy still deals with an eating disorder, and of course, they still have their shared trauma. They never call them faults, though. They call them limitations because no one can do everything. Not everyone can be perfect. In their own way, they each deal with trying to let go of striving for perfectionism. When they're together, they're perfectly imperfect.
