Wanted to know your take on Valo women reacting to fem reader wearing their clothes! Can be nsfw or sfw! Whatever you’re more comfortable with, was hoping for skye, sage, and fade (anyone else if you’d like)! If that’s too many the first too would be appreciated!
✮ ┆ WEARING THEIR CLOTHES. skye, sage, fade, viper, deadlock
Tumblr media
based on the request above. CONTENT WARNING.           18+ only, minors dni. SUGGESTIVE/SFW CONTENT UNDER THE CUT; female-bodied reader, stealing clothes, suggestive touches/dialogues,  | ~1k words A/N.                   i don’t normally write for skye but writing this might have just made me put her up on the list guys, i love her <3 anyways, hope you guys liked it, and thank you for reading! apologize for the long wait...
Tumblr media
SKYE.
hiking with skye was always something to look forward to, even if one or both of you kept tripping over the fallen branches of the trees. you were waiting for kirra on top of a hill, sitting the the cool grass while keeping your bags safe, waiting for her to get back from whatever it was she wanted to check out at the end of the trail. you felt a shiver run through you, and remembered that you didn’t pack an extra sweater for yourself, you peeked into kirra’s bag to take the one she probably had. you just about pulled it over your figure when you heard skye’s bulky boots approaching. she gaped, her eyes widened and lips parted softly in surprise. “look at you all cozy.” she grinned eagerly, sitting down next to you and taking a good look at you in her sweater. “got a little chilly sitting and waiting, sorry.” you murmur as you lay your head on her shoulder, looping your arm with hers. kirra just chuckles contently, her free hand coming up to caress your cheek while placing a kiss on top of your head. “you look like eye candy, we must pick some more out for you back at base.”
Tumblr media
SAGE.
even the protocol had to have a bouge, fancy, get together sometimes to keep morale up and at least have the sense of a normal life. with some important papers to hand in tonight, you had to be late for the party and in the middle of all of it, you forgot to pick out what to wear. hoping that sage would have some idea what to put on you ran to her room, but there was no sign of her anywhere. looking down at your watch there wasn’t much else for you to do but grab one of her dress shirts and run to the event. sage only notices that you have taken her shirt when some of the other agents point it out. “you’re late, bao bei.” she hums behind her champagne glass, taking a sip out of it and you don’t miss the way her eyes give a quick look over you before she puts the glass down on the counter, her pearly whites visible even in the dim lights. “paperwork kept me busy.” you sigh, watching her glide along the counter, letting little distance between the two of you, and hiding her face in the crook of your neck. “looks like i will be some overtime on you.”
Tumblr media
FADE.
you knew that fade wasn’t too keen on sharing; she wouldn’t even let you take a sip from her morning coffee when you were too lazy to brew your own cup. which prompted her to when she went out to get a cup for herself, she also got one more for you. you just stepped out of the shower, stuck with the dirty shirt you brought with you or to take something from hazal’s wardrobe. you were gonna take your chances with her clothes and once you finally found a suitable shirt you got back into bed. a couple of seconds ago fade came back, a strange look on her face. “watcha looking at?” you ask, not realizing that her weird expression is all about the shirt- she moves one of her hands in front of her face, trying to hide her blush behind the mug. “doesn’t matter, not important.” she mumbles before climbing into bed next to you, offering you a mug which you gladly took. you feel her hand rest on your hip, fingers clutching the hem of the shirt before leaning to kiss your cheek. “you should keep it…” she hums, voice raspy, and you can feel the smile that pulls on her lips.
Tumblr media
VIPER.
at first, you were scared to take a piece of clothing from sabine’s closet, firstly because you weren’t sure if she’d be okay with it, and secondly because when you first opened her closet the way it was so neat and organized scared you. the moment when she spots you in one of her shirts or cardigans she can hardly fight the smile tugging on the corner of her lips as she walks up to your side. you’re ready for her to complain when you realize, stammering out excuses of why you were wearing what’s hers and you are surprised how she grabs you by the neck of the clothes and pulls you to be face to face with her. “sabine!” you yelp in surprise. “you look… good enough to eat, darling.” she murmurs, in that smooth voice of hers that has your heart to pick up an extra beat, pushing her chest closer to yours. you roll your eyes a little at her words though, your hands climbing onto her shoulder to get a little space but she doesn’t let go so easily. her lips are running along your jaw, down your neck, a single finger pulling on the neck of the shirt you stole from her, and her teeth sink into your skin. “what am i gonna do with you now, hm?”
Tumblr media
DEADLOCK.
that one green shirt that she always wore and loved so much, that was what you eyed yourself in the mirror. you couldn’t help but try it on, you were always curious what she liked so much about this shirt, why she had so many of it and you kind of understood- soft fabric, the nice stitching, and how the temperature felt just right around you. so lost in the technicalities of one shirt, you didn’t notice iselin stepping into the frame behind you. stammering something, you attempt to take the shirt off but the blonde stops you. “no, keep it on.” she hums, settling her around you, letting one finger trace under the fabric of the shirt, running along your tummy before she settles them on your hips, pulling you against herself. her lips brush against your ear, a featherlight kiss behind it before she talks again. “picks up your scent that way, i’d like that.”

。+❤ฺ·。❤ฺ·。+❤ฺ· +❤·。❤ฺ·。+❤ฺ·
Spring, present day.
ㅤㅤ
It took you a long while to decide on whether that was one of the worst or best months of your life.
On one hand, you came back with a quarter of the harvest you were supposed to get, and you had to wait for a while until your lemon trees would bear fruit once more. That, and working with only thirteen lemons turned out to be much more difficult than you thought when it comes to baking.
And on the other hand, it was fun attempting to come up with workarounds with Ying. That, and you woke up the next morning with a new sensation that wrapped around you like a clingy lover. And it wasn't anything like the miserable pessimism you hauled around, or like the apathy that…
No, no. It was apathy.
But a more positive kind of apathy. One that beckoned you to come to terms with many dilemmas in your mind. One of them being that winter was just... winter. A season. And like every other season, it had its ups and downs. It wasn't some omnipresent being out to get you, or whatever.
And quite frankly, this apathy was the best feeling you've ever had in a long... well, in your entire life. You woke up looking forward to the day, with a desire to actually get things going.
And that's exactly what you did.
You spent the past three months selling those plants back in your apartment at that nursery, you made friends with that lady who recommended you do such a thing, and now you were back at Yu’s house to check in on your growing orange trees. Heck, Yu’s neighbours even started greeting you whenever you came by.
They definitely saw you carrying the baskets of fruit and wanted some. Maybe you should use this wealthy neighbourhood to your advantage, you mused.
Ying called you earlier and mentioned discussing the state of her café with you since she had ‘more important matters to get to’. And you didn’t really mind, despite still being a mere barista, but she said she’d discuss the details by afternoon… But the location? Yeah, she promised she’d get back to you on that after she’d decided.
You moved down the short corridor, your eyes taking a moment to adjust to the strong rays that poured through the windows of the doors. The darkness around you did not help ease the pain of such a bright light. But even then, you wrapped your free hand around the handle and forced the door open, allowing the brightness to finally balance itself out.
You noticed something yellow out of the corner of your eye. And you would’ve dismissed it if you hadn’t turned to look at what it was. It was… inside the basket. There was one Meyer lemon, probably from that harvest months ago that the two of you missed. It kind of made sense that you’d forget it. You haven’t really visited this house after that day, not with the ongoing streak of snowstorms. And, you know, Ying’s persistence on keeping you safe.
Your thoughts were interrupted by the buzzing of a nearby mosquito. And immediately, you dropped the watering can and crushed the bug, instantly killing it. Now that you considered it, the one good thing about winter was the lack of annoying insects. That, and the fact it helped plants rejuvenate after a harvest, and that it kept earth’s temperature in check, and…
No, nevermind. You didn’t want to be warming up to winter. Pun intended.
You moved back towards your growing orange trees and observed their shape for a moment. And like the row of lemon trees right behind them, they looked as otherworldly as they were. The white flowers on it looked even prettier under the sunlight’s strong glare. Much prettier than in the winter, but they both had their charm. Super photogenic.
Just as you grabbed the watering can up from the ground, your phone vibrated with an embarrassingly loud ringtone, and you pulled it out of your pocket only to discover that Ying was calling. At the worst time as well, you thought as you answered and held up the device to your ear.
"Hi."
"Y/N, I've decided!"
Her voice took you by surprise more than the ensemble of loud chirping birds around you.
"Decided?"
"We're going to meet up on the bridge. Do you remember it?"
You kept the phone held up against your ear with your shoulder, grabbing one branch and gently pushing it aside so that the water from your can could reach every crevice of the tree.
"The bridge...?"
"Yes! I was told it looks ethereal in the spring, and it truly does! Ah, and it's closer to the train station than I thought. We can use it as a landmark for when we leave. What do you think?"
You continued watering in silence for a moment. It looks ethereal in the spring? Who the heck told her that?
Whatever, it wasn’t your job to question everything.
"That can work. When do I come by?"
"Actually, I'm already here."
You immediately stopped watering.
"Already? Ying, the least you could've done was give me a heads up."
“I’m sorry, but I have something scheduled for sundown! I’ll see you there, okay? I promise you, it’ll be worth it!”
She closed the call before you could retort.
She was probably going to promote you or straight up just hand you the café. What with how busy she was starting to get and how much she disappeared, it wouldn’t surprise you if it turned out to be actually that. You didn’t really mind taking control of the café, now that you thought about it… Oh, but the idea of dealing with your co-workers’ minute problems sounded like pure torture.
You sighed and continued watering your plants in silence, quickening your pace so that you’d be able to make it to her in time.
It took you a while, but eventually, you made it. And the only guidance you used was the pitter patter of the children’s feet as they ran around and cackled, alongside the melodic chirping of the birds. The bus left a trail of smoke as it sped off, but this one mild inconvenience was immediately drowned out by the sight before you.
Ying was right, the place looked like paradise on Earth now that it was spring.
The waters were crystal clear, the trees were full of life and the grass on the ground vibrated with an enigmatic amount of cheerfulness. Almost like they were harmoniously swaying to a tune you couldn’t hear. Had someone taken a picture of this place, you would’ve convinced yourself it was just editing and that there was no way Earth would look like this.
But it did, you mused as you approached the bridge.
It didn’t take long for you to arrive at a comfortable spot and rest your arms on the warm railing. Thankfully, despite your short height, the railings weren’t too tall and your loose clothes allowed you maximum flexibility to peer through to catch a glimpse of the waters. Short enough for you to be able to comfortably lean on it, but not so short children could fall down.
Your eyes were firmly fixated on the lake. And for the first time in so long, you felt... content.
You still didn't know what your goal in life was. You still didn't know why you should keep going, among many other questions like that. But all you knew was that the path your life headed in... Well, you didn’t want to change anything about it.
What would tomorrow look like? You pondered with a fond smile, holding up the Meyer lemon just above the lake and allowing the sun's light to shine in on it. And it beamed. It beamed with celestial beauty unfathomable to the human mind.
This was your harvest.
You put down the lemon with an even wider smile and stared at the lake instead, the fish that swam by. Tomorrow sounded amazing, now that you thought about it.
And you looked forward to it.
"Y/N?"
A soft voice promptly came up from behind you. You sighed and stuffed the lemon back into your pockets, before turning around to meet her gaze.
"What took you so long? I thought you were in a hurry–"
The moment you locked gazes with a familiar pair of lilac eyes, your breathing hitched, and time stood still.
It took a moment to comprehend that this person wasn’t Ying. It wasn’t Ying at all. It was… You felt your heart drop as you rapidly looked the figure up and down.
Broad shoulders, purple eyes, black hair, tall stature…
It was Yu. He stood only a few feet away from you; and he donned a meticulously designed hoodie with collars tall enough to conceal the lower portion of his face. One you had never seen before.
The words were lodged in your throat. Scratch that, no, your mind went completely blank, and the world felt like it started breaking apart.
“Yu…”
"Y/N, I..." He took a step forward, the floorboards audibly creaking under his weight. "I'm so sorry."
His voice had a sombre undertone. Slight and drowned out by the mirth that surrounded the both of you, but it was still telling. It was one that successfully let you know that he drowned in regret, all without saying a single word.
And yet, you still weren't sure how to feel about this. Sad? Happy? Furious? The second option was the most obvious one in your mind, but for the love of God, you just couldn’t form a single thought in your head. Heck, you couldn’t even comprehend the situation in general. All you knew was that Yu was here. And that was… No, wrong wasn’t the word.
His hand gently clasped your shoulder, and a familiar warmth landed alongside it.
"I'm sorry it took so long, but I- I was caught up in so many things, and it all just..."
He then pulled you into a hug. Your cheek slammed against his chest, the impact only cushioned by his thick hoodie.
"I missed you."
You didn't react.
For a few seconds, you stood there with a stiff posture as you stared into space, unsure whether you should return the hug or just stay silent and not do anything. This whole situation felt unreal. It felt like one of those hyper realistic dreams your brain would conjure up whenever it decided it wanted to escape your pitiful life, but that sprinkle of hope always scattered the moment you woke up. But it wasn't. In fact, he stood right there, the familiar scent of lemons taking over your nostrils on account of how close he was.
Yu was here… He was present. He came back.
Though you shut your eyes as hard as you could, tears still formed against your will, and they were quick to stream down your cheeks.
"Where..." you started, "Where were you...?"
You weakly pulled away, but Yu still kept you in his grip. And you immediately took this chance to observe him all over again despite your incredibly blurry vision. It was as if those years had never passed given his features. He still had that same enchanting face, and those pretty lilac eyes that always tore away at your stress with just one glance.
"After all this time..."
You held his cheek and caressed it. His pale skin yielded under your touch, and the palm of your hand outlined the sharp structure of his jaw. The softness of his skin, the flicker of vulnerability in his eyes juxtaposed to his stony expression… All of it was all so familiar.
"Why did you leave me, Yu?"
"I'm– I'm sorry, Y/N. It wasn't my choice. If I could take it all back, I would–"
"Why did you leave me?!"
You burst into tears and clutched his hoodie, burying your head in his chest.
"I thought you were dead! I– I thought that– I thought... I thought I lost you...!"
Out of pure instinct, Yu was quick to bring you closer and tightly hold you in his arms.
"I'm here, I'm here, okay? Nobody's dead."
"I thought you died, Yu! I thought you were dead, I– thought you were..."
Your sobs and nonsensical babbles continued. It was all the same repetitive questions about his well being, and more specifically, how you thought he was dead. Each sentence you managed to complete felt like another blade plunging his heart, only further drowning him in guilt.
And unfortunately for him, the only thing Yu knew to do in this situation was hold you and gently caress your back.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I– I should've explained it all from the beginning. But I... didn't want to lose you if I ever did."
He knew how stupidly soft you made him. How he'd stutter when speaking to you, and how wide his smile had gotten when you two first hugged, your arms squishing his thick white hoodie just to reach his form. The same hoodie he spent hours washing blood off of the night before.
Maybe he should've told you.
"I thought you were dead, I– I thought... that gun, you–"
Though you followed these loosely strung sentences with a curse, one specific word successfully pierced his bubble.
"Gun? What gun?"
This question seemed to bring you back as well. You pulled away, and just the sight of your red cheeks and shimmering eyes, aching with raw emotion, all of it was enough for him to understand how much this impacted you.
"I saw that gun. N– next to that medallion." You furrowed your brow, the sun sharply highlighting your tear-stricken face. "Is that it? Are you in a gang, Yu? Is that what you couldn't tell me?!"
"No! I– I wasn't in a gang, Y/N. It's..."
Yu's gaze fell. Unintentionally, he instead eyed your trembling hands.
He couldn’t hide this anymore, could he?
"I– I'm... Look, as unbelievable as this sounds, I– I was a… I was a hitman."
"...You were what? A hitman?!"
"Yeah. I… That’s the truth."
You narrowed your eyes. It really was unbelievable. How could someone like him be capable of killing someone? No, not someone, but people? And for a job?! You would’ve labelled him a liar if it weren’t for that blasted gun.
Then, a name popped up in your mind, one that seemed to support this idea.
"Iso...?"
He went blank for a moment.
"...That's, uh, no, that's a code name. I switched to a profession less... suffocating. That's what they call me now."
"Ying was in on this?"
Yu's face blanched. But quickly, he held your hand and firmly kept it in your grip.
"She was my only way of knowing you were alive! There wasn't any– Y/N, look, none of this should've happened, I know I should've been honest from the beginning, but I didn't want you to leave if I ever told you!” His eyes darted elsewhere. “Ying wasn’t happy when she found out, but I–"
"I’m not like her! I never would've gone anywhere! You could've been the devil and I still would've stayed because I wouldn’t have kept going if you weren’t there!” You furrowed your brow. ”But that's not the case anymore. I still love you, but I know what I deserve, Yu. I know I deserve a relationship that isn't... one-sided..."
You suddenly choked on your words. Yet, he was quick to respond when he could.
"But we can have that, Y/N! We can start anew, no more secrets. Nothing between us, okay? Nothing but the truth. Just, please..." he squeezed your trembling hand, "give me one more chance. I promise I'll make you the happiest woman on Earth."
Tears began to flow once more, tracing the same path as the ones that had dried out mere seconds ago.
For a moment, your eyes slammed shut, and you used this pause to both catch your breath and comprehend the situation. It was hard to make a decision. Sure, you were unbelievably mad at everything. At Ying, at Yu, at the world, and especially those people who held Yu hostage, if his words were to be believed.
But, Hitman…? It sounded so unbelievable. Yu was just way too kind and pacifistic to commit murder. It sounded impossible.
Almost mechanically, You rested your head on his chest, lying limp as he wrapped his arms around you. The lack of aversion on your side registered as permission for him to hold you. Not that he still didn't remain incredibly cautious.
"Happiest woman on Earth..."
You muttered ponderously to yourself. You were already happy. But you knew you’d be happier with him. Even after everything that happened, you missed having him by your side again. You missed his curious little questions about things you considered mundane, and that endearing look of realisation as you explained it to him…
Then, a smile lifted your lips.
"I missed you, Yu." You hugged him back. "From now on, you’ll be honest with me. About everything."
Being this close to him, you felt the jump in his palpitations as he registered these words.
"I will! I will. I promise."
You closed your eyes, allowing the familiar scent of lemons to enter your nostrils and put your mind at ease once more. The two of you stayed like this for a second. It felt like this embrace’s sole purpose was to make up for how much you two missed each other. Of course, he knew he would’ve lost a bit of his sanity had he not known about your whereabouts, but he also knew that saying that probably… Maybe it’s best to keep quiet. Thank God for Ying’s updates…
Then, his eyes shot open at the mention of the healer.
“Hey, let’s go home. I have so much to tell you.”
You pulled away and wiped your cheek once more, noticing the eagerness etched on his features. You nodded.
“I’d like that.”
With that, he held your hand and helped you stand up, and the two of you began walking away from the bridge. His thumb promptly began tracing the lines on your palm all on its own. And of course, you couldn’t help but wistfully smile at this familiar
Despite everything, you couldn’t truly hate this man, no matter how much you knew you had to. You just wanted to know how this gentle giant was supposedly a hitman.
You rested your head on his shoulder as you moved.

Stiff part two
Part 1 Part 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Content warning: NSFW these ladies are fucking, teasing.
If anything is written bad, no it isn’t pretend it’s so good.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
You raise your shirt and throw it to the ground. You don’t want to wait, she made you wait long enough for her. You want to taste her, you want to love her, you want to make her feel loved, you want to satisfy her. Before you went into kiss her again, she stopped you. Oh no, what if she didn’t want this. You stop and sit back up.
“What’s wrong?” You ask her.
“I’ve never done this before.” She mutters.
“With a girl?
“With anyone.” She admits. You glance at your shirt on the floor, if she didn’t want this, you would just take her out to dinner. You lift your body off of her to grab your shirt, but she grabs your hips and makes you sit back down. Once you’re seated on top of her she relaxes, not letting go of your hips.
“It’s okay, if you’re not ready we can grab dinner.” You say. You start to rise up again, but she pulls you down again.
“No, I want this, I need this. Please, we can do dinner after but I need you.” She whispers. You’ve never seen her like this, you’ve never seen her beg. You smile and brush the blond strands of hair out of her face. Her face was hot to the touch, you used the back of your hand to stroke her cheek.
“Well, lucky for you, I also want this.” You whisper, moving closer to her as you said it. Until your lips were touching. A few pecks turned into longer kisses, the longer kissed turned into a make out session. A sloppy rough make out session.
Deadlock threw off her shirt. You took off your pants. You decided to take the lead, since she has never done this before. You wouldn’t make her do anything she was uncomfortable with. For a moment you two forgot you had to be quiet. With the kisses becoming messy, your clothes coming off, and her desperately trying to unclip your bra, being quiet was the least of your worries. You wanted to move down after un clipping her bra. As you tried to move down, the woman pinned you on the wall and held up your face.
“Let me take charge for a while.“ she whispers your eyes widen with excitement. You wouldn’t have minded if you had to dominate her, but you liked them she took charge. It turned you on. She started kissing your body. From your neck, then your boobs, your stomach, then your thighs, you couldn’t help but whimper when she kissed you, you started to melt at her touch. She looked at you as she placed her mouth on you, looking for any sign of satisfaction. She got what she was looking for, it felt as if you were about to explode. You let out a soft moan when she hit your clit with her tongue. She lifted her head up
“I’m so glad you like this darling, you taste so good.” She whispered. You started to whimper when she touched your thighs, she was teasing you. At the worst time, got you hated it but the way she spoke to you made you forget about being upset. You needed her to play with you.
“Iselin.. please…” you whisper, you beg her to touch you, eat you out again, you beg her to cum. You were no longer whispering, you needed her. All she did was just smirk at you, she knew she was holding so much power. Before she could kiss your thighs, her phone lit up, signaling that she had a text. She tried to ignore it, but her phone was so bright.
“What could anyone want.” She grumbled before picking up her phone, turning it on to see the texts. After a moment, she turned a bright red.
“What’s wrong sweetheart?” You ask her.
“Darling, don’t moan to loud next time.” She said, you turned deep red. You couldn’t believe someone heard you moan and beg.
“Who was it?” You asked
“Skye.” She said. Hearing it was your mutual friend you took a sigh of relief, it was bad you were heard at all, but at least it wasn’t Phoenix or Sova
“Do you want to keep going?” She asked, you answer by moving your hips to her, ever so slightly. It was enough to get her attention.
“I want you.” You say to her. She smiles at you before finally finishing what she started. You’re knees started to feel weak, you wanted to collapse. So you leaned on the wall befphind you for support. She must have noticed, because she pushed your body against the wall. You couldn’t help but let out a moan, then more moans. She doesn’t stop, but starts to go faster.
“No, keep your pace if you want me to cum.” You instructed, she returns to the speed she was at before. “Good girl” you whisper while playing with her hair. After a little bit it of her listening you started to feel weak.
“Iselin, I’m about to cum.” You whisper between moans, she looks up at you as you finally release. She stands up to look you in my eye. You were panting and shaking. You wanted to go sit or at least fine something to lean on. You looked at Iselin, her hair was a mess, strands of blonde misplaced oh her head. She still looked perfect. She gave you a kiss, a soft kiss, her lips were soft. Once she pulled away, you hugged her. That’s all you wanted to do in this moment. Well you wanted two things, but the second was going to have to wait. She picked you up and carried you to her bed. She laid you down.
“You did so good.” She whispered, playing with your hair.
“You did all the work, for someone who has never done this, you did really, really good.” You say, grabbing her hand and placing it on your face.
“Can I return the favor to you?” You ask, you didn’t know how to ask her. It came out awkward. Your face went red.
“As much as I want you to be under me, you’re tired, and not horny anymore.” She says. You sat up and grabbed her hips.
“You don’t understand, I’ll do it for you, I always want you.” You say. While you were serious all she did was smile at you, then she let out a quiet laugh. God that smile, that smile that you would do anything for. You finally heard a bit of her laugh, it was music to your ears.
“How about, we grab dinner first. Then when we get back, we can go again.” She said. “But I’m first.” She teased.
“I’ll put you first whenever you want. I’ll do anything.” You whisper.
“You’re acting like a dog.”
“I’ll be yours. Let me be yours.” You plead. She smiled and nodded excitedly. You could feel your heart explode. You both crashed into each other. Your noses hit each other, you didn’t care about the pain, you’re taking her to dinner.

The air was sharp, sulfurous as it passed through your nose. You grimaced, detesting the foul scent. Black sludge sloshed under your feet, waving as if there was something swimming underneath it. You decided that thinking little of it would be better.
It was dark, you could hardly see. In the distance, in every direction there were bright white lightbulbs, the exact same as the one right over your head. They didn't radiate light, though. They shone as if their brightness was trapped inside confining glass walls.
You grabbed a bullet from the pistol hanging at your hip and tied it to the bulb above your head with a piece of string. Then, you walked forward, seeing how far you could go. Were there walls? Was it just an infinite void?
The sludge gave only slightly under your feet, whatever was under it was following with you. You neared one of the other lightbulbs, but it was no different. Tied to it, there was a bullet. A bullet from your pistol.
You sighed. You'd had this dream before. It had started a few nights ago, and the dream only got worse and worse. You had no hope in changing it.
Suddenly, the black sludge started to grow around you. You breath caught in your throat, eyes widening in terror as it rose above your head.
You tried to run, desperately trying to separate your feet from the darkness beneath them, all for naught. Dark tentacles rose from the sludge, wrapping themselves around your ankles.
Your heart dropped to your toes as you began to sink. You could no longer move, more tentacles creeping out and wrapping themselves around your entire body.
You sank deeper and deeper, eventually nearing your face. The lightbulb above you shattered, broken glass raining down onto your head as you squeezed your eyes shut.
Emerged in total darkness, you were eventually pulled completely under. The darkness forced its way into your mouth, tasting like sulfur and gas.
Your eyes couldn't close, and you could feel the substance forcing its way behind them. It went up your nose, travelled down your airways, filled your stomach. It flowed through your veins, forced its way into your flesh.
It was taking you over completely. You tried to draw your mirrors, you tried to conjugate something into existence to free yourself. It didn't work.
And finally, you relaxed. You let it take hold of you, and you realized that really, it wasn't so bad. It was so much better than the real world. There was nothing to hurt you there, it was so peaceful.
Suddenly, you awoke, tears dripping from your eyes and sweat gluing you to the sheets. You lifted your hands to your face, feeling yourself.
It was all a dream. That became your mantra. That 'dream', though, it took up your waking hours as well. You thought about it incessantly. What did it mean? It seemed so much better than this godawful world, filled with violence and hatred.
You slowly made your way out of bed. You wouldn't return. It was about four in the morning. No sane person should wake at such a time, but at this point you didn't know if you counted as 'sane'.
You shut the closet door, remembering the stories of monsters that your mother fed you as a child. You checked under your bed, seeing that nothing malicious hid under, ready to attack. Your dreams were peaceful, but you never knew what horrors may exist during your waking hours. You gulped your heart down, returning it to its place in your chest.
You sighed, making your way out the door of your room and to the kitchen. You filled the kettle and flicked the switch, turning it on. As it boiled, you poured instant coffee into one of the protocol mugs.
You jumped when you heard footsteps approaching the kitchen, looking through the doorway to see who it was. It was the one and only Fade, the seer of fears. You dreaded the words yet to come out of her mouth.
Your mouth dried as you returned to your cup of shitty coffee. You didn't greet her when she entered the kitchen, avoiding eye contact. Before, you'd be happy to see her, you'd greet her, perhaps to her dismay. You got along well with people, you liked to think. Well, you did. Not so much anymore.
"Hey." Fade greeted tiredly, looking at you expectantly, though your back remained to her.
"Hi." You
mumbled quietly, nearly inaudible. You stirred your coffee aggressively with a wooden stirrer, careful not to get any of the boiling water on your hands.
You didn't say anything else. You remained silent, as did Fade. Neither of you wanted to speak, though you reckoned it was for different reasons. The silence was suffocating, reminding you why you hated being awake so much. Maybe you should return to your bed, it would be so much more peaceful.
"It feels like you're leaving us." Fade said, finally. She broke the silence that was driving you insane. You didn't respond to her, didn't turn around and look back. You remained staring at your coffee, still stirring it aimlessly. You were sure it had dissolved, but stopping felt pointless.
"I've been in your dreams. They're trying to take you from us." She continued, voice swirling around your head. 'So what?' You thought to yourself. 'So what if they take me? They're so much better than this horrible place.' You hated that your thoughts had turned so malicious, but it was difficult to avoid. That dream which had continued through the nights was become your safe space, even if it wasn't fit to be such a thing.
"Please don't let them take you. I fear something is wrong. You talk so little now, it feels like you've disappeared. You're gone in your room all day, except for when you're sent on mission. You've nearly died because you haven't been paying attention."
Something in her words struck you. You didn't remember much from the missions you'd been on in the time since that dream had started plaguing you, but you remembered when one of the opponent's bullets had scraped the side of your face. Raze had shoved you out of the way just in time.
You felt bad. You were leaving them. They didn't deserve that.
"I'm sorry." You muttered quietly. You turned around, only to see Fade shaking her head as she stared at you.
"It is not your fault. I fear something is happening, and there is very little that I fear. I believe it is plaguing you as well. Both of us manipulate the human mind, and we are not so different. This vision of mine may be rubbing off on you, and for that, I apologize. You must stay awake, though. This will not pass easily."
With that, she left the kitchen. Her words left a shiver in your core. Finally, you realized. Your dream was not peace, it was violence incarnate. You were a single dead face amongst many, an entire ocean. Death may be peaceful, but it is not the answer.
"Thank you, Fade. My sense has returned to me now. We will overcome this." You whispered to your coffee. For some reason, and it may have just been your tired mind, you though you saw the shape of an eye in your coffee.
i hope you liked it!!! im so sorry it took so long i havent been super motivated to write recently :<

Gekko, being the soft gentle top he is, asking you repeatedly if you're okay as he's balls deep inside of your ass.
"¿Estás bien mi amor?" (Are you okay, my love?) He asks, as he's gripping onto your thighs fucking you.
You get tired from his blabbering, so you cover his mouth with your hand, however this turns him on more, causing him to pound you faster and he ends up finishing inside of you, in awe as he watches his seed leak out of your asshole.

Think you can keep up? Who am I kidding? You know you can't keep up.
Jettxfem!reader
(A/n): I keep getting one tapped by a jett on my comp game, so now I need to have sex with her. Also, please send requests :p
Tags : sesbian lex (yay), sub!jett, strap-on, established relationship, jett is riding the strap, reader teasing jett.
!!!NSFW UNDER THE CUT!!!
Tumblr media
You love seeing Jett like this.
Sure you love seeing her around others, her booming and cheerful personality is one of the reasons you fell for her in the first place.
Seeing her on the battlefield is no different, her fast and unpredictable movements and not letting the enemy even blink because of it, though with her skill she tends to get a little bit cocky, always saying some smart-ass comment to your team and your enemies, her taunting comments do get a little annoying to some people.
Not you though, never you. You just find others expression and reaction amusing, that’s just how you are, observing, your eyes always seeing through people with curiosity and wonder—
But right now? Your eyes are filled with amusement as you watch your girlfriend furrowed brows, her lips— puffy and red from your previous make out session falling into a cute pout, sweat dripping all over her face as she was riding on your strap like her life depends on it, it felt good but not good enough to give her the high and release she needed.
You said it once and you’re going to say it again, she looked so cute in baby blue, especially as her slick were coating your baby blue strap on and her holes sucking on it deliciously.
“Aw sweetness, you look so cute like this,” you chuckled, gosh the desperation in her face is just so adorable, you love it whenever she wanted to top you so bad but failed so pathetically.
“What’s wrong? Princess can’t keep up?” You smiled up at her face with a fake pout, “I thought you always tell people they can’t keep up with you.”
At your words she let out a whine a mix of pleasure and frustration as you used her own words against her.
Deciding to let your mouth do something else rather than teasing your girlfriend— your mouth attached onto her right tit, mouth immediately sucking as if it was a muscle memory to taste her like this, earning yet another moan from her lips.
“Fuck- baby just fuck me already,” she whine in a breathy tone, her trembling hands were on your shoulders, tightly squeezing it trying to ground her self and help with her grinding.
You detached your mouth from her tits, your hand grabbing a fist of her white hair making her head tilt up, “come on do better, use the magic word.”
“You’r ah- so mean,” she cried out, you only chuckled at this. “Come on, do you want it or not?”
“Please, please just fuck me already y/n,” she managed to say out loud with such desperation. You then lift her up easily and threw her on the bed, her back falling into the soft mattress of your shared bed.
Your mouth immediately devoured hers while your hands lining up the strap back on to her aching hole, while she tried to fight for dominance in the kiss— we all know where this lead, she can’t you take the lead and she pouts, and pout she did.
As much as you love that cute pout of her you’re about to wipe it off, pushing the tip of the strap painfully slow, in frustration her hands tried to move but immediately stopped by you pinning it on top of her head with your right hand “I’m about to fuck you and you can’t look grateful for it?” You tsk’ed at her.
Tears of frustration were starting to form on her eyes, you let out a fake frustrated sigh “I guess I’ll have to fuck some manners into you.”
You thrust inside of her— hard, once fully bottoming out you let it sit inside for a little while waiting for your girlfriend reaction.
You only chuckle at her desperate face, finally picking up the pace, hard but not rough, not slow but not too fast, just the right amount to hit that spot inside of her that make her feels so good.
Her moans became more erratic from your movement, with the hand that wasn’t pinning her hand together, you reached down and began rubbing circles on her sensitive bud.
“mhm, you like that baby?” In her blissful state she can only nod at you, but obviously you’re not satisfied, you began slowing down “come on use your words”
“‘S good, you make me feel so good,” she whined, her body arched, satisfied you keep up the same pace as before.
Jett can feel her orgasm close, you see that too— the way her legs shaking and the way her breath seems more out of control.
“I’m close,” she breathed out. “mhm, good girl,” you praised her for using her pretty mouth like this rather than using it to taunt other people, from your praise she can feel the knot in her stomach to grow tighter.
In a few more thrust she finally reached her high, her mouth hung open as you ride out her orgasm “such a good girl for me yea?” You finally let go of her hands and brushed the hair sticking on her face from the sweat.
You smiled down at her as her eyes met yours “but I’m not done yet,” you kissed her forehead before continuing with your words “can you keep up?”

Valorant| They accidentally hurt you|
____________________________________________________
I'm so obsessed with Valorant but it's literally such a random hyperfixation like ʘ‿ʘ
Characters included : Reyna, Sage, Viper, Fade
____________________________________________________
• Reyna •
Reyna is used to hurting people. She has to. It's a source of life. For both her and her sister.
That's why she doesn't feel guilty when she sees the purple light of one's soul slithering up her arm and the life fading from their eyes.
She's never hurt you, she never would. Still she fears the day her wrath and her bloodlust would get to you. That despite everything her true nature would shine through and the empress would feed from your corpse.
And the day she feared had finally come.
It was supposed to be a simple mission, but it's never simple with the protocol, is it?
You were supposed to defuse the spike and all was well after you took out enemy Killjoy. Or so you thought.
Enemy Omen was creeping up on you from the side. As he was ready to strike, Reyna appeared across from him.
The scene in front of her paired with the intense "conversation" she had with enemy Viper about Lucia made her see red. She unleashed such a powerful attack it almost knocked her off her feet.
Omega Omen was most definitely dead but you were also on the ground, clutching your side.
Reyna though the bastard had managed to shoot you before he died but as she got closer it was very obvious who had done this to you.
You were saying something in the comms, probably declaring that the mission was over and calling Skye for healing, but Reyna couldn't hear you. The ringing in her ears was far too loud.
You tilted your head up catching her eyes. You were shocked to see the emotions swirling in them.
"Zyanya? Are you ok? Are you hurt too?"
That's when she snapped from her haze and dropped to her knees next to you. She was fussing over you wound, which wasn't even that serious, mumbling something in Spanish over and over again.
" Lo siento "
I'm sorry...
Then you finally understood. Reyna had fears of hurting you and she has told you so herself. Now they've come true even if the injury is minor.
You brought her hands up to cup her face and kissed her. A short but loving kiss to get her attention.
"It's fine my love. You didn't mean to hurt me I know that. You feel bad and bad people never show remorse for those they've hurt."
• Sage •
Sage, poor gentle Sage, is the protocol's healer.
She's not supposed to hurt you. Her only job is to help the agents and make sure they return in one piece.
So I'm sure you can imagine her panic when everything occurred.
Sage is a bastion and an experienced soldier panic is not something she does. It's usually the younger agents who act recklessly and she the one that scolds them. But at the moment her mind was running a thousand miles per second.
You were good at sneaking around, that was one of your greatest gifts. Right now though it was more of a disadvantage. Sage was just trying to protect herself by walling off the hallway behind her. She was sure the enemies were going to come from behind as well and as far as she knew there was no ally around to help her. In these situations it's best to wall herself off and wait for reinforcements.
Sage has complained multiple times about not being just a healer. In the end though there was one truth. If the VP loses Sage it's all over. There's no one else that can bring people back from the dead after all.
The only problem with her plan is that you were right behind her all this time.
So when she rounded the corner and walled that part of she barely heard the sound of your surprised grunt before the walls came up to the ceiling.
You weren't really hurt by the wall, just a bit dizzy, what really hurt you was enemy Phoenix and his fireballs. He cought you by surprise and managed to land a hit on you before you took him down.
By the time Sage brought down a part of her wall to get to you, you were already lying down and supporting yourself to the wall clearly not strong enough to stand.
Sage was too panicked to think of anything as she threw her gun to the side and fell to her knees beside you. Her eyes were burning with tears and her lips were shaking. She knows your injuries aren't grave. She can revive people for god's sake, this is nothing for her.
So why does it hurt so much? Why does she feel like her soul is being ripped out as she watches the burns on your skin heal.
You know how kind hearted your girlfriend is. And even though she knows you're a strong woman who's more than capable of predicting herself, she can't help but be protective of you.
After she's done healing you she keeps her gaze to the ground and her hands tightly griping the fabric on her thighs.
You can't handle seeing your girlfriend like this so you bring your hands around her in a bone crushing hug. Sage is surprised at first and who can hear a faint gasp before she returns the embrace.
As she burries her head on your shoulder you feel tears wet your shirt but you keep quiet. You'll always be here to hold her through moments like this and remind her that she can accept help as well as give it.
• Viper •
Viper is one of the highest ranking people on the protocol and prides herself in being hard working and cold hearted.
She doesn't pay mind to the nasty glares she receives by some agents. Most days she spents in her lab creating new toxins and poisons.
She never would've thought these chemicals she loved so much would end up hurting possibly the only person she truly cares about.
This mission was no different from the others. Omega earth was trying to reck havoc again and the protocol was ready to stop them. Viper was leading this mission.
With both her and Sage on the team you felt safe and perhaps that's why you got so reckless.
You know you're bound to hear a lecture from your girlfriend about being careful on the battlefield but the rush of the fight had gotten to you.
You rushed right into enemy territory and upon locking eyes with omega earth's Reyna you suddenly felt all that rush sleeping away. You were strong but you couldn't take on the empress.
Panic set in as you fleed as fast and as far as possible, only stopping when you could feel your lungs burning from exertion. Or so you thought.
When you opened your eyes all you could see was green. Admist your panic you ran straight into Viper's pit. Great.
You could barely see the crates in front of you as you stumbled and wobbled across the battlefield. You wanted to shout for Sabine but you knew that opening your mouth to speak would only allow more of the deadly gas into your system. You could only hope you wouldn't run into more enemies.
Thankfully before you blacked out completely Sage was able to find you and grace you with her healing powers.
Soon Sova and Yoru were heard in the comms signaling the spike disarmed and the mission successful. In a few minutes everyone was aboard the Vulture and ready to fly home.
You noticed that Viper hadn't talked to you at all during the flight and you found it weird. Viper isn't the most chaty person but usually she checks up on you after missions.
You soon find her sitting alone, her leg bouncing up and down rapidly. When she notices you she looks up and-
Is that guilt in her eyes?
She closes her eyes not bearing to look at you.
Sage had told her about what happened. She had hurt you.
You know that words were useless so instead you hoped that your presence would be enough to calm her down and reassure her.
• Fade •
The Turkish nightmare of a woman was not particularly well liked when she first joined the VP.
You were one of the only agents who were not set on avoiding her. She appreciated the fact that you showed her empathy and decency despite what she's done.
Fade had already hurt you by releasing that dossier but after your relationship started she swore that was the one and only time she would hurt you.
Apparently that was a promise she couldn't keep.
Many times things don't go according to plan during missions. When that happens everything is frantic.
There are shots fired from everywhere, bullets raining on the battlefield, along with bombs and turrets. You can see Jett's wind dome and Skye's bird. They're setting up an ambush.
You are so overwhelmed you don't even have the right mind to call for your teammates but you're sure they wouldn't have answered anyway.
You don't know if they have planted the spike already. Maybe they dropped it or maybe they still have it on them. You can't act properly if you don't know the situation.
Before you could even think about anything else you saw a shadow monster charging towards you and then everything went quiet.
All you could see was black before you opened your eyes to face your darkest fear.
With everything happening all at once it was pretty hard for Fade to see where she was aiming. When she felt that the prowler had locked it's target she walked closer only to see her own nightmare come alive.
The black tendrils coming out of your mouth made her gasp.
She hit you. She had never ment to hit you.
She quickly went over to you but hesitated as she watched you struggle against the nightmare she unleashed upon you.
There were tears in your eyes as well as Fade's. Breach was shouting something in her ear but all she could think about was you.
"Y/N is down. I... She needs healing... Uh."
Fade felt like she couldn't breathe, but she would stay strong. Because she needs to see you open your eyes. She needs to know that you're okay.
A few moments later you open your eyes gasping for air. Skye is beside you in an instant, offering her help. Your eyes are moving around desperate to find your lover. You know how Fade is. You're certain the thoughts in her head aren't pretty right now.
You soon find her sitting down against the wall with her knees hugged to her chest and her eyes shut tight. It pains you to see her like this.
You thank Skye as you move to get up. Fade already knows you're awake. She heard your gasps. She's not sure if her presence is wanted right now. She feels like such a hypocrite. After promising that she'd never do something to hurt you again, there she goes. Ruining everything again.
She prepares herself for whatever is to come when she feels you sitting down beside her. She is very surprised when she feels your hand gently stroking her cheek. Mismatched eyes open to look at your own. She finds you smiling.
"You didn't mean it Hazal. I know it. Plus I'm fine! Yeah it did shake me up a little but so do horror movies, so there's no need to feel guilty. I love you, I always will, don't you forget that. "

"Tell Me" Part 3
Gekko x (Fem!)Reader
Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi everyone! This is the third part of my first Gekko fanfic and my first fanfic posted on tumblr. I just posted part 2 at the same time, so I'm excited and nervous to see what y'all think so far. I really enjoyed writing these. Like last parts, I used google translate for most of the Spanish that wasn’t just a few words so I apologize if anything gets lost in translation, I am not fluent. Words: 8.0K
TW: Character Death, Guns, angst, (kinda?) manipulation, Kidnapping, Blood
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mateo sat on a bar stool in the kitchen, eating a bowl of cereal while resting his head on his hand. He was exhausted. Not being able to fall back asleep, he sent you an early good morning text,  and then headed right into the training arena. Spending a few hours practicing his aim on the training bots until he couldn’t see straight anymore. After a quick shower to wake him up, he headed to the kitchen for breakfast. It was now nearly 9 AM. A few agents have come and gone while he has been in the kitchen. Sage, who is usually an early riser, entered the training arena as he was leaving, giving the young agent a nod of approval for getting some early morning training in. Mateo had tried to keep his worry and anxiety off of his face, he didn’t want to give anyone a reason to pull him off of the mission. Passing Omen and Fade in the hallway he gave a quick hello to the two. Yoru had come into the kitchen to grab breakfast as well. Mateo gave the dimension walker a nod and the older man exchanged the pleasantry before leaving.
Mateo looked up from his cereal that he was more so playing with instead of eating as Neon made her presence known, “There you are, Mateo!” She said as she made her way further into the kitchen and started to prepare her own breakfast. He looked around, making sure that no one was near to be able to hear his real name, “Lo lamento, you were looking for me?” He questioned.
“Yeah, I heard you yell last night. I went to make sure you were alright, but you weren’t in your room.” She said, grabbing her food and sitting down next to him. “Reyna said she hadn’t seen you yet, either.”
Mateo’s face flashed red with embarrassment. Neon had heard him yell out after his nightmare. He guessed it would make sense that she would be the one to hear it as their rooms shared a wall, but he wondered how loud he truly was and hoped no one else had heard anything. “Wait, what did you tell Reyna?” He said with urgency. If Reyna knew something was bothering him, she might tell Sage or Brimstone to pull him off the mission.
Neon raised a brow, confused by his sudden worry. “I just let her know I was looking for you and was going to check up on you?”
“Maldita sea” He whispered, resting his head in his hands.
“What dude? You’re being weird. What's going on with you?” Neon said, taking a bite.
“Nothings wrong. I had a nightmare last night. Eso es todo. I can still go on the mission, everything's FINE. Bien.”
Neon swallowed, smirking, “ahhh, okay. So that’s what this is. You’re psyching yourself out!”
“Que!? No- I’m not- uh” Mateo sighed, shaking his head, “I had a nightmare about (y/n). I died on the mission and she found out that everything since I’ve been here has been lies.”
Neon furrowed her brow, “You know Sage can bring us back? You don’t have to worry about that.”
“I know, but what if she can’t.”
“Well…” Neon started, “That hasn’t happened yet. But, I bet Brimstone will handle it, and give your family something? I’m not sure.”
Mateo shook his head, “That’s the thing. Nothing Brimstone can give (y/n) will undo any of the hurt I caused. She won’t see me as a hero once she finds out the lies it cost.”
The two of them sat in silence for a minute before Mateo spoke up again, “I’ve been thinking, and I think I’m going to tell her. About us and what I’m doing.”
Neon choked on her food, “You’re going to what!? Mateo you know you can’t.”
“She won’t tell anyone, I trust (y/n).”
“You don’t understand, Mateo. Of course our Omega counterparts know who our loved ones are. There aren’t many discrepancies between who we know and are related to. And the only thing keeping them safe is their ignorance. My parents only know where I am, and even that information could put them in danger.”
Mateo bit the inside of his cheek as he thought he was at a crossroads here. He couldn’t put you in danger. But, like Neon’s parents, his mom knows. Reyna told her months before he joined the Protocol and she’s been safe. There must be exceptions. “I won’t put her in danger, but I need to do something about this.” Mateo said, standing up. “Don’t tell Reyna or anyone until I figure it out, por favor.”
Neon looked up as Mateo stood, holding a steady gaze, “I won’t tell anyone, but I sure hope you know what you’re doing.” She said.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a relatively uneventful week for you. Right now you are in the middle of mundane chores. You had just gotten home from grocery shopping for your dad and had begun to put the goods away. The only thing that made today different from the others was, to your surprise, Mateo texting you good morning around 5 AM. You were curious why he was up so early and he told you he just wanted to get an early start to his day and get into a better routine. Something you had wanted to do before but always gave up a few days in. Walking up anywhere between 8AM-10AM is usually how it went for you depending on your classes. You noticed Mateo seemed to have more time on his hands today with random “I miss you”s, “Te amo”s, and check-ins coming in more frequently than they had before. Your heart fluttered as you wondered if he was finally finalizing his schedule and not letting the college have such a strong pull on him.
You had decided a few days ago that you wanted to try and surprise Mateo for a visit in the upcoming weekend. Since he left you had been putting away extra money from each of your paychecks in order to purchase a train ride up north. The only problem was, you couldn’t remember the name of the city that Mateo is in. Whenever you looked up the college you saw that it had campuses in both Seattle and Portland. And whenever you tried to ask him to remind you, he either wouldn’t hear you or had something else on his mind he wanted to talk about.
After you finished putting the groceries away you leaned on the counter, grabbing your phone you dialed Mateo’s mother, waiting for her to answer as it rang.
Two rings in you heard and enthusiastic voice on the other line, “(y/n!) Que bueno saber de ti! How are you cariño?”
“Hola, Mrs. De La Fuente. Es bien, and you?” You asked.
“Oh cariño. I am doing really well. It was hard to adjust with how quiet the house has been. Don’t tell Mateo but I’m thinking of getting a cat” Mateo’s mom laughed.
You smiled, you had missed Mateo’s mom and were disappointed in yourself for not calling her sooner, “I’m sure he wouldn’t stop you.” you giggled.
“No, that’s the problema! He would bring an amigo home for it! But, una is enough for me, confía en mí” The woman laughed and then let out a small sigh. You could tell she missed her son as much, if not more than you did. “De todos modos, (y/n). Did you need something?”
“Si, Mrs. De La Fuente. I was wondering what city Mateo was in. I can’t remember if it was Portland or Seattle?” You asked.
Mateo’s mom paused, “...oh, why’s that, cariño?”
You hesitated, confused by her sudden hesitation and change in tone, “well, I um- I’ve been saving up a lot of money. And I finally have enough money to buy a train ticket and surprise him.”
Again there was a pause, “Miel, I don’t think that’s es buena idea.” She said.
A pit opened up in your stomach, “I’m sorry, Mrs. De La Fuente, but why?”
“Mateo is mucho busy, (y/n). I just think you should wait.”
You frowned, “But it would be on the weekend? I only would have gone up there for a day.” You heard his mom inhale, another pause stagnant in the air before she spoke again, “I just… think it’s for the best, miel.” Before you could question her again she spoke up again “Oh, (y/n)! The oven is going off, that is mi Bizcocho. Tengo que ir! We can talk about this more later. Mantente segura!”
The line clicked as she hung up, the pit in your stomach resting heavy as your thoughts added onto it. The tone change in Mateo’s mom’s words sounded like worry, almost like his mom was covering for him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There were less than 15 hours until the mission on Haven and Mateo was back to back with Phoenix as the two of them engaged in aim training at the training arena. So far they had been doing well, if they continued like this the duo might make it to one of the top spots on the leaderboard.
“Watch your eyes!” Phoenix called out for a flash, as Mateo sent out Wingman to stun a few of the bots that were surrounding them.
“So.” Phoenix started as he took out two bots, “I heard you’re having girl trouble, aye?”
Mateo tensed up, switching places with the man and firing his gun at the robots, “Qué!? Who told you that?”
Phoenix chuckled, rolling as he dodged some of the bullets, “So it’s true!” he bantered.
“No es verdad! It’s false!” Mateo said, pressing up against a wall as a few bullets went buzzing by his shoulder.
“Well, Jett told me that Yoru was givin you a tough time.” Phoenix responded, smirking as he occasionally took his eyes off the robots to see Mateo’s flustered expression.
Mateo sighed slightly, he was nervous Neon had said something to someone. But,  if this was just about his encounter with Yoru then it didn’t bother him too much. “Yeah, that happened.” He said, leaving his place on the wall and taking out another bot.
“Well, don’t let him get to you mate. We’ve all been there with our relationship struggles. Oy behind you!” Phoenix said, taking out a bot that was running up to Mateo from behind.
“Thanks”, Mateo said with a small nod and smile to both the words of encouragement and for having his back during their training. Although Phoenix’s words weren’t exactly what he needed as a pick-me-up, he was still grateful for the effort put in.. Phoenix returned Mateo’s nod, “Ready to finish this?” He asked.
Smirking, Mateo responded, “Sí, amigo. You know it.”
“Alright let's go!” Phoenix said, his skin glowing a faint orange as he mowed through the rest of the bots with Mateo, thrash stunning a cluster for phoenix to take out. When no other bots came to confront the two, they gave each other a fist bump. “Now that has to be a top score, for sure!” Phoenix enthused.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After the aim training Mateo had taken an early dinner and gone to his room to chill for the night. He had already received a message from Jamie strategizing how they could achieve an even higher score next time. He had also received what he assumed was a sarcastic or playful message from Jett asking why he stole her aim training partner from her. Changing into some comfortable clothes, he laid down on his bed and gave you a call. Wingman snuggled up to his arm and Mateo moved a bit to get Wingman out of the frame of the video, causing the creature to mumble. “I’m sorry buddy. Not yet okay. Very soon she will meet you. Prometo. For now, if you stay down by my arm, you can sit in and listen in. Como es que, amigo?” Wingman purred and Mateo chuckled, “Alright just remember to be quiet.” Dizzy, Thrash, and Mosh also made their appearance, giving Mateo a curious look. “Alright, you three as well. But the same thing I told Wingman. Estar muy tranquila. Okay?” Dizzy and Thrash nodded. Thrash took up a spot near the end of the bed at Mateo’s feet, Dizzy laid on Mateo’s stomach, and Mosh cuddled up next to Wingman.
You answered the call to Mateo smiling and laughing, “Hola, Mi Teo. What’s got you in a good mood?” You returned his contagious smile.
“Well, the fact that I’m talking to mi amor might have something to do with it.” He smirked.
The two of you chatted for nearly an hour uninterrupted and you both  savored that time that you had together. The longest your last video call was so far had been about 30 minutes max before Mateo got pulled away by something else. You laughed with each other when you caught him up to speed on the shenanigans your friend group was up to together. He asked about your father and your sister. You told him you were thinking of cutting your hair and he playfully begged you not to, but promised that you would look beautiful with any hairstyle you chose. He said you could even shave your head and you would be the most beautiful girl in the world to him. You laughed and told him to be careful what he says or you just might go ahead and do it, but he knew you would never. He knew how much fun you had styling your hair in different ways, it was something you had used often to express yourself.
“I wish I was there with you” Mateo said, he noticed the locket he gave you before he left around your neck, he was hanging next to your heart, but he wanted to wrap you up in his arms. A month away had felt like an eternity.
“I wish you were too.” You said, sharing his look of longing.
“Well, I find out when I’m able to leave soon. But before then I can send you a care package. I can put one of my shirts in it and some snacks from the area.” He grinned.
You smiled, “I’d like that.” Your words drew off slightly at the end of the sentence, as you thought back to your conversation with his mom. Hesitating, you wondered if you should tell Mateo, ask why she was being so weird about you wanting to visit.
Mateo noticed your hesitation and raised a brow, “what’s wrong, mi amor?”
“Well….” You started but bit your tongue. “So I saved up money from my recent paychecks and I figured with that money I would buy a train ticket to see you. Like a surprise. But then I couldn’t remember what city you said you were in or if you ever said the city you were in. So I called your mom and asked her. I told her my plan but she didn’t think it was a good idea and she also wouldn’t tell me the city and she also wouldn’t tell me why.” Catching your breath after your ramble you waited for him to answer, your cheeks flushed red. He stared at the phone, his mouth opening like he was going to say something, but then closing. “I just felt like she was hiding something from me?” You added on.
Mateo frowned, his gaze faltering before looking back at the screen, “(y/n), I have to tell you something.” He said, in a tone you had never heard before.
Your anxiety spiked, “oh okay… you’re making me a bit nervous. What is it?” You asked.
“So I’m not in Seattle… or Portland. I’m-“ the phone went black. Mateo grumbled, pressing the power button but to no avail. “Merida! Stupid phone” he cursed. Suddenly it powered back on, the screen flashing with a familiar symbol. Mateo narrowed his eyes. He went to your contact and tried to call you back, but an error flashed up on the screen once more with that familiar symbol. He tried to text you but was met with the same fate.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Cypher!!!” Mateo yelled as he ran down the halls. He made it to the computer room where he knew Cypher was most likely to be. He flung the door open and found the room empty. He cursed again, leaving the room and heading down the hallway.
“CYPHER!” He called again, he passed by Neon who looked like she was on her way to her room.
“Woah, Gekko. What’s going on, are you alright?” She asked.
“Not right now, Tala. I’m looking for Cypher.” He said, keeping his steady pace.
Neon followed behind him, “He’s with Reyna in the strategy room. But-“ he cut her off, “Thanks.”
“But Gekko-“ Neon tried to get his attention but he was focused on one thing.
Mateo flung open the door to the Strategy Room, seeing Cypher, Reyna, Sage, and Brimstone huddled over a holographic map of LA. Reyna’s eyes darted over to the two. “Neon! Gekko is not supposed to be in here right now” She said.
“I tried damn it!” Neon said, raising her hands up.
“I don’t care about whatever secret classified mission this is!” Gekko said, anger in his words. “I just want to know why, he child-locked my device!?” He said, pointing to Cypher.
“Cariño, cálmate.” Reyna said
“I activated the fail safe, because you were close to revealing yourself.” Cypher added in.
“What!? You were listening in on me!? Spying on me!? Esto es ridículo. ¡Esa fue una conversación privada!” Mateo exclaimed, Wingman and Dizzy appeared from his bag after Mateo's noticeable rising anger. “How would you even know to listen in?” He asked.
Cypher remained quiet, sharing a glance between the 3 older agents in the room.
Mateo turned around towards Neon, “ You told them! Didn’t you?” He accused.
Neon crossed her arms, “what!? No I didn’t.” She huffed
“Fui yo, cariño. It was me” Reyna spoke up.
An expression of hurt and betrayal flashed across Mateo’s face, as Wingman and Dizzy made a sound, similar to a faint cry but almost as if they were asking Reyna why.
“Que? Por que Reyna. Why would you have Cypher spy on me?” He asked.
Sage made her way closer to Mateo, “Reyna came to us a few days ago. We agreed that you are being pulled in two different directions. You need to have your whole mind and spirit here, Gekko. With your heart split, you can make dangerous decisions. Brimstone and I tasked Cypher on making sure you were making the right decisions. And Cypher is the one who heard you tell Neon your plan in the kitchen this morning.”
Mateo took a step back in anger as he cursed to himself. Placing a hand over his face, he shook his head. How stupid was he for thinking that Brimstone and Sage didn’t have eyes everywhere around the protocol, watching them at all times. Or that Cypher, the man who can scrub clean any mention of them from the internet within milliseconds wouldn’t be able to listen in on his private phone calls. Wingman walked up to Mateo, placing his hands on the man’s leg in an attempt to comfort.
“Gekko, we’re here to help you if you need it. I know some things are hard to understand why we do it. But it is for the best.” Sage added.
Mateo stood idle for a second, his eyes darting from person to person in the room. His mind was clouded with hurt, anger, and frustration. The silence lingered, no one having anything else to say. Mateo picked up Wingman and turned around towards the door, pausing in the doorway before speaking to those behind him, “You know, Reyna. You could have come to me first. Actually talked to me. Nunca pensé que irías a mis espaldas. Especially you of all people.” He said as he saw his way out.
The remaining agents exchanged a few glances as the tension Mateo left still hung in the air. Reyna sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. “He will be okay,” she said to the group, while also reassuring herself. She was disheartened about breaking Mateo’s trust, but there were more important things at hand and she knew this was for the best, “We need to get back to our findings”.
“Yes.” Sage said, looking at the holographic map of LA that was laid out before them. “Your recon mission with Neon and Yoru revealed a big deposit of Radianite under the city, here.” She said pointing to the map.
“That’s close to Gekko’s home.” Reyna said, thinking of her friend. Not wanting to let Mateo down anymore, she needed to make sure this Radianite remained secure. “We need to make sure that a spike does not get detonated here”
“We also need to keep our eyes on Kingdom as well. They could already know about this.” Brimstone said.
Neon was looking towards the door after Mateo left, he was hurting and now he probably felt more alone than ever. Sighing, she turned around and looked towards the group, her eyes widening at the hologram as she made her way to the group. “Woah” Neon said as she walked up to the map, eyeing it in curiosity, “if a spike goes off there how many casualties will that be?”
“Too many.” Brimstone responded, his voice laced with an edge of concern and also exhaustion.

“...Teo?” You asked, as his face froze on your screen before the call ended, an error signaling that the connection had dropped. You tried to call him back but was only met by his voicemail.  Resorting to a text, you sent ‘What happened, are you alright?’ only to get an immediate response saying that the message was unable to be delivered. Staring at the screen you blinked, trying to process what had just happened. You looked around through your phone to make sure that everything else was working, and found that you had a full connection to the grid. Whatever happened was on Mateo’s end. You found it odd that as soon as Mateo looked like he was going to confess something that the call dropped. And now suddenly you were unable to contact him back? Did the internet wherever he was suddenly just drop, since he did say that he wasn’t in Seattle or Portland, so where was he?
You sent Mateo a few more texts telling him to call you back if he was able or to let you know that he was okay. You debated on calling Mateo’s mom to let her know about the weird disconnection of his phone. But, with what Mateo had started to say, it had all suddenly made sense of why his mom was acting so weird on the phone. She knew he wasn’t in either of the two cities he had mentioned, she just was trying her best to avoid telling you.
The rest of the night for you drew on longer than you thought it would. You laid in bed, curled up on your covers while scrolling through various forms of media, checking every 30 minutes for a message to Mateo, while also sending one or two to test the connection. So far you had sent around 13 messages, signaling that it had been over 6 hours since your video call with Mateo. You had skipped dinner, your appetite gone and replaced with worry. Around 8:30 you had heard your dad leave for work, and around 11:30 you had heard your sister leave to go to a party. Neither of them bothered you before they left as you said you wished to be left alone.
It was nearing 1 am and your eyes were starting to get dry and heavy with sleep. You continued to stare at your phone screen, mindlessly scrolling, not even focusing on what was in front of you as you fought the urge to sleep. The thought of Mateo messaging you back as soon as you fell asleep would be your luck, and you wanted to make sure that wouldn’t happen. You would stay up all night if you had to, even if that meant you would miss your classes.
All the struggle you put up against falling asleep seemed to be in vain as your eyes shot open to the sound of your doorbell going off throughout the house. You rubbed your eyes in a daze as you checked your phone, “What the hell? It’s 3 AM.” you grumbled to yourself, closing your eyes and throwing your pillow over your head to drown out the ringing. Whoever was at your front door seemed to be holding down the button.
After a few more seconds you yelled, throwing your blankets off of yourself as you stood up. Exiting your room, you looked across the hall to your sister’s room. The door was wide open, and through the faint light shining inside you could tell she hadn’t made it home yet. “I swear, Gwen, if you forgot your key and locked yourself out I’m going to kill you” you grumbled. Heading towards the front door.
You yawned as you looked towards the peep hole to view who was outside, but the image you saw completely woke you up. “Teo?” you whispered to yourself. It felt like your heart stopped for a second, time slowing as you reached for the door to unlock and open it.

The helicopter ride to Haven was uncomfortable at most for Mateo. Luckily, he was allowed to stay on the mission. Though if it were up to him he much rather would have been anywhere else, so was it truly luck? Having Reyna leading his mission completely ruined all the excitement he had when he was first assigned a week ago. He avoided her gaze as much as he could, still feeling the hurt from her broken trust just hours before. He continued to listen in on the debrief that he had heard many times throughout the week, giving her the respect as if they were just co-workers.
It was quiet when they arrived at Haven, giving the team the indication that they had beaten their Omega counterparts to the location. Reyna gave one last debrief before she dismissed everyone to set up their sites. The layout was fairly similar to Mateo’s dream, which made him slightly nervous. The only difference was that Killjoy was to be holding garage, her turret pointing at mid while Omen helped Reyna on A.
“Mateo,” Reyna said, grabbing his attention as he went towards his site. He turned around and paused, walking back up to her. “¿qué?” He asked, showing no emotion.
She sighed, "Escúchame Gekko, I know it doesn’t seem like it. But, I am with you.”
Mateo inhaled, pondering on her words, “mis disculpas when I said that it’s hard to believe that right now.”
“I am sorry that it has felt like you have to do this alone. Nunca deberías sentirte así. Y porque lo haces, es mi fracaso como mentor.”
“Eres una gran mentora, Reyna. I am just upset my privacy was infiltrado.” He sighed.
“I know cariño,” Reyna said, “And I am truly sorry.”
“Gracias, Reyna.” Mateo said, his nerves starting to settle slightly. He began to leave again before he was stopped once more.
“Also, Gekko-” “Si?” He asked.
“fuerte y feroz. They will not hesitate, you must not either.” Reyna said, her voice sturn and steady as she believed if Mateo took to heart anything that she said, she needed it to be this.
“Lo sé, Reyna. I know” he nodded, taking her advice in. He gave her a slight smile before he went and made his way to his position at C.
Mateo had scoped out his site, walking down C long and looking for the angles that Harbor had mentioned would be crucial to hold and would most likely be an area that their Omega counterparts would hide in if cornered.
Holding with his Vandal, Mateo aimed down site at C long, staying alert and ready for anyone to appear. His eyes were starting to strain as he had been focused already for 15 minutes at least. “Any signs of movement anywhere?” Killjoy said over her ear piece.
“Negative” Omen responded. “Nope” Jett added in “Gekko?” Reyna questioned. Mateo was about to speak before he saw Omega Jett peak up into C long. He fired his gun but she quickly dashed back from where she had appeared from. “Jett spotted!” He held his aim ready for her to peak again only to be met by a double peak with Jett and Sova. Mateo quickly ducked back behind boxes, The Omega archer sent a tracer dart flying landing on the wall in the back of C site, marking Mateo. “Sova spotted as well, my location has been marked, requesting backup!”
“I’m on it!” Killjoy responded, peaking out C short and throwing a grenade to stop the infiltrators from pushing up any further. From behind the box, Mateo threw up Dizzy who quickly scanned the area, blinding the two enemies. Mateo peaked out from his cover, aiming his gun at the Sova who was now blind in long with nowhere to hide. With three body shots to the chest, the archer was down. Mateo tried to catch his breath, this had been his first kill that wasn’t on one of the training bots. He had to get his breathing back under control and steady himself. One was down but there were at least 4 more to go.
‘fuerte y feroz’ he repeated to himself the words of advice that Reyna had given him.
“There’s someone A” Reyna said through the coms.
“Sending cover” Omen called out as he placed a smoke down protecting the A site from a quick entry.
“I believe the Jett has rotated,” Killjoy said. Jett spoke up, “I spotted her- uh me- In window! I’m holding.”
Mateo heard gunfire from across the area, indicating that A site had begun to be fought over. He continued to stare down long, just to make sure they weren’t being faked, until he heard otherwise. Killjoy began to move back into garage to help Jett hold her Omega counterpart.
On A site, Omen peaked heaven with an Operator, peaking into short while the smoke still covered long. Reyna shot through the smoke, taking cover behind boxes as bullets sprayed blindly towards her. A quick flash the two had never seen before, made up of white and yellow sparkling lights, blinded them instantly. They took cover as the omega agents entered the site, forcing Omen and Reyna to fall back. “We’ve lost the site.” Omen growled into his communicator.
“Gekko, Killjoy. Begin your rotation to A, stay alert as I believe they have sent the new agent, Lux, with them.” Reyna informed the rest of the team.
Killjoy began her rotation from garage through the window and the connector to B, leaving an alarm bot behind her incase of an enemy push or rotate. Mateo gathered dizzy up from where she was idling, quietly praising her for the work she did to help him with the Sova.
He quietly made his way to the C and B connector, where he would join up with Killjoy on B so that the two could arrive at A together. Before he could walk to B, a wall made of a white and yellow swirling energy came up, completely blocking off the entrance. This was something that Mateo had never seen before. He turned around, scanning his surroundings and saw nothing. “Be careful,” He spoke into his com, “I think the new agent put up a wall blocking off my entry on B.” “I see it too, but I don't see any other enemies. Still keep your guard up, we don't know how far their range is for their abilities.” Jett said.
Mateo stared at the wall before him, it didn’t look solid? It had a similar movement about it like Phoenix and Astra’s  walls, though contained to one area as it took up the entire entry way. He carefully reached a hand out to touch it, but hissed in pain as the energy making up the wall instantly burned his flesh with contact.
He closed his eyes, shaking out his hand as he heard the sound of a revolver hammer locking behind him. He froze, feeling the sensation of someone watching him.
“Careful-”, They spoke. Mateo’s eyes widened, he knew that voice but there was something off.
“-Mi, amor. Wouldn't want you to hurt yourself.” They said, venom laced with their words.
Mateo raised his hands in the air, as he turned around and was met face to face with your Omega counterpart. His heart increased, she looked just like you only she was staring at him with an expression he had never seen from you before; Hatred mixed with amusement. “Lux?” Was all he could murmur
“Lux, (Code/Name), (Y/N), any of those work.” She sneered, holding her Sheriff out so that Mateo was staring down the barrel.
“Gekko, status update.” Killjoy was heard over the intercom.
“I-” Mateo started, but he was interrupted by your double.
“Shhh. Let’s not give away our position, now.” She hummed as she walked towards him, circling him like a Lion does its prey. “You seem so much more fun than my Mateo,” she lulled, “Let me guess, you actually made a move on my counterpart. Lucky her. Mine couldn’t take a hint if it hit him in the face.”
Mateo’s heart was racing, he never once thought that when he looked at the enemy he would see you. The (y/n) he knew wasn’t a Radiant, or so he thought. He remembered Brimstone's talk about discrepancies. But, wouldn’t you have developed your powers by now if you were?
He remained stunned in silence as your double paced around him, keeping the sheriff aimed at his head, his eyes following her. She walked up to him, placing a kiss on his lips, while pressing the cool metal of the gun to his temple. A wave of panic shivered down his spine causing his hairs on the back of his neck to stand up.
She pulled away and took a step back, “Well, I’d love to keep this conversation going, Gekko-”
“-They’ve planted the spike!” He heard Jett yell into his earpiece.
“- But it seems like we’re out of time.”
Your double pulled the trigger on the sheriff twice, sending two rounds flying directly into Mateo’s shoulder. He yelled out in pain as the bullets burned through his flesh. Falling to the ground he squeezed onto his shoulder with his unburnt hand, trying to control the bleeding. He could hear commotion over the earpiece, but all of the words were deafened by the fire he felt on his shoulder.
Wingman jumped out of Mateo’s bag, running towards your Omega counterpart and stunning her, causing her wall blocking B to fall. As soon as it did, shots from a Vandal could be heard flying over Mateo and towards your double, but it wasn’t fast enough. Before the shot could land, your double vanished into a curtain of light, teleporting out of the area of danger.
Mateo squirmed on the ground in pain, Wingman ran up to his shoulder and pressed against Mateo’s hand, as if to try and help stop the bleeding. The two felt the ground shake below them, before an eruption of darkness shadowed them, indicating that the spike had gone off.
Omega had won. He let out another anguished cry as a wave of fire spread from his shoulder and down through his arm. “Gekko’s down, but he’s conscious” someone next to him said over the ear piece. He hadn’t realized it but Killjoy had taken a place, kneeled beside him. She must have been the one to try and stop your double.
The ground rumbled as Killjoy spoke, started to shift and break apart on A where the spike had gone off. “Shhh, shhh now, Gekko. It’s okay. You’re going to be just fine” the girl said, taking off one of her straps and preparing to use it as a makeshift splint to try and stabilize his arm.
Mateo squinted his eyes, trying to force back another wave of pain, “what about- the- others-“ he said through clenched teeth. “Where’s- Reyna-“
“She’s coming, Gekko, don’t worry. She’s alright. You’re doing good, keep that pressure.”
“The- new- agent-“ Mateo started, only to be cut off by KillJoy.
“Shh, don’t talk. Save your energy, Gekko.”
“Gekko! Mi cariño!” Reyna yelled out, kneeling next to Mateo across from Killjoy. Mateo looked upwards to see Omen making his way not far behind Reyna, in his arms was Jett, her arms laying heavy, swaying as Omen walked. Mateo’s eyes widened at the site of Jett’s unmoving form lying in Omen’s arms, her shirt drenched in blood. His adrenaline started to spike in that moment, his heart racing. He tensed up, trying to sit, grimacing as he did., “Jett- what… is- is she-“ He tried to speak, wincing with every word.
Reyna used her hand to avert Mateo’s gaze from his fallen comrade. “Sage will help her, Ahora necesitas quedarte con nosotros, Gekko.” Reyna looked at Omen and Killjoy as bits of derbies from A could be seen floating in the distance, the cracks in the ground spreading towards B, “We need to get out of here. Now.”
The next moments for Mateo moved in stop motion. He heard Reyna and Killjoy speaking to him, but their words merged together, unable to penetrate his ear drums. He blinked and they were helping him up, his good arm over Reynas neck as she helped him stand up. He blinked again and they were helping him into the helicopter, Omen placing Jett’s body on a makeshift infirmary bed before covering her up completely with a blanket. Another blink and he felt Killjoy pressing gauze up against his shoulder, while Reyna watched on, an emotion he couldn’t read in her eyes. He heard himself cry out in pain as Killjoy cleaned his wound, but it was almost like his voice was coming from someone else. Blinking once more, he saw his arm bandaged up, Omen walking up to him with Wingman in his arms. The wraith gently placed the creature down close to Mateo, who wasted no time to run up and cuddle into the crook of his uninjured arm.
As Mateo went unconscious, Reyna made her way next to where he lie, sitting down beside him she watched his chest rise and fall. “Lo siento, Mateo.” She said, giving him a kiss on the top of his head before brushing his hair back off of his forehead. “Eres un luchador Lo superarás.” Wingman looked up at Reyna from his place tucked in Mateo’s arm. She smiled at the creature, “Lo hiciste bien pequeña. Thank you for watching after him.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Teo!?” You asked as you opened the door, a mixture of excitement and confusion in your voice, still groggy from sleep. “What are you do-” you continued, pausing as he took a step back. From behind him you saw a small pink creature begin to make its way to you. You let out the start of a scream as it jumped at you, the sonic wave it sent out from its body rendering you unable to move or speak. You winced slightly, feeling the paralyzing energy moving through your body. “mis disculpas, (y/n). Or what your Mateo calls you, ‘Mi amor’?” He smirked.
Your eyes darted around before meeting his gaze once more, in fear. What did he mean, ‘Your Mateo?’. You had heard of the incident years ago in Venice of a dimension traveler attacking. Was this one of those instances? But if so, what did you have to do with any of this? None of this made sense, you had to still be dreaming. Working against the paralyzing energy through your body, you were able to slowly close your eyes, trying to wake yourself up. Suddenly, you began to feel a burning sensation throughout your body. A mixture of heat and energy shooting through your limbs, leaving you wondering what the creature did to you. You opened your eyes to meet ‘Mateo’’s gaze, his smirk faltering as he saw your normally (e/c) eyes, a golden yellow. He suddenly looked nervous. “Apurarse, Omen.” He said, looking behind you. Unable to see what he was looking at, your heart started racing. You felt hands on your wrist as your arms were pulled behind your back, and fastened with a ziptie. You let out a small groan of frustration as you tried to fight your way free, but your body was not listening to you. Continuing to try and struggle, you were able to let out a small “Why?” that was cut off as a piece of fabric was placed over your mouth. 'Mateo' looked at you  as he stepped closer, brushing a strand of hair behind your ear “Lo lamento, Mi amor. But, a mission is a mission.”
A cloud of purple smoke started to surround you and your vision, you found yourself almost weightless for a second before the smoke dissipated. No longer in your house, you looked around as the paralytic was staring to wear off, 'Mateo' nowhere to be found. You didn’t get a great look at the room you were in before another strip of fabric was placed over your eyes, taking away your vision. What you could briefly see told you that the room was some kind of operating room, with various computers on the walls. The hand that had bound you reached out, somewhat gently, and led you to a chair and fastened your ankles to the legs. You yelped and tried to move from your bindings as you felt a prick of a needle on your skin. “I’m sorry.”, your captor said, as he drew your blood. The sound of his voice was haunting, but his words seemed sincere.
You moved in the chair, trying to free your hands. Although the paralyzing effect from that creature seemed to subside, you still noticed the slightly burning, almost electric feelings radiate through your mind and body as your adrenaline continued to pump. The sound of a door swinging open, accompanied by 2 sets of footsteps signified that you were no longer alone with your captor. You held your breath, as if out of instinct to try and go undetected. Never imagining you would be in a situation like this, you were feeling helpless. You weren’t a fighter, but you were smart, you needed to wait until you had resources to use and right now with your senses being taken away from you, the only thing you had to go off of is what you were able to hear.
“Let me see that sample” a woman said as she walked to the far side of the room, her voice sounded aged, and muffled almost as if it were coming through a microphone. A machine whirred up followed by sounds of typing.
The three stood in silence, as one person, you assumed it was the woman, typed.
“What did you find?” The third person spoke up. A male, their  voice older, gruff, and sturdy.
“It’s positive. She’s radiant. A discrepancy here must have caused her abilities to not activate, which is how they must have missed her and skipped to recruiting Gekko” The woman said.
Your eyes widened behind the fabric, were they talking about you? No, you couldn’t be a Radiant. Radiants are the ones who attacked Venice, and killed thousands in the city. Radiants are the ones who took your mother away from you. You weren’t one of them.
A new set of footsteps drew your focus back into the group. “Alright, perfect. That means we’re able to move on to phase 2 then?” The voice sent a shiver up your spine. This voice sounded like yours but it couldn’t be. The footsteps began to make their way closer to you. Feeling a pair of fingers loop onto the fabric and pull it down below your eyes, you took in your surroundings. In the room, a  woman with a short black haircut wearing a mask around her nose and mouth, a hooded figure who seemed to be glowing, and a bearded man with a muscular build looked on from the background. Though, your stomach dropped when you saw your own smirking face staring back at you. The only thing letting you know you weren't truly staring at your own reflection was the faint glow of a yellow/gold on the inner iris of her (e/c) eyes, “it’s about time I finally get to look in the mirror” she said.
Your chest rising and falling as you began to hyperventilate, “who are you?” You tried to ask, but it only came out as a mixed mumble through the fabric covering your mouth. Your double began to hyperventilate as well, mocking your mumble before laughing, “Sorry, (y/n). Just trying to get into character.” She smiled, something about it sending a chill down your spine.
She began to reach towards your neck and you tried to squirm away from her hands only to be stopped by the chair you were bound to. She unclasped the locket you were wearing. The gift Mateo had given you before he left. You tried to protest, but your movements were unsuccessful as she removed the jewelry from your neck and placed it around her own, “Don’t worry. I’ll take good care of it, and him.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Reyna entered the infirmary, to see Sage hovering over Jett, a blue glow emitting from her palms. The outgoing girl who now lay still had begun to breathe again just hours before, but there was still more work to be done. Sage had worked on Mateo earlier, his gunshot wound being a more easy fix than the wound that took Jett. The healer had praised Killjoy and Reyna for the work they did on the field to keep Mateo’s breathing controlled, as it likely saved his life.
“How is she?” Reyna asked. She was always fond of Jett. The young agent had such an upbeat attitude about the world. Similar to Mateo.
“Better.” Sage said, a wave of exhaustion coming through her words.
“You should rest. recupera tu energía. I can watch them until you return.” Reyna looked over to Mateo’s sleeping form as well. Wingman sat at the edge of his infirmary bed, looking on with an expression of concern and worry as Sage worked on Jett.
“I will be okay, Reyna. Jett needs me right now. Besides, I have had great company.” Sage replied, looking up to smile at Wingman.
Reyna sighed, “You can help her more once you have rested. She is breathing now, I will alert you if that changes.”
Sage paused, looking up at Reyna and nodding, “Thank you.” She said, giving her a reassuring touch on her shoulder before leaving.
Walking over to the two beds, Reyna looked at Jett a moment before pulling a blanket up over the sleeping woman’s form. These two in the infirmary were too young to be the ones injured on this mission, and even Omen had agreed. Had Reyna called a retreat earlier, perhaps Jett wouldn’t have dashed in as a last ditch effort to try and defuse the spike only to be ambushed by an Omega Cypher and an Omega Harbor.
Grabbing a chair, Reyna pulled it up next to Mateo’s bed and sat down, Wingman quickly hobbling over to her. The woman gave the creature a quick pet of affection before resting her hand on Mateo’s. She should have realized quicker that he hadn’t been heard on the communicator and wasn’t in the gunfight. She should have been more alert that something had happened to him. She had promised his mother she would protect him, and now he lay in the infirmary after his first mission that she had led. “lo siento, no estaba allí, Mateo”
With her free hand, Reyna continued to pet Wingman, who had quickly fallen asleep under her touch. Lost in her thoughts, Reyna continued to listen to the rhythmic beeping of the machines that both Jett and Mateo were hooked up to. Eventually, Wingman began to stir slightly as he woke up, and as if on queue Mateo began to move as well, mumbling as he fought for consciousness, “…(y/n)” he groaned.
Reyna perked up, “Mateo, it’s okay, mi cariño”, She said in a soft voice, trying to calm her protege.
“(Y/n)….” He repeated.
“ella no está aquí, but you can contact her later”
Mateo opened his eyes and quickly sat up, as if waking up from a nightmare. He winced as he grabbed his shoulder, now alert he looked at Reyna, doing his best to ignore the waves of pain shooting through him.”
“No, Reyna... it’s (y/n). Lux is (y/n).” He said.

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭
“I’m still here, don’t worry.”
A ghostly hand caressed the hood of his cloak, her faint touch making him crave more of her.
“This job is wearing you down, my love. I think it’s time you come back home to me.”
He could hear the caring in her tone, he could tell she loved him dearly.
“Just don’t forget about me. Who knows what’ll happen to me if they come for me to get to you. I can tell they’re not done with Wisteria yet and I want you to know that I appreciate all that you did for me to get me out. Must not be easy doing these missions without me.”
He needed her to keep talking. This conversation, he remembers it. He’s starting to remember her and a little bit of what he used to be.
“What am I saying? It’s hard living in the shadows, hiding the truth away from our employers. Do you still have your wedding ring? You were smart to say that we should wear it on our right hand instead of the traditional left. Truth be told, I wear mine on the left.”
She laughed.
“We vowed to keep each other safe. And this mission that you’re going to take on, I have a feeling it’s not going to end in your favor. Just my radar going off. So be safe, —---”
No, what did she call him? Could it be his name? Say more, say anything!
“Again, be safe. Phoenix and I await your return. Oh yeah, I have a surprise for you. I just hope you don’t freak out as much as I did.”
Omen woke up from his slumber and a ball of yarn toppled from his lap when he sprung up from the chair. Quickly the table to his right flipped over when he let his anger out for not getting more information. He looked to the source of sound that woke him up and standing there with his hands up, Phoenix said, “Yo, I apologize for interrupting your sleep, but they’re ready to leave.”
Omen looked at the mess he made and left it to be someone else’s job to clean it up. Right now, the mission and his group waited for him. Omen knew he had to be closer to the truth because that unknown woman’s voice kept getting stronger, getting more clearer.
Pissed off, Omen briskly walked past Phoenix and the door automatically slid open to the main hallway. The sound of his heavy footfalls echoed in the silent hallway and he became occupied with the woman again. For now, the information he got in his naps was that, as bizarre as it sounds, they were married. He married that woman out of love and they did missions together until he got her out of their organization.
Her call sign is Wisteria. Omen passed down that information to Cypher and nothing came out of it besides the word “TERMINATED” on the blank profile. She did exist and he knew deep down she was not dead.
Another piece of information he attained was that Phoenix is a dog. She did not know of the agent Phoenix, the one that woke him up two minutes ago. Omen could not remember what kind of dog Phoenix was either.
“Cypher found something, Omen.”
Iso spoke up first, his back resting on the wall with his arms crossed over his chest. Omen looked around and found Cypher typing away on the main computer pulling up a familiar profile. The profile of Wisteria popped out on the big screen with new information.
“This profile updated last night and I knew you would want to know about it.”
Cypher typed some more and multiple files began to open up with pictures of the woman from old missions to her most recent one. In her old missions, she wore an all black tactical gear with a Phantom in her hands.
“Wisteria is an assassin that works for Hourglass. She has unique abilities that can rival your teleportation,” Sova said, “and she has a dog that fights with her.”
“A dog?” Omen questioned and Cypher chuckled, a picture maximized from her recent mission popped up. She wore the same outfit, but right next to her with a black tactical vest on was a German Shepherd. Cypher zoomed in on the dog mainly focusing on the patch with the initials PHX in bold red, “The dog’s name is Phoenix and believe me when I say this, you do not want to fight this beast.”
“Where is she?”
Cypher turned his chair around and leaned over with a hint of mischief in his tone, “Protecting the boss. The recent mission in Morocco scared him so he brought his loyal dog to protect him in Indonesia.”
“Is there anything else we need to know more about?” Sova asked this time, the woman seemed to put Omen in a state of anticipation. Cypher remained quiet and his head tilted with a slight. Then he stood up from the chair with a cheerful, “No!”
“Then let’s move,” Omen demanded.
……
“Mama!”
You stopped walking next to your boss and before you could turn around, a body jumped onto your leg and Phoenix let out a happy whine seeing her favorite human. You looked down in surprise to see your three year old clinging onto your leg and looking up at you with pretty [e.color] eyes. His hair was unruly as usual and you picked him up from the floor with a grin on your face.
“Henry, how have you been? Emilia is a nice lady, right?” You sent a discreet glare at the woman in a white pencil skirt and a white blouse to match it. Emilia responded to your glare with a small bow, her stiff body reminding you that she was just following orders as well.
“We got ice cream after I ate my food! We watched a movie too!” Henry excitedly responded and your boss put his hand on your lower back. His creepy touch sent shivers down your spine and you quickly set Henry down on the floor, ignoring his look of disappointment.
“I’m sorry, Henry,” You apologized and pressed a quick kiss on his temple, “but I have to work right now. I promise, I’ll see you very soon.” Phoenix nudged Henry and the little boy’s frown disappeared in a flash. He scratched the back of her ears and she licked his face with a happy wag of her big tail.
You watched with a small smile and said, “You know, Henry, since you’re here Phoenix can join you and Emilia. I’m sure the three of you would enjoy her company, she misses you a lot.”
Henry looked up at you and wiped his face, “Really? But Phoenix is your protector, mama. She helps you beat the bad guys.” He stopped petting the dog and he looked down at the floor in sadness. “What if something bad happens and she’s not there to protect you?”
It should be the other way around, you wanted to say. If something bad does happen and those guys from Valorant are coming after your boss, you need to make sure Henry would be protected. Emilia was a skilled fighter, but against radianite agents…she  had no chance with them. Phoenix will be able to keep Henry well-protected. And you hoped the agents from Valorant have more heart than the ones working for Hourglass.
“Nothing will happen to me, okay?” You ruffled his hair and removed a pocket off your vest. The velcro pocket connects to Phoenix’s vest when you pat it on her. “When you hear her growling low and quiet, make sure you give her a treat. She’s letting you know to hide.”
Henry nodded his head and rested his small hand on her head. You waved at him and walked away with your boss straight up to the penthouse. The elevator ride had been silent until the man spoke up, “It was a surprise to see Henry. I don’t recall telling Emilia to bring him over to the building.”
“I did,” You said without hesitation. You slung the Phantom over your back and continued explaining, “I don’t need Phoenix to watch over me. I thought it best to hand her over to Henry.”
“You doubt Emilia’s skill to protect your son?”
You looked at him with a raised eyebrow, “Do you believe she can take on Radianites?” His silence confirmed your answer. Suddenly a shiver went down your spine and it didn’t go unnoticed by your boss. His words demanded you to find the intruders, “Go on then. Find them swiftly and end their lives.”
……
The first intruder you found was a man with blonde hair and a bow as his weapon. You recognized him as Sova, his aim never seemed to fail him especially in crucial moments. But he lost an eye for a reason. “Are you good at hand to hand combat?” You flexed your fingers then closed them into fists.
“I have experience.” He responded wary of you. He must know about your ability to teleport or ‘blink’ as you like to call it. You ran at him and he released an arrow your way. Before the tip of it could touch your shoulder, you blinked and appeared right in front of his face. Your fist connects with his jaw making him stumble a few feet away from you.
He drew another arrow and you blinked out of its way then reappeared in the same spot. You put your hands on your hips and said, “Please just give up. I don’t have time for this.”
“Neither do I,” This arrow sparked with electricity and it soared towards you with amazing speed. But despite his determination, you caught the arrow in your gloved hand. You wanted to mock him until the arrow sent a pulse of electricity through your system. You yelped and tossed the arrow to the side.
Your body tingled, the feeling of fuzziness coursing through your body. You didn’t notice that you fell on one knee until you were looking up at Sova. “Nowhere to run,” He said quietly and drew his bow, swiftly he looked away from you and pointed it at the penthouse.
“Wait, don’t!” You shouted and jumped forward. Everything felt like it was in slow motion. Your legs felt heavy and your heart beated in your chest rapidly. You charged right into Sova and you both rolled over one another on the rails of the crane. You ended up on top of him and pointed your ghost at his forehead.
Then you dragged your wide eyes to the penthouse seeing your boss falling down the building. You could hear your heartbeat loudly in your ears and you felt the breath leave your body as you holster your pistol. You pulled your communicator from your breast pocket and contacted Emilia.
“Jaguar, respond.” You pushed yourself off of Sova and gripped the communicator tightly in your hand. “I said respond!”
A crackle sparked in the communicator and Emilia’s voice came through. The woman sounded remorseful, “I have orders, Wisteria.”
You knew what she was talking about. Her orders, you remembered them when your boss forced you back in the organization. If you failed him, your son would pay the price. Emilia was his executioner. You could feel the tears in your eyes form, your voice wavering, “Don’t do it. He’s just a boy.”
“I’m sorry.” Emilia replied back and this didn’t stop you from yelling at her. “Emilia, he’s just a boy!” Then you hoped the command you would give would be heard by your loyal friend.
“Phoenix, guard!”
Sova stood up and watched you give him a tearful glare in angry silence. Then you blinked twice across the sky into the penthouse, running past Omen without stopping. Sova felt conflicted yet he informed everyone to search the building for a young boy.
……
Omen saw flashes of his past. How he came to be and who the responsible one was. It hadn’t been enough though. He needed more.
“Fool. She’s going to hate you.”
Then Omen felt a wave of sadness and anxiety wash over him. A woman with [h.color] hair and watery [e.color] eyes ran past him with her Phantom gripped tightly in her hands. She spared him no glance and kicked the door to the penthouse down.
“Friends. There’s a boy in danger, I believe it to be Wisteria’s son.”
Son?
Omen ran into the circular hallway and watched Wisteria blink all around the floors looking for the little boy. She knocked down so many doors, jumped over the bodies he’s injured prior to all of this. Then she stopped on the fifth floor and he teleported right after she ran into the room.
He could hear a dog growling and someone muffling their cries. Omen hesitated to walk into the dark room. Could he face her, his supposed wife? Omen peeked into the room and saw her hunched over on the floor, her crying being muffled by something. Phoenix lay down right next to her with a knife wound to her hind legs.
Wisteria must have heard him take a step and she looked over her shoulder at him. Her [e.color] eyes softened and she ran up to him, holding an unconscious boy in her arms. “Please, you must know how to help him. He won’t…won’t wake up.”
Omen looked away from her sad eyes to the gunshot wound in the little boy’s shoulder. “I can,” Omen hesitated, “I can take him, but we have to hurry. His breathing is getting shallower.” Omen could feel the boy slowly breathing, the essence of his soul fading away.
There was no time for hesitation and Wisteria handed her son over to her enemy. Then she ran back to Phoenix, scooping the big dog into her arms. Phoenix whined out loud and Omen could hear Wisteria apologize quietly.
“Follow me.”
He wasn’t surprised that she kept up with him. The urgency in her soul seemed to push him to go faster. Her son’s life was on the line and he knew he must be the one to blame. She failed her mission to protect her boss and the punishment for that was the life of her son ending.
……
Every Valorant agent, especially the young ones, stood outside of the infirmary with bated breaths. They have heard that the mission in Indonesia was a success, but an enemy had been invited to their base of safety.
“So you’re telling me that Omen brought her in? Isn’t this against regulations or something?” Phoenix questioned, his British accent scratching the back of everyone’s mind.
Iso rolled his eyes and sipped on his boba drink, “It’s more complicated than you think. Omen knows what he’s doing, we shouldn’t doubt his judgment.”
The door to the infirmary opened up and Sage and Brim walked out with a confident posture. Sage gave everyone a look and sighed, “I should know better than to think you guys can give anybody some space.”
“So how is she doing? Is she going to try to escape?” Jett asked, still on some kind of alert.
Brimstone spoke up for the both of them, “It’s her son and dog that is injured. And no, we heard her story and we can say that she is not our enemy. Now get back to training or else I will assign some chores for you all to do.”
……
Omen watched the door close and he looked back at Wisteria from the shadowed corner. She looked beyond tired and he felt bad for her. He could feel her sadness and confusion. Her hand slipped away from her son’s and she crossed her arms over her chest.
“You’re not as sneaky as you think you are, Omen.”
Her voice remained calm and he knew she was not mad at him for his intrusion. He stepped out of the shadows, his steps light and slow. She looked at him and gestured to the empty seat next to her where Brim occupied before he left the room.
Omen walked over and took the invitation with not a word uttered.
“I want to thank you for putting our differences aside, especially in a pivotal moment. I was so…so afraid you would turn away from me.” Wisteria admitted and Omen gazed at her. Her hands were tucked into her arms and she crossed a leg over the other.
“Never,” He grumbled and a chord tugged at his heart. He knows his past self told her this and he needed her to recall their past for him, “I didn’t turn away from you before, I will never turn away from you now.”
She stared at him cautiously, but brushed it off to start off his interrogation.
“You must have questions about me or something if you’re lingering around the room.”
Omen shifted in his seat and asked, “Do you know what happened to your husband?”
Wisteria cleared her throat and followed his line of eyesight, she had forgotten that she took her bloodied gloves off. Her silver band reflects the ceiling light as she twirled it around on her finger, “Uhm, no. My former boss told me that he failed a mission and betrayed the organization. Then he threatened me to not look into the mission, so I know he’s out there somewhere.”
Omen moved on to the next question, “You mentioned memory gaps, do you know your husband’s name at least?”
“I do not recall. Ever since I joined the organization and got this ability, the experiments left me with blanks and a house burned to the floor. Not that it matters, we didn’t take many photos together.”
“Oh,” Omen said dejectedly. Then he asked his third question, “And your son, his dad is the one who left, correct?”
She took a shaky breath in and nodded her head, “Yeah, I felt extremely bad not letting him know about his son. When he went on missions, we did our best to separate our home life from his work. I was the only one who would contact him with voicemails and I hated the idea of disclosing my surprise on the phone. Little did I know, he wouldn’t return and now it’s been three years of raising Henry on my own.”
Omen analyzed the way she held her tears back. Wisteria’s voice wavered, “God, I only hope that when I see him again, he’ll forgive me.” She wiped her tears away with a sniffle, “Do you think he would be mad at me? For not telling him?”
The shrouded man flickered in his seat and she noticed the troubled expression on his different face. “I’m..not…” Was now the right time to tell her that he’s her husband? Should he say he’s not mad? That for some reason, he could never be mad at her. She did what was right and did everything she could to protect Henry.
“I’m not..sure.” Omen hated the way her shoulders slumped and the hope in her watery eyes vanished. She licked her lips and whispered, “Right, you barely know the guy. Anyways, why are you asking so much about him? Did he make you into this?”
This?
Wisteria gestured to his flickering form. His conflicted emotions messed up his concentration on maintaining his form. “No, someone else did.”
“Well if you need-”
“Ma..ma.”
Wisteria jumped up from her seat and brushed the hair belonging to her son backwards. She peppered his face with small kisses which caused the little boy to giggle. “Mama, that tickles!” Omen stood up and his heartstring tugged at the childish smile on the boy’s face. This little boy is his little boy. A sudden urge to protect him and the woman felt strong in his soul.
“Wisteria, let Sage know if he needs anything else,” Omen told her and began walking away with heavy footsteps. The door slid open and Wisteria called out to him again, a pretty smile on her tired face, “You can call me [Name].”
Omen hummed and tried her name out, “[Name].” His gravelly voice sent shivers down her spine in a good way and she blushed lightly. Then he gave her a curt nod, “I’ll let the other agents know that Phoenix needs rest and keep an eye on her for you.”
“Thank you.”

Want and Desire is One and the Same: Part 1
Tumblr media
Being a secretary to Dr. Sabine Callas wasn't that bad given the pay and the (albeit, distracting) company, but pulling an all-nighter with the American Chemist had led her to stare and think about you differently in every way possible.
Slow Burn fic that I made at 3am because I think I've read every Viper x reader here on tumblr 😭
"Pulling an all-nighter today, Doc?" You smile as you look up from your desk to see Sabine going through a pile of documents with furrowed brows. She simple gave you an irritated "Mhm" before pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Want some coffee?"
"No." Sighing, you stand and walk towards the kitchen area and reach for the cupboard to get some coffee beans and two mugs for the both of you. Tonight was just one of those nights where Sabine was increasingly irritated and she'd end up killing herself without at least a sip of caffeine.
However, little did you know that the papers were not the only things plaguing her mind at the moment. From her desk, Sabine took in the shape of your body as your pencil skirt hugged your waist and how your white satin blouse shone in the dim light of the room. You looked like fruit just ripe for the taking.
Professionalism looks incredibly nice on Sabine, but she couldn't help but thirst for you. She loathed mornings but ended up loving them because you'd be the first thing she sees. She'd notice how you tie your hair up when you're stressed; the lip products you reapply in the afternoon that would make your lips look oh, so, kissable and even your perfume that made you smell so delectable. She'd even notice how the other agents looked at you. You were a pretty little thing, a breath of fresh air from the hustle and bustle of the Valorant Protocol and the peculiarities inside it. It was natural for the other agents to be drawn to you. She did not just thirst for you, she desired you with all her heart. The only thing stopping her was the thought of you saying 'no'.
"Want some milk with your coffee?" You said with a cheerful tone in your voice. Sabine snapped out of her daze and went back to reading the reports in her hands.
"Black coffee, please." You smiled and proceeded to brew her cup.
Sabine was this (🤏) close to grabbing you and holding you against the kitchen counter. Moments like these where the two of you are alone were ones she dreaded the most because of how vulnerable you were.
'This is not the time.' Viper reminded herself mentally. After preparing your beverage you placed your cup on your desk first before heading towards Sabine, cup and saucer in hand. Sabine watched as you placed her cup on her desk. You leaned towards her and she could almost smell your perfume and she eventually turned away with the papers in her hand with a sigh.
That worried you as she was particularly more irritable than normal. You decided to engage in some small talk.
"Hey, Doc? Placing all your attention on those reports isn't gonna make you any more annoyed than you already are, you know." Viper turned towards you and narrowed her eyes.
"You talking to me while I'm doing so isn't helping." You smiled and giggled silently. These conversations made your work more enjoyable.
"Please, just a sip of your coffee. It'll help." Viper simply clicked her tongue.
With a sigh, you return to typing into your laptop.
"You have got to take it easy because doing this at midnight with no sleep during the day is going to kill you. Like, get a distraction or something." Viper looked up from her papers and her eyes widened a bit. She then placed the papers on the table and leaned back on her chair, resting her head on her hand and staring at you. You noticed and looked up too, heart beating fast as you observed her gaze to be more, intense, than usual.
"And what might you suggest be my distraction for moments like these?" You gulped, and cleared your throat. Joking wouldn't be so bad at this time, right?
"How about me? Talk to me or something!" Viper smiled and stood up from her chair. She was towards you and stopped behind you; placing her hands on your shoulders.
"I know something more interesting and fun than just talking," She then leans towards your ear, and you could feel her breath against your ear. "..but I bet you wouldn't be able to handle it, anyway." Your eyes widen.
"L-like what?"
"Take a guess." Vipers' grip on your shoulders tighten slightly before slowly sliding her hands down your arms. You tremble from the contact before inhaling sharply.
"...I'm talking about reading the reports with me, of course." She turns your wheelchair for you to face her, and she greets you with the hottest grin you've ever seen.
"Unless you thought about something else." Viper says with a low tone.
"You sound like you're insinuating something, Dr. Callas." You fold your arms and look at her with a determined look.
"Am I? You made the suggestion." Viper walked away and sat back down on her chair, eyeing the documents before scanning them once again.
Before you knew it, your cheeks turned red and you shifted in your seat.
'That was...something.' You smiled and returned to typing into your laptop.

CAN YOU PLS WRITE SOME REYNA SMUT 🥲🥲🥲
✮ ┆HELP MY HEAD CLEAR. zyanya ‘reyna’ mondragón
Tumblr media
no plot, just smut.
CONTENT WARNING.          18+ only, minors dni. NSFW CONTENT UNDER THE CUT; female-bodied reader, scissoring, kissing, praising, mommy kink, top! reyna, pet names, dub-con elements, | ~0.9k words
A/N.                   i found this scrapped reyna fic on my hard drive finally, hopefully, you like it anon despite it being rather short, and thank you for reading everyone !!!
Tumblr media
to say that reyna was tense lately was an understatement and you were more than glad that the rest of the agents thought when she finally calmed down it was thanks to the countless training bots beheaded. you were more than proud of how well you could assist your girlfriend to cool her head, but you were nowhere proud enough to brag about how you really did it. even that was a lie because in her least angelic moments, reyna was still very pervasive, and with the slightest effort she could charm you into her room to have a good time.
there was no time for you to register anything happening after the sliding door closed, reyna’s hands all over your body, stripping you of your clothes before forcing you under her on the bed. “my precious baby, won’t you help mami, hm?” she coos as she straddles you, her hand catching one of yours that was trying to cover up your bare body, placing them on the buckle of her pants while her free hand was groping your chest, digging her nails into the soft mound of your breast.
your body was sprawled across the bed like a work of art, your tits bouncing softly as reyna rolled her hips against yours. light gasps came from your lips as your clit met hers, grinding against one another slowly. zyanya’s mouth waters at the sight of you under her and her animalistic fantasies of absolutely devouring you right there and then were never harder to maintain than now.
“feels good baby, yeah? helping mami out,” she asks, reaching a hand down to caress your face. it was hot, almost fooling her that you were riding a high fever and your cheeks were red like the blood that flows through your body,  your skin burning where she touched you. you nodded furiously, the blush darkening and spreading down your neck as she pressed herself down on top of you, taking control of the position, her arms bracketing your head and holding it down so you couldn’t move away.
you bit your lower lip to suppress a moan which did not please the woman above you at all. reyna would hate to admit otherwise, tell you out loud how much she is enjoying herself in this position and the delicious stimulation on her clit. she didn’t think this kind of position could be as satisfying as any of her toys or your tongue and she is already planning the next time the two of you will do this.
“f-faster…” you mumble, your thighs trembling already. your heart was racing and you swore it would jump out of your chest any second with the way she moved her hips against yours.
“you are so good mi corazón, such a pretty messy pussy you have for mami,” she exclaims with a high-pitched moan following her statement. she pulls your thigh closer to her and quickens her pace as more praises fall from her mouth.
your eyes close as you soak up her words, whimpering softly after each and every adoring word that spilled from her mouth. your body trembles and your walls clench around nothing but air as your high nears and you find it embarrassing. she mewls all about how she’s gonna devour you after this,  how she is gonna eat you up and make sure you get what’s coming to you.
“m’cumming- cumming!” you squeak, your thighs trying to close as your hips spasm against hers. all your shame quickly dissolves, your mind only able to concentrate on the spine-arching pleasure your body is being wrecked by. you saw stars, shining brightly and bliding you as your orgasm ate you whole.
“cum for me- cum with me cariño.” reyna gave you a few rushed nods, not being able to form any more words as she too was nearing the edge. she can feel the small, unfortunate space between the two of you get even more slippery than before, the wet sounds of your pussy lips getting louder.
just as you were coming, your pupils were blown like you were high on drugs, and your brain was gushing out of your ears. zyanya followed you soon, her head falling forward and one of her hands slipping between the two of you. the pressure in her stomach was unbearable and the release her fingers provided was heavenly.
the sound of her moans was music to your ear and if you weren’t so dizzy because of your lingering orgasm. it felt so damn good to be fucked like this, to know that you are making her feel good and she's letting all that steam off that's building up inside of her.
reyna wasn't shy about showing off, kissing, and biting your shoulder and collarbone- touching these marks. it stung, how her fingers ran along and pushed on her purple marks, but the way that touch made her feel, the warm feeling, and how it made your body shiver all made her delightful, strengthening her ownership over you.
zyanya was breathing heavily, her hair tousled. her entire body was sweaty and flushed and she looked absolutely gorgeous. she pulled back slowly, her breathing labored and her eyes remained closed for a couple of seconds before falling over, taking you in her weak arms, pulling your naked bodies close to one another.

One Hazy Winter [Iso x F! Reader] [6]
[ Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4 / Part 5 / Part 6 ]
Genre: Angst, fluff ‎
TW: Heavy depression, implied suicide ‎ ‎
Words: 5.8k ‎
Synopsis: One winter before his disappearance, you told your boyfriend Yu about a question you’ve had for so long; one even he could hardly respond to. It took many more hopeless winters for you to finally have your answer.‎
Note: Please don't copy or steal my work and pass it off as your own! If you'd like to use one of my headcanons or something, I'd love it if you tagged or asked.
Heya! So I planned on doing this after I finished this story, turns out the scenes were too long and I need split it in two. Anyway, while I was tidying this, I couldn't decide on who the protagonist for my next x reader should be. So I'm making a poll! I'll be posting it within the next few days. I'm REALLY leaning towards Clove, but I thought it would be better if you guys chose instead. Thanks and have a good read!

Ying immediately rushed to her car when you shut the call and sped towards Yu’s house with only a coat to keep her warm.
Her neighbourhood’s location didn’t allow the haze to obscure too much of the residents’ vision. It was a good amount, but not debilitatingly blinding like your area unfortunately was.
And to her relief, the storm had abated by the time she had finally arrived at Yu’s house. For a moment, she was led to believe that you weren’t there yet, but all of that hope quickly dissipated once she saw faint footsteps imprinted on the thick snow just in front of her. Even with the storm that was still ongoing at the time, the rapid snowflakes weren’t falling fast enough to fully cover them.
This let her know you arrived way before her, all in the middle of a blizzard.
Ying slowly stepped out of her car and hugged herself in an effort to keep herself safe from the cold. It wasn’t much, and she wasn’t exactly built to stay warm with just her hands, but it was the best she could do at the moment.
She took out her spare keys and scrambled to open the front door, all while struggling to ignore the stinging cold temperature of the handle she so desperately pulled on. With one final click, the door swung open, and she was swiftly allowed an entrance to a house as lifeless and miserable as the atmosphere that engulfed her. With a deep breath, she rushed right through, swallowing all her fears with her.
‎ ‎
Everything was dark; the air was heavy… It all felt so constricted and suffocating. The windows were shut, and the lingering smog and rapid snowfall effortlessly blocked any sun rays from entering. But despite all of this, the house still felt unbearably cold from the inside. That, and there was still a considerable amount of misplaced light coming from... Her eyes promptly fell on the source, and it didn’t take long for her to come to her own conclusion.
The doors to the backyard were ajar, and this freely let in the cold and the snow without concern for the consequences. It was easy to tell that you pulled them open and rushed outside as fast as you could.
A sigh escaped her, and she moved through the vast yet smothering living room.
‎ ‎
“Y/N?”
‎ ‎
She called out, the echo of her voice only forcing her to outline the shakiness of it, how concerned she was. Even her muffled steps weren’t spared from the mocking reverberation around her as she slowly marched towards the double doors. And with each step, the higher the possibility was that you had died. Hypothermia at the absolute best. But at worst? Even if it logically made sense, she wanted to do anything but consider it.
It didn't take long for her to finally arrive in front of the two doors, her bare fingers slowly wrapping around the handle.
‎ ‎
“Y/N, are you out here?”
‎ ‎
Ying asked sheepishly as she pulled it wide open. But immediately, she fell into silence at the sight.
In front of her were the very trees that were so lively and vivid just a few weeks ago. Their hypnotisingly green leaves, and especially the white flowers she found so pretty. All of it was missing; it was violently ripped off with little regard. Now, the only thing all of the dead branches were capable of lifting was the very snow that killed it, all signs of life having scattered within mere hours.
There were no flowers. There were no leaves. All that remained was the filthy aroma of death and a few lemons that swung hopelessly in the wind, all dangling under the mercy of the second incoming blizzard. Only one more push from the merciless winds was all it took for them to disappear as well.
Ying's eyes then fell on your figure. You were on your knees, not too far away from the decaying trees you were facing, hands on your lap, shoulders slumped, silent, and... unmoving. Still like a statue. It's not that she wasn't beyond grateful that you were alive; she absolutely was, but this... this stasis, so to speak, immediately flooded her with concern.
At least when Yu was in a state somewhat similar to yours, Ying could tell that he was alive. You looked no different from a dead body.
‎ ‎
“Are… Are you okay…?”
‎ ‎
Ying slowly moved down the steps concealed by snow, her feet digging through inches upon inches of it before finally reaching solid ground. You had already processed her presence by the time she got close.
But even as she placed one hand on your shoulder, you didn't react. You couldn’t. Once she leaned closer for a better look, only now could Ying just barely dig out the empty expression on your face through the small openings in your pitch-black hair. The pure, unalloyed sense of detachment etched on your features, and that dreadful empty glare. Even though it was quite a laughable expectation considering who you were, she had assumed there would be tears, or… for you to scream, something like that. Somehow, this was much, much worse.
She stopped and knelt right beside you, unsure how to ease your sorrows after such a loss. Not when you were so silent and gave her absolutely nothing to work with.
‎ ‎
"Y/N, I'm– I’m so sorry..."
‎ ‎
Ying earned naught of a response from you.
You didn’t bother to note just how stiff and numb the tips of your fingers felt. It could be bloody frostbite for all you care, but that did little to shift your concerns. It was nothing in the face of what had just happened. It was hard to convince yourself not to chop down all of the trees again and call it quits. Drop gardening and rot in bed all day. Just like last time.
It took you years to build up the courage to plant again, let alone enter your dead boyfriend's house and spend more than two minutes there. Just a few years ago, the thought of your parents' and Yu's favourite fruits would nauseate you.
You thought you had come so far, only for this to happen. And in your mind, there was one concept that had now become clear. Everything you ever work for, everything that could ever make you happy, winter will be there to wash it all away in the blink of an eye… for no reason. So really, why bother? You mused to yourself, ignorant to the snow that surrounded your now-numb legs. Why bother plucking the last few lemons that dangled from the branches? They'd rot anyway. Or something would be wrong with them. Infested with some fungal disease you missed, probably. They'd wither away like everything else.
Your parents, Yu, and now this.
You felt all of the misery that used to swim in your mind return. And in this situation, it was the only thing that felt familiar. The familiarity of the heaviness in your body that would prevent you from moving, and the familiarity of vehemently refusing to see a tomorrow if Yu wasn't within your vicinity. The familiarity of depending on others for a better state of mind.
Ugh.
Ying flinched once you stood up all of a sudden and moved forward. She immediately followed your lead, placing one hand on your shoulder to stop you.
‎ ‎
"What are you doing?"
‎ ‎
"I'm taking those lemons."
‎ ‎
"What? No, it's too dangerous. Let's just head back inside, I–"
‎ ‎
"Go inside– are you kidding? So I can mope when the blizzard inevitably takes it all away? I'm not going to do that anymore."
‎ ‎
“Y/N, it’s too dangerous!”
‎ ‎
You ignored her.
But just as you took a step away, you felt a firm hold on your wrist that forced you to cut your path short. You angrily met Ying's gaze in response, but she was quick to speak before you could.
‎ ‎
"Listen to me! We can wait for the blizzard to pass, plant another tree, and start all over again. Anything. Please just listen to me, Y/N. This is suicide!"
‎ ‎
"I've had enough of this! I'm not going to be passive anymore! Don't you dare drag me down!"
‎ ‎
She furrowed her brow.
‎ ‎
“These trees can die, Y/N, we can always plant another; but what if something happens to you?!”
‎ ‎
“Let go of me! You’re wasting your breath.”
‎ ‎
You attempted to pull away, but Ying kept you firmly in her hold. So much so, you were sure she could cut off your circulation with a bit more pressure. Since when was she this strong?
‎ ‎
"I understand that winter took everything from you and put you in depression. But, please, don't let it take you away as well!"
‎ ‎
"Winter didn't put me in anything, Ying. I let winter do this to me." You clenched your fist. "And I'm fed up with it! I don't want to be happy because Yu is with me, or because the trees are still standing, or– or because of something else, I want to be happy because I want what’s best for me!"
‎ ‎
You narrowed your eyes.
‎ ‎
"I finally care about the woman I see in the mirror, Ying. And winter can take that when I'm six feet under!"
‎ ‎
With her mind overwhelmed, you managed to escape her grasp in the midst of your words. And immediately, you took your chance and moved towards the trees. Ying, in panic, called out for you,
‎ ‎
"Wait, wait I–" she quickly followed, "let me help you, okay? Let me help you."
‎ ‎
Her hand was placed on your shoulder instead. And immediately, this forced you to stop as you looked at her once more.
‎ ‎
"Your determination is admirable, Y/N. And... if you're so adamant about this, then I'd like to support you in the process."
‎ ‎
You stared at her for a few prolonged seconds, attempting to deduce whether or not she was serious. And she was. Ying, the woman who undeniably had more of an incentive to stay alive, desired to help you under the threat of another blizzard.
Once this realisation dawned on you, a weak smile played on your lips.
‎ ‎
"Thank you, Ying."
‎ ‎
She met you with a smile a lot wider and more natural than yours. Then, with a subtle gesture, both of you moved towards the trees and aimed to pluck the last few remaining lemons and make sure you used them to their absolute fullest potential.
‎ ‎
‎ ‎
Six trees were planted, and you only managed to harvest about thirteen Meyer lemons. Which was embarrassing, since you would've usually come back with no less than six baskets stuffed with the golden fruit if it weren't for the blizzard. The urge to call it a pitiful harvest and toss it all perked up, but doing that would be giving in and crawling back to the prison of misery you tried too hard to escape from. You were so close. You couldn’t give up now.
The doors were slammed shut behind the two of you, and you quickly set down the mostly-empty basket. But before you could recount them, the gloves you wore were forcefully snatched away from you, and Ying immediately took your hands in hers.
‎ ‎
"Look at how blue your fingers are! Any longer, and you could have these amputated."
‎ ‎
Her soft fingers intertwined with yours. And somehow, the longer she kept this embrace still, the weaker the blue tint would be. Warmth shortly began enveloping your hands.
‎ ‎
"Ying, is there any reason for this?"
‎ ‎
"For what?"
‎ ‎
You used your eyes to point at what she was doing. And as per usual, it took her a moment to realise what you meant, a titter escaping her once she finally caught on.
‎ ‎
"Oh, the– uhh, the warmth from my hands, it– it helps, that is all."
‎ ‎
You stared at her with a raised eyebrow, accompanied by an unamused expression. That's one magically warm hand, you mulled whilst the blood returned to your fingers. But you were too exhausted to actually make that comment. And instead, you opted to wait for her until she was done holding you.
It only took a few extra seconds until Ying allowed you to finally pull your hands away. And once you did, you squeezed your index finger, taking in the sensation of being able to feel your limbs again. Thankfully, the heaviness was gone... both physically and mentally.
‎ ‎
"Thank you, Ying. This should make things easier–"
‎ ‎
The words were lodged in your throat once Ying suddenly forced you into a tight hug.
A sigh escaped her, almost as if the two of you had just escaped a life-threatening situation. Maybe to her, sure, but it didn’t really matter to you.
‎ ‎
"I'm so proud of you, Y/N. You've come so far." She pulled away. "I– I don't condone you risking your life, and please, never, ever do this again, but I commend you on your bravery."
‎ ‎
"Thank you...?"
‎ ‎
"Oh! I almost forgot, are you free this March?"
‎ ‎
You were confused about how to feel about her compliments, but this question, combined with the whiplash, was all it took for you to completely forget about what she said. Besides, how many times has she asked this now?
But, to be fair, she never really received a direct answer from you. From what you remembered, anyway.
‎ ‎
"Yes, I am. What is it with you and March?"
‎ ‎
"That's because we're visiting Yu's grandmother in the spring!"
‎ ‎
"Spring? But the lemons–"
‎ ‎
"We'll bake them into lemon bars! Something with a texture so soft, it’ll be exactly like biting into a sweet cloud! What do you think?"
‎ ‎
She inadvertently held and squeezed both of your hands to emphasise her words. And by God, you couldn't help but smile at her excitement. Even you couldn’t deny how cute it was to see her like this.
You escaped her grasp and held her wrist instead, moving down the dark corridor so you could lead her to the kitchen.
‎ ‎
"I'm sure she'll love it, Ying."
‎ ‎
With a beaming smile, your boss quickly snatched the basket on the way and continued following you. You could tell by the grin on her face that she was daydreaming about the day you'd both finally take the train to Yu's grandma again, to visit her after so long. And, admittedly, you couldn't help but do the same.
March is definitely going to be a fun month when it finally comes around. Besides, Yu’s grandmother always preferred softer foods, didn’t she? If, again, your memory served you correctly.

Winter, two years ago.
‎ ‎
Why don't you just break up with him?
Seriously, what was the point of any of this? The stress of dating a man who shamelessly kept so many secrets from you? Honesty is supposed to be one of the pillars of a relationship, isn't it? And yet, it was nowhere to be seen in this one.
That's what ran through your mind for an entire day.
You've been dating Yu for a while now, and it felt like your relationship had been progressing at an adequate rate. He showed you many details about his life, including his house… but he refused to even disclose who the woman in the picture was. And this time, as opposed to how patient you've been for the past few years you've been dating him, you saw red.
Why didn’t he tell you about her? What did he have to hide? Was there something you just weren’t meant to know?
But... you stayed quiet. You acted like nothing was wrong for the rest of the day. The anger instead built up until it spilt at work the next day, and your co-workers had the pleasure of hearing about the turmoil in your seemingly peaceful relationship for the first time. So they planted a few ideas in your head.
And you believed them. In fact, no, you didn't just believe them, you also began adding on to them once your shift was over.
He didn't tell you who the woman in the picture was; he didn't tell you who his parents were; how he managed to buy a whole house at the age of fifteen (oh, but apparently his grandmother 'helped him'); and he didn't even tell you why he had to be so tight-lipped or why his bloody eyes were purple.
What reason did you have to believe that Yu loved you in the first place? That he wasn't some sort of– actually, no, what if he also had other women on the side? You knew that someone with a figure like that would be able to make any girl swoon over him if only he ditched those massive hoodies.
But it worked. It fooled you, of all people.
These thoughts, unchecked, started growing in your mind until they formed practically a whirlwind, one that only grew at the sight of Yu, who was ready to escort you back home for the day. You were a ticking time bomb at this point, ready to explode at him should he make the mistake of saying one wrong word.
You were still grieving your parents. You had many more things to be worried about than some two-faced snake. So why–
‎ ‎
"Y/N?"
‎ ‎
"What?"
‎ ‎
He was caught off-guard by your aggressive tone.
‎ ‎
"Are you... okay?"
‎ ‎
He couldn't help but notice just how quiet you were during your whole journey back home.
Your gloominess wasn't anything new by any means. But this misplaced wrath definitely was. He could tell that, just by the way you carried yourself, the heaviness in your steps, your furrowed brows, and your clenched fists, something was wrong. Very wrong.
You averted your gaze to the mounds of snow obscuring the road instead.
‎ ‎
"Yes."
‎ ‎
The atmosphere was unbearably still. But, nevertheless, the two of you moved through it for a few more elongated seconds. And, to Yu, it felt like walking through an ocean of honey. Sans the sweetness of the liquid, much to his misfortune.
The only thing that broke the tension was the chirping of a few nearby crickets, the clicks of both of your boots, and the loud thoughts that gnawed at your mind.
His soft voice felt like such a farce. A mask he put on. It explained a lot, too, especially why his expression was usually blank, and his eyes were the only emotive parts of his face. Sure, it somewhat mirrored yours, but at least you were open about how much you loathed living.
He placed one hand on your shoulder, only further angering you.
‎ ‎
"Hey, why can't you tell me what's bothering you?"
‎ ‎
"What then?"
‎ ‎
...
‎ ‎
"What do you mean?"
‎ ‎
"What would you do if I told you?"
‎ ‎
"I'll... uh, I'll do my best to fix it. Whatever it is."
‎ ‎
You sighed and instead stuffed your hands inside your deep pockets. Your fingers brushed up against the earbuds he lent you the night before, the same ones you had completely forgotten about until now.
‎ ‎
"We'll talk at home."
‎ ‎
His heart skipped a few beats at this statement, but you didn’t pay him any mind.
‎ ‎
“I need water. I’m stopping by a store.”
‎ ‎
You said. And Yu was quick to pick up on how you phrased that sentence. Nevertheless, he averted his gaze, pulling up the collar so it could conceal the lower portion of his face.
‎ ‎
“Okay.”
‎ ‎
That was all he said before the two of you fell back into silence.
This neighbourhood was incredibly shady. The buildings themselves were coming apart, and the sidewalk was so disjointed that you were sure an earthquake must’ve occurred that they couldn’t be bothered to fix. Not only that, but the two of you were alone. But at least Yu had a large enough silhouette to scare off anyone.
Whatever. Getting out of here was the one thing you needed to do right after getting your drink.
‎ ‎
‎ ‎
You entered the one store that was open– well, you were lucky you even found a store to begin with. But just as you thought you could feel safe, the bulletproof glass with the bullet lodged in it worried you.
Only two people were here. A young cashier and a customer wearing all black, muttering stuff to him. He glanced at you from the corner of his eye, looked you up and down, then went back to his conversation. Weird, you mused, but you quickly brushed it off and instead marched towards the aisles.
‎ ‎
“I’ll wait for you here.”
‎ ‎
You responded to your boyfriend with a hum before disappearing into the crisps section. Not that it concerned you too much. Besides, the cashier was there.
You suddenly remembered the argument from yesterday as you continued searching. The thought of breaking up with him was just so seductive at this point. Really, what was the difference between him and the men who’d say anything to please you?
You stopped by where the juices were stocked. Only a foot away, and you’d find exactly what you needed. But you instead took out the earbuds in your pockets. Your fingers tightly wrapped around the case, your thumb successfully concealing the logo. Breaking up with him would ruin a ton of things for you. But it wouldn’t be the end of the world.
Okay. That was it. You’d do it.
‘We’re done.’, that’s what you’d tell him when you see him outside the store. You’d give him the earbuds, break it off, and go back home. Nothing personal, but you weren’t a doormat who was going to take this treatment.
A sigh escaped you.
Then, you pocketed the earbuds, grabbed a water bottle, and moved towards the cashier.
‎ ‎
‎ ‎
You emerged from the stocked aisles with your boyfriend’s name at the tip of your tongue. However, you weren’t met with him loitering around the automatic sliding doors like you expected. In fact, the entire area was empty, both inside and outside.
He was… gone.
‎ ‎
“Yu?”
‎ ‎
You audibly called out, but you earned nothing more than your echo in response. Where the heck was he? There’s no way he’d leave you alone in an incredibly dangerous neighbourhood like this.
You quickly moved towards an area that would give you a clear view of each and every aisle. And as you slowly walked across the store to observe every single one, you still couldn’t find him. Actually, you couldn’t find anyone aside from the cashier, who gave you a weird look whilst you paced around.
Maybe he was in the bathroom? No… this store was way too small to have a bathroom. But what if he was outside?
Yes, you’d check there, and call him if you couldn’t find him.
With this plan in mind, you stepped through the doors with your bag tightly clutched in your hand, and stepped towards the sidewalk, careful not to stray too far away from the entrance. You turned your head left and right, but all you were met with were the rows of streetlights that prevented the pitch-black darkness from swallowing you. And… your heart dropped to your chest.
Where was he?! He couldn’t have left. He just couldn’t.
With no time to waste, you took out your phone and rapidly began texting him, moving back through the doors and entering the store once more. It was a struggle to type out any comprehensible words, what with how shaky your hands were.
You texted and texted. But a response was naught. Your eyes widened, and you clutched your phone with unfathomable tightness.
There’s no way Yu would leave you out here alone, right? Even with the animosity between you, this could mean life or death. You could be hurt out here, what on Earth was wrong with him?
It’s okay. It’s fine. It’ll be fine. Maybe he just left for something. Maybe he just took a quick stroll since you took a while to pay? Maybe he’ll be back. He’ll be back. Or maybe your coworkers were right. Maybe he realised you were flirting with the idea of a breakup and decided that this was his act of revenge.
You heaved a sigh.
This was it, huh? Just like that? You should’ve expected him to take the coward’s way out.
Just as you slid your phone back in your pocket and went further inside the store, however, you huffed once you bumped into someone. All relief immediately dissipated the moment you looked up.
It was that scruffy-looking man from earlier, the one who was talking to the cashier. He stood in front of you. Uncomfortably close, and seemingly eager to block you from further entering the store past the sliding doors. You couldn’t help but notice how everything on his body was jet black.
‎ ‎
“Hey.”
‎ ‎
Terror immediately coursed through you as you took a step back. Your phone was promptly shoved back in your bag and swiftly zipped up, however.
Why was he still here? You thought he’d left by the time you went to check-out on account of his sudden disappearance. Apparently not…
‎ ‎
“It’s rude not to say it back to me.”
‎ ‎
“…Hey.”
‎ ‎
His ‘greeting’ was anything but friendly.
And if that wasn’t enough for him, it was impossible not to notice that he also had one hand deep inside the pockets of his hoodie. Crap.
‎ ‎
“I… need to go.”
‎ ‎
You immediately stepped to the side, but he swiftly moved in front of you.
‎ ‎
“You don’t wanna talk to me?”
‎ ‎
“I’m– I’m in a hurry, I need to…”
‎ ‎
“Don’t be like that. All I need is somethin’ quick.”
‎ ‎
You just couldn’t get to the cashier, not when he kept stopping in front of you and blocking your path. What was worse was that his hand kept digging deeper and deeper into his pocket. And for the love of everything holy, you couldn’t find your voice to tell him off. Then, he lifted his chin to look down on you.
‎ ‎
“Your headphones look sick. Let me see them.”
‎ ‎
“Headphones…?”
‎ ‎
Your heart jumped out of your chest once you saw a gun emerge from his pockets, and he took a few steps closer to you, forcing you to back up again. You were unintentionally pushed out of the store and into the empty streets.
‎ ‎
“Don’t play dumb with me, woman! It’s in your pocket!”
‎ ‎
He shouted as he kept rushing towards you.
But your back suddenly pressed up against a large pole, and escape seemed hopeless in a place like this. There was nobody around. Not even cars that sped down the road. And even if you tried to run or scream, you were sure he’d gun you down before you’d get anywhere.
So you immediately lifted your hands in surrender.
‎ ‎
“Okay! I– I’ll give it to you!”
‎ ‎
“Good!”
‎ ‎
He pointed his weapon at you as you struggled to dig your hands into your pockets. But even here, you could tell he scrutinised you as if you were a mannequin dressed in apparel he really wanted to purchase. He snatched the earbuds once you held them out for him, but he used his chin to point at what you didn’t realise was your neck.
‎ ‎
“Hand me that sweet scarf while you’re at it.”
‎ ‎
He promptly pocketed the device.
This demand only further engulfed you in panic. But that’s not where it ended, he very clearly continued observing you for anything else he wanted. You were okay with handing him your belongings; it wasn’t worth losing your life because you were too stubborn to do so. But those earbuds were Yu’s. Not yours. Nevertheless, without second thought, you clutched the scarf on your neck with both hands and fumbled to rip it off.
An arm shot out from behind the robber and promptly wrapped itself around his neck. The grip was then firmly tightened to an impossible degree. His gun dropped with an audible clank as the robber desperately clawed at the figure’s considerably large arms in a vain attempt to free himself. It only took a few seconds for his movements to stop.
Then, he was dropped to the ground, revealing a very familiar figure behind him.
You didn’t get a good look at his unmoving body or said figure, however, not when you were forcefully pulled close and tightly held in the man’s arms. The scent of lemons swiftly invaded your mind. Somehow, it successfully pulled you out of your state of panic, and you leaned into his comforting touch.
‎ ‎
“Did he hurt you? Are you okay?”
‎ ‎
Yu’s voice was such a soft juxtaposition to the harsh silence he cut through. It was as if all the fury you felt towards him melted, all within a picosecond.
‎ ‎
“I’m… I’m fine…“
‎ ‎
He placed one hand on the back of your head and brought you closer to himself.
‎ ‎
“I– I should’ve known they would’ve pulled something like that.”
‎ ‎
“Was he…”
‎ ‎
“I left to throw something; the cashier wasted my time. Stopped me from going back.”
‎ ‎
The petrifying shock seemed to have seeped through the both of you, judging by how quiet and flat his voice sounded. But you were more shocked at what he’d done to the man. You couldn’t even peer through his thick hoodie, which obscured your vision, since he held you so tightly against it.
‎ ‎
“Is he– Yu, did you kill him?!”
‎ ‎
“He’s fine.”
‎ ‎
Yu held your wrist.
‎ ‎
“Come on. Let’s go.”
‎ ‎
He walked you a few steps, far enough for you to be unable to look back. Not only that, but he used his size to his advantage to block you from seeing the criminal’s unmoving body as he moved further down the sidewalk.
Then he placed both hands on your shoulders, now able to meet your gaze more clearly. He couldn’t help but notice just how blanched your face was.
‎ ‎
“Did he take anything?”
‎ ‎
“Only your headphones…”
‎ ‎
You muttered, and he nodded in response.
‎ ‎
“Stay here. I’ll be fast.”
‎ ‎
He pushed you out of sight for good measure, before moving back down the path you both marched on. And you immediately hid your face in your hands.
Your voice was beyond shaky, and you could hardly understand what on Earth had just happened as sweat dripped down your chin. You weren’t sure where Yu came from. Was it from inside the store? If so, how could you not have noticed the doors slamming shut? But… Your brain hyper-focused the robber. Especially how he writhed like a bug as Yu mercilessly choked him.
Being so caught up in your thoughts, you hadn’t even realised your boyfriend had returned with the earbuds until he placed one hand on your shoulder.
You hesitantly looked up. But this time, Yu could see something awry in your expression. Concern. Directed at him.
‎ ‎
“Did you… kill him?”
‎ ‎
“I only knocked him out.”
‎ ‎
“But how? How did you know how to…”
‎ ‎
“I… I didn’t. I acted on instinct.”
‎ ‎
“Are you kidding? You knew what you were doing back there! Are you trained in self-defence?!”
‎ ‎
Yu... wasn't sure how to respond to this.
‎ ‎
“It’s just the adrenaline, I–”
‎ ‎
“I can’t believe it. You could’ve run away; you could’ve saved yourself. Yet you…”
‎ ‎
“Run away? What– why would I leave you?”
‎ ‎
“I don’t know, it… I assumed you’d pull something like that…”
‎ ‎
“Why would you think that about me?!”
‎ ‎
You paused for a second.
‎ ‎
“I– I don’t know.”
‎ ‎
“Y/N, please, tell me, did I hurt you? Did I make you upset? I– why would you think that I’d leave you in a place like this?!” Yu shook his head. “Something’s been bothering you since yesterday, right? Please, just tell me what it is; I’ll fix it. Whatever it is, I'll do everything I can to make it right, I–”
‎ ‎
As he spoke, you zoned out and instead observed him. The worry etched on his typically vacant features and that glimmer in his eyes that screamed shock as he tried to grapple with the very concept of upsetting you. He was terrified at the prospect of losing you. Very obviously terrified.
Your thought process was interrupted when he cupped your cheeks in his hands. He held onto you as if you could disappear any second, like some kind of fleeting spirit.
‎ ‎
“I could’ve lost you, Y/N. Something could’ve happened to you…”
‎ ‎
You blankly stared at him for what felt like a few minutes. His words went in one ear and out the other, and all you could focus on was what Yu did to the robber. He choked him. Knocked him out in seconds. This man, the very man who seemed troubled at the sight of the mauled corpse of a pigeon a few years back. You remembered that moment too. You were walking home, and he… saw it. On the side of the road.
You didn’t bother fighting the smile that played on your lips. Then, this smile morphed into a grin, and the grin morphed into misplaced giggling. You began laughing. Loudly.
Yu blinked.
‎ ‎
“I thought you left,” you said in between gasps of air, “I thought you deserted me. I thought you wouldn’t come back! Can you believe it?”
‎ ‎
He watched you wipe away a tear as you continued,
‎ ‎
“But you knocked him out. He had a gun, Yu. Did you know that? He could’ve killed you. You could’ve died because of me!”
‎ ‎
“Why–”
‎ ‎
Yu flinched once you clutched his wrists and forced them away from yourself.
‎ ‎
“Because of those secrets. I thought you had other women on the side. And you know what? I knew you were gone the moment he pulled that gun on me.”
‎ ‎
His eyes widened.
‎ ‎
“I was wrong. I was so wrong. You care about me, don’t you?”
‎ ‎
“Of course I care… What kind of question is that?”
‎ ‎
That answer was just as instinctual as his actions back in that alley. And it wasn’t hard to tell that he spoke without thought, his dull tone screamed his intentions behind those words. And you were delighted to hear this.
Yu flinched when you pulled him into a hug, your head buried in his chest.
‎ ‎
“Then I’d be the stupidest woman on Earth if I left.”
‎ ‎
For a few seconds, he stared unresponsively at the brick wall in front of him.
‎ ‎
“Oh– I…”
‎ ‎
He looked down.
Although he needed a few seconds to realise it, Yu finally rested his hands on your back and gently returned the hug. It would take him longer than a few minutes to comprehend most of what you just said. Heck, it took a moment for Yu to even realise you had forgiven him, let alone the fact you pulled him into an embrace. And it felt… like the knot in his stomach had disappeared.
Once he had finally stopped mulling over your random laughter, Yu couldn’t stop himself from smiling like an idiot, a tinge of red painting his previously pale cheeks.
‎ ‎
“Thank you.”
‎ ‎
He muttered.
Yu cared. He truly cared about you, you thought to yourself. Maybe those secrets were kept for a reason. Maybe… Maybe his hands really were tied. But you could wait until he was ready to share them with you, right?
Yeah, you definitely could.

Deadlock x female!reader
Stiff part 1
Y/A/N- your agent name
Part 1 Part 2
Also guys I need Deadlock I need her so bad she’s so fucking fine LOOK
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Contains: smut implications towards the end
This is my first guys I’m sorry if I did something wrong
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Training at 9 in the morning is not how you’d typically be spending your Saturday. Hell if Brimstone hadn’t ordered a mandatory training you would be asleep, enjoying your coffee, maybe even playing a video game with Phoenix, but that was unlikely since you knew he would also be asleep. Getting up on time wasnt the hard part, no you could wake up whenever you wanted to. It helps that you wanted to see someone.
Deadlock joined to protocol not too long ago, it had been what a few months now? You were so excited to make a new friend, but Deadlock was a serious person, she seemed to always brush you off. You told Skye you wanted to get to know her so you guys went on a hike. When you would talk to her she could give you dead end answers. Like when you asked her how she was liking it here, she just said it was fine, then went to talking to Skye. When you invite her to hang out, she always declines, asking if you guys should really be doing that. So what if we just want to go out sometimes, it’s not like we aren’t allowed to.
Now, it was 9 am, and you were sparing with the Norwegian woman. Brim said to partner up with someone you don’t partner up with, and you two immediately made eye contact. While you two didn’t hate each other, you guys weren’t friends. You worked together on missions, and nothing more. Still, you wish it was more, you wish you got to hear her laugh. She’s stiff, like a cake you forget to store properly.
“Alright, everyone here has shown that while you guys are great shooters. You need to work on hand to hand combat. We don’t need a repeat of last mission.” Viper said, she looking at you, but she was talking about you. You could feel everyone’s eyes dart to you, shame filled your body.
Last mission was rough, it was you, Yuro, Deadlock, Harbor, and Fade. You eventually found yourself out of amo and luckly so was the Omega you. So you guys wrestled each other to the ground, trying to pin each other down and grab your knife. You needed to take care of this yourself, if one of the others came to try to help you, they might shoot you on accident.
Omega you had more training in hand to hand combat than you did, she got on top of you and tossed your knife to the side. In turn, you managed to hit the knife out of her hands, it bounced on the ground. It was a lucky shot, you caught her off guard and hit her hand, it wasn’t far from you two, it was in reach of both of you. You used your remaining strength to buck her off you. While they try to pull themself up, you try to stand up and grab the knife. You almost grabbed the knife when omega you grabbed your arm and twisted it backwards. You let out a scream as the pins you to the ground. This revive wasn’t going to be fun. As they grabbed the knife, you accepted your fate. You heard the familiar sound, and as soon as it happens, the omega you got shot in the head.
She falls to the ground, allowing you to get up. You see a prowler in front of you, you look to your left to see Deadlock with her gun pointed at where the other you was. Fade and Deadlock make their way to you.
“Thanks, I thought I was done for.” You mumble.
“Well you wouldn’t have been in that mess if you just listened to me.” Deadlock scoffed.
“I was out of amo, if I had came with you guys I most likely would have died.”
“I would have protected you. You’re lucky she was out of amo.” She said, raising her voice with every word that came out of her mouth. You felt your face flush. She would have protected you? The thought of her standing in front of you to make sure you weren’t hurt made you face flush hotter. No, you are just on the same team, she would have protected anyone here if they needed it.
“There’s no need to bicker, A/N is safe, that’s all we should be focusing on.” Harbor said, you didn’t hear him approach. But now, he placed himself beside you and took a look at your arm. Yuro made his way to you guys, he took a look at your arm.
“It’s just out of place you can easily snap it back.” Yoru said, moving between you and Harbor, pushing him back. Little did Yoru know, it was not snapped out of place,
“Yoru no, you’re not a medic and that’s a bad idea.” Harbor stated. Yoru didn’t listen.
“Yoru back up.” Deadlock said in a deep tone. She spoke loudly and clearly, but Yoru ignored her.
“All you gotta do is snap it back.” He scoffed. He grabbed your arm.
“Yoru stop please!” You begged.
“One, two, three!” He yelled before a wave of pain rushed though your body, you let out a scream. Deadlock shoved him to the ground and pulled you into her. While she was yelling at Yoru all you could think about was how even after a hard battle, she could still smell good. Maybe it was weird to think that, maybe it was weird to think of a warm fire when she pulled you close to her, maybe it was weird how close she pulled you to her, so what if it was weird you noticed her heart beating faster, and it doesn’t matter that when I looked up at her, I saw a beautiful woman.
“I think you’re actually stupid.” Fade said to Yoru.
Back to now.
“We will also be holding first aid classes, which are mandatory as well. To start us off this morning, you are to take down your opponent. The only rules are to not injure each other, no weapons, and no abilities.” Viper added. You looked at Yuro, and he was actually ashamed. You never thought you would see that. You look back to the woman across from you, she wore a black tank top and grey sweatpants. You feel your heart pounding, you hated how when you looked at her, all you could crave is her touch. That warm feeling you felt with her. The ride back to HQ being the only thing you wanted again, when you were almost out of it she just played with your hair. Calling Sage to be ready to treat you, and how she was telling her how Yoru made it worse. You were so caught up in your thoughts that you never heard them blow the whistle to signal start. And before you new it, Deadlock pinned you to the ground. She leaned down to you.
“You have to pay attention darling.” She whispered in your ear. You felt your face heat up. You didn’t know what to do. All you reall could do was look into those icy blue eyes. They reminded me of the camping trip in the Arctic my family used to go on. We’re we really there to study? Yes, but that never stopped you or your siblings from playing with the penguins.
“Are you ladies doing alright?” Brimstone asked. Deadlock turned a bright red and got off of you.
“Just giving her some tips.” She replied looking at you. That look made what ever you were feeling intensify. Brimstone nodded and turned slowly. He went to go check on other people.
“Giving me tips?” You ask
“I’ll give you a tip, every time I knock you down” she said. Was she flirting? I mean that look said she was flirting, but she had the same tone she always used with you. You felt your face burn.
Second time around you were able to dodge her for a while, you even went to tackle her sometimes. If you tackled her you should say something but every time you looked at her you words failed you. Before you knew it, she pined you again. Lucky the mat you two were on was soft. But you still hit the ground with a thud. With that thud you led out a grunt.
“I’m sorry, I didnt mean to hurt you.” She whispered. This time you could hear some emotion in her voice, this was sincere.
“Where my tip?” You ask her. She smiled and leaned into you and whispered
“Keep you’re eyes on me.” She said.
“I could do that all day.” You muttered under your breath. She smiled and got off of you. Holding out her hand for you to grab. You take her hand and she pulls you up.
This time instead of dazing at her or thinking to much. You pay attention to her movements, her feet placement were important. She slightly jumps when she comes at you, so dodging becomes easier. And everytime she pins you down she becomes more bold. The eventually pined me down for the fifth time.
“Come on, you’re not trying. I’ve seen you fight. You fight like hell. Unless you like it when I pin you down.” She whispered. You shrugged, but she was right, you were going softer. You liked it when she pined you down and mounted you.
“Want me to try harder sweetheart?” You asked. She blushed, a new shade of red. She got off of you, and you sat up. This time you’d pin her down, before you stood up she grabbed your shoulder. Now you couldn’t get up, she was holding you down.
“Pin me down.” She said, then she got up.
“Let’s try again.” You said, she nodded. Instead of being distracted or purposefully losing, you easily overpower her. Pure force, you actually didn’t know where it came from. But you found yourself sitting on her. You mounted her, and won a round.
“Any tips for me?” She asks you, you think for a moment. She’s perfect, from her looks to her form.
“No, everything you do is perfect.” I whisper. She just smiles.
After the whole day of training, you talk to her more and more. You two never changed partners. The whole day you actually didn’t mind training, you two not only flirted, but you learned more about her. By the end of the day you two were a sweaty mess.
You found yourself talking to Yoru, and the unexpected happened. He apologized,
“Okay who’s holding the gun to your head.” You laugh.
“No, I’m sorry. No one’s making me do this. I let my ego get the best of me.” He said.
“I need to tell someone about this.”
“Do not tell anyone. I said I was sorry, you are okay now, therefore we can move on.” He said. Well it’s a start. He quickly walked away to Harbor. Alright so Harbor made him, either way it’s a start. You turn to walk to your room when Deadlock stops you.
“Where are you going?” She asks you.
“My room, I need a shower. Look at me.” You chuckle.
“Come with me, I need to talk to you.” She says. Before you can say anything she grabs your hand and drags you behind her, not that you needed to be dragged. If she said to follow her, you’d follow her anywhere. After some walking you got to her room.
You get into her room. It’s dark, but she hadn’t been in her room since this morning. Her bed was un made, even in the dark to could tell her room was very clean. You heard the door shut behind you.
“Are you going to tu-“ you start, but she pushed you to the wall. While she pushed you to the wall, she places her hand behind your head. You two are silent for a moment, both of you wanting to take in this moment. Even with the lights off, you can make out all her features. Maybe it was because she was so close, maybe you memorized every feature on her face. She inched closed to your face, you felt her hot breath, she started to breathe heavier.
“I don’t know what changed today, I can’t ignore these feelings anymore.” She whispered before gently placing her lips onto yours. You’re shocked, for a moment you’re frozen. You’ve been wanting this, ever since she came here. Now that it’s happening, you’re frozen. She pulled away. Then put her arms down and backed away.
“Iselin..”
“No.. I’m sorry. I should have asked, I don’t know what came over me but I-“ she said, you could tell she was panicking. You felt so bad. You grabbed her and pulled her close to you. You turned her around and pinned her on the wall. Not hesitating to crash your lips to hers. It took her a second to kiss you back, but once she did. You guys couldn’t get enough of each other, and quickly you started to feel her. You put your hand up her shirt, and in turn she puts her hand down your pants. You let out a soft moan. You two pulled away for a moment.
“I’ve wanted this for so long, I’ve wanted you for too long.” You whispered.
“Ive been wanting you since I walked in that door. What if they judge us for being together?” She’s asks
“No one will say anything, KJ and Raze have been dating for a while first. Everyone was fine with them.” You say. She smiles.
“Are we going to dinner?” She asks.
“After we have some fun” you say before pulling off your shirt.

Gekko is the definition of non toxic bf.
Can I ask a NSFW headcannon of f!reader. His surface demoner would be a sub, but for some reason I can see him as a service dom. Maybe a switch?
《ah! I'm not used to writing nsfw hcs, but— I did try. these are pretty short, but I hope you like them》
chara》 Gekko-Mateo, Female-Reader.
warnings》 this post is nsfw, whiny gekko, gekko being cute.
words》 285
requested?》 Yes!

Not Safe For Work HeadCanons
Gekko—Mateo
——————————————————
● okay, gekko is def a switch let's be real.
○ sex with gekko is absolutely perfect, he always makes sure you're comfortable.
●when he's ontop, you're always gonna feel good. your pleasure comes first. for example, he enjoys eating you out, and he knows he's good at it.
[You leaned your head backwards, opening your mouth letting out soft moans as Gekko's tongue licked at your clit, his fingers pushing into your hole. He smiled, his face covered in your juices as he let out small groans. "Mierda, you taste so good, bebé." He purred out, pulling his two fingers out of you and placing them in his mouth. "Tan jodidamente bien."]
○ let's talk about him bottoming. absolutely loves when you edge his cock, his precum dripping out of his tip as he whines for you to let him cum.
[Your hand gripped his throbbing cock gently stroking it as your tongue pressed against the tip, licking off the precum. "Oh mierda— I'm gonna cu— por favor‐ let me cum—" He moaned out, his eyes closing as his muscles spammed, his hips jolting upwards as you let go of his cock.]
● COCK SIZE . his dick is def big but not enormous. so I'd say.. 6-7 inches with a slight curve upwards. idk, I'm not a dick connoisseur. he keeps it trimmed down there tho.
○ his favorite positions are missionary, and cowgirl. it's just so intimate for him to see your face as he fucks you. he loves it.
● eheh, tying him up would rile him up too! especially if you're wanting to show him how much of him belongs to you.
○ he's not overly loud during sex but he does moan. and whine.
["Fuuucckkk.." He whimpered a bit as pushed his cock fully inside of you, his head rested on your neck, your legs around his waist. You gasped a bit as he thrusted his cock in and out, hitting your spots perfectly. He began to whine a bit, kissing on your jawline. "Fuck, tu coño feels so good, Y/n.."]

"Kuso~", Yoru mutters in your ear as he fucks you mercilessly, while holding your body against him with his arm. Rift particles around the area, signifying he's close to climaxing.
His freehand, travelling across your body and shoving his fingers inside of your mouth to prevent you from making any noise.
Being the selfish lover he is, he bites deeply into your neck as he cums, and you groan out loud.
He licks your tears, and praises you for the being the good little slut you are.
